Favorite new character you found from any media as of late?

(A favorite of mine lately has been The General/Mr. Villain from Mr. Villain’s Day off. Though I started it back in late January. It’s a really funny cute slice of life anime about an alien villain from the perspective of the equivalence of a power rangers having fun days off and a love for pandas, I totally recommend it!)

This is a picture of the show it has about 13 episodes in sub and the season just finished and has been a real help for me when I’m stress and been a treat at the end of the week when it came out.

I am pretty jealous of folks who get crushes on characters in media! 🤣 It unfortunately doesn't happen a lot with me, so I typically swoon over my characters to make up for that ehehe.

But uhhhHHH let me think... has there been any character that I have found cute?...

Nos-4-A2 from the Buzzlight Year of Star Command cartoon! It's a old cartoon, but rewatching that show was a fun NOStalgic trip! 🤣

I have also been playing a beta version of a Nsfw game called Cloud Meadow and I think Brontide has a fun personality, between being this tanky warrior vs the silly blushy guy you see in the art sometimes. It gives me the vibes that he gets silly and shy with the romanto and that is very cute! = D

Also the weird silly clown man that appears? He is weird, he is silly, he has puppets on his hands that talk to you. Is he throwing voices or are the puppets sentient? I have no idea!

Though I have to say I am personally really drawn to the shadowy NPCs you run into, they are human shaped but drawne in a way where their features are obscurred.♡A♡ ) You can't tell if they are just regular humans or if they are some kind of shadowy beings and.. I really like the mystery and think they are cool looking. Also the resident mage has a really neat design and I wish you could talk to them more too. . .

Of course I take a liking to the guys that you can't romance in the romance game ahahaha 🤣🤣🤣

Oh! Yes, I think I have read a little bit of that!! That is such a cute comic! (And an anime? Heck yeh!) I am so glad you found fun stuff to read with cute characters that you enjoy! >//U//< ) That is the best!!

Buzzlight Year of Star Command (Gameboy Color):

"Merry Christmas to all of you. Before I continue my Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex reviews, here's a little gem that I found the other day. I'm a big Toy Story fan, so of course a game like this would get my attention. It's such an interesting take on your typical top down shooter. You pretty much do the same every level: reach the end of the level fast, and defeat a boss. It's a simple yet addicting concept for me. It may look goofy and not that appealing, but once you get into the way it plays, the different power-ups and collectibles, then I think you will get into it. Now, I need to try the console version."

I think it's kind of lame that I *have* to join the brotherhood of steel. Like I guess it's supposed to be really fan servicey that we get in so easily and make us feel all important. aside from Danse sounding and acting like Cop Buzzlight year, I feel like it every faction in this game is trying to court me in the way an old classmate would sell me on a MLM.

Like the interesting parts of New Vegas wasn't oh you could join a lot of groups at the same time. I think it came from how you could play the groups against each other acting as a man on the inside.

The karma system in game I think is pretty unsalvageable, but the reputation system feels very balanced and engaging as a mechanic because something as simple as say-- accidentally shooting one of the NCR friendly trading post guys while you were fat thumbing through a legion assassin squad rightfully earns you some beef with NCR as well as beef from the legion. It felt very reactive and engaging. You had to earn your position in each faction, and even when youre there youre still treated like a new-guy, youre still talked down too and berated.

When Ceasar requests an audience he only does so close to the end of the first act of the game after you've fought your way to vegas, he recognizes the player's strength to have gotten so far.

Meanwhile in fallout 4 I escort one dude beefed up in armor through a dark station and beat up some robots for him-- and I'm suddenly fit to perform regardless of my current objectives or beliefs.

It feels very video gamey and while that's obvious I think it could be done more fluidly/diagetically than escort mission through extremely silly set pieces like giant mosquitoes only to then run into a pack of wild dogs.

All this too say I think the game got so bored and uninterested with it's own plot that it's trying to grab my attention with the amount of stuff I can do for these characters versus the quality.

So I am contractually obligated as an animation fan to watch the new animated movies... even disney. so we watched lightyear...

How to explain this. its. its fine. its so fine. visuals. quite good. its all the words you use if your having these conversations. its competent. its techical. well excueted. its high *fidelity*. you get it.

Story. well. strong concepts. pretty good. sci-fi kind of situations. plot and pacing. uh. well eh. emotional... connection with the characters. ouf. okay. listen to me. im not this person, i love watching things for kids, tones of shit for kids is my jam, i think media geared for young children not just can be but should be good! okay. so. during the movie i said anyone else wish they werent watching a kids movie right now? and yeah agreement of the room. its just. they are going through the motions of making character depth, or humour, or arcs or whatever but. fuck man its so fucking flat dude. i feel a deep void where after movie emotions should be.

And. like. at this point the shit scraps from any other studio might make me feel more than these full production quality zombies. which. fucking sucks for all the people who work on these things. like. uncountable people, working their fucking asses off. to make. we looked it up. way too many movies a year. like. just way too quick a turn around.

Soooo uhhhh, let me just leave you with something my brother told me was in the original buzzlight year of star command tv show. Which is a vampire robot named NOS-4-A2 who was defeated by a guy named Ty Parsec, who due to a bite from NOS-4-A2 and radiation from the moon of Canis Lupis turned into a *wirewolf* (which is of course, a robot werewolf)

On Halloween night the monks are trick or treating and they meet up with Jack. Jack is dressed in a tight leather outfit, he’s Edward  Scissor hands. Clay can’t help but stare. (Clay is dressed as buzzlight year) His cheeks get red when Jack bends down, leather clad ass showing off.

At one point, Jack calls him over. “Hey cowboy, come here for a second.”

Clay does and Jack hands him a tube of black lipstick. “Help me put this on. It’s hard for me do it with the blades.” Clay nods and takes it. Jack puckers his lips a bit as Clay applies the makeup.

“Thanks.” Jack says with a flirtatious smile and goes to walk away.

“Wait, your lipstick.”

“Keep it.” Jack says with a wink. Clay stares at the lipstick in his hand and then back at Jack’s leather covered ass.
