The ultimate force of evil in all of the galaxy! The terrifying tyrant, Emperor Zurg, is unwavering in his quest to destroy his hated arch nemesis, Buzz Lightyear!

Emperor Zurg was a toy created to act as an adversary for the Buzz Lightyear action toy line. When the children who own these dolls are not looking, the toys come to life and often act out the traits and behaviors they were designed for. As such, Zurg is always looking for a means of ruthlessly dispatching Buzz and all who stand in his way.

Actor Andrew Stanton provided the voice for Zurg, with the villainous toy first appearing in the 2009 animated feature Toy Story 2.
