I love them too, I'm thinking of having them as a big brother/little brother duo maybe?? Anyway here's them buying tea for the base like stereotypical Brits

Ok first time I read this my heart melted because it's so sweet :]

I keep thinking up aus for mw2, but they're all too complicated for a one-off comic, and I just finished a series so I'm not doing another one for the time being. But I had a superpower au for them, that I'm gonna explain under a read more because I know it's gonna be long lmao

But before that thank you for everyone again! I read all your lovely comments and they warm my heart <333

SO in this au, some people gain powers the first time they die. The powers are based on how they died (also when they die they meet these cool eldritch beings called reapers that have a little chat with them to decide if they're worthy of those powers).

Soap died from an explosion. Got blown out of a building. So his powers are explosion resistance and creation. His fingertips are always on fire because he's practically blowing the air around them all the time.

Gaz fell off a helicopter :( so now he can manipulate gravity, either objects around him or himself. He also floats a few inches off the ground most times.

Price was kinda hard for me to decide but I ended up making him die by abandonment. Now he can telepathically communicate with people.

And Ghost... he died in that coffin. Got pulled out by a reaper and received the powers to control limbo, the space between life and death. He's not authorized to use them unless he's alone, so he gets sent on solo missions only, until Price recruits him to the 141.

That is, until he pairs up with Ghost.

Before being recruited to the 141, Soap mainly defused bombs. Since, even if it's too late, he won't die. Thing is, Soap still gets hurt. His bones get crushed, his heart stops, his limbs get torn apart. He does heal, but the worse the injury, the longer it takes.

That made him kinda depressed. Because he felt like a glorified bomb robot. Except he's cheaper, since it doesn't cost the military any money when he fails to defuse on time.

Ghost isn't immune to bombs. He himself doesn't enter limbo, since that traps anything alive.

He and Soap go on a mission where intel suggests the enemy has rigged various explosives around the intel they need. They split up, Soap goes to defuse them and Ghost slowly makes his way through the facility.

And Ghost does help him. But he treats him like he would a regular, non-powered human. Stops when he's in too much pain, encourages him through it. Does his best to stop the bleeding.

Ghost completes his objective, but Soap gets spotted by an enemy and detonates the bomb he's working on to save himself.

Ghost find Soap after he fails to sitrep, impaled by a rebar. He whimpers and begs Ghost to help him off it, since he can't heal.

Because Ghost sees him as human. He watched as Soap kept trying to make jokes with him, but more importantly, how he treated him no differently from anyone else.

Soap, for his side, isn't used to that... gentleness. And that's how his interest in Ghost begins.

They exfil and return to base. A few months pass, and Ghost keeps an eye on one Soap MacTavish. Looks through his medical records, past missions. Finds out just how much he suffers through.

But Ghost isn't his commending officer, so he can't do anything. Until he's approached by his captain, John Price. He brings up the option of adding a new member to the taskforce. He gives Ghost the candidates he considered, Soap was brought up, Ghost stops him and states that he would agree to a new member if it was Soap.

Now if I had like, better writing abilities I would have absolutely written this as a fic. Butttt I don't and even if I did, I don't have confidence in them so I won't. But this idea is now out there and you can do whatever you want with it.

Also I got like a lot more sketches of this au but I only posted the ones I made for the ask.

AU where Zane Ninjago is the previous master of ice. like when he transferred his elemental powers over he also transferred his soul and he low-key reincarnated into this robo-body. cool beans. this means there's the potential of Zane starting to glimpse bits and pieces of past and not knowing why he can see it. the things master Wu talks about--why can he see them as if he were there?--he feels like he has experienced personally. give Zane a whole other crisis on top of after he finds out he's a nindriod not a human. this also means Zane in old clothes and styles from Master Wu's time whenever he has flashbacks which is a neat visual. like heck you could have someone other than Wu have previous villains that show up! you could balance that out a bit! Master of Ice's previous nemesis shows up ready to throw down when they discover he's technically still alive but also not. Zane questioning if this is his life at all. if he's Zane or someone else. If he was Zane before or if he was nothing. If he's Zane now or if he never was to begin with

Parksborn werewoof AU

Pete is very grey wolf-ish & often appears as an anthro “wolf man” as opposed to a full wolf. He has increased physical strength & speed n seems to have boosted healing n senses

Where he can normally transform at will- on full moons & new moons he has a hard time not being a full wolf. (New moons are worse then full moons)

His silly full wolf form is an absolute BEHEMOTH of a feral wolf & is considerably tougher then his half form. Though it obviously has its downsides, a lack of opposable thumbs is rough 💀 + it comes with a unique & wolfish set of anger issues n behavior

Either way, big silly boy is a sweetheart. His heterochromia still shines through in wolf form & has created a mixed review on sightings in NYC. There are totally online forums n debates dedicated to discussing his physical appearance- his eye color being a big argumentative piece

OWDNWKDNWKD IM CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO TBH.... but really its just about hunting down the right resources and doing a lot of cross-referencing for me!!! I really enjoy learning new stuff and highly value accuracy so i have a lot of fun fishing for scientific papers and going on research binges for information i can use in a story-- sometimes it takes a minute to sift through the academic language so i can understand what its saying, but usually i can get the gist of what im reading, which helps a lot when i start cross-referencing with more layman-friendly articles :]

#shouting speaks #asks #idk how extensive i'd call my research binges but they usually last abt 2-4 hrs whenever im really invested in smth #i know that au where i started researching different ways to make tattoo ink took a solid THREE DAYS tho that info was hard to find 😭😭😭#tbh the cross-referencing is v important to me bc there can be conflicting information out there #so i like to cast a really wide net at first and take notes on whats generally represented in all of the papers and articles i peruse #and then start really narrowing my searches to specific pieces of info #and then kinda piece the picture together with a variety of different sources #altho sometimes i have personal experience with stuff so i can just add my own knowledge to the mix skfnwkdjwkdj #random fun fact!!! ive watched cataract and ent surgeries before!!! you'd be surprised at how useful the info from that is #txt

Thinking about Walt and Jimmy & Mike's journey towards evil and do feel they are very different. Walt is a mostly standard good guy to worst person alive arc. He starts out mostly a good person. And then he does more and more evil, greedy, horrible acts. By season 4 he is fully Heisenberg. Jimmy and Mike on the otherhand are former criminals when BCS starts, they have been for a long time and have both come to ABQ to try live different lives. Jimmy and Mike both try to avoid more crime, not that they are very good at it, but they try their hardest. Walt run towards Heisenberg with the speed of light while Jimmy & Mike are dragged across the floor with their nails scratching it. They try to hold on to their souls for almost the entire series before they finally give up near the end of season 6. Jimmy when Howard dies & Kim leaves and Mike he meets Nachos Father. This is a very long way to say that I feel the difference is that Walt gets corrupted, he changes for the worse while Jimmy & Mike however decays. They live through horrible after horible experiences that hacks away parts of them until there is nothing left but shells. They dont really changes, they become less than they are. Their souls rots away. They decay back to their old self only this time a thousands times worse.
