Do you have any headcanons for little Mick and caregiver Seb perhaps?
Ive never written this paring before, but I love them both so much, Im def going to write more of them in the future
Little Mick + Caregiver Seb !
Bike hangouts are a common activity, sometimes its short, sometimes its long, but they always go together
Seb definitely caries basic necessities with him at all times (things such as pacifier, bandaids, disinfectant)
Mick is shier than most littles, both when it comes to talking about is feelings and asking for things, so sebastian alwasy offers stuff or ask (also encourages mick to ask for whaetver he may need and talk about his feelings)
Mick has bought every sigle item in sebastians merch shop, multiple times. Its mostly what he wears when hes little- his favorite is the "save the bees" shirt
Because sebastians noticed thats his favortie shirt, he got a custom plushie matching the shirt which mick refuses to let go of

Little!Mick on the day of sebs last race is gonna be an absolute wreck!! He’s gonna wanna show his support and be proud of sebs achievements (because he’s a perfect good boy who first and foremost loves his daddy) but at the same time he’s gonna be so sad at the thought of not being able to race with Seb again 😭 maybe another one of the drivers finds Mick trying to stop crying and can tell he’s slipping so looks after him until he can go to Seb….. or maybe kimi is there for the last race and he’s the one to go find mick…….. -🐬 (sorry for the angst & mentioning the r word hehehe)
Why do you have to do this to me?? I???
Little Mick acts tough but he is a very fragile boy and very emotionally dependant on his caregiver.
I think he would try not to slip for a while after he learned that Seb is retiring at the end of the season because he cannot anticipate his little self’s reaction to this news. He is terrified of guilting Seb regarding the decision because he also knows it is in his best interest to retire. However, holding back in this very emotional state is getting very hard for him and he finds himself slipping a little after putting on a brave and mature face when he is with Seb in public.
Seb is very aware of this situation but is trying to give Mick space to digest the news and doesn’t encourage him to drop like he usually does. Also, they are very lost in their own responsibilities and maybe cannot make time to see each other.
Kimi’s visit during Monza weekend makes it a little easier for Mick but he still refuses to drop because since everything is busy, they don’t get any free time where he, Seb and Kimi can be together. He doesn’t want to be a crybaby to Kimi, either, because he believes that his isä might not be able to handle his emotional turmoil.
Until Singapore, Mick manages to stay calm but after the race, something in him comes undone and he finds himself slipping in his motorhome. He quickly locks himself into his driver’s room when he realises he is slipping and plans to stay there until he feels better or they kick him out. Deep down, he hopes Seb will come to look for him and makes this sinking feeling in his chest go away with his smile and a warm hug.
Seb, who is celebrating his points finish, doesn’t realise Mick is missing and doesn’t go look for him initially. After all, Mick has been showing great control over his little space for the past month and he is pretty much sure that he would let him know if he needs him. However, there is a little sparkle of doubt in him that says that Mick might also be playing the easy child to not burden him with how he is taking the news of his retirement. Still, he decides to put his money on adult Mick’s self-regulatory capabilities, which is a big mistake.
In the end, it is Este who finds Mick. Deflated with the DNF, he wanders around the paddock and decides to hang out with Mick for a while before they all call it a day and return to their hotels. The locked door of Mick’s driver's room shoots anxiety in Este’s body because he knows how fragile Mick has been for the past month since Mick talks more to Este about his concerns and sadness. Honestly, it seems normal for Mick to open up to a peer who is not his caregiver because he gets to receive support without feeling like a burden.
Este knocks gently and then vigorously on the door until he hears feet shuffling on the other side. Mick opens the door only a crack but even from a fragment of his face, Este can tell that he has been crying since the post-race briefing. Este sort of shoves himself in before Mick can say anything. The room is in a state of chaos, spare clothes scattered around and an army of plushies on the small makeshift bed, circling a Mick-shaped space.
Mick doesn’t say anything because he is afraid that he might not be able to stop himself from baby talking, maybe in German and just softly sobs. Este, being very close to Mick, knows that he slips but since he never slipped while he is around, he understands why Mick is very shy about their current situation. He gently herds Mick back to his spot surrounded by his plushies and takes his phone out to call Seb. Normally, Mick would protest and try to stop him from interrupting Seb’s celebration but he is too far gone in his state of self-pity that he doesn’t register what Este is doing.
Thankfully, Seb picks up and promises that he is going to be there as soon as he can. Este lets out a sigh of relief because honestly, he doesn’t know what to do with a very angsty little Mick on his own. He quietly makes his exit following Seb’s arrival to give the two some space.
Seeing Seb with a very concerned look on his face does something to little Mick and he uncharacteristically bursts into tears. Seb, initially very confused, makes his way to where Mick is snuggled up with his plushies and throws his arms around his little baby. Since he doesn’t see retirement as a big issue, he doesn’t register the cause of all of this immediately but still holds Mick tightly.
“What is wrong Micki? Talk to me, please!”
Mick tries to hold his head up to explain himself between sobs but he immediately fails and falls into another sobbing fit. The sight breaks Seb’s heart into million pieces but he knows he needs to stay calm and collected for his little Micki.
“You… You are gonna leave me… Like isä did!”
Seb freezes with the realisation for a second and goes stiff around Mick. This makes Mick sob even harder.
“Micki, what are you talking about? I am not leaving you, and neither is isä!”
Mick sniffles for a second between his sobs.
“But you will! And isä already left me… Now papa will too! And Micki will be all alone!”
At that moment, Seb regrets everything. Yes, he wants to leave this toxic environment. Yes, he doesn’t like to be in an uncompetitive car but is it worth it? Is it worth making his little Micki cry like this even for a second?
“Oh my little baby, it’s all going to be fine! Papa and isä will be with you all the time! We will make the time for you. You’ll never feel alone.”
Mick doesn’t seem to hear him and keeps crying to the crook of his neck for a while and Seb keeps gently rocking him. After all, there is nothing more important than his little Micki and he is already plotting ways to rescue Mick between weekends and kidnap him to Switzerland as often as possible. Or to the US to see isä racing. He knows it won’t be as easy but it is worth trying for the little boy in his arms who also happens to be the light of their life.

2022
At a very young age I discovered that love is an illusion that, sooner or later, disappears without saying goodbye. It's just a mirage that shows how false it is when you get closer. I never understood how love can outweigh common sense and passion override logic, and how it's so disconcerting that no one else really knows how you feel when the only person you can trust with your back is to yourself, always. That's why when my intuition told me to send my resume to Mercedes, the Formula 1 team, without having any idea about the sport, I listened to it. Even when that didn't make the slightest sense.
I check my reflection in the mirror of the narrow bathroom in the Mercedes garage before heading back outside. There is a dress code that we must comply with when we come to the paddock. According to Mr. Wolff, we are the face behind the drivers, even when I am not involved in any way with them or the cars.
The clicking of my heels against the floor catches the attention of several of those present there, who turn to look at me strangely. The only ones I had had the opportunity to meet were the pilots and a few engineers who from time to time had meetings with Toto that I had to take care of.
"Mr. Wolff, I'm sorry to interrupt," I say in a strong voice, drawing the attention of the Austrian and the man I was with, who I believe is called Bono.
“Victoria, no problem. What's happening?” he crosses his arms and waits impatiently for what I want to say. The first warning I got as soon as I started working here was that Toto would try to intimidate me to prove what I'm made of, but he has no idea who he messed with.
“Interview with Sky Sports on 10,” notice, “with Webber and Chadwick,” pats the man's shoulder in farewell and tells me to follow him.
"Okay, this is what I want you to do today," he says as we leave the tent. “When you're in the garage, keep an eye on Roscoe…”
“Hamilton 's dog?”
“Yes, you have to take care of him. Besides…”
“With all due respect, I wasn't hired to be a babysitter, sir. I sort papers, schedule and remember appointments, I'll even bring coffee, but, as much as I love animals, I'm not anyone's caregiver.”
"It seems fair to me," my boss exclaims. “And you can tell me Toto, Victoria, that we are going to be together too long not to call each other by our names.”
"Of course, Toto," I say forcefully.
“Now, bring me a coffee like the usual ones for when the interview is over,” I look at him waiting for him to say what I want to hear and he seems to understand it. “Please.”
I walk away from the Austrian to look for wherever they sell coffee here.
I started working with Toto as soon as the year started, so we haven't been around for long. During pre-season I stayed at the England base because I was "not ready" to go to the paddock, as it seems I am now.
"Excuse me," I caught the attention of a girl who was walking around. “Do you know where I can buy coffee?”
"I'm looking for exactly the same thing as you," she tells me. “I've never been here.”
“Yeah, me neither, but my boss sent me to buy him coffee,” we started walking together almost without realizing it, so I guess we would look for it together.
“Your boss? Do you work here?”
“Yes, I am the assistant to the Director of Mercedes.”
“You are Toto's assistant!” she exclaims as if he had discovered the most interesting thing in the world.
“Are you a fan?”
“No, it's just... let's say I'm dating one of the pilots.”
“Oh, you're a wag.”
“No, my God! I hate when they say that. Besides, Sebastian and I are taking it slow,” Sebastian, Sebastian, Sebastian, which one was Sebastian?
“Sebastian... Vettel?" Fortune teller.
“Yes, exactly! By the way, I'm Alessia,” she introduced herself. “I'm already talking to you about my relationship and I don't even know your name,” I giggled at how nervous she had become and introduced myself as well.
“I am Victoria.”
“You are Spanish,” Alessia notes. “I like the accent. I am italian.”
“Oh, that's great.”
"Yes... I'm trying to learn Spanish," she says with excitement.
"I can help you if you need it," I offer.
When I left Spain, I left everything.
Friends, family, acquaintances, customs. It wouldn't hurt to have someone to talk to, someone who is in a similar situation to mine.
“Oh really!? I'd love to. Let's do this,” she says, taking her phone out of her bag, “save my number. We can go out if you want,” she smiles shyly at me and I nod. “There's Seb. Come let me introduce him to you.”
"Alessia, it's not necessary," I say as she drags me towards her boyfriend and his friend, whom I recognize from several advertisements they show on Spanish television.
His gaze crossed with mine and I didn't need words because I saw it all there.
Fernando Alonso
An idiot, a womanizer, who thinks he is better than anyone else just because he won two championships and because the national press idolizes him as if he were some kind of God.
I know I said I don't know things about sports but I don't live under a rock either.
Also, it's not the first time I've seen him. A few years ago, my ex-boyfriend and I went to a club where famous people used to go, to see if we could meet someone and, indeed, we did. Fernando Alonso with his hand under a girl's skirt in the middle of the dance floor.
A very good first impression.
"Mein Leben," the German exclaims when Alessia enters his field of vision and she laughs like a teenager in love.
“Vita mia,” greets the Italian. “This is Victoria,” she introduces me. “She is Toto's new assistant”
Sebastian barely looks at me when Ale greets me. He can't take his eyes off Alessia, who keeps talking about how we met by chance looking for coffee. The love in the blonde's eyes is evident, idyllic and I would even dare to say nostalgic. It looks real.
“The coffee shop is over there,” Alonso comes in, who doesn't take his eyes off me. “I'm Fernando,” he introduces himself.
“I know.”
“You are Spanish. A sports fan I guess," he says in a humorous tone.
“I can't be further away.”
"Wow, that's good too," he laughs nervously. He definitely wasn't expecting that answer.
"Alessia, I have to go," I warn her. “If when the interview ends, Toto doesn't have his coffee, he's going to get annoyed.”
"No, wait," the brunette man stops me.
“What's happening?” I ask confused.
“I…” he tries to find the right words while his hazel eyes merge with mine, as if he were looking for what he can't say in them, “nothing. I hope you find your coffee.”
[...]
I see Victoria go towards where I had pointed a few minutes ago wanting to go after her.
"You two have to help me," I ask the couple.
“To what?” asks my friend.
“Do you believe in love at first sight?” I question before agreeing with them.
“No.”
“It's stupid,” supports Alessia.
"I didn't believe in it either," I admit, "but I just fell in love with Victoria.”

Little mick when he gets found out that he’s hurt/sad after he’s tried to find it , he gets SO upset because he thinks he’s been a bad boy and his caregivers have to reassure him that it’s okay and he’s not a burden or a bad boy at all
Okay, some little Mick for self-care!
Little Mick insists on playing on his own in the garden against Seb’s protests and he is so proud to be able to play without supervision! Also, he knows Seb has chores to do and he doesn’t want to be disruptive just because he wanted to play.
What he doesn’t know is Seb forced Kimi to sit in front of the window to keep an eye on him because of course he does! Kimi rolls his eyes but sees the merit in the precaution because the last couple of times Mick got hurt, they figured it out way later than they are comfortable with.
Mick is playing peacefully with his toy cars and Kimi is reading the morning paper, checking on him every now and then. All of a sudden, Kimi hears a muffled grunt and drops the paper immediately. Here he is, little Mick, seems to have tripped over something and fallen flat on his face.
Mick barely registers that he got hurt when he saw the blood dripping in front of him. He panics and tries to wipe it with his t-shirt and blood starts dripping on his t-shirt this time. His nose is hurting but what he is more concerned with is that his papa and isä are going to be mad at him. He is also afraid that they will never let him play on his own again. With these concerns, poor little Mick tries to clean his face with his dinosaur print t-shirt (obviously making a bigger mess in the process) when Kimi runs to him.
Mick is very upset and embarrassed when Kimi picks him up off the floor but he doesn’t start crying.
“Are you okay, little man?” Kimi is trying not to scare him by not reacting too much.
Poor little Mick tries to put on a little smile and nods.
“Yes, isä, I was just playing. Can I keep playing?”
Little beads of tears are forming in the corners of his eyes due to pain on his face at this point and Seb chooses that exact moment to barge into the scene.
“Oh mein Gott, Micki, what happened to you??”
Leave it to Seb to escalate a situation that was perfectly under control, thinks Kimi, semi-affectionately. Little Mick starts crying almost immediately.
“Sorry papa, sorry isä, I was trying to be a big boy but I messed it up.”
Seb’s face, twisted with concern, softens at this confession and cups little Mick’s face.
“It’s alright, sunshine, let’s clean you up!”
Seb gestures Kimi to carry Mick inside. Mick is still mumbling something.
“I cannot hear you, love, use your words.”
“I am sorry papa, I can clean up, you and isä don’t have to worry! I can fix me!”
Mick always finds a way to wrench their hearts like this. Kimi responds with the softest voice he is capable of.
“It’s alright, tiger, we are here to take care of you, you are not a burden to us!”
Little Mick goes silent after this but cheers up easily when Seb and Kimi plant kisses all over his face after wiping him clean and changing him. Seb also gives him a “magic potion” (painkiller) to make him feel better and little Mick sleeps soundly on the couch, cuddled up to Kimi for the rest of the day.

Yes yes yes to everything about little!Mick!! The most precious baby boy! Please do share your caregiver!Simi headcanon with us👀
Okay so here is what I think about caregiver!Simi with little!Mick
Seb is the one who fusses over Mick all the time while Kimi is the more laid-back one. Not that he doesn’t care but, as I said, he has a more straightforward approach to caregiving.
Seb is, unfortunately, unable to pick little Mick up but Kimi is, so when it’s bedtime or Mick passes out on the couch, Kimi carries him to bed.
I want to imagine Simi being a romantic couple here because it’s incredibly cute ??
And little Mick giggles like crazy when he sees them kiss??? And they pull Mick to kiss his little cute cheeks in response?? My heart??
Little Mick is very VERY distressed when Kimi retires because he cannot have both his papa and isä with him at all times? (I am not going to talk about Seb retiring too because we all know it would completely break little Mick)
At some point papa and isä let Mick sleep between them. So he comes to their bedroom. Every night. Seb cannot say no to Mick and Kimi cannot stand Mick and Seb being sad so they sleep as a happy big bundle!
Kimi gives little Mick piggyback rides around the house when he is upset to distract him.
When he falls and gets a boo-boo, he tries to hide it from them but they never miss his little teary-eyed face. His face is covered in kisses and papa even kisses his boo-boo to make it better!
Little Mick makes Christmas cards for his papa and isä? Him putting so much time into that? Him nearly having a breakdown because he is not sure if they are perfect?
Kimi loves to tickle little Mick but Seb hates it because he is afraid that it is going to make Mick uncomfy. Kimi still tickles Mick when Seb is not around.
