"Afterlife... Oh my god what an awful word."

It's already February 24 here and this means it has been six years since Harold Ramis passed away, I always remember that day as one of my worst days of my life, since I didn't know he was ill at that time and 2014 was the worst year for me at least.

Since the new movie is called "Afterlife" and I wanted to make a small gift based on Arcade Fire's song of the same name, I made this pic in his honour. As someone who faced grief and near death experiences, I think the quote I used defines what afterlife means. It's an awful word, since you don't know what exactly happens after you die.

This last month in my country Peru, we experienced one of the worst acts of corruption, cop abuse, and violence by our now ex-president by fact (aka. dictator) Manuel Merino. In these protests we lost two heroes that wanted to protect our laws.

Not because of Vizcarra's lost of charge but because we're dealing with a pandemic, an economic and political crisis. Corrupt or not, our laws didn't allow him to be taken out by force. Our congress did, because they're followers of different presidents that did always more damage than good like Alan Garcia, Alberto Fujimori, Alejandro Toledo and the list goes on.

We lost two boys, Jack Bryan Pintado and Inti Sotello. Now known as the "Bicentennial heroes" considering how they tried to protect others during the protests. And how they both wanted a better future for their family and country.

Inti's name means "Sun" in quechua. And considering he was and is one of the most adored gods in our andean religion, it's not difficult to imagine how it'd be his rage towards all this situation. Inti is our sun now, for a better future, and our guidance. We didn't want him to die, but we owe him everything and will always do.

You know, I never liked school, not because I think I should del nothing and waste my life in party and drugs. But considering how it fucked me up mentally and drained my brain, body plus some trauma into the mix

Whoever has the chance to be self taught because they want to and they're not pushed or forced to be somewhere that makes you feel anxious then consider yourself lucky
