Was woken up this morning when this barrelled off my headboard, ricocheted over my face and bolted. Was yelling and bleeding before I woke all the way up. Didn't even give them pause while they crashed into the rest of the furniture and upended the waste basket.

I'm going to sell these yahoos to the mole people.

Méka ignored them to pad after me while I treated my face with Dettol, twining herself about my ankles and meowing with what seemed like concern. But turned out she just wanted her breakfast. Or was concerned about both me and breakfast. They might not be mutually exclusive to a cat.

Otoh, they have zoomies because the morning is blessedly cool for the first time in weeks. I'm so glad not to wake up already overheated and sweating that I'm full of magnanimity and goodwill even with half my face stinging. Not that they weren't forgiven pathetically quickly. Mfers are infuriatingly cute even when they're wreaking havoc and mayhem.

(I'm okay. It was only a little scratch but ears really do bleed a lot)

My little toasted marshmallow aka Lily the kitty has an UTI now she is on antibiotics that we came back from the vet across town, because our normal vet is triple booked and only has two doctors.

It is both excruciatingly cute and slightly annoying at the same. 🥺

Dropped my "Binky-Baby" Thackery Binx off for his neuter and chip this morning and it does not get any easier making this trip and leaving them. He is the last of my 3 boys *unless I can convince my husband otherwise* and even knowing what to expect doesn't help because HE doesn't know what to expect. He has no idea why he spent 12 hours alone without food or water in the bathroom and why he got left behind at a strange place. I sent him with the shirt I slept in so he had my scent, and all his favorite toys. We should be able to pick him back up today but I just hate not being able to explain why things are happening so they aren't scared 😭

I have 2 kittens and a senior cat. I need to start giving the senior different food to help her gain some weight. If I try to feed her separately from the kittens, it ends up a big fight with the kittens trying to steal her food no matter where I feed her. Does anyone have any tips?

Cat Mayhem Night

I tried to give M the Cat subcutaneous fluids tonight because he just looked off.  He was NOT having it.  Various surfaces in the bathroom are now bathed in saline because he would NOT hold still.  We only got about half a dose in, but hopefully he will be more cooperative in the morning.  

I was not a very patient Cat Mom because needles and wiggly kitties usually lead to humans getting needlesticks.  So I got a little loud and frustrated.  Then I came downstairs in time to see N the Cat puking.  

Thanks kitties.  I’m feeling the love tonight.  If either one of you wakes me up to puke on me there will be CONSEQUENCES.
