Benefits of Good Quality Food Meat and Potatoes
Cats are carnivores they draw most of their essential nutritional needs from meat and the nutrients which are easy for them to digest if there are too much plant matter cat’s digestive system does not produce the enzymes necessary to properly process or digest plant matter this can cause obesity, pancreatitis, and arthritic limbs certainly as cats age, when there is too much plant-based carbohydrates.
Potatoes are a staple crop that contain wholesome properties like protein, potassium, b and c vitamins, carbohydrates, and fibre when the correct quantity is put with meat in good quality cat food this keeps a cat healthy.
If a cat has cooked potatoes with oil salt and other ingredients like additives such as French fries this can be difficult for them to digest although cats can benefit from the occasional potato. If a cat is suffering from constipation the fibre content of a potato or sweet potato can help move things along.
With so many brands it is difficult to know if you are getting the correct nutritionally balanced diet when a body gets the correct vitamins, they are unlikely to eat as much since they will feel full.
Key nutrients your cats’ body is roughly 80% water so proper hydration is a matter of significant importance when you take dry food it contains 10% moisture where canned food contains 80% water content.
Protein from meat is needed for muscle growth and tissue repair, which also provides three essential nutrients for optimal health, taurine for vision and heart, arachidonic acid for skin and coat health and vitamin A for vision and coat. Great sources are Chicken, lamb, beef, organ meat and fish. These essential fatty acids provide cats with fuel alongside with vital protection and insulation for internal organs. Carbohydrates provide a source of energy promoting digestive health and normal intestinal function. Minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, and copper are all essential for your cat’s teeth and bones. Too much or too little can have serious repercussions. Vitamin’s fat soluble A D E K and water-soluble Vitamins C and B promote normal vision, growth, wound healing, healthy coat, skin, and optimal nervous system. These compounds are involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.
A cat benefits from having a balanced dry and wet food and some fresh homemade food animals enjoy variety in their diet.

Understand Your Cat : Cats, known for their mysterious and unpredictable nature, often leave their owners wondering about their thoughts and feelings. But fear not! By learning the language of cats, you can develop a deeper understanding and forge a stronger bond with your feline friend. In this article, we'll explore five key ways to decipher your cat's behavior and enhance your communication skills. Let's dive in! 1. The Tale Of The Tail The Tale Of The Tail Next Cats communicate a wealth of emotions through their tails, making it essential for us to decipher their "tail language." A raised and curled tail is a telltale sign of a contented cat, indicating their happiness and satisfaction. On the other hand, occasional twitches in the tail can indicate excitement or worry, signaling a heightened state of arousal. To truly understand your cat's mood, pay close attention to the position, fluffiness, and vibrations of their tail. By decoding their tail signals, you can gain valuable insights into your feline companion's emotional state and provide them with the appropriate care and attention they need. Next 2. The Window To Their Soul The Window To Their Soul Prev Next A cat's eyes offer a window into their emotions and thoughts, providing a fascinating glimpse into their inner world. Dilated pupils can convey a range of feelings, such as playfulness, agitation, fear, or aggression. A direct gaze from your cat signifies trust and a willingness to connect with you. When your cat slowly blinks, it is a sign of relaxation, indicating a sense of calm and security in your presence. By carefully observing your cat's eye movements, you can gain insights into their comfort level, deepen your understanding of their needs, and foster a stronger bond between you and your feline companion. Prev Next 3. Expressions Of Affection Expressions Of Affection Prev Next Cats have a unique repertoire of affectionate gestures that they use to show their love and claim you as their own. When a cat rubs against you, it is marking you as part of their territory, a sign of trust and ownership. They may also express their friendliness by rubbing their head, side, or tail against you as a way of saying hello. By reciprocating these gestures and offering gentle affection in return, you can reinforce the bond of trust with your cat and deepen your connection. These subtle expressions of affection are an essential part of building a strong and loving relationship with your feline companion. Prev Next 4. Decoding Other Gestures Decoding Other Gestures Prev Next In addition to tail and eye language, cats communicate through a range of body postures that convey important messages. Observing the positioning of their ears is crucial, as flattened ears can indicate fear or playfulness depending on the context. If a cat sticks out its tongue slightly, it may be a sign of worry or anxiety. By understanding and interpreting these subtle cues, you can respond appropriately to your cat's needs and provide comfort when necessary. Developing the ability to decode these gestures will enhance your understanding of your feline companion's emotional state and strengthen your bond with them. Prev Next 5. Speaking Cat Language Speaking Cat Language Prev Cats possess a distinct language of their own when it comes to vocalizations, allowing them to express their needs and desires. Lengthy meows are a joyful welcome when you return, while medium-length meows often signal hunger or thirst. A combination of purring and meowing indicates a more urgent request, while a low meow may express dissatisfaction or complaint. By becoming familiar with these vocal cues, you can better understand your cat's needs and effectively communicate with them. Strengthening this communication will foster a closer bond and enable you to provide the necessary care and attention your feline companion requires.

ANGRY CAT SOUNDS
What are some angry cat sounds, and what do they mean in cat language? However, ought we tend to, as cat folks react to those angry cat sounds?
Tumblr media
Cats are dangerous companions for writers because cat-watching is a near-perfect method of writing avoidance.
-Dan Greenburg
The other day I used to be creating breakfast after I detected a well-known sound coming back from the front room — a low-pitched grumble, not in contrast to the sound a monster makes in a very horror flick. The sound quickly escalated to a yowl, followed by claws scraping on the wood floor. I had not, in fact, accidentally raised an ancient associate ghoul — it absolutely was simply my young cat, Salvypoo, "playing" with my cranky previous calico, Phoenix; World Health Organization was utilizing some angry cat sounds to specify her vexation along with her active relation.
While not as pleasant as a delicate purr or associate inquisitive meow, associated cat sounds are  clear and necessary means your kitty communicates. Recognizing once your cat is associated and being responsive to why it happens can assist you in grasping once she wants time to decompress — and should forestall you from an accidental scratch or cat bite injury.
Angry Cat Sounds - Growling Means Back Of
Tumblr media
No matter how much cats fight, there always seem to be plenty of kittens.
-Abraham Lincoln
Growling is usually the primary sounding clue that your cat is angry. Once Phoenix gets mad, she initially communicates with visual communication — ears down, eyes wide, tail flailing from facet to facet. Then comes the growl, beginning as a low-pitched grumble like angry oleomargarine Simpson and quickly building to a yowl if, no matter what is ticking her off, she doesn't back the euphemism off.
For many cats, growling is a warning noise that stems from annoyance, anger, aggression, or concern. If your cat is growling, it's in all probability informed to take a breather before attempting to pet her or choose her up to calm her down.
Angry Cat Sounds - Growls Are Typically In The Course Of Angry Meows
Growling typically occurs during associate angry meow, which looks like a daily meow stuffed with gravel and steroids. The angry meow may be used as a sort of exclamation mark, punctuating the growl as if to mention, "And I mean it." once the meow becomes high-pitched and multisyllabic, that indicates the cat is very stressed.
Angry Cat Sounds - Hissing Means Back Off, For Real
Tumblr media
Cats are intended to teach us that not everything in nature has a function.
-Garrison Keillor
Cats will hiss for legion reasons; however, if your cat is hissing as a result of her being angry, it's just about the equivalent of you spewing a stream of curse words at the jerk World Health Organization simply cut you off in rush-hour traffic — that's, your kitty is creating this sound as a result of she's darn mad, or a lot of probably some combination of confused pissed off and afraid. Hissing could be a cat's instinctual response to one thing he perceives as a threat that may be as daunting as a shot-wielding doctor or as mundane as another pet scooting too on the point of him on the couch.
In any case, hissing is among the angry cat sounds that warn. Basically, it's the feline equivalent of a finger, which means this angry cat is prepared to fight. Once Phoenix hisses, a swipe of her paw with claws will follow. Don't approach a hissing cat. Instead, it's best to offer him some house until he calms down and feels safe.
Angry Cat Visual Communication
In addition to angry cat looks like hisses, growls, and angry meows, you'll be able to tell your cat is mad by listening to her visual communication. I'll use Phoenix as an associate example. Once calm, she's the sweetest kitty in the world — terribly light, inquisitive, and loving. I even have a nine-month-old son, and he or she can let him a pet and squeeze her with no hint of annoyance. Throughout these interactions, her ears are upright, her eyes are squinted in a very "smile," and her tail is either raised or flicking nonchalantly from facet to facet. If she vocalizes, it's probably associated with insistent meow mendicancy for many chin scratchies.
When Salvypoo playfully attacks her, Phoenix's visual communication entirely changes. Her ears flatten against her head, her pupils dilate, her shoulders hunch and her tail twitches violently – or puffs up if she's particularly angry or afraid. She additionally reacts in this fashion to the household appliance.
How Must You Reply To Angry Cat Sounds?
When managing an angry associate cat, it's perpetually higher to be safe than sorry. once vulnerable, cats are running on vasoconstrictor and instinct, which implies anyone — even a secure, acquainted cat parent — is probably going to induce separation if they approach. Your best move is solely to steer away. If potential, leave the space — or enable the cat to go away from the space and retreat somewhere quiet, far from no matter what she perceives to be the threat.
Never penalize a cat for being angry. Instead, provide your kitty a while to chill down, and rather than approaching your cat, stay up for her to return to you. Before you recognize it, she'll be coiled, purring in your lap, creating abundant friendlier sounds.

Happy Giving Tuesday Now and Cinco de Mayo! 🎉 The rescue I helped start is named @unitedpawsrescueinc Donations can be made to: [email protected] or to our FB fundraiser. Please share or tag to help as well. We are a tiny rescue- just a small collection of volunteers. Despite our small size, we have always tried to go above and beyond to save as many kitties as possible. We have always gone for the underdogs, the less desirable ones with little to no chance. We save the FIV, FELV, blind, senior, injured, and overall medically or behaviorally needy kitties. If you have followed our page over the past few months, you’ll know that many of our kitties we have saved off the euthanasia list with only “behavior” issues have turned into kitties needing help with severe eye issues, leg amputations, larynx surgery, and more. Even when we don’t have the funds available, we do NOT give up on kitties once they are in our care- we do everything we possibly can to get them better. Once they are better, we work tirelessly to find them the perfect home- even if that means flying them to another state if that’s where their perfect home is. Currently, we are thousands of dollars in debt from these kitties we have saved. Our goal for this #GivingTuesdayNow is to pay off our debt, as well as hopefully get a little left over so that we can continue to save cats like these. No amount donated is too small, every little bit helps toward the kitties! On @unitedpawsrescueinc FB page there are more pics and info. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐈❤️ - - - #shareyourheart #givingtuesdaynow #givingbacktothecommunity #catrescue #catsofig #catsofinstagram #givingtuesday #givingtuesdaymeow #yarn #cattoy #helpingothers #ittakesavillage #crystalcommunity #catcommunity #donate #ocassurvivor #greeneyes #specialneedscats #medicallycomplex #tabbycat #tabbycats #tabbycatsofinstagram #tabbycatworlddomination #helpinghands #helpingcats #ellendegeneres #taylorswift #meow #handsofspirit https://www.instagram.com/p/B_z_eM4nXbD/?igshid=5msks6a7gx1g
