It is kinda a ritual that I do for the Cinci Comic Expo. Sunday is the day I do an obscure character that no one has done a lot of locally. I was watching some old A-Team episodes and I was like you know what I'm going for it and actually shaved my head for it. The beard was hand placed so many asked how did it grow a beard overnight after having a full head of hair Saturday. Some folks did not even recognize me!

There were a few congoers that wanted me to talk in the Mr. T voice and I did and they were amazed how spot on I was with it. I did have a Mad Dog Murdock cosplayer with me so we did a few skits, it was fun.

Cosplay is something I always wanted but it was hard because being a cosplayer of color, it is hard sometimes that some people don't accept that and it makes me sad but I became a cosplay activist fighting for the right to cosplay big, small, black, white it doesn't matter if your having fun do it. I've acquired a lot of haters on my beliefs. Some have told me to cosplay my own color and some photographers have turned down photoshoots because I'm "boring" and that you have to have like an elaborate costume just for their time. Well, guess what -some of us are not as knowledge like that. I'm kinda good with armor but sometimes have trouble with fabric. All you popular cosplayers that snub the little people, how about helping instead of saying you are better. Cosplay it forward people.... (yes I've met cosplayers like that and has turned their nose up because I'm not as skilled as they are) and as for the "cosplay your own race" believers, well if they hate me for being African American/Korean and cosplaying a white person...2019 you ain't seen nothing yet!
