Okay but given that you can make alcohol from just about any plant, a world built around Minecraft could have SUCH a liquor cabinet.
You’ve got your basics, the potato and wheat vodka, gin, whiskey, then rum from sugarcane or beet sugar if you’re feeling a little adventurous.
Then you’ve got the fancier things. Dandelion and melon wine, spike vodka, pumpkin liqueur, applejack. Zhuyeqing jiu and chocolate liquor if you REALLY want to go for the cool stuff.
You’ve got mead and all kinds of moonshine, everything from carrots to kelp to sawdust brandy if you live out in the Badlands. Sunflower and rose spirits, lilac wine, even milk liquor and advocaat if you want to deviate from plants a bit.
But then you’ve got the plants that don’t exist in our sphere.
Chorus liqueur, dripleaf absinthe, glowberry champagne and sweet berry wine, glow lichen beer and crème de spore blossom, golden apple cider, glistering cordial. For the truly danger-seeking, wither rose lanique.

my greatest flaw is that i would lowkey ship sokka/azula if i wasn’t so convinced that azula is a lesbian. bc just think about it. they’re both these hyper logical calculating masterminds with debilitating perfectionist complexes to hide their perceived worthlessness, so they’re constantly achieving, and while they never feel any real joy in winning, they get actually suicidal the second they fail at anything. they think everyone who can’t keep up with them is some sort of idiot because they refuse to live in a world where they are in fact more intelligent than most people, including the adults around them. they love making the most insufferable puns you’ve ever heard and get offended if no one laughs. they have daddy issues and mommy issues. they share so many of the things they have wrong with them. so like. just imagine how amazingly awful they would be as a couple. they would indisputably make each other worse , but in the most disastrously entertaining way possible.

I’ve only been playing magic the gathering for a few months and I feel like I understand how it works pretty well, but I tend to pick things up quick anyway so it makes me wonder how comprehensive it is to complete strangers to the game.
For people who don’t play magic: one of the types of cards is “creatures,” which are left on the playing field and have numerical values called “power” and “toughness,” meaning strength and health. During one player’s turn, they may have their creatures attack another player, which requires them to be “tapped” (turned sideways); being tapped prevents the creature from doing other actions, including blocking. However, creatures that were played the same turn can’t be tapped to attack. For each attacking creature, the defending player chooses one of their own creatures to block it, and blocking creatures do not tap. If an attacking creature is blocked, both creatures deal their power against the other’s toughness as if fighting. Creatures that are not blocked damage the other player’s life total.
With this in mind, creatures can have additional abilities that modify the above combat process. Each of the following “keywords” is used to summarize a sentence or two of additional rules that apply to creatures who have the keyword on their card. I’ve sorted them in what I personally consider to be most to least intuitive, and would like any willing non-players to try and guess their effects without looking them up:
Deathtouch
Trample
Double Strike
First Strike
Lifelink
Flying
Reach
Haste
Vigilance
Menace

I agree that nobody should be basing ideas around safe(r) kink from fantasy posts on tumblr, but I've come across plenty of educational posts on here that were genuinely helpful and enlightening. I don't think it's fair to suggest that they're all lying.
one of the most popular posts i ever used to see on here before i blocked OP was a guide for how to safely choke someone. not how to choke someone more safely, safer. how to do it SAFELY. this post, which continues to be extremely popular and has no doubt inspired a great deal of play, advises CUTTING OFF BLOOD TO THE BRAIN as a safe way to do choking!!!
obviously there are plenty of posts that are not out here insisting that actually there are 0 risks to choking your partner until they pass out, but there are a great number of posts that poke at that sort of thing. a huge number of posts that say "doms, we subs don't know how to communicate." a huge number of posts that posit and insist that there are actual 0 risks with biting your partner anywhere.
and — maybe this is worse! — i don't think the people making these posts are lying! i think they are uninformed and sometimes reacting with anger and defensiveness because someone somewhere told them that "hey this thing you like might not be safe" or even just "you have to be capable of communication and honesty to do kink safely." nobody's writing a post and twirling their mustache about how they're gonna ruin somebody's life by getting them to choke their partner, but a lot of people are spreading irresponsible shit anyway and i think it's healthy to approach every tumblr kink post with the mindset of "there is at least a 50% chance that this information is wrong"

some notes: I made lilac tea that I then turned into a syrup and it had a nice greenish floral taste with a slight lemony note, and it was green in color until I added lemon juice (which it pairs nicely with), which turned it pink/purple

i'm gonna try not to bring up madoka too much while watching utena because i know there's like... a rep there. but like im 6 episodes into utena and i understand i don't have the full picture yet but how on earth do people think these shows are similar enough to warrant "madoka is misogynistic garbage, go watch utena, it's basically the same but better"

dai n dark's chaotic good is still really funny bc u get to be balls to the wall sometimes but only about supporting your friends. wherever those posts are about heroes being beholden to their ideals/virtues whereas villainous charas are willing to prioritize individuals that's pretty much what i'm talking about. i know dai doesn't Look like a chaotic aligned chara whatsoever but put somebody he cares about in danger and he's the first one to start googling how to build a bomb without any prior suggestion. in any place where he feels tyrannized or oppressed by any kind of institution dai's the first to flip the bird and fuck off the grid to do his own thing. it's not about what length he'll go to but what length he won't go to in order to try to help someone, even if it's just one precious person. he's too good to be chaotic neutral but too extreme to ever be a lawful or neutral good spot. he's not pulling any lukewarm 'do the best any person can do' shit, his motto is 'DO LITERALLY WHATEVER IT TAKES' and that slots him FIRMLY in chaotic good.

reason #2648572829493 to listen to night vale: in year one there is an episode called “the phone call” in which cecil spends the half hour gushing about his crush. the whole episode is very sweet and gay. the next episode is titled “valentine” so you may be thinking, ok, more developments in their relationship? wrong! valentines day is a horrible disaster that kills hundreds of night vale citizens every year. being someone’s valentine is a fate worse than death. #loveloses

I think very often about how Luffy becoming a superpowered eldritch rubber god at like ten is what allows him to be as deranged as he is with few consequences. It directly supports the whole "the world will be this way bc it's what I want" attitude. Like, don't get me wrong he was already fucking Like That obviously, but becoming basically indestructible and able to get his way by sheer force of ACTUAL will via strength is uh... Deeply Enabling that behavior innit?
(Bc if you Don't have power, no amount of kicking and screaming is gonna have the world bend to your will, y'know?)
But yeah being a strong enough force of personality and Superpower to then have a bunch of other ppl follow him to shore up his weaknesses (sea water, hunger, unable to sail, dumb of ass, etc)
re: the rest of the Straw hats like "well he helped me and keeps saying I'm crew so I guess I'm going to follow this deeply genuine but also deranged sunshiney seventeen year old into hell and back"
makes him even more undefeatable???
Dunno if I have a point, I'm just Thinking about Him, he's such a unique character 🤩🤩🤩
