Favourite subject in school? dude idk I dropped out, I was miserable all day. When I went to college I had a lot of fun in Film Lit and the weirder photo electives.

Dream job? If I could make consistent money off photography and have it be my only job that would be so nice but the way it is now I find the business side of it so stressful that I prefer the setup I have now in which I have a cushy corporate admin job that pays the bills and allows me the freedom to have creative hobbies that I can do for fun without them being my job. I would love it if I could get into social work fields and do like community building and advocacy but they don't pay enough and/or I'd have to get more college and I can't afford it so !? Idk all I really want is something that pays me enough and lets me have hobbies but if it was something I felt good about doing that would be ideal. The company I work for now is morally acceptable for me because it helps people navigate the health insurance disaster in this country but I would also love to do work that would FIX the health insurance disaster in the first place, you know?

2. When was the last time you cried? Yesterday! My therapist I see weekly has a talent for making me cry. I also just cry easy tbh. Funny story, how much I related to Gale told me I am Le Very Not Healed™ and got my ass back into it. Thanks Gale!👍

3. Do you have kids? No, and most likely never will.

4. What sports do you play/have you played? I am not a sports person...ever. The last athletic hobby was aerial arts which lasted a year. mostly aerial hoop(Lyra) and a few classes in static trapeze. I've also tried pole dance but I was too weak/my brain couldn't wrap my head around it. I'd love to do it again eventually but first I must get stronger💪 I lost all my muscles.

5. Do you use sarcasm? It's my 4th language.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about people? Whatever sticks out about them. Their aura? If they're attractive? Interesting fashion? It really depends.

Most consistent throughout life that I've always come back to were cooking, trying out new food, gaming, and knitting. I'm also quite the sex/relationships nerd, not only in the horny way but also in the intellectual/philosophical way. It's why Gale's scenes tickled me so much on an intellectual level. It's weird sex and I love it!

12. Do you have any pets? Not yet! I really want a cat but I want to make sure I'm healthy enough to take care of it before adopting.🐈🐈🐈

14. Favourite subject in school? any of the humanities/arts I really enjoyed. Cinema studies, communications, psych, history, linguistics, ethnic studies, etc. Inject that shit straight into my veins. It made choosing a life path a nightmare. I was always jealous of those who always knew what job they wanted.

15. Dream job? I'm working towards becoming either a therapist or a radiology tech. I'll decide if either psych is truly my passion or not by the end of this year. If I can tough out this much school to a master degree/finish clinical hours end career goal it's doing mental health outreach for AAPI, and little bit of private practice. Otherwise rad tech is a short program, in demand, well-paid and you can end up with a 9-5 with enough luck.

no, but i was very almost named after perdita from in 101 dalmations until my dad stepped in and said absolutely not to the pregnancy hormones. ftr my mother maintains to this day it wouldn't have been a bad name. can you imagine. perdy.

2. when was the last time you cried?

within the last week for sure. it's just such a wonderful time of the year.

3. do you have kids?

nope, and that's never going to change. i neither want kids, nor would be a good mother, and i have a hard enough time looking after myself lmao.

4. what sports do you play/have you played?

i used to competitively swim through high school (although not in the way i think that equates to in the us), and i played football (soccer) on and off. the big one was show jumping, i made it all the way up to competing internationally for gbr. i used to wake up and ride at 5am before school and then again after school which, looking back, was quite frankly insane. i took being the weird horse girl Very Seriously.

5. do you use sarcasm?

more than other people probably appreciate.

i've honestly never considered this before this question but i think maybe clothes??? or colours of clothes? i'm not sure why either, i never remember them.

Last Movie: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Enjoyed it! This franchise is consistently pretty good about adapting the source material. (Even if the books are always better). It did awaken a burning desire to re-read The Hunger Games trilogy, which I just straight up do not have time for.

Currently working on: I am plugging away at two Ted Lasso fics. First is a multi-chapter 5+1 style in which I contribute to the Sam & Jamie best-friends-agenda (which I cannot write in chronological order to save my life). The other is another long-ish one-shot Jamie & Roy crushing-feelings-vs-crushing-feelings-of-accountability from Jamie's POV, which is making me feel slightly guilty for doing this to him. Oops. I've got about 10 other things that I'm developing from ideas to outline but no idea if any/some/all will be written. As someone who as recently as the new year was like 'wow fic writers are amazing, I don't think I'd be able to do that' this is a very confusing but delightful experience.

1. are you named after anyone?

Yes, after my great-grandmother, who died when I was a baby. When I turned 16, I also took my great-grandmothers last name, simply because I didn't want to carry my father's last name, and she had the most beautiful last name from my entire family.

2. when was the last time you cried?

Three days ago.

3. do you have kids?

No. I follow the philosophy of antinatalism. While I would love to have children, I believe it would be cruel, especially with my genetics. If I had a choice, I wouldn't want to be born, what if my child grows up and feels the same as I do now?

4. do you use sarcasm a lot?

Probably.

5. what sports do you play/have you played?

Never played any sports in my life. I have some breathing problems so physical activity is harder for me than for a healthy person, although I do fitness consistently (lifting and calisthenics) for the first time in my very unfit life. Funny enough, I have the war to thank for that. This winter, when we had blackouts, I was looking for something to do in the evenings, when it's dark, cold and dreary. I tried to do yoga for relaxation, but soon discovered just how weak I was. So I started to include more and more strength building exercises, HIIT workouts, until finally switching to lifting weights. It's amazing how much easier it is not to quit if your goal isn't to lose weight / get bigger butt or flatter stomach, but to get stronger and have fun. Modern society (yes, we're getting into the "society" talk) is trying to convince you, especially if you're a woman, that you should do fitness for looks. I'm sick of seeing all the female-oriented videos on youtube captioned like "get tOnEd muscles for the summer" or "burn belly fat in SEVEN DAYS" (it's impossible btw). Because god forbid you want to actually grow your muscles, not get them "toned", whatever that means. God forbid you want to become stronger or more flexible, not skinnier with a bigger butt. I've never been able to stick to a routine because I hate boring repetitive cardio, and it can be very disheartening to see no change on the scale when your only goal is to lose weight. So I thought I was just not a fitness kind of person. But when you feel your body getting stronger, when you realize that your progress depends only on your efforts, it becomes so exciting and fun.

Voice and smell. I'm autistic, so I almost never look in the face, but even when I do I usually don't register person's appearance very well. For example, I pass by my neighbors every day, but I have no idea what they look like, so I will never recognize them if we ran into each other somewhere else.

Scary movies, preferably with happy endings.

8. any special talents?

I'm very good at remembering song lyrics. And I can immediately think of a song for any situation, any prompt.

I tried gymnastics during 1st grade. I liked it, but it was too cruel for me. Other than that I reeeeeeally don't like sports

Blorbos From My Games: An Introduction

So you may have seen me talking about EnaMafu from Project Sekai. What the hell is an EnaMafu and why do they remind June Gaiaxygang of seemingly every PerthChimon pair in existence? Since my circle on Tumblr is majority Thai BL fans (unlike Twitter) this felt like a good time to make another Big EnaMafu Post wehehehhehe

Project Sekai: Colourful Stage

First off, what is Project Sekai (PRSK)? Project Sekai: Colourful Stage ft. Hatsune Miku is a Japanese mobile rhythm game launched in September 2020 featuring a cast of 20 original characters and of course, Hatsune Miku and her Vocaloid friends. It features rhythm gameplay (obviously) as well as 5 main stories, and ongoing event stories.

We're currently at 3 years of service, and the characters have been aged up by a year! Because I don't read (I HAVE A BAD ATTENTION SPAN) I'll only cover what is neccessary for Ena and Mafuyu, but their stories are heavily linked to every other cast member, especially their unit.

In PRSK, several music-loving teenagers notice an 'Untitled' music file on their devices. Clicking on it transports them to another world, 'SEKAI', where they meet Hatsune Miku. Miku encourages them to pursue their dreams and helps them overcome fears and soar as musicians.

25ji, Nightcord de.

One of 5 units in PRSK is 25ji, Nightcord de. (aka Nightcord at 25 or Niigo!). They're an online music circle who make songs anonymously, communicating via messaging service Nightcord at 25:00, or 1 AM from roughly 2 years before the start of the story.

This unit consists of songwriter Yoisaki Kanade, lyricist Asahina Mafuyu, artist Shinonome Ena, and MV maker Akiyama Mizuki. The 2 I will focus on are Mafuyu and Ena, though I'll be making references to the others (and occasionally characters outside of their unit).

Kanade has loved music since she was young. One day, she writes a song for her father that wins a competition. This causes her father to later overwork himself, unable to live up to Kanade's composition, falling into a coma.

Kanade, blaming herself for this, sets out to write a 'song that can save people'. She posts music online under the alias K, where she eventually meets honour student Mafuyu, going by Yuki. Touched by Kanade's songs, Mafuyu wants to write lyrics alongside her. Soon, they are joined by aspiring artist Ena and social outcast Mizuki.

The 4 of them continue unit activities as usual, Mafuyu offline, until one day a file named 'Untitled' appears on Kanade's computer, together with a white-haired Hatsune Miku that urges her to 'find that girl, before it's too late'. Clicking on 'Untitled', the 3 are transported into an empty 'SEKAI', where the 4 meet for the first time.

Asahina Mafuyu

Asahina Mafuyu is the lyricist of Niigo, who goes by K online. Although she has a friendly exterior, she has long lost sight of herself under the weight of others' expectations.

Throughout her life, Mafuyu has always been pressured to be a perfect 'good kid' by her parents, especially her controlling mother who wants her to be a doctor rather than a nurse, which Mafuyu wanted to be when she was young. Mafuyu strives to meet these expectations, getting perfect grades and even becoming the class president in her second year of high school, and regularly participating in the archery club.

At some point, Mafuyu started to realise that her true 'self' had been lost. For years, she had changed herself over and over to fit into the 'good kid' mold to meet expectations of everyone around her. Unable to feel anything or have preferences of her own, she started wanting to disappear.

Upon hearing Kanade's song, she felt something stirring in her chest. This prompted her to reach out to K, eventually forming a music circle with her. She also writes her own songs under the pseudonym OWN, publishing them and gaining enough views to match Niigo's numbers on her own.

Mafuyu despises her natural talent. It has never been something she has wanted, and has always caused her pain as it led to people expecting more of her over time. She searches for something, anything that will save her to no avail, and her feelings manifest in the form of the Empty SEKAI, a world with nothing.

Shinonome Ena

Shinonome Ena is the artist of Niigo, drawing their thumbnail and MV art. The daughter of a renowned artist, Ena has strived to create art loved by many, often to little success.

Ever since young, Ena has loved art. She looks up to her father, Shinei, a well-known artist. She attended an art class and intended to apply to a high school with a specialised art course.

However, once Ena confides in Shinei about wanting to pursue art as more than a hobby, she is quickly shot down. Shinei tells her that she has no talent and cannot succeed in the world of art. The next day, when she attends her art class, her teacher Yukihira tells her that she won't be able to make it as an artist because she draws for attention from others rather than a love for art. This leads Ena to believe her art is worthless, but at the same time strengthens her resolve to draw and prove everyone wrong.

Ena was touched by Kanade's song. After hearing it, she drew illustrations based off the music. This prompted Mizuki to use her artworks for a fanmade music video of the song, causing Kanade and Mafuyu to reach out to them, officially forming Niigo.

Ena craves acknowledgement and respect. She has always felt inferior to others around her, especially those that she considered 'talented'. These feelings cause her to start to want to disappear, similar to Mafuyu. She wants to try hard, yet her efforts rarely bear fruit and she starts to wonder if it's worth trying at all. To fill the void in her heart, she posts selfies on social media, only to be disappointed when her personal account gets more interaction than her art account.

The Story: EnaMafu Cut

In main story, after finding out about Mafuyu's emptiness, her want to disappear and her activities as OWN, Ena is furious. She doesn't understand why someone like Mafuyu, with talent and recognition would be suffering, as those are things Ena has desired for a very, very long time. She is taken aback when Mafuyu points that Ena, too, wants to disappear and hates that of all people, it's Mafuyu that understands her pain.

Later in main story, Ena yells at Mafuyu, making her true feelings known. Deep down, she loves Mafuyu's music, her lyrics and screams and Mafuyu to not disappear because she has to keep creating on this earth, suffering with everyone who doesn't have the talent she does. Although this is honestly something you should never tell someone on the verge of suicide, it's something Mafuyu needs. Ena's bluntness, together with Kanade's promise to save Mafuyu, is enough to convince her to return to the real world and continue making songs with Niigo.

In the next event story, Imprisoned Marionette, we find out more about Mafuyu's relationship with her mom. Mafuyu's mom (I will call her ASHN Mama because she is unnamed) is controlling as well as verbally abusive, wanting Mafuyu to be nothing short of what she envisions. This makes Mafuyu feel like a puppet in a cage, dancing in her mother's palm. This is where, in my opinion, Ena starts to understand Mafuyu more. She sees for herself why Mafuyu is the way she is, even if she doesn't know what to do with these feelings in her heart, she wants to try to help.

The next event story is Ena's. In Unsatisfied Pale Colour, Ena enters an art contest against Shinei's suggestion. She wants to win it and prove Shinei wrong, but ends up proving him right in a way when she fails to win a single award. This, together with comments that suggest viewers of Niigo songs don't care about Ena's art on its own, lead Ena to start to consider giving up on art entirely.

Ena enters the SEKAI, starting to understand why Mafuyu came to it when she wanted to disappear. It's comfortable and silent, with nothing to disturb her or remind her of things that hurt. When she is found by Niigo, she confesses that she doesn't want to give up on art, but sees no reason to continue because her efforts will never amount to anything.

When Kanade and Mizuki reassure Ena of the importance of her art to Niigo, the blunt Mafuyu tells her something else. She tells Ena that in her eyes, she doesn't have a reason to give up on art. If she wants to be acknowledged by the public and by Shinei, she has no reason to stop drawing now. Niigo has to continue making songs as a unit anyways, so what's the point in quitting?

This. This is such a big moment to me. Although Ena needs reassurance, sometimes it isn't quite enough. And just like how Ena's blunt words got through to Mafuyu in main story, Mafuyu's honest thoughts get to Ena, too. Niigo give Ena support that she's never truly received, causing Ena to become more open about her feelings and concern for others, which is crucial in later parts of the story.

(dangerous romance folks. this is why i say ep 3 is the pale colour of drts. so much of it parallels kanghan's own arc and revelations in the end of ep 3)

As the story continues, EnaMafu takes a backseat. As Mafuyu discovers more about herself, her trauma and starts to feel something like warmth again because of Kanade in Mirage of Lights, Ena is also becoming kinder and softening up to her unitmates. She shows concern for Mizuki, who she notices is distancing herself from Niigo. This is shown best in My Footsteps, Your Destination, where Ena tells Mizuki she'll keep waiting for Mizuki to confide in her. (happy 2 irl years since, btw. no progress has been made!)

Niigo is slowly realising that ASHN Mama is the cause of most of Mafuyu's pain. This becomes more apparent as Mafuyu skips mock exams to spend time with Niigo and her grades in class start dropping, resulting in ASHN Mama trying to isolate Mafuyu further.. After discovering traces of Niigo on Mafuyu's laptop, ASHN Mama suspects there is a music-loving classmate encouraging Mafuyu to do music, distracting her from her studies.

Niigo is, of course, trying their best to support Mafuyu throughout this. It is Ena who takes the first step, in a way, on a rainy day after her art class.

The Big EnaMafu Event

Sorry. Header not necessary but it is my favourite PRSK event of ALL TIME. I was top 3000 I can prove this. Someday, This Wish Will Transcend The Morning Sky is an event that focuses on Ena and Mafuyu. The event title even references Mafuyu's surname (asa, meaning morning in this context)!

In this event, Ena is heading home from her art class (which she has since started attending again, despite quitting after what Yukihira said to her in middle school) when she runs into Mafuyu. It's starting to rain, yet Mafuyu is making no move to get out of the rain. Mafuyu is internally contemplating whether she should go back home immediately or stay outside longer, knowing that there's something about her home that makes her feel uncomfortable.

Ena, noticing this, invites Mafuyu to the Shinonome household. Shinei is currently out on a work trip, so it's only SNNM Mama (again, unnamed) and her younger brother Akito (from another unit, Vivid Bad Squad) at home.

Once they're in Ena's room, they call ASHN Mama, requesting for Mafuyu to stay over. ASHN Mama doesn't know Ena is one of Mafuyu's music friends, of course, but she doesn't want anything distracting Mafuyu from her studies. In response, Ena does the one thing she despises. She uses her father's name, saying that she is the daughter of artist Shinonome Shinei, who wants to draw Mafuyu for a project while Mafuyu helps her study. This works, and although Ena doesn't like it, she's glad Mafuyu is safe.

At dinner, Mafuyu starts to notice something different about the Shinonomes.

The Shinonomes aren't a perfect family, even without Shinei present. The siblings bicker, and SNNM Mama, while loving, sometimes fails to understand Ena (she is implied to have absolutely no idea about Shinei and Ena's fight but that's another topic). But it's warm. Mafuyu can feel the warmth of their family, despite their flaws, so different from her own. Asahina family dinners were always cold, despite them seeming like a perfect, quiet family on the surface.

Ena is the only one that can make Mafuyu realise this. Kanade lives alone as her mother passed when she was young, and her father is in a coma. Mizuki's parents and older sister work overseas, so Mizuki also lives alone. Ena is the only one who is able to show Mafuyu what a warm, somewhat normal family is like.

After dinner, the 2 return to Ena's room. Ena and Mafuyu have a heart-to-heart about what Mafuyu's feelings towards her mother. When Mafuyu expresses how she's afraid of letting down her mother, Ena starts to understand. Ena herself had similar feelings about Shinei, but while Mafuyu has suppressed her true self out of fear, Ena rebels and strives to continue doing what she loves.

This conversation also gets Ena to reflect on her own relationship with Shinei, realising that although their relationship is pretty much unsalvagable, she respects him as an artist and acknowledges that he didn't have bad intentions. Akito had previously talked to Shinei and told Ena that Shinei just didn't want to see Ena fail like several of his artist friends. Ena doesn't forgive him for this, continuing to avoid him as best as she can despite coming to an understanding.

Later at 1 AM, the two log on to Nightcord for their Niigo meeting. As Mafuyu starts to work on lyrics, Ena notices how focused she is. Although Mafuyu claims to have no dreams or aspirations of her own, her expression while she writes tells Ena something else. Seeing this, Ena gains inspiration for her art project and starts to draw.

Silently, Ena prays. Seeing how Mafuyu is like doing what she loves, Ena wishes that someday, Mafuyu will break out of her shell. That one day, Mafuyu will be free of her mother's chains, doing what she loves, no longer suppressing herself to make others happy.

This... this is an incredible event. It reflects EnaMafu's development, especially Ena's. From not being able to understand eachother (something that Marionette's event song, Jackpot Sad Girl highlights) to empathy and concern and even love (of the platonic type! or romantic idk up to you). It highlights why Ena and Mafuyu are important in eachother's lives, and how they have a role no one else can fill.

And that's pretty much all the major EnaMafu stories! Since then, Mafuyu has gotten closer and closer to finally escaping her mother. Some key events are Immiscible Discord, where Kanade reveals herself as Mafuyu's music friend and swears to ASHN Mama that she will never leave Mafuyu's side after realising there is nothing like love in her heart for Mafuyu. Another one is Our Escape for Survival, where Mizuki tells Mafuyu that sometimes, running away from your problems is okay as long as you face them someday.

(i... i really like mafuyu's card in this event. 1. RAIN MOTIF! not posting mizuki's but she's giving mafuyu an umbrella and getting drenched herself in it!!!!!! 2. holy hell that hairstyle and the piercings. i need it to come home during the rerun or i WILL die)

This all culminates in Niigo's final event before 3rd Anniversary, Saying Goodbye to My Persona. Here, Mafuyu finally cuts the strings binding her and admits her true feelings to her mother.

ASHN Mama, of course, rejects this. She is unable to comprehend that Mafuyu has been suffering all this time. She throws Mafuyu's phone into the fish tank and in response, Mafuyu runs out into the rain (!). Niigo search for her, and eventually it is Kanade who finds her. They hug, sharing in eachother's warmth in spite of the cold rain.

And that's where we're at with Niigo! Their next event is in like under a week so we WILL find out where their story goes soon... Ena and Mafuyu are now 3rd years, and Mafuyu is living with Kanade!

Why Ship EnaMafu?

I have been an EnaMafu fanatic since Pale Colour (my PRSK account proves it but I do not currently have screenshots...). They're opposites, yet they complement eachother so well. They're able to relate because they've both been mistreated by their parents, yet unable to comprehend because they reacted so differently to it. Mafuyu hiding away parts of herself and Ena becoming bolder, trying to rebel even if it hurts her.

They're able to see through eachother, and their bluntness (Ena due to her personality, and Mafuyu because she is unable to understand why her words might hurt) is something so unique to Ena And Mafuyu. They've become key parts of eachothers' lives, despite their initial conflict. Although Mafuyu has difficulty showing it (writing issues lol) Ena like all members of Niigo is someone she cares deeply about. And Ena, who has always been stubbornly supporting Niigo, slowly starts to open her heart up to someone she used to hate.

They also have 3 cover songs that highlight their similarities. Hello/How are you, about a lonely girl who just wants her voice to be heard (this is the one i think is kanghansailom). Hurting for a very hurtful pain, a song about, well... pain (i am not a vocaloid expert sorry). And my personal favourite, Love me love me love me which can be interpreted in a number of ways but is mainly about a girl crying out, desperate to be loved.

All of this drives me Up The Wall. I love their dynamic and development over the 3 years I've known them. I may be biased (I own like $100 SGD of Ena merch) but I really, really love EnaMafu!!!

So Why Does This Remind Me Of BL?

(this one is mainly for my bl mutuals you can skip this if you want)

The obvious answer is that I am unwell and like making my interests about eachother.

A slightly more serious answer would be that many have compared EnaMafu's dynamic and tropes to yaoi. Contrary to popular belief I do not read or watch yaoi so I cannot confirm this. But it sounds about right!

The actual answer is that it's because some BL characters have arcs that are similar to this. As I have pointed out many many times, Ena reminds me a LOT of Kanghan (Dangerous Romance). From the dad problems to how they've changed because of Mafuyu and Sailom (on Ena's side it's a group effort! But come on).

They're also very ChopperBen to me in quite a few ways. The obvious one being the parental problems (let's be real here.) but also how to me, ChopperBen have a certain level of... Misunderstanding... between them. They've led different lives and been through different things and have different personalities which is why the Bathroom Fight happens!!! Of course there are more feelings below it but it goes down to their fundamental differences in the end. Which is pretty much early EnaMafu.

(also because i erm. the enamafu fic i wrote from ena's pov is a scrapped ben pov chopperben fic? certain elements of it, not the whole thing lol. i was thinking about how ben likes to play off his very serious wants as jokes and how he can barely speak his honest thoughts, then i went, Wait A Minute. and wrote 500 words. you can read it here)

This is pretty much why my PerthChimon wishlist looks something like,

miserable teenagers (this one is likely knowing GMMTV)

i need 2 know everything about frongle

there's alot to go through and I don't have much of it written down plus there's technically 3 canons for him (based on playing as him in star trek online[STO], D&D, and the one with aipi) but I will do my best, starting with what's consistent, and then merging the aspects that I like into a singular unit.

Identity

Full name: Frongle Grimblegrot

Race/Species: Undetermined ("frongulan")

Pronouns: he/him

Gender: Undisclosed ("huh?")

Sex: Undisclosed ("wuh?")

Orientation: Undisclosed ("eh?")

Age: Undisclosed ("what a rude question!")

Features

Frongle has evaded comprehensive biological study, but superfluous appearance and self-description has granted some details. Frongle stands at around 170 centimetres in height and is mostly visually humanoid, with the notable features including:

- oily (like excessively applied moisturiser) pesto-green skin

- three vertical yellow streaks that run along his head and neck

- pointed ears

- no hair

- a foul stench (like dead fish and sulphur) caused by a constant sweat-like excretion of a thick pasty gunk of notable toxicity

- basic psychic talents, granting him the ability to:

- amplify how persuasive he is, allowing him to convince and trick others more effectively. This power is associated with his voice and can work at reduced effectiveness through recordings of his voice and telecommunications, though the delay between when he said it and when it is heard will reduce the effectiveness of this ability.

- do a weird sort of telekinetic ventriloquism that he isn't always aware of, often leading to an object near him temporarily gaining a sentience that shares his goals (this has previously occurred twice with dead fish that he has tried to talk to for some eccentric reason. One had the name 'Aurelius' and the other one was just referred to as 'dead ass fish')

- Insisting upon wearing a strange garment resembling the formal wear of the 1800s Earth, including a black coat, black trousers, black gloves, a stained white undershirt, a bow tie that probably used to be red, and a top hat with a band in that same was-red colour. Upon closer inspection it can be noted that it is not made of fabric, but instead some kind of leathery kelp-like material, possibly responsible for some of Frongle's fishy stench.

- A pair of thick, opaque-looking goggles that he calls 'froggles', which serve the purpose of reducing incoming light to comfortable levels for Frongle's eyes. It would seem that his people, whoever they were, may have dwelled in a dark and/or subterranean environment. Very few beings have seen what Frongles eyes actually look like, and even fewer would want to tell you about it.

- A cane, with a brown wooden shaft and a brass handle fashioned into the shape of a fish curled in an approximate "C". Originally acquired as a fashion item more than anything else, Frongle has also found it to be useful on worlds with higher gravity than he's used to, as well as amplifying his persuasion abilities when pointing it at someone.

History/Biography

Frongle's true origins remain unknown. It would seem he was cast out from a civilisation of beings similar to him, though different enough that they could not stand his presence. Frongle's physical adaptations suggest that he is adapted to living in dim, nutrient-rich places, with gravity somewhat lower than galactic standard.

This, in combination with the apparent absence of any others of his kind, leads to the suggestion that the race Frongle belongs to lives underground, possibly on a small world that is barren and unremarkable on it's surface. No-one from wherever that is seems to be in a hurry to make themselves known, likely because that could mean Frongle returning to them. Because of this, the location of "old frongulus" and the other "frongulans" remains permanently unknown.

Frongle's known history begins with him being marooned on a gross wasteland planet as part of his (hopefully) permanent exile. He loved it there, calling the planet "new frongulus" and asserting that he is the "mayor" of the planet to whatever he thought was listening (which, in his isolated delirium, included rocks and the weird goopy things that counted as flora on that planet). When questioned about why he was exiled, he tells a different story every time, though each one can be boiled down to him being too much of an intentional nuisance for his kind to keep him around.

At some unfortunate point in time, however, Frongle managed to escape his planetside isolation and was let loose upon the cosmos, much to the dismay of galactic authorities and most species with a sense of smell.

However, the ensuing antics lead him to be in the presence of multiple threats to the galaxy that simply weren't prepared for someone like Frongle. [I honestly don't have much lore on what happened here, it's mostly just based off of me playing as him in STO]

Due to his deeds there, regardless of whether they were intentional or not, Frongle was no longer the subject of unanimous disdain. Instead, he was now the subject of controversy and in some places, favour. Frongle was equipped to confuse, disgust and persuade others in a way that was otherwise unavailable, due to his kind choosing to remain hidden. Various members of the galactic community advocated for his freedom, citing how he averted far greater catastrophes than he has caused. Others want him captured and controlled, or at least closely monitored.

As a compromise, Frongle is allowed to live as he wants as long as he is in the presence of a highly sophisticated security android who goes by the name of A.I.P.I ("Artificially Intelligent Private Investigator", often pronounced like "eye-pie" for brevity). As it turns out, Frongle has more quiet allies and supporters than he expected, because whether by alteration in its code or by its own choice, AIPI has a very relaxed approach to its assignment, acting more like a roommate and advisor, rather than a strict monitor. When AIPI is required to report on Frongle's activities, it will conveniently omit any especially unfavourable antics from its records and submit an acceptably innocuous description of what occurred.

Due to its constant presence and agreeable nature, AIPI has been something to Frongle that he has never previously had: a friend. Frongle understands that AIPI seeks to allow him the freedom he wants, and also seeks out the android's encyclopaedic knowledge on the myriad things he doesn't understand.

As of late, Frongle and AIPI have been living together on a "private" residential space-rig (noone else wants to be there longer than they need to be). Frongle spends much of his time watching/listening to galactic radio/television broadcasts, taking pleasure in phoning up the radio stations and convincing them that his incorrect answers to their quizzes are in fact correct. His persuasion abilities also find use in online games with voice communication enabled, allowing him to disproportionately influence the actions of his teammates and the outcome of a match, for better or worse. AIPI, despite being resistant to Frongle's abilities due to being a synthetic being, will often choose to join in anyway.

1. Are you named after anyone?

In the real world my name is in like top 10 most common ones in my first language which I hate vehemently for that fact alone. Also, maybe I was named after some relatives with that name but that was never an important part of my lore. I dislike the name anyway.

My tumblrsona is Patricia Vetinari, obviously named after the one and only dark flamingo authoritarian usurper, patrician Vetinari. Lady Margolotta was taken at the time I think but I figure it's for the best.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Day before yesterday. There's this OC who makes Ophelia from Hamlet read like a buddy comedy by contrast and that's in no way shaded by the fact that I'm the one writing the tragedy, I'm completely objective.

3. Do you have kids?

I do not and I don't think I'm fit to be a parent. I think about it sometimes though. I think of names and the names for their potential imaginary friends. And what would our favorite board game be and could I possibly sit down and invent it? Who knows.

4. What sports do you play/ have played?

Used to swim. Loved swimming in family time pools and wild waters like lakes. Had a nickname 'Bobber' as a child. Was strongly suggested (read: forced) into more sportish swimming by mother to lose weight. Was bullied out of the swimming club because of my weight. So you could say it all went

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Only recreationally.

6. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Clothes. I can't be seriously into fashion, I'm fat and a commie, but I like people watching and seeing the life choices they wear on the outside, of the circumstances they are forced to wear. Either way, most make me sad.

7. What's your eye colour?

Blue. I fee ehh about it. Wanted brown as a teen, would prefer green now. But I can't be bothered with lenses and occasional compliments are nice.

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

Scary movie can have a happy ending if you're not a coward about it. Happy for whom? Which character are we suggested to identify it? What is a happy ending anyway? Can a happy ending be a scary movie? Absolutely.

That being said, I don't do horror well, and I do like when the characters I like get home, get fed, get railed, get fulfilled. If they had to go through a scary movie for that – that's the story, innit?

9. Any talents?

I am a jack of all trades kinda gal. Is loneliness a talent? I'm a maestro at that.

Also I cook well I guess. Some writing is looking good.

I might also be an absolute firecracker in bed but I'd have to get back to you on that after I acquire some empirical evidence, but my theory is strong.

In a hospital in the midst of New Years celebrations in a country that was struggling to be born with me.

11. What are your hobbies?

I have ADHD. Give me a well presented topic and it will become my hobby for a few weeks.

I run my sims dynasty with an iron fist and a five year plan.

I read about perfumes sometimes. I even wear some and one of these days one of those dainty bottles will get me laid.

I try to learn to play chess. Consistency is key and my inner locksmith hanged himself when I was 13, I still hold memorials for the man and pay a generous pension to his unfortunate widow.

I've recently broke 400k point record on tetris. I post about all that and more (or less) on my silly little scripture of a blog. I sing badly outside of the shower when nobody's home. In the shower I check if I still can do the wrist lock behind back thing (I can, both sides). I ache for the world and my place in it.

Beautiful twin monsters, little Deppy (short for Depression) and sweet mild Annie (short for Anxiety). Also a plushie called Fucked Up Evil Little Pudding, he's a sweetheart. My puter is called Bartholomew and we're civil with each other.

Statuesque 5'2'' in the weird foot measurements. 160 in normal ones.

14. Favourite subject in school?

Chemistry. I was spectacularly bad at it. But I actually tried, the teacher was a few percent less shit than others and sometimes I actually got the material and had wild fantasies of giving old Mendeleev a run for his money. Those dreams were crushed firmly by 11th grade.

15. Dream job?

Sheep farming. Also writing children's books in spare time.

Kind of. My middle name consists of my grandpa’s name and my mom’s middle name

2. When was the last time you cried?

I think it was about a week ago. I was already having a bad morning but had to go to school because I had an exam. I was on my period and after the exam, I noticed I had I small dot on my pants😭 it wasn’t even noticeable but I cried and went home anyways haha.

3. Do you have kids?

No. I always tell myself I don’t want any for lots of reasons, but sometimes I do think it would be fun to dress the little babies up in clothes and then pack them cute little lunches when they go to school lol.

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

Soccer (only played it because my friend was in it and my mom bought me salted sunflower seeds)

Dance (I did dance for 10 years. Somewhat hated it somewhat loved it)

Figure skating (I didn’t do it for very long but I love to skate)

Not a lot, usually only with my brother and sister.

The Sixpack Crew

So for years since we met and former our online bro bond and friendship,me and my buddy https://www.deviantart.com/top-gun5391 aka Dark Graven have made a daily routine on a regular basis some roleplays involving our OC group of friends we call the Crew,or the Sixpack as I’ve taken to calling them on twitter. There is our co creation,the gothpunk redhead Naz,the trio of the gothic skullface Doc Marciano,the behemoth manmountain Chino and the statuesque hyperactive manic amazon Nikia,his ever evolving redux oc bombshell Senia and our own take Dib from Invader Zim,based off of @bigdead93​’s fanart and the deadpan snarky programmer from comedy Silicon Valley Gilfoyle,Dib/DG Mendez (the G stands for Gilfoyle obviously). The past year or so I’ve been aiming to get requests or commissions that nail their visual designs and especially get at least one pic from longtime favourites like @aeolus06​

Yep, it's Jewish tradition that you shouldn't name people after living relatives so my first name and middle name both come from relatives who died before I was born.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Had to think about this one, I think it might've been my granddad's funeral last year?

3. Do you have kids?

Pretty sure I don't.

4. What sports do you play/have played?

Nothing really. (Bonus not-that-fun fact: last year when I was catching up with an old friend I'd not seen for years, I mentioned "by the way, I'm a nonleague football dickhead now" and she went "oh, that's really nice that you've got into playing football" and I had to explain I hadn't got into football in a playing football way, just a socially acceptable excuse to drink cans at 3 in the afternoon way.)

6. What's the first thing you notice about someone?

Probably dress sense I suppose? Or haircut?

7. Eye colour?

I dunno, I can't see them! I think like greeny-blue or bluey-green?

8. Any talents?

I think I'm an ok writer and reasonably funny? I have a very good memory except for when it's terrible, and some decent admin/spreadsheet skills. I'm good at being consistent, I think.

Tricky. Scary movies can have happy endings I suppose? Can go for either?

nope, my mum just wanted name that wasn't popular at the time and somehow chose that one - funny story, my name is The Most Popular name in pl for about 10 years and still going strong , I cannot pass the playground and not hear it being screamed by some mum xd

also two days ago when i decided to watch one video from concert

no, but I would love to have few in the future <3

4. do you use sarcasm a lot?

i think i use it normal amount, it's usage increases when dealing with stupid people at work tho

physically - their smell, other than that probably how they act when they're angry (it's not like first thing you actually see but you can quickly judge person after that)

technically blue, but i'm pretty sure they're grey

happy ending, not even a question for me

i can do a little of embroidery? other than that probably mishearing every possible song lyric is also a talent of mine <3 as my sister said: lyrics totally don't bother me and i can sing in any language

Thank you @boutiquetraveltravelboutique for tagging me on this one!  I was telling @nalyra-dreaming how I had seen her reply to these and I was like, “OHHH I want to do it” and then planned on it doing once I was back full time and then here I was getting tagged for it while I was away - how lucky am I <3

So here we go!

Are you named after anyone?  Sort of.  Basically, Katharina is a fairly common German name version of Katherine, and my mom does have a Tante Katharina who is turning 90 this year!  But I think it was more “I like the name” vs. being named after them.  However, both my middle names are for my paternal and maternal grandmothers.

When was the last time you cried?  What kind?  I definitely have no problem sharing the “my joy overfloweth” kind of crying at any time - literally got an emote of my bday face from like two years ago being all happy crying at digital gifts and well wishes lol - but the sad, or anxiety kind?  Nah.  I’ll dip before anyone gets to see that.  Let’s blame my Scorpio vibes and not the c-ptsd. 

Do you have kids?  I do!  I have (in my belief system) one child in Heaven from a pregnancy loss and two AMAB kiddos I refer to as my rainbow babies.  I consider them precious gifts that I hope I never take for granted <3   

Do you use sarcasm a lot?  In person, I can easily dip into a Vince Vaughn kind of sarcasm lol (you can even get glimpses via VC chats haha), but online??  My brain reads very literally, I’ll blame the ND codedness, so I use tone indicators and sometimes do ask for them - and happy to provide them if asked, too.  

What's the first thing you notice about people?  Oh!  That’s an interesting question - hm, if given the opportunity (say, a large gathering) I tend to observe how they treat others, especially people who cannot do anything for them - are they kind to the staff?  To the retail worker?  Do they put the cart back?  Do they roll their eyes at someone herp derping and having a (harmless) good time?  Do they snicker and sneer?  Do they speak to people in a kind way? 

When meeting someone directly for the first time, I try to observe what their comfort level is when it comes to personal space and eye contact - everyone is different - so still observing, approaching slowly, smiling, just doing what I can to help create a comfortable safe space before introducing myself with name, and pronouns and (though certainly not implying pressure that they have to share theirs), allowing them to know I’m a safe space if they’d like to share :)

What's your eye colour?  Blue and green with gold colored central heterochromia 

Scary movies or happy endings?  Both, but if I have to pick one, scary movies!

Any special talents?  Tbf some of it this might have more to do with practice vs talent lol, but essentially, all the art things - writing, drawing, singing, some dancing, etc.  Because of chronic lung disease the last two are obviously impaired, but at my peak health days of my youth I competed in nationals for show choir and was a lyrical soprano - I can still hit the notes on good breathing days :) 

Where were you born?  Fulda, Germany 

What are your hobbies?  Most recently consistent?  Fandom works: writing, digital art, doing fandom events.  I’ve also enjoyed various crafts (mostly paper media, but some mixed media as well).  I’ve gotten compliments on my digital prints via my old etsy store, and made Saint peg dolls, and mini Saint altar shrines - I still make the occasional ones for parishioners as requested.  But yeah, most of my hobbies are digital <3 

Do you have any pets?  Too sensitive to pet dander, ammonia, and all related pet things lol - however my mom and brother have animals upstairs in their apartment (two dogs, and three cats), and my kiddos have two guinea pigs (and I haven’t been able to be in their room for more than five minutes at a time since) lol

What sports do you play/have you played?  I was the sick kid in school lol.  I did have a couple stable years in my mid teens, so I did show choir which involved dancing and singing show tunes haha

How tall are you?  Five feet and five and a HALF inches - the half is very important also Marilyn Monroe was the same height, and as a fellow curvy gal I’m like yesssss

Favourite subject in school? English and History :)

Dream job?  Kindergarten teacher, or an art teacher - but especially anything related to children’s services - I went to school for it and am grateful to have had opportunities to work with children in the past <3
