I just had A Realisation

It's my life and my crafting

I absolutely can and probably SHOULD knit a sweater with Reinforced Sleeves, given that my arms need so much less to freeze than the rest of me

So I could absolutely use this thin af yarn held 5 or even 7 strands together on the sleeves and then held triple on the body

The yarn in question is 2250 m per 100 g, so even 7 strands together don't sound outrageous. Just warm

Also I could absolutely create a colourful abomination of a sweater, using like 5 different sock yarns... Who will stop me from being a fucken freak? Government?? Don't think so!

I never understood how people say sewing is easy and you can sew anything because it's just so simple...

#when i was in theater in my first year of HS #we had to help out with some of the props and stuff at one point #we had some extra curtains for a scene and some of us were instructed to help sew them up because they were kinda torn #i kept pricking my fingers and made a bloody mess and my teacher finally told me to go help move things #i was watching a crafting video on how to sew a bear and people were saying how easy it is.... hmng...#maybe im just not a craftsy person...

Okay, so

Now I have 2 different spindles (cheapo support spindle and decent drop spindle)

I have new, better fibers (mohair and 22 micron merino)

So if I fail at spinning NOW, that's on me

No there's nobody doing spinning around here (which is also why I've struggled to find fibers for spinning, haha), so I can't go to some group of People Who've Been Doing This For Ages for advice when I'm struggling

And the Anything Bad Ever Happening Is Obviously My Fault brain worms are not helping

Deshan's hair throughout the main story to Trepasser went through a lot. In Haven, their hair was braids with wooden beads to symbolize their achievements and family (I hc that Clan Lavellan use beads in hair to tell a person's story/achievements). Then when named Inquistor, to symbolize their identity death, they cut it short (as seen below).

They kept it short because of their forced upon duty, this was a sign of them accepting their death as Deshan as well as their new beginnings of the Inquistor. Only after Trepasser did they let their hair grew out. I mean, they disbanded the Inquistion, therefore they, as the inquistor, had died. Now all that is left is someone reeling from three years of stress and trauma as well as repressed emotions.

In Dreadwolf, if the Inquistor is shown, then their hair would still be grown up with braids thrown in to symbolize their friends as well as their clan/family (even if they feel like they could never come back to them due to their vallaslin removal).
