Hiiiii!

This is my first post on the tubler and I'm a little worried about it. Before that, I saw a lot of posts about 'Among Us' where people drew their OC'S, I liked it and decided to make my own ^^

his name is Listard (a mixture of lizard and star) and I didn't lie about the lizard, he really is a lizard, he is also a Crewposter (as I understand it.. this is an imposter, only friendly.?) he has speech problems, he can stumble when he speaks or make mistakes in words, he really doesn't like it when someone tells him about it and tries to fix it.

Well, anyway, he's even very friendly and likes to cuddle^^

Hello! I'm the user that had a feral crewposter with about 20 minis. Just thought I should update!

We've cohabitated very well. Luckily the parent seems okay with me, and I've even pet them a couple of times! However, all the ones old enough to seem to understand that we are just going to be neighbors and not to get too close. I lay out treats and gifts occasionally, and I found a vent cover on my doorstep last week! Turns out there are a few little imposters running around.

I hope, like you said, that we'll have a comfortable population in the future. They have a safe place to stay (I've bought them/ made them some things they seem to like enhancing their spaces with), and I'll be looking out for any sickness! None of them are quite ready to move out of the parent's care yet, it seems. Do you know what age that usually happens? I want to be prepared to make sure I know where they go.

I'm so happy to hear that the amongi are doing well! Amongi are minis until about age 4, so they should be able to fend for themselves by then- technically. Sometimes amongi will stay with their parents up until 10, for whatever reason, and with so many siblings running around there's no way all of them are getting as much attention as minis normally do. So it'll probably take them a bit longer to be independent. And I need to thank you for helping them all- i'm sure they'd thank you too.

Tl;dr: age 4, but be prepared to wait just in case.

I need some help!!!

I’ve recently bought amongi FROM A SHELTER and the shelter told me they were both crewmates. I’ve been feeding them a mostly plant based diet, but he’s(the one in the picture) has been trying to get into where I store the meat whenever he’s hungry. I tried writing it off, but now he’s been scurrying through places as if he’s venting through them. Since he still shows signs of being a crewmate, and the shelter thought so much that they marked him down as that, I am questioning if he’s a crewposter. I know how crewposters’ amount of crewmate and imposter varies which is making it trickier to figure out what breed he is. As well, I’m worried if he IS a crewposter he won’t be compatible with my crewmate amongi. I need some help from some more experted amongi pet owners.

help! i found an orphaned baby H.knight and took it in, but my tbh and crewposter keep trying to sniff it. i did tons of research about how to raise them to release, but im still panicking! will my tbh and crewposter pose a threat to it?

As for the tbh, those are very docile but the little baby may still be very afraid of it and try to attack with its little nail. The tbh may even step on the little guy by accident if you and it aren’t careful.

i got my stick from the stickboard (rowers not allowed to touch!!) because no more races and not really any practice i think.

the stickboard is where all our lineups are. there are popsicle sticks that say things first the boat names and then the cox names and then eight rower names (sometimes less if we go out with seven or six) in the order of our seat in the boat so we know where we are. also theres a section for people who are not there that day under whiteboard marker written "OUT" lol.

i have a diploma on mine cause i am graduating and then the scribbled out bit is my last name and the S is because i am a starboard rower (even though technically i can row both i row starboard more).

Bonus Imposter facts

Imposters survive by eating large amounts at one time and storing energy in the packs of thier backs.

They must conserve space and make the most of what they can get so they focus on internal organs such as the brain, heart, lungs and liver as well as the water and nutrition filled blood within humans out in the lifeless desolate areas of space.

When Imposters need to move from one area to another they can squeeze themselves into areas humans wouldn’t dare attempt. Sometimes in areas as small as a quarter wide in any attempt to get on board and to travel around the ship.

Once on board they will replace and copy one of the crew members on board. Usually after a while of near starving to find a ship this first meal jumpstarts a hunting rampage and they’ll wipe the ship when posible. Due to this instinct they find it difficult and even impossible to preform crew tasks and instead just fake them.

Imposters can travel in groups or alone but never in groups larger than three as that seems to set off alarms for humans when too many of the crew is slightly off. The groups will do what they have to for survival but often will put their own individual survival over the servival of fellow Imposters.

It is well known Imposters connect to eachother to always know who is and isn’t edible.

Often times germination in certain kinds of Imposter can be started by a major change or even an extreme hightened emotion and depending on subspecies a child is budded off the parent in various ways, from flowering and growing as a fruit to just popping off a limb and everything in between.

Young Imposters stay with thier parents until they are fully grown to develope the connection that adults share by practinv with its parent, if orphaned they are found to be impossibly cute and left alive on board crew ships ensuring it still reaches adult hood.

Fruit however is one of a few that are known as Crewposter, an Imposter that has defied instinct for companionship instead... these don’t always end well as eventually they still have to eat...

My beans Pinto (blue crewmate, she’s a shelter rescue, has a visor mutation so she has two, and she’s abnormally small due to stunted growth) and Lima (lime crewposter, I found him abandoned in a playground (I waited for his owners to show up or anything since it was sunny out and a relatively safe temperature I figured his owners had to be somewhere, but nothing), he’s got an oddly shaped pouch and is partially deaf, was underweight when I picked him up from stray hold but a lot less underweight than he was when I first found him) stole my phone, and got onto YouTube, pressed a random video in my recommended, and now they know how to pick locks (I watch a lot of LPL) and keep escaping their playroom (I put them in a playroom of their own when I’m at work since I can’t supervise them) and wreaking havoc across my house (they’re both surprisingly high energy), how do I discourage this behavior???? :(

Pinto seems to be a lot more into the lock picking than Lima, although he could just be letting her do it seeing as she’s the dominant bean. She seems to see it as a task. I’m honestly contemplating just getting both of them some padlocks to pick so they won’t pick the door open and barricading the door from the outside when I’m not home. They even know how to relock it, so they also keep locking random things and getting distracted when they try to pick the locks back open and leaving it locked. I’m terrified that they’ll get out and get lost, and that I’ll either never see them again or I’ll find them dead… ;_;

For crewmates, lock picking is usually a sign of boredom. It's unlikely that your amongi will try to leave the house, as that's where they get food and entertainment. Even if they do leave the house, they'll quickly get bored of wandering around outside and come back.

Bean paws are too big and unwieldly to handle combination locks, so slap those on things you really don't want them to unlock. Then, try making an "unlock safe" task for your amonguses by putting treats, toys, etc. in a locked box and leaving it for them to open.
