The battle with Adam had been unexpectedly brutal. Bleeding, broken, and bested, Alastor had no choice but to retreat.

He'd have to find a safe place to heal. He had many retreats, and had only to choose which suited his needs best. In the meantime, he was slinking through an alley like a rat. As he surveyed his surroundings to ensure the area was still abandoned (it wouldn't do to let others see him in such an injured state), he found himself coming to an unplanned halt. He felt like he was being watched. Red eyes scattered in the surrounding brickwork aimed themselves at him slowly.

The red eyes were supposed to be a normal feature of Hell. They were formed from the scattered energies of fallen sinners, or so he'd heard some people say. Just a mere background feature, like lichen on a wall. Yet these ones felt different. It was as if they held prophecy in their slitted gazes…

It was then that Alastor felt the feeling of being watched intensify to a petrifying degree.

Strange rant, but I honestly don't understand the number of people that have said apple seeds contain arsenic in the last year. They don't! What they contain is cyanogenic glycoside. For goodness' sake, please get your poisons correct!

Eats apples whole. The middle part and the seeds and everything. Leaves only stems.

Eats pear and watermelon seeds as well.

Eats cantaloupe together with the (fully ripe!) seeds.

Can easily chew thru the hard, burnt-up parts of popcorn

Will sunbathe to the point where they fall asleep in the hottest sun and get their skin all seemingly burnt up, but? the next day? it’s fine? already healed????

Will go and be in the sun again after that

I've talked about how one of the problems with the idea that going vegan will do anything to help the environment (or anything really) is that any dietary fad is seen by big companies as something to exploit

Daily Harvest is a vegan food company and the food poisoning is apparently largely in their meat replacements

They were slow to respond to allegations about this and one of the announcements about it included a coupon to buy more of their product

I feel like my point has been very horrifyingly illustrated, as if the Supplement B-52 incident didn't already do that
