Protect Clan Lavellan: Cheat Sheet so No Elves Die

I’m sure many people have done this, but jic I made a Decision Tree cheat sheet that shows which advisors you have to choose as the quests progress in order to make sure both Clan Lavellan and the Wycome elves live.

You can find it here. It’s a google doc, so feel free to download it and sharing it, because I know this quest progression stresses me and always has.

The first tree is Leliana’s. The advisor choice progression is Leliana - Josephine - Leliana - Cullen. It will net you from 372 gold to 508 approx, 185 influence, plus horse.

The second tree is Cullen’s. The advisor choice progression is Cullen - Leliana - Leliana - Cullen. It will net you from 367 gold to 558 approx, 185 influence, plus horse.

In both cases, in order to advance from the first quest/war table operation to the other you need to have finished Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts for the Leliana decision tree or WEWH + Here Lies the Abyss for the Cullen decision tree

Honestly, these NPCS that I found in game I just admired.... idk. They did something to me and I'm sure bioware thought yeah, they're the secret hotties of the game too. This is a random NPC in the frostback mountains. I'm.

He's good at fishing and we had to get his boat I'm. Too bad he didn't get in the boat. I'm sure he was impressed with us. Why did they have to dress him like this?

Hottie N.2. The Executioner

In skyhold, we meet with the gorgeous executioner that's doing the dirty work for us. He's absolutely eye candy. Those eyes of him? Idk why but I saw him and went... why is he kinda.....??? Am i right??

i know i haven't posted art in a while, but here's my new inquisitor Baqir Lavellan at various stages of his life (including his time as a spy within the Tevinter Imperium :0) as well as his daughter, Rahat!

I've been considering writing a fic about him and doriaaaan but we'll see if i have the time and the spoons for it lol

Also if Baqir had a song it would be Spent Gladiator by The Mountain Goats or San Bernadino also by the Mountain Goats :P

If Teia and Viago do appear in Dreadwolf, would you rather they be companions or part of a mission in Antiva and/or Tevinter (kinda like Morrigan during Inquisiton)

I'd rather they be kinda like Morrigan in DA:I in that they have a prominent role, but are not full companions tbh. Just because I'd be even more interested in having a full book or comic series about them, and if they're companions, then there'd be more concerns about world choices and stuff.

I don't know how many of you guys know Yahtzee and his Judging by The Cover series but there is something bothering me about Baldur's Gate 3's cover and I will talk about it.

Short version is: This game deserves a much better cover art.

Because this is the most lazy way to create a poster for a game. This collage way of making covers is a plague on creative industry ever since the prequels came out, and I am saying this as a Star Wars nerd. I hate it. It's unimaginative, repetitive and lazy. It just throws the characters onto the screen in a soup of whatever. That should not be how a poster or a cover art look like.

Just look at all these star wars posters:

They tell nothing about what the story is. If we didn't know these characters already no one knows what the fuck is going on - it is just chaos. It gets worse as the movies go on. I am not even gonna talk about the sequels.

But back to Baldur's Gate, you can now see how similar its cover is to the collage formula Star Wars and many other movies use so much.

Now I want to put a cover here, which in my opinion, explains the plot and vibe of the overall game in a more subtle and elegant way:

I love love love this cover. The dragon in the negative space, the pose of the main character with their hand up in the air (for those that don't know, MC has a magic hand in the game which is vital to the plot), the clash point of white and black representing the Breach (basically the big bad of the game) and the negative space being filled with demons which escape and bleed into Thedas (the name of the world in Dragon Age) through the Breach caused rifts.

So far I talked about the rectangular cover, but in the wide cover I shared up there also includes the companions you collect through the game. Overall, it explains the game so perfectly, nods to so many of the things you come across through the game. After you play the game and come back to look at the cover you see how many little details are in it. And it just makes you want to look at it, look at it for a lot longer than you would in a soup of characters. This cover tells us a story.

Dragon Age: Inquisiton is similar to Baldur's Gate in many ways, in my opinion. I love both of them. And Baldur's Gate deserves a cover as clever and as beautiful as DA:I has here. And I think the way for them to do it now is make a competition for it and ask the fans to submit their cover arts.

I can go on and on about this, adding more example covers but I think I've made my point. A game as fantastic as Baldur's Gate deserves just as amazing and unforgettable cover art for itself.

Cody was born Codessa Trevelyan in the family home in Ostwick, but ran away to Denerim when she was 14. She moved in with a nice elven family, the Suranas, at their tavern: the Leaping Stag. Cody worked there as a barkeep until the Conclave was announced, whereupon she left to watch history in the making.

Cody’s adoptive mother Fortunata is an ex-Crow, and taught Cody knife work in their down time. Cody’s adoptive sister Mirevas learned archery from her father Adohi, who was a dalish hunter when he met Fortunata.

DA:I canon divergence—

Keala Ghilain is the dalish liaison to the Inquisition, and the “official” arcane advisor to the Inquisitor, given Solas’ apostate status. She drinks from the Well of Sorrows, given that she was the one—not Morrigan—invited as the elvhen expert.

Mirevas Surana travels to Skyhold to see her adopted sister, and becomes a barkeep at the Herald’s Rest. She starts up a flirtation with Sera, since the girl spends so much time there.

Romilly Amell is a theoretical arcanist, and is brought to the Inquisiton after the discovery that the Mark is not Andraste-given. She does research on the mark, trusted under the tutelage of Madame de Fer.
