so, for anyone interested, i’m actually going to be doing 3 chapters for by lantern’s light. the 1st chapter is obviously edwin’s perspective beginning when he wakes up in the cellar, which is the one that’s already written. the 2nd chapter is going to be crystal’s perspective from the moment they arrive in the graveyard until the moment he’s found (which i’m almost done writing). the 3rd is going to be the aftermath of edwin being found from charles’ perspective

all the perspective shifts have been a bit odd to work with, but it’s been a fun exercise! the story itself is moving in the direction of becoming a first kiss/getting together fic, so i’m hoping it’ll have a really sweet ending
