Trevonte Helton, a 29 year old Black man, "was found hanging from a tree at High Shoal Falls in North Georgia." This man was murdered, and their quick eagerness to call this an "isolated" incident is just horrifying.

He tried his best to cheer the innocent baby when he knows himself the catastrophe they’re facing. Ya Allah, please protect the people of Gaza. You know what is best for them. Grant us the imaan, patience and bravery You gifted them

We are talking about millions of people being exterminated... No food no water no electricity. Total blockade. Any aid gets bombed. Gaza has been bombed nonstop. Thousands murdered. Children murdered. No one can get in or out. Death Camp. Extermination. Wiping Gaza off the map.
Basically... a Holocaust.
Ironically, a bloody holocaust.
And Hamas are the terrorists??? REALLY????

Why do you still call yourself a pro-Palestinian Zionist?
I assume you’ve seen for yourself the forty minutes worth of footage of what Hamas did, Gazans cheering them on?
Those animals deserve death.
Yes. Because the moment I stop, the moment I give up on this very possible alliance between Israeli and Palestinians, I will lose.
And losing will destroy me. This is the hill I stand on, and I will keep standing on it as long as I can. I will continue to support the right for self determination of both my people and of the Palestinians, my brethren. I will continue to support a peaceful solution. I will not concede and let neither Hamas or the right wing extremists win.
I do avoid the videos to my own sanity, but I have read the descriptions. I knew about the cheering from the first day, and it didn't stop me then and would not stop me now. You know that there are people on my side cheering for the death of Palestinians? people who celebrate their deaths?
How can I, knowing those people exist, expect any Palestinian to reach their hand to me if I do not do the same? If I am to generalize and declare all Palestinians the same, how can I ask them to not do the same to me? What gives me the right to put others on a higher moral standard that I uphold myself to?
If a hand is able to reach to me through all this hate, what right do I have to not reach my hand in response? what right do I have to not grab that hand and hold this person? how can I in good faith give up on this chance?
I am and will stay both pro-Palestinian and a Zionist, because this is the only way I can live to my ideals. Because the moment I stop, I have personally failed.

The sheer fucking audacity of CNN to refer to yet another inhumane massacre of Palestinians who were just trying to retrieve aid for their starving families as a "chaotic incident" enrages me. They refuse to name the perpetrators who murdered Palestinians, the IOF and they refuse to condemn Israel for the atrocities they have been carrying out since October. The CNN and other western news/media outlets don't even deserve to be called as journalists but rather a bunch of heartless ghouls with no morality, fortitude, or spine. and these so-called news outlets should be put on trial for their complicity in this genocide.

absolutely fucking insane for people to message palestinians saying "im thinking about killing myself" like did you stop for one second to think about the person whose people are being subject to genocide is a human being and not your therapist, diary, or thought-dispenser who exists to make you feel better or to ease your distress

I've been on an unofficial hiatus for a while because recovery and adjusting to disability are both really hard, but i feel i do have to say something.
I am not pro-Israel. It's not just my political allignment that makes it impossible, but also my moral code.
Palestinian civilians have been displaced, wrongfullu incarcerated, killed, and otherwise subject to the Israeli government's military violence for decades now, plenty among them for peacefully protesting. Mandatory military service for Israeli citizens means any young adult who isn't willing to face jailtime for refusing to enlist is expected to be a tool of that military violence, and any who do enlist and say something in poor taste or genuinely offensive about it on social media becomes a much easier target than the ones actually in charge. Israeli soldiers ar facing depression and suicidal ideation from this war and Palestinian civilians are resorting to eating animal feed due to aid being cut off.
It is not Holocaust Inversion to say that the state of Israel is oppressing Palestinians
It is not Blood Libel to say Palestinians have had to look through rubble to find their dead childrens' body parts
Jewish people who cannot condone the actions of Israel for moral reasons do not deserve to be called self-hating for it
A massive loss of lives is never good, and it saddens me to hear of Israeli civilian deaths. I wish all those peaceful protests worked and this level of desperation had never been reached, but i cannot, in good conscience, condemn violent resistence to occupation, no matter who it comes from. Doing so cracks open the door for anyone to condemn any group they have a political grudge against for the same thing, and also to claim that they also deserve the total anihilation Israel seems intent on inflicting upon Gaza.
I hope that this war is called off. I hope that all of the hostages can return home. I hope that the brave and compassionate Israeli citizens who see the cruelty people inflict in their name for what it is and try to put a stop to it are victorious. I hope that from the River Jordan to the Mediteranian sea, Palestinians can walk freely among their grandparents' land without fear of bullets, bombs, or violence.

really important!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
after killing 40 Palestinian journalists (+ many journalists who survived but their entire families were killed because their HOMES were targeted), zionists are now spreading dangerous propaganda linking journalists to hamas to
minimize their credibility
refuse to hold any accountability for killing them and
manufacture consent for further targeted killings of even more journalists
it is important to remember how heavily surveilled Gaza is and how israel knows where every single person lives. this is why many journalists have been martyred, not in the field while reporting, but in their homes, as they went home to see their families and get some rest. furthermore, if you follow motaz azaiza closely, you'll know that recently he has also had some close calls with israeli airstrikes, suggesting that israel is indeed targeting active Palestinian journalists, especially those who report in english or have a lot of reach in the west.
please do not fall for israeli propaganda and convince yourselves that israel is justified in murdering innocent Palestinians who only seek to show the world a small glimpse of the hell they live through everyday. call out this propaganda everywhere you see it, and spread awareness about this being a propaganda tactic. by israel's own logic, if journalists happen to record an armed group as they carry out an operation, then journalists from cnn who have embedded themselves with the idf, are also legitimate targets.
and as much as i hate a lot of these american journalists for their complicit reporting in the genocide of Palestinians, i think they deserve to be prosecuted in a free and fair court of law, not to be blown to bits for it. however, for israel, ALL palestinians must be killed to ensure the security of the zionist entity. even the existence of a single Palestinian is proof that israel is an illegitmate settler-colonial state that ethnically cleansed the indigenous population.

Apparently Zionists are harrassing Sudanese people who're risking death to post updates from their own genocide because they can't tell the Sudanese flag 🇸🇩 apart from the Palestinian one. 🇵🇸
Mfers 1) can't even identify what they hate so much, 2) can't leave any Black people alone if their lives depended on it.

decolonization beginning and ending as abstract theory is nothing more than a way for so called progressives to comfort themselves for being woke and reading the works of james baldwin and assata shakur and malcom x in their fancy classrooms but when it comes time to actually put it in practice, those same teachings are suddenly "inhumane" and "shameful". all while using any acts of resistance to justify the retaliation of an ongoing ethnic cleansing apartheid regime of an oppressive and occupying force?? its time to be for real and use some critical thinking skills

I have finally watched The Creator yesterday. Watching that while the genocide in Palestine is currently unfolding was very, very painful.
Reviews on letterboxd I've seen focused so much on the what they perceived to be "boring sci-fi trope of wow robots have feelings/souls too" and neglected to point out how this film shows how US military DEHUMANIZE people.
It really grinds my gears how many people missed the totally not-subtle anti-military, anti-imperialism aspect at the very heart of the film.

it's been nearly three months since we went through an earthquake and each night when i go to bed i still feel the bed shaking underneath and i have to stand up and stare at my lamp to see if im just imagining things. i didn't even realize that the earthquake, which lasted for a mere minute, affected me this much until this started happening. so i can't even imagine the psychological repercussions that people in Palestine now face
to wake up to the sound of bombs everyday, to know that nowhere is safe, that there is nowhere to hide, to go to sleep not knowing if you'll still be alive tmrw, to write your name on your arm so that ppl would be able to identify you. all of this will leave such horrible horrible mental scars on all Palestinians i can't imagine the fear and the dread and the anxiety they must feel rn. my heart breaks for all of them it's horrible all of this is
