I was about to sleep but I remembered that lore olympus had updated so I read it and ªªªª it's too beautiful 😭😭

First starting with THIS. Demeter facing directlly ay the Consequences of her words on her daughter, how it was not selfish behavior on Persephone's part to want to leave and disobey her, but rather an act of freedom that hurt her because at the end of the day it's her mother.

Seeing how deep Those words had marked her daughter who she tried so hard to protect, made her see things straight.

And she took responsibility for what she did, she admitted 😭😭😭😭 and i love how Rachel shows how it is possible to break the genetational trauma Even In those who perpetrated it at some point.

with Lore Olympus ending imma say that the 10 year skip was disappointing I know I wasn't the only one who was interested in seeing how Persephone handle taking over her mom's role? How she learned more about her powers? Did she find out any new information about Hades and how his relationship with Minthie was from Minthie point of view which has Persephone kind of rethinking her whole entire relationship with a guy she's only known for weeks or months???? Or did she learn anything new about what a fertility goddess was and why was so important that people are so interested in her

Also there was literally no point of bringing Eris into the story and being the one who blessed Persephone with wrath when Artemis and Apollo had wrath too, so it means Persephone didn't have to be blessed she just had a normal reaction and made her lose control Eris did not need to be shown she didn't have to be mentioned well she could have been shown but she didn't have to have anything to do with what Persephone did at all she could have just came to trial because she was interested to see all the chaos that was happening that's it

And😬 Artemis wow just wow, protector of women... I don't know what was the point of giving her that title yet when she has not done anything to protect women like at all and why didn't we get to see her having a conversation with Persephone on what happened why were we just giving hints why didn't we see her talking to Apollo but we didn't see them talk at all which is weirs you found out that your twin assaulted your friend in your house and we're not even going to get nothing from that also her relationship with Leto who again we don't even see in the story

And then Persephone going to the underworld and fighting Kronos which wasn't even a fight you've seen enough fighting scenes to know that that was not a fight she did not fist fight that creep which also heart easily defeated him possibly because he still was regaining some of his power I mean he was trapped in the Underworld/ Tartarus and is a time God got beat by a goddess who still doesn't know much for her powers is weird I know some people going to hate me for saying this but the 10 year Gap was something I was looking forward to see because I want to see how Hades and Persephone handle being separated to see what the Demeter was up too but was surprisingly not surprised that it was a let down I feel bad for saying it but I know we were kind of expecting more from 10-year skip

Lore notes:

-Demeter is obviously a fertility goddess. Not in the LO sense, she's just a fertility goddess, is venerated as one, and is one of the figureheads of a cult dating back to to the neolithic age. -She did not fight on the front lines during the titanomachy; she was the supply force of ambrosia and thus did not have to fight much. However, at the tail end of the war, her farm was ransacked by the titans and she was left with a scar crossing her face. Her fields were burnt to a crisp and many nymphs were lost in the process. -Demeter is made of earth, and is a perfect equal to Poseidon, made of the sea. -She raised Persephone in the mortal realm -She lost her bid for queen of the mortal realm, which occurred in the midst of her banishment from Olympus. Hades voted in favor of her, after they secured a deal regarding the volcanoes, but Zeus, Hera, and Poseidon voted against her. -Top center is her true form, only seen in times of great despair. -Everyone on Olympus is waiting for Demeter's inevitable return.

Design notes:

-Demeter is made of fresh earth. She is a stronger, more vibrant green than Persephone because she was designed after tall forest/jungle plants, which have more chlorophyll to tolerate the sun's rays and are thus darker but less colorful (see: Persephone) -Her hair is wheat/cereal stalks, usually tied into a cornucopia style "bun" -Her hair always defies gravity in some way -She wears a lot of furs and natural materials, and her clothes are always some shade of green, brown, or yellow. -In her hair are three flowers: 1. A poppy, her sacred flower 2. A pink lily, modelled after Persephone and 3. An orange lily, modeled after Persephone's act of wrath. -She has a human disguise due to her time with mortals, and later, her refuge at Eleusis. -Demeter has "horns" of some kind whenever she is in a threatened position. The top and bottom middle are her at times of great despair.

My retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth using the Lore Olympus miniatures I made...

Once long ago there lived two goddesses, Demeter and Persephone.

This is Hades,

He saw Persephone one day and fell in love with her. Unfortunately he suffers from being an extreme introvert and is too scared to talk to her, especially with Demeter around.

After a while Hades decided to ask for advice on how to tell someone you've never spoken to that you love them.

Hecate wasn't much help (she just laughed at him)

"Maybe I could give her flowers" Hades thought,

But when he went to offer the flower he realised that it was insignificant next to the flowers she could make herself,

So after much thought Hades despaired and went to ask his brother, he was married after all so he should have some good advice......

Let's begin

Our little boy is back 😭🤌 and he is sooo cute. I love the first panel because I feel like she perfectly shows Demeter throughout this entire Webtoon, a woman that always tried to be Too hard on her daughter and on herself, trying to keep large parts of herself buried because she thought it was best, and then there's that second image where she looks vulnerable.

Showing that vulnerability is not bad, and letting what you are holding so much in come out is not bad either, if she had talked before about some of the trauma she was carrying from losing her son Much sooner she would have been able to receive help.

in the same way that if she had talked about Metis with her sisters, much sooner she would have realized that she was acting as a coping mechanism for her trauma through putting too much weight on Persephone's shoulders

I love Hera's expression 😂

The generational trauma talk 👏 is 👏talking👏 And it shows that it is not too late to change and realize that the steps we are following (Just because it feels safe) sometimes do not lead to an idyllic destination.

HADES WAS SO NERVOUS 😭😭LMAO THAT SON-IN-LAW ENERGY IS STARTING TO COME OUT AND I LOVE IT because the interactions between them ranged from hostile to ignoring each other, another proof that they are taking steps in the right direction

I just thought I’d a new lore Olympus theory.

With the TGOEM being under apollos control and hestia and Athena breaking the rules as they are in love, along with Hera being in a coma, I have an idea of a new organization being created when the Kronos and Apollo situation being dealt with.

I’ve learned that Demeter isn’t only the goddess of the harvest in mythology, she becomes the goddess of marriage and family as well. My theory is that after learning what Apollo had done ti her daughter and tried to force her to marry him, she would not only be livid and heartbroken for Persephone and want to punish Apollo for hurting her daughter and trying to make her suffer the same fate as other fertility goddesses, but after seeing how hades loves her daughter and how Persephone loves him back (as well as her own relationship with Iasion) it will inspire her to make a new organization.

And that’s when Hera comes in. I still believe that after all of this is over and everyone finds out the real reason zeus started the trial and punished Persephone, as well as lying to everyone that she hasn’t done her job (which will piss a lot of people off) she will take control of Olympus and punish Zeus by stripping him of his immortality and throne and become the sole queen of the gods, and will officially annul her marriage and that’s when she and Demeter will come together and create an organization that will help women by not only with who they will marry, give council to help relationships, but if the marriage turns bad with adultry, abuse or constant lying, they will rescue the women and end their marriages to the men.

As for the family, Demeter will work with hestia after she steps down from her position as the TGOEM after her relationship is exposed and after learning Persephone was violated, the guilt she’ll feel will compel her to protect the family even more, including Demeter after seeing what her lies and strict parenting to Persephone has caused her.

I see the three goddesses forming TGOMAF (the goddesses of marriage and families) where they help form marriage’s, as well as protect the women and children and if the marriages go bad they will punish the man and help them escape.
