DETHRONE SKELETON GOD. THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO.

In this gmless role playing game you will set out on a journey to find and dethrone the aforementioned god. You will need some d6s, a d12, and some writing materials.

This game pulls a lot of inspiration from some pretty stellar games, including No Stone Unturned, EXTRACAUSAL, Trophy, and Blades in the Dark. You will play racing against three Fallout Tracks, which track the collapse of the material world, the immaterial world, and the Skeleton God’s Power. When all tracks are full, the game is over, and you narrate how the world ends.

If nobody in your group wants the burden/responsibility of running a game, this game is an excellent option as it is both GM-less and lightweight. It’s only 16 pages long and covers creating location elements and exploring them as a group. Everything is collaborative, so if you’re interested in games that let you come up with a story together as you go, you might want to check out this game.

Dead Gods, by Trollish Delver Games.

After the Cataclysm of Heaven it all changed. Murdered gods fell from the sky, sundering the land and casting their sacred relics about the world. From the woodwork crawl Warcults, scavengers of god-relics to further their own twisted gains. The Eternal seek power over death itself. The Order of the Stars seek relics to unlock god-like omniscience. The Pale Druids imbibe relics to acquire power over nature itself. The Black Maw will create a new, hungrier god under their control. 

Pick up a lovingly-designed weird cult and pit them against your friend in a desperate effort to grab a sacred god-relic in this miniatures skirmish game. Each player will control a number of different kinds of war cult members, and there are 4 war cults to embody in the upcoming skirmish. Great for PvP and lovers of combat, but if you want narrative you’ll want to pick up something else or mostly RP it out. Karanduun - Make God Bleed, by makapatag.(@makapatag)

Karanduun is a modern Filipino Epic RPG about worthless heroes dismantling God, whatever cycle of oppression that must be.  Inspired by modern Filipino folklore and culture. You play as young heroes who must make their legend known and become a legendary Karanduun by making God (whichever oppressive system and tyrant that is) bleed.

Lovers of Kill Six Billion Demons will probably get a big kick out of this game. The god Batala is already dead, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for some rebellion of your own. There are demons, corrupt angels, and other Kings of the Earth to defeat, in a post-American world inspired by the Philippines. Skorne, by Dreaming Dragonslayer.

You are renegades, part of mankind’s insurrection against SKORNE who is devil prince, commander of demon rulers and their armies, and the darkness that reigns. Overthrow the evil Tyrants. Free chained captives. Fight to the last man.

Part of the NSR movement, Skorne is inspired by media such as Berserk, MORK BORG, and games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring. The game itself is only 4 pages long, with a really interesting system for character creation. You roll for your abilities and then use their values to determine your starting kit. The language in the game is also great for putting you into the fiction, such as the instructions found for character name choice:

“In the beginning, give thy renegade a name, though it will not save them.”

You want gritty and dire circumstances? You want to kill demon princes? You wanna play a game with random tyrant generation? This is for you.

Extreme Meatpunks Forever, by Sinister Beard Games.

Well, it's not like I didn't like Tek8. I enjoyed it (despite having some gripes about it, but that's normal lol) It's just that certain aspects may compromise my portrayal. Such as the whole War Thing and DJ's lore. I think even with my retcon of Tek6, Jin's story still works. A man who has to learn to forgive himself for the mistakes of his past, and the weakness. A broken man who slowly realizes he has to believe in himself. I think for the most part, it's still compatible with my Jin.

DJ is just a lil trickier, but I feel I can work with the stuff given... I mean, if I can say "tek6 happened but DJ did it" then I can still say lil things like "oh DJ and Jin always knew each other" and "Oh, DJ always liked Jin but was just a weird Devil thing about it". I think that works alright.

I like the idea of DJ and Jin making peace, too. It's just that it's harder to imagine for the same reason why it's hard to see Jin being buddies with every "his victims" - it's kinda hard to forgive / make peace with somebody who's responsible for the deaths of thousands. But I think I can make it work, it's fine, it's fine.

There's a number of reasons why I don't want to disregard Tek8 completely in my timeline. (Srsly, if I was to discard any game completely and rp past time - it'd be Tek6. But I'm actually pleased with my own ideas for it). One being that I'm sure a lotta Tek writers or potential writers will be excited to write in that timeline. Second, I do really enjoy Jin in it - his characterization was amazing. I just didn't care for him causing the war bits lol. Third, I did like the game and I wouldn't want to say no to it. Fourth, I want a conclusion for Jin and to have found peace. This is that conclusion, even if momentarily. And I am pretty happy with it, too.

I do actually try to make my main verse a timeline set between 4 and 5. Just because I mostly write with nontek muses, and I can't have other fandoms or OCs get dragged into the complex lore of Tek and the war and shit lol. But with Tek blogs, it seems I write in the present verse more often. I don't mind either way, really.

Oooh, there is competition! Looking at the fics I've tagged "Bad ending" rather than all of them.

Pain and revenge is a dark rapefic, On the edge is about the characters turning evil, Le destin ne recule pas is about a desperate and failed attempt to prevent the Ragnarök, by the villains even.

Rarely, compared to the total number of fics, but it happens! I had this series of Flander's Company crack crossovers.

Yes. And it's... mostly dark smut, to be fair. Unhealthy relationships, noncon, supernatural horror tropes.

It's so hard! To remember the intensity of past shipping feelings! But then I will use an objective metric: the number of fics.

It's Bill/Ford from Gravity Falls. Not a surprise, this one has sooo many of the tropes that make me weak. Betrayal and science nerdery and deals with the devil and all.

My Silmarillion fic from the PoV of the villains, Les Ténèbres sur nous

For fanfic, I'm usually good at seeing the hidden implications of canon details.

I'm so bad at surprises and plot twists, at walking the line between "everyone must have understood this" (I'm wrong) and "no one could understand this" (I'm wrong)

The whole dialogue, no, unless it's a bilingual bonus that we're meant not to understand (and/or the character does this in canon)

An intranslatable word from time to time, Japanese honorific... it depends. Sometimes it sounds weird, sometimes it sounds weird not doing it.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Writing my own stories about other people's characters before I knew what fanfic was: Brer Rabbit when I was a kid.

IIRC the first fic I wrote knowing what fandom was, was a Ruroni Kenshin fic. Discovering the world of fic made me realize that I could write even if my style wasn't perfect.

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

I have hundreds of fandoms and plan to write a lot more, but in immediate plans, maybe something about the Hilda cartoon.

20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

Ouch hard to decide again. I often rec Les enfants de l'acide because it's a fandom everyone knows, Vestiges de l'ordure et de la lumière because it's one of the best horror/dark humor smuts I wrote, channeling the original almost, I showed it to my grandfather even.

BACKSTORY:

* fairly short as of right now... writing this at 3am to make sure it’s ready asfldjklsd i can only articulate so much !

triggers: death (car accident), stroke, alzheimer’s disease

juno didn’t know her parents for long. as any given angsty tumblr rp background would include, a fatal car accident, courtesy of swerving out of the way of a drunk driver, took place when she was five.

unlike any given angsty tumblr rp background where the parents die at the beginning, she did have a stroke of luck that did not put her in the foster system: her mother’s parents. quick to step in and take on the role of guardian, juno was nurtured beautifully. offered a stuffed bear, who would affectionately become known as ‘yubby,’ absence, while felt and painful, was not as strong as it could have been.

angsty tumblr rp background something something. at eleven years old, it seemed that her grandfather -- pop -- had been acting a bit more erratically. more forgetful, slight changes in personality, but her grandmother -- mawmaw -- assured her that it was simply old age.

whale. angsty something something. old age caught up to mawmaw, suffering a stroke when juno was thirteen that would have complications leading to death a year later... as pop’s forgetfulness and personality changes became more intense.

although he was soon unfit to take care of a child, juno did her best to mask that and, instead, took care of him. everything he did for her, she began doing for him.

it was gradual, and whether that was good or bad, she wasn’t quite sure. but at nineteen, he ran through a spell of forgetting who she was... and it was then that it was deemed time to find somewhere more suited to take him, because now she wasn’t fit to take care of him.

a hefty amount of her inheritance was spent on uprooting and moving after researching some of the best facilities. a highly lauded one was placed in a city nearby... but, god, it was expensive. thus, she checked him there and moved to a cheaper town, just a couple miles out: stars hollow.

well... it’s given her more time to practice ! and teach kids about one of her greatest passions that i never went over in this intro bc im so tired ! it’ll be edited to expand one day i prommy <3

anti-spellcaster shadow monk

Here's a half-decent anti-spellcaster candidate: Shadow Monk.

Why Shadow Monk? So. At level 3 you get to cast a variety of spells:

Pass Without Trace, to sneak up on enemies;

Darkness to make it impossible for them to target you with any spells that require sight, and also let you just walk away without provoking AOOs;

Silence to make it impossible for them to cast any spell with a verbal component (unfortunately you can't carry this one around);

and Darkvision just for fun.

These have a fairly hefty cost in the form of 2 ki and an action, but they're often worth it imo. As the cherry on top, you even get Minor Illusion, which even ignoring raw out-of-combat utility is just a lovely cantrip full of RP possibilities.

Moving on: at level 5 you get Stunning Strike which, okay, has a lot of caveats as i'm sure you've heard, but theoretically speaking spellcasters should have slightly worse Con saves than most enemies? So it might work better? Maybe? i should analyse that sometime. And Stunned is one of the only conditions which any martials have access to which can actually stop casters from casting spells - Grappled, Prone, Restrained, none of them work, it's so sad. Whereas Stunned even breaks concentration automatically (Stunned implies Incapacitated and then it's in the Concentration rules). If you can actually get it to work, it *works.*

And then at level 6 you just get to teleport through darkness or dim light as a BA, up to 60ft, infinitely. i have an enormous soft spot for teleportation because it's just cool and you can do so much with it; get out of danger, get into range, infiltrate, exfiltrate, just flex on enemies and allies...

So those are the advantages. Now, the big drawback: the actual expected DPR output isn't great. You are a Monk without anything special to actually make you super competitive there. But you do have good anti-spellcaster tools, in return. The low damage is the price for your specialisation, alas.

A few Numbers for expected DPR at level 5-6ish (ignoring crits always and forever):

- subclassless fighter, longsword, dueling: 0.65 * 2 * (4.5 + 4 + 2) = 13.7

- monk, two qstaff attacks: 0.65 * 2 * (4.5 + 4) = 11.1

- monk, two qstaff attacks, one with advantage (eg. after shadow step): 0.8775 * (4.5 + 4) + 0.65 * (4.5 + 4) = 13

- monk, two qstaff attacks + fist: 0.65 * 2 * (4.5 + 4) + 0.65 * (3.5 + 4) = 15.9

- monk, two qstaff attacks + flurry: 0.65 * 2 * (4.5 + 4) + 2 * 0.65 * (3.5 + 4) = 20.8

Optimisation

i haven't really fully optimised this wrt. race, feats, etc.. Off the top of my head, you could go Drow for the free cast of Darkness? And that would open up the possibility of Elven Accuracy down the line... Bugbear is just really good on martials, especially MotM Bugbear for the first-turn Flurry of Blows into 4 attacks with +2d6 damage on each. Don't be fooled though, on any martial other than one of the real nova meme builds the real strength is the extra 5ft reach, which not enough people talk about - particularly on Monks, as it lets you hit people and then run away to behind the Fighter without them being able to hit back. Sure you could already do that with Shadow Step, but this doesn't eat your BA, which you want for damage in order to be remotely competitive.

Of course, fliers or VH/CL are still probably the best options, as always…

One thing to try for is to get a way to see through your own Darkness; that would let you cast it and then just teleport around with impunity, and would give you permanent advantage on anyone else in your darkness. Very tempting, but it turns out to be hard, however:

The classical solution is getting Devil's Sight, but two levels of Warlock is harsh and MAD on a monk. Could work, but it's harsh.

An alternative is taking Eldritch Adept, but this requires either the Pact Magic or Spellcasting features - which the 3rd level Shadow Monk feature does not count as. So you would need to dip one level into a caster to even be able to take the feat. Which itself is harsh given that Monks really really want ASIs in order not to die instantly, so this also isn't ideal. However, 1 level of cleric is pretty great on Monk regardless imo and there are some really strong domains after Tashas, so it might be worth. There's also just Fighting Initiate these days, which you can use to take the Blind Fighting style. It's not perfect because it only gives you 10ft of blindsight - can't get the full use out of your 60ft BA teleport. However, one feat is cheaper than one feat and one caster level, or two warlock levels. Now, if you do get a way to see through your own darkness and you're a Drow or some other flavour of elf, you could take Elven Accuracy, which would just give you three dice for each attack roll with Darkness up, which would actually make your DPR somewhat respectable i think? Not even so expensive since it's a half-feat for Dex/Wis.

You don't really want many feats, other than again maybe Elven Accuracy? Or some other Wis half-feats, maybe. You just need Dex and Wis too badly; remember your AC scales off of both, and you need to be increasing both so as not to squish.

Note that you don't really want Mage Slayer, ironically. It fits the build perfectly, but it's just too situational for me, and too weak to be worth justifying not just increasing Dex or Wis. If you have good stats or are certain you have room for it, go for it though.

Strategy

Not too much to say. Do bear in mind that you absolutely do not have to cast Darkness at the start of every combat, also - you could just go in instead, and often the best option will be not spend ki on things like this and instead just try and stun them, or just use all the ki on Flurry of Blows, or etc.

Feasibility

Completely RAW, not dubious at all; not insanely powerful either, so it's reasonable to actually play. However, the standard Darkness-build disclaimer applies: the DM may get tired of the gimmick and the rest of the party may rightfully be annoyed at you for blotting out the battlefield, even if you carefully explain the counterintuitive RAW of no one having advantage or disadvantage by default in Darkness.

(Basically, if you and an enemy are both in the Darkness, then you're Blinded, so you can't see to attack, so all attacks you make have disadvantage. But *they're* also Blinded, so they can't see attacks against them, so all attacks made against them have disadvantage. So it cancels out. This is pretty dumb, it should just be disadvantage imo, but this is the joy of 5e RAW.)

A good way to mitigate this is just to leave every turn, so as not to get in the way. However, even your slightly increased movement speed may not be sufficient for this by default. A few ways around this: just teleport out, sacrificing DPR each turn again. Alternatively, if you are a flying race or similar, you could just fly vertically upwards at the end of each turn to remove the sphere of Darkness from your party's view, and then fly back down at the start of each of your next turns.

Or just don't cast Darkness, of course.

Rules when Role-playing with me.

1. Do not start role-playing with me right away and out of random. I like to plan stories.

2. All Rps I do are PURE FICTION and do not equal Real life. Distinguish the difference between fiction and reality before role-playing with me. To further add to rule two, there are some things I'm okay with in role-playing and fiction that I'm not okay with in real life. So if there are things that either of us is not okay with or agrees on, consider this factor.

3. Regarding morality, I do not see the world in black and white, merely shades of Gray. Do not belittle anyone that you may disagree with certain things. It pisses me off when people belittle people over differences of opinion or even over fiction. We're all only human. That being said, however, there are some things that I will not support either. I don't think there's any need to start a war over that shit unless it involves real people and not fictional characters. I only care if it's reality and not fiction—the only exception.

4. It is important for all parties involved to know the limitations of others when it comes to RP. What they're okay with and what they're not okay with. This is important so that there are no issues. Communication is important.

5. Although I encourage detail in role-playing, I do not require it. However, I would probably try to encourage it as much as possible by being detailed. Hence why I mainly RP on Discord. Also, possibly here as well.

6. I have done it before but I am not strictly an nsfw role-player. I try to keep those types of RP private, as all nsfwrp should be, in my opinion. I like to keep certain things about myself private. Not to mention I mainly want to do SFW RP. NSFW RP is only for those who are over the age of 18. Minors, do not ask for this. Also, as said earlier, I only do those RPs privately in DMs and with the other person's consent. I don't do NSFW group RPs and never will.

Responses might be late, so please be patient. I can be very busy at times.

Role-playing 101, mainly for newcomers to RP. You should never gatekeep and restrict your number of RP writing partners. However, you should always establish boundaries. These boundaries are not just for your writing partners but also for yourself. Boundaries that they have as well as your own. It is important to ensure that neither you nor your writing partner crosses any lines. Hence, you need to discuss boundaries before you begin RP in the first place and remain in communication regarding that should boundaries change. I've made plenty of RP mistakes and lost good writing partners, but I've also learned a lot from those mistakes. There's a reason why boundaries are important. Being young and dumb will cause you to make a shit ton of mistakes that could cost you, good writing partners and friends.

their main schtick is that nick is a wonderful amazing alien boy (in like 3 aus) and otherwise just a wonderful amazing boy. he does him some archery & shit, he is amazing in every way, he is hot, and he is @mr-loverbee's idea of a manwhore. cody is a human sack of shit. in p much every au he is a conspiracy theorist who lives in his basement, which his father set up for him after pulling him out of school in 7th grade. from there codys education consisted of 4chan browsing. since i wrote this character 4 the 1st time hes changed a little bit -- for one ive made his story a little more watertight and yk. just generally fixed it up. he was intended to be a joke character. he ended up being the reason i got a boyfriend. shit changes.

they are basically all relationship goals. thank you.

siuoll and yvonne? siuoll likes yvonne. yvonne really doesnt know how she feels. they are childhood friends with naivix, who loves them but continues to pursue a wider circle, leaving siuoll, the depressed homebody, and yvonne, the shy introvert, to fend for themselves. in most aus, siuoll considers cody, who joins their group very late, bad news. (basement dwelling alien? potential friend stealer??). yvonne and cody, though, become very close and reach a deep understanding. this group is cuddly. they are an outlet for cuddles. these four absolutely cuddle profusely.

maynrd and huntte? huntte is minding his own business. he is an upright prick who would never break a rule. he has a repressed desire to be a rock star and he keeps a guitar that he cant play hidden in his home. maynrd is annoying, flawed, and painfully charismatic. he is an actor, he wants to be seen, and he and huntte are matched mostly in their egomania. they are opposites and so they r vry funny to play and 1000% good corruption arc material. maynrd and huntte r go-to main characters for black-and-white morality plots -- superhero/supervillain, angel/devil, etc. these two are fun -- i love making huntte go absolutely batshit.

amorei is caught between the two. she starts pretty consistently as hunttes girlfriend, however, the two are similar in their strong wills and quick tempers. though maynrd, amorei, and huntte are three of a kind, they are just different enough that no matter how you slice it, it just doesnt pan out cleanly

most plots involve some sort of huntte corruption arc, or require maynrd to be hurt before the two realize how one truly cant exist without the other. a fantastic outlet for drama

to continue on amorei, after huntte turns his back on her, she pursues vaughn. though she still has feelings for huntte, she would prefer to ignore them and seek easy outlets for her bitterness as opposed to addressing the bigger problem. in some aus she is good friends with maynrd despite their love triangle -- they both need someone to gripe about huntte to, after all

vaughn tolerates amorei, though at the end of the day she isnt entirely invested in it. she cares, but in a distant way, and she isnt able to return amoreis angry passion. amorei deserves a lot better, in short

auriga & alexia r off 2 the side. auriga is often unexplored and alexia is mostly just the glue holding everyone together -- she spends a lot of time being the mom friend and putting others first. auriga is the one she goes home to -- in the sort of "main" au auriga is an empath who is troubled by the conflicts of the others (naivix ends up burning down the library where huntte works after a troubling event involving siuoll questioning their friendship in public (for additional context, in the frame of reference that troll romance gives, naivix is sort of kind of cheating on siuoll with cody in a friendship way). siuoll being jealous of cody leaves cody adrift in it all, he has no place to stay because he lives with naivix so he turns to auriga and alexia and eventually yvonne (who is roommates with maynrd). auriga is unable to stand his worry and grief surrounding where he stands with naivix. long story short, that was a long story and thats the very very short version)

continuing down the list, fedexx is troubled and tad is caught up in it. thats the only way im going to put it because thats an even bigger can of worms. fedexx is a sort of semi-friend to them all. tad is their latest conquest who gets a bit too mixed up in fedexxs shit, proving that tad is in fact the unluckiest bastard to ever exist by catching feelings for the guy. yikes. anyway.

falvyn and the green lady are assholes inspired by characters played by a batshit lady on a roleplaying server. falvyn hit on naivix and is, as such, portrayed as a creepy ex who preyed on naivix when he was too young to really understand what he was getting into. the green lady is either portrayed as his mother or as the omnipotent being she was originally cast as. yes. the lady who stands and watches cody for an extended period of time, calmly breaking down his worldview and providing incentive for codys once baseless paranoia. ah yes, exactly the way to handle an anxious, abused kid who learned everything he knows from his jackass dad. in one particularly spicy au, codys dad and the green lady are together, making flynn codys stepbrother. i could overexplain that one anytime -- the plot and character dynamics are amazing in my opinion. creme de la creme

i dont blame you if you didnt read this all the way through! ik its a lot & some of its dumb af but these characters hold a special place in my heart and they often feel like friends to me. several of them were the catalysts for some of my strongest relationships. i still act out these characters lives on a daily basis, they are growing with me as people. many of them started as two dimensional characters who gained a life of their own. they litter my sketchbooks, most of my writing is about them, they are the subject of so much of my conversations. they saw us in and out of some of the worst bits of our lives. hell, i even have a fucking naivix sticker on my computer that my boyfriend made for me.

Alias / Name: fae! i’ve gone by fae ever since my early forum rp days in the early 2000s and have been lucky enough not to come across too many others with the same alias ( usually spelled differently! ), so i’ve kept it. really can’t imagine going by anything else tbh. in fact, i’d probably respond to it outside of the internet if you called me it lmao. 2. Birthday: june 11 3. Zodiac Sign: gemini 4. Height: 5′2″ 5. Hobbies: RP and that’s honestly it lately. I used to do a lot more personal writing projects, fanfic writing, book writing etc, but I haven’t done that in a long time and it kind of depresses me. The writing rut has been long and tiresome and I want my motivation back!!! 6. Favourite colour: baby pink. my room is done in baby pinks and cream colours. it’s very girly but in a classy, audrey heburn sort of way and i love it. 7. Favourite book: Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. it’s one of those rare finds where the movie is just as good as the book ( although vastly different! ). it’s honestly like taking in two completely different stories lmao. 8. Last played song: Devil I Know - Allie X. i was in the middle of listening to the mix i made for shelby. 9. Last film / show: j.ulie and the ph.antoms! ​ 10. Recent reads: i... actually haven’t read anything in months. i attempted to start shadow and bone a while ago but i haven’t finished it.  11. Inspiration: Shakespearean tragedies, poetry, art. old hollywood films and actresses. i have an edit somewhere i made of exactly the things that inspired corinne as a character, but i am too lazy to dig it up skldjfsdgg. 12. Story behind URL: i will have been writing corinne for ten years come february, so i’ve gone through a handful of urls as i’ve moved blogs and let corinne evolve as a character. but one thing that has always been constant is this idea of a wilting rose. the idea of it symbolising both a thing of hope and beauty, but also sadness and tragedy. i’ve had this url for a couple of years now though and i don’t foresee myself changing it any time soon.  13. Fun fact about me: so. i am really big into genealogy. i helped my grandma research and write up our family history dating back to scotland in the early 1700s ( there’s so much. it literally spans two fat volumes ). and one of the gems i found out about while doing research was that i am, in fact, related to j.ensen a.ckles. distantly, at least. we’re like third cousins because his great great great(??? it’s been a while, i can’t remember the exact number im sorry ) grandfather and my great great great grandfather were brothers. but i’ve always thought it was neat and my grandma was thrilled when i told her because she used to watch spn religiously.

4. Which muse required the most research for?

Of the Seven, Rashid and Abena require the most. For Rashid, it's because the Ottoman Empire is the most difficult for me to perceive in my head without falling into Western media stereotypes, and local media from Turkey or anywhere in the Middle East is the hardest for me to get my hands on for research (at least I have Chinatown and my Chinese friends for Ruixiong). For Abena, it's just due virtue of being a Haitian ex-slave who was born in the Gold Coast (modern day Ghana) before being captured and taken across the Atlantic at a young age. She has the heaviest and most sensitive subject to write for, so even if I have all the facts and research done, there is the social research I have to do to write her without looking like I'm fetishizing black trauma or stereotyping her as she deliberately takes on the "spooky voodoo witch" aesthetic.

8. Which of your muses is the most difficult to write?

Rashid and Abena, again, for the reasons I have to research for. Writing them as PEOPLE and HUMAN BEINGS is easy enough, and super fun, but personalities do not exist in a vacuum. I am not a "colorblind" writer.

9. Which of your muses is the easiest to write?

Giovanni! Hence why he has the most threads and (according to the Yearly Tumblr Review thing, has the highest number of tags). Next to him is Phoebus. A lot of it is mostly due to both being the friendliest and most agreeable muses to interact with, due their flaws and vices being the least obvious with newcomers. That, and I have been to both their hometowns in person: Venice and Avignon! They're lovely and I wish I can go back.

18. What one rule applies across all of your muses?

This rule I apply just to the Seven but not necessarily all my muses (because I don't have such a rule--it depends on my work and what tone I want to set): In all their acts of villainy, nothing goes beyond killing, theft, and vandalism. So no R, no CSA, no abuse, no enslavement, etc. Not only is it just not their style as pirates, but that, at least for me, is past the point of redeemability, and it goes against overall Devil's Eye theme of salvation and redemption.

19. Do you have a favourite muse?

It changes. One day, it may be Gio. Another, it may be Rashid. But I will say this: the Seven Deadly Sin Pirates are my favorite cast herd of all the Devil's Eye cast. They have powers, they are subject to/enactors my most favorite brands of black comedy, they have long complex histories, I can be as freely raunchy with them as I damn want, they can be written for drama/angst as well comedy/crack, and of course, I love villains and antagonistic characters. It says a lot that of all my canon RP blogs, most of them are video game villains/bosses rather than actual heroic characters.
