Besides beheading demons as a delivery girl, she uses the carcasses as manure for her tiny flower garden and for her dads veggie patch

Her foster dad may be a war convict, but he knows how to style her hair when she was little (until she decides on asymmetrical bob as soon as she can hold scissors)

She has to find another cat replacement for her ghost friend bc he keeps dying on mission/deliveries

Her deliveries consists of wishes and regrets; sometimes she gets them mixed up and why it takes her so long to get home

She once accidentally destroyed Eros' chariot, and she became a temporary cupid as a punishment

She doesnt have a clear concept of what love is, so the cupid job was a hassle. Thankfully, the arrows were color coded (familial love 💙, friendship 💛, romance ❤, devotion 💜, longing 🤍)

She used to be mute when her foster dad found her due to trauma. She can either communicate to minimal sign language or morse code by tapping, all taught by her adoptive dad

Having the ability to see ghosts in this universe (that i stupidly wrote somewhere in my docs years a go bc idk what to do with my OCs) can be explained both supernaturally and scientifically. The reason why some ppl can have clairvoyance (present) as well as being able to tell the future or read minds (past) is because of a diety called "Saint of Days" or "Diurna". She lost one eye on each three faces (dawn, noon, dusk) she has, and those shards have fallen on Earth. Those who have caught the shards on their eyes can have one of the three anomalies, and overtime it got embedded in human lenses (if you search "human lense", it looks like a jelly bean with biconvex shape). The bigger the shard is, the more lustrous and iridescent the irises are.

Her eyes become iridescent/illuminate when reflected against the sun, but this causes her to hallucinate and stop dead on her tracks, hindering her delivery. Hence why she has to do her job late in the evening

When going to school, she always wear her hoodie to keep her eyes from the sun, unless inside the building

Traditional vs New (CN 01)

The evolution of traditional to new media has drastically changed over the years and for the better. There are the four stages. The pre-industrial age, industrial age, electronic age, and the new information age. The pre-industrial age was around the 1700s, there was not much but people hunted for their food, had leaves for clothing, and made things out of iron, copper, and bronze etc. At the time, people drew on the walls of caves and wrote their stories and history there. They also wrote and carved drawings on clay tablets and used it like how we use paper today, this writing system is called cuneiform. In Rome, there is a thing called Acta Diurna, which is kind of like an old newspaper wherein they would carve messages or stories on it for other people to read. Meanwhile in the 2nd Century in China, there is a publication that is called Dibao. In 220 AD, there were printed presses on wooden blocks that were used to write messages and remember the history of their people. In the industrial age, around the 1700s to the 1930s, people learned how to use steam and had steam engines, produce iron and copper, and print books. Some examples of traditional media is the telegraph, which is a device used to transmit messages through a wire by using an electrical connection. In 1876, the telephone was invented. Followed by the printing press, which lets us print in large numbers at a fast rate. Motion picture film was discovered in the 1900s. Next up is the electronic age which is around the 1930s to the 1980s, this is where long distance communication became easier because electric circuits, early computers, and transistor radios were now invented. Transistor radio is a portable radio used to amplify sounds. First ever television was invented in 1941, which is transiting moving images in black and white, which later evolved to have all colors. Mainframe computers which were used in storing important data such as industry statistics and saving important discoveries. Now on to the present, the age we are living today, the information age. Starting from the 1900s to the 2000s, mobile phones and high tech computers were made. Social media took this age by storm and everything is now digitalized and enhanced for more efficiency. Media and communication is continuing to evolve everyday with people discovering more ways to make everyday tasks easier. The portable laptop was introduced in 1980, tablets or Ipads were introduced in 1993, followed by the internet explorer in 1995, skype in 2003, Google was brought upon us in1997, and smartphones and wearable technology is all the rage these days and can be seen everywhere and is very accessible for people. In my opinion, the evolution of traditional to new media is an amazing way to see how far we as humans have evolved and how we will continue to do so until almost everything is just a snap of a finger.

(11/2017) Hace un par de noches, haciendo caso al consejo de un amigo que me dijo que dibujara más, me senté frente a la catedral de Barcelona a eso de las 4am, esa hora en que todos los lugares son el otro extremo a su versión diurna. La explanada frente al edificio estaba casi vacía pero a falta de músicos callejeros y burbujas gigantes me distraje con un pequeño camión eléctrico de aseo que se me atravesó lenta y silenciosamente mientras su conductor bebía relajado una cerveza, interrumpido sólo por las campanas que sonaban con un patrón que jamás pude entender a horas extrañísimas. Vi pasar también a uno que otro turista a pie, en bicicleta y hasta en patines e incluso vi a un amigo de mi amigo (que seguro no me vio al ir en pleno plan de conquista) justo cuando se me apareció una vez más el camioncito de aseo, esta vez muy cerca de la puerta de la catedral y desde el otro lado, secuencia que puso inevitablemente a Benny Hill de fondo en mi cabeza. A pesar de todo esto, lo que más grabado me quedó cuando me paré para ir a casa fue una frase que un hombre sentado unos metros a mi izquierda repetía con ánimo de utilidad pública: "el movimiento sísmico ha sido desarticulado". vox gets wayyy too into his presentation (see: climbing onto chairs and sparking), at once mansplaining and assuming advanced knowledge, resulting in getting extremely wound up when the other overlords aren't as impressed as he wants them to be.

valentino comes with a packed lunch and a body cam, with explicit instructions to shut the fuck up. he sits with the automatic powerpoint that vox prepared playing until he gets bored and starts saying whatever to tick the other overlords off. he singlehandedly wins the idgaf war.

funnily enough, the body cam footage is the most useful, but the other vees are deeply aware that someone will actually murder val one day.
