Discover the Different Fill Power Options for Duck Feather and Down Duvets
Duck feather and down duvets are renowned for their comfort, warmth, and luxurious feel. When shopping for one, it's essential to understand the concept of fill power, as it plays a significant role in determining the duvet's insulation and loft. In this guide, we will explore the different fill power options available for duck feather and down duvets and help you make an informed choice.
Tumblr media
What is Fill Power?
Fill power is a measurement of the quality and insulating ability of the down used in duvets and other bedding products. It indicates how much space one ounce of down occupies in cubic inches. The higher the fill power, the more air the down can trap, resulting in better insulation and loft.
Understanding Fill Power Ratings
Fill power ratings typically range from 500 to 800+, with higher numbers indicating higher quality. Here's a breakdown of the different fill power options:
1. 500 to 600 Fill Power:
Duvets with a fill power in this range contain down that is of lower quality and has larger clusters. While they provide some insulation and comfort, they may not be as warm or as lofty as duvets with higher fill power. These options are suitable for individuals who prefer a lighter, less puffy duvet.
2. 600 to 700 Fill Power:
This range represents mid-tier options and is a popular choice for many. Duvets in this category offer a good balance between warmth and loft. They are suitable for most climates and seasons and are often considered a cost-effective choice.
3. 700 to 800+ Fill Power:
Duvets in this range are considered premium quality. They contain high-quality down with smaller, more insulating clusters. They offer exceptional warmth and loft, making them ideal for colder climates and winter use. These duvets tend to be lightweight yet incredibly warm.
Factors to Consider When Choosing Fill Power:
Climate and Season: The climate in your region and the season during which you intend to use the duvet play a significant role in choosing the right fill power. If you live in a colder climate or prefer a warmer duvet, opt for higher fill power. Conversely, if you live in a milder climate or want a lightweight duvet for summer, lower fill power may suffice.
Personal Preference: Your personal comfort preference is essential. Some people prefer a heavier, puffy duvet, while others like a lighter, flatter one. Consider your sleep habits and whether you tend to run hot or cold when deciding on fill power.
Budget: Higher fill power often comes with a higher price tag. It's essential to balance your budget with your desired level of warmth and comfort. Keep in mind that a premium-quality duvet with a higher fill power can be a long-term investment.
Allergies: If you or your family members have allergies, consider opting for a duvet with hypoallergenic down or synthetic fill. These options can provide the warmth and comfort of down without triggering allergies.
Duvet Weight: Fill power is not the only factor that affects the weight of a duvet. The size and amount of down used also contribute to its overall weight. If you prefer a lighter duvet, even with a high fill power, choose one with less fill.
Maintenance: Higher fill power duvets often require less filling to achieve the desired level of warmth, making them easier to maintain and fluff. However, they may also be more delicate, so proper care is crucial.
Ethical Considerations: Some people prefer to choose duvets with responsibly sourced down, which ensures that the down is obtained without causing harm to animals. Look for certifications like the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) when making your purchase.
Additional Tips:
Always check the product label or description to find the fill power rating of the duvet you're interested in.
Consider using a duvet cover to protect your investment and extend the lifespan of your duvet.
Keep in mind that while higher-fill power duvets tend to be warmer, individual differences in insulation preferences can vary.
Fill power is a critical factor to consider when choosing a duck feather and down duvet. The right fill power will provide you with the warmth, comfort, and loft you desire, while also aligning with your budget and climate needs. Whether you prefer a lightweight summer duvet or a cozy winter one, understanding fill power will help you make an informed decision and ensure a good night's sleep year-round.

_________________________________________________
six weeks. six long and lonely weeks since you been away from oscar. the empty side of the bed, the lonely nights clutching your pillow instead of him, it felt like you became too familiar to it. and you hate it. sure, it's not the first time that you're apart due to his f1 commitments, but it had never lasted that long. usually, you always find a way to join him during the grand prix, to support him and share his world, but this time was different, you needed to stay here in australia to get some things done.
the fact that you couldn't make it to the races made a gnawing sensation grow in your stomach. but today was finally the day, the day he come back for a precious week before diving back into his f1 driver life — with you by his side this time.
every minute spent apart from oscar felt like an eternity, and you couldn't bear to miss a single moment of his time back home. so you decided to meet him at the airport. the anticipation built as the minutes ticked away, making your heart race with a mix of excitement and impatience.
the moment oscar appears, the world faded into the background. there were no greetings, no words exchanged; you just fall into each other's arms, holding each other as if there is no tomorrow.
as you pull away, your eyes meets his and you exchange a loving and long gaze. a smile appears on both of your lips and you don't even need words to understand each other. just the sparks in his eyes makes you understand how much he missed you. oscar's hands cup your cheeks, caressing them, it's like he wanted to make sure that you're real, that you're here with him.
your lips meets in a kiss that contain all the longing and love you've been storing up during your time apart. the kiss is slow and gentle, you're tenderly exploring of each other's mouths and you can feel the butterflies explode in your stomach. it seems like the world around you fade away as the kiss deepen, full of hunger.
oscar's hands found a way to your waist, pulling you impossibly closer. your bodies fits like missing puzzle pieces and the kiss become more urgent, as you could never get enough of each other.
out of breath and after what felt like an eternity, you finally pull away and your eyes meets his again, the sparks in it brighter than before. you can't help but smile, your hands sliding in his messy hair, trying to adjust it.
"i missed you", he places a kiss on your nose, "so much, baby". your smile grows bigger and you plant a sweet peck on his lips, "i missed you more" you whisper against his kissed lips before sliding your hand in his, intertwining your fingers, "let's get you home, babe"
the way home was filled with silly stories and laughs, accompanied by stolen kisses while oscar kept his eyes on the road. when you finally made it in the apartment that you and oscar shared, you could feel the heavy weight on your heart beginning to lift and the discomfort in your stomach has been replaced by the warmth of oscar's presence.
oscar messily throw his stuff in the corner of your shared bedroom. he just have one thought in mind right now; holding you as close as he can for as long as he can. so, with a tug on your waist, he fall backward onto the bed, pulling you down with him. he gazes as you with intensity, taking time to examine every details of your face, as if he wanted to paint them in his brain forever.
"god, you look even more beautiful than when i left," he murmured, and you couldn't help but blush, your cheeks warming with a rush of affection. without hesitation, you leaned in to capture his lips in a tender kiss. oscar's hands slid instinctively beneath your shirt, sending shivers directly down your spine. it's like oscar was discovering your body all over again, his hands exploring every inch of your stomach, chest, and back, making you whimper through the kiss, which had now become far more intense.
oscar never truly understood the depth of his love for you until these weeks without you. he didn't realize how much he cherishes having you by his side every day, with the joy of your smile constantly brightening his days. he treasure the way you always make sure that he's okay, that he's sleeping and eating well. how you always make sure that he feels loved and happy. every little habits of yours, endearing or not, was something that oscar adores. he loves everything about you. maybe being apart for a while had his advantages because oscar finally realized that he's crazy in love with you.
lost in his thoughts, oscar doesn't even notice that you're now both naked. you look at him, a bit puzzled and concerned, your hand stroking softly his cheek. "hey, you're okay, baby?" you ask softly, a little out of breath from the intense make out session. your question remains unanswered, oscar is too captivated, gazing at you as though you hold the entire universe in your eyes.
"i love you" he suddenly says, his chest filled with all sort of overwhelming emotions. your eyes widen, a sudden wave of emotion washing over your entire body. you can't help but lose yourself into oscar's eyes, which are so sincere and tender that your heart feels like it could burst out of your chest at any moment.
"oscar... i..." you whisper hesitantly, the words getting stuck in your throat due to the overwhelming feelings traveling your body. but as soon as you feel oscar's body tense beneath yours and his look changing, you immediately panic and grab his face. you give him the softest look you can, filling it with all the adoration you have for him, saying "i love you, so much".
without any words, oscar pulls you for an hungry kiss, his hands firmly placed on your waist so he can pull you as close as he can. as you moan through the kiss, oscar seized the opportunity to slide his tongue into your mouth, and your two tongues began to dance in perfect harmony. the kiss feels so different, a whole new feeling filling both of your body and it just makes you crave for more.
his lips leaves yours, traveling your jawline to end up on your neck that he start to mark, gently sucking and kissing your skin. the continuous whimpers coming out of your mouth encourages him to go further; his fingers finds your nipples, playing with them. like it's not already enough for you, his mouth joins his fingers, making you a moan mess and your hands slid into his curls.
"oscar..." you whine, looking down at him and he looks back, his lips ghosting your nipple. "what is it, baby?", he knows exactly what you want but he wants to hear you say it. "please..." you pout, your grip on his hair getting slightly firmer. "use your words", his tone is so soft but yet so authoritarian. oscar loves how you missed him and his touch, feeling so wanted by the person he loves create a new sensation inside him that feels so exciting.
"oscar! please stop teasing" you groan softly and he chuckles, kissing both of your nipples and he doesn't hesitate to take his sweet time to get to your core, he even stops to admire it and then his eyes goes back to yours, "fuck, i missed your pussy so much", you can't help but blush, and your thighs instinctively closes. you break the eye contact to throw your head backward and oscar just smirks. he will never get over the effet he has on you, enjoying every single second of it.
"eyes on me, sweetheart" after making sure that you're looking and that your legs are opened for him, he doesn't waste any more minutes and start making out with your pussy, sucking softly on your clit to taste you and a soft groan escapes from his lips, feeling overwhelmed by the missed feeling.
you, on the other side, is a literal mess, you could feel all the sensations you felt the first time he ate you out. with a hand on his hair, you arch your back, repetitively moaning his name and oscar is now completely pussy drunk. he's eating you out like there's no tomorrow and it doesn't take you long to reach your climax, not even finding the time to warn him. it didn't stop him though, his tongue keeps lapping your core, tasting you again and again, never getting enough of your pussy. he makes sure to lick you clean, not leaving any drop of your juice.
"you taste so fucking good" he groans, looking at you proudly and pulling you for a messy kiss. completely breathless and shaking from the orgasm, you try your best to kiss him back. the kiss is sloppy, both craving for more. it gets even messier when two of oscar's fingers slips inside you. you can't even keep up with the kiss, too busy trying to control your moans and the way your body shakes.
"you're feeling so good, so wet, just for me" you can feel his breath against your neck and it drives you completely insane. it's not like you didn't think about this when oscar was away, touching yourself for hours and imagining his fingers deep inside you. but, right now, it's not your imagination. everything is real; his fingers inside you, his lips on your neck, his words. just by this thought, you feel another orgasm grow in your stomach, holding tight into oscar's busy arm.
"coming... oscar!" you almost scream and oscar just keeps going, even fastening his moves to accompany you through your orgasm. he places gentle kisses all over your neck, whispering sweet words and telling you how good you are doing. it's just too much for you, your back arch as you reach your climax and you unconsciously plant your nails into oscar's skin, moaning his name a few times.
oscar leaves a few more kisses on your neck and jawline, making sure you catch your breath before going back to kissing you, softer this time. you try to transfer all of your feelings through the kiss and oscar can feel every single of it, making his heart explode in his chest. your bodies won't leave each other, like they're meant to be linked forever, fitting each other like puzzle pieces.
completely dizzy, oscar pull out to admire you, his eyes brightening and he's completely dazzled by you. "i want to make love to you" he whispers softly, his fingers ghosting your cheek like you're the rarest piece of art ever. you didn't even know that your heart was capable of taking that much love and affection.
"do it. i'm all yours." you whisper back, like the world around you doesn't exist anymore and it's just you two and your love. oscar can feel his chest burning from all the mixed feelings and he swears that he could go crazy just by looking at you.
with sweet touches and whispers, he makes love to you during hours, trying to make up for lost time. he doesn't hesitate to remind you how much he loves you and he missed you every time you kiss.
maybe being apart from you wasn't that bad, but oscar doesn't want you to be far from him ever again. in fact, he needs you forever.

Birthday morning— OP81
Waking up early isn't Oscar's thing, especially not on his birthday, but he's always, always up for cuddles — Oscar Piastri x f!reader, sleepy Oscar, no use of y/n, implied nsfw content word count: 1.6k a/n: Please ignore that I didn't actually post this on his birthday because I kinda forgot I wrote this in the first place
Tumblr media
A soft groan slips past your lips as you slowly wake up, the sun tickling your face. You try to stretch your body but find yourself trapped in Oscar's arms. His embrace is nice and cozy, his bare chest warm against your skin.
Your eyelids flutter a little as you try to get used to the light filtering into the hotel room through the small space by the window you must've forgotten to cover with the curtain last night after you and Oscar got back from the track.
Instinctively your hand reaches for your phone and you squint as the screen lights up, displaying that one picture of you and Oscar his mum took when you were in Australia over Christmas. It was very weird celebrating Christmas in the middle of summer at first. Well, for you at least.
Your eyes flick up to the time. 7:12
With a sigh you let your head fall back onto the soft pillow. Oscar's got you trapped in a hug and you can't even get up to close the curtain in order to darken the room, so going back to sleep is going to be impossible. Great.
You turn in Oscar's embrace so you're facing his chest that rises and falls gently with every soft breath he takes. His hair is a little tousled and his face squished against the pillow. He looks so beautiful with the light from outside gently illuminating his skin in a soft morning light.
Your eyes travel over his features that look so gentle and innocent as he sleeps— he's got a bit of acne like so many people your age, the freckles that adorn his cheeks aren't that visible yet, but as soon as summer comes around and he sees some sun they'll be more noticeable. His skin is smooth, the stubble he was trying out now gone after you convinced him to shave it.
You let your eyes travel down to his arms as you lazily trace your index finger along one, noticing the firm muscles that tense and relax under your touch until you reach his hand. Your hand reaches for his and you absentmindedly start playing with his fingers, admiring how nice his hand looks.
A quiet groan escapes you as your eyes land on the window again. Sleep isn't on the table anymore. Once the sun is up, that option is out the window.
Your finger trails up Oscar's left arm once more, gently grazing his skin with your nail as you do so. He stirs a bit, a quiet grumble making it's way past his lips.
"Happy birthday," you greet him softly as a smile spreads across your face, careful not to startle him. Your boyfriend however only lets out a soft hum of acknowledgement and keeps his eyes closed as he pulls you in closer and buries his face in your neck.
"Come on," you giggle a bit and brush some of Oscar's hair away from his forehead, a soft smile making its way onto his features at the tender touch. "It's your birthday."
"No..." his voice is drowsy, a bit of a lazy whine as his lips curve up slightly into an almost pouty expression.
The sheets rustle a bit as he shifts in bed, trying to get closer to you. His body is so warm, his skin so soft, and you can't help but smile as you wrap your arms around him, stroking his hair with one hand.
"Yes, it is," you chuckle in reply and place a soft kiss against his temple. "And I'm not gonna let you have a boring birthday morning before Qualifying."
"Can it be boring if I'm just with you?" he mumbles, his words muffled and barely understandable with his face pressed against your neck.
Oscar lets out a soft happy sound and his hand squeezes yours, pulling it towards him. "Mh... comfy..." he mutters and moves his head out of the crook of your neck a bit, only one eye open. "What time is it even?"
His words are laced with sleep, his voice raspy, coated thickly in his accent. It always comes out more when he's just woken up.
"Like, 7:15?" you reply and shrug, not bothering to actually check. "Come on, Osc.. Be excited or something."
"I don't wanna..." his words trail off as he mutters something else from under the blanket he's got pulled up over his chin. "It's too early... And you're comfy." In a smooth motion, he runs his hand up your torso to give your waist a gentle squeeze and feel your soft, warm skin against his.
"And you're being boring," you sigh and let your head drop against his. "What if I had something planned, mh?"
A lazy chuckle leaves Oscar's lips as he snuggles in closer to you. "What if I just wanna stay here with you?" he hums a little and lets his body sinks into yours.
"What would you even plan that's better than sleep?" he queries, his voice still a bit raspy and his face scrunched up as the light shines into his face through the window.
"I'm sure I could come up with something," you shrug and nuzzle your face against his hair, pressing a soft kiss there. Oscar's body begins to relax more, melting into your embrace as he holds you close to his chest.
"Does it involve having to leave this bed before I have to head to work?" he asks with a sigh as you start to gently scratch his scalp. "If so, my answer's no. I'd say I'm rather content here."
"Come on, birthday boy," you let out a chuckle and tilt his face towards you, your lips brushing against his. "Cheer up. You're 23!"
"I know... don't remind me," your boyfriend grumbles, but can't help the hint of a smile that tugs at his lips when yours brush against them.
"But it can't get better than this... It's warm here.. and comfortable.. and you smell nice.. what else do I need?" His voice trails off into silence as he relaxes in your arms, sighing contently.
"Aw, so sweet," you chuckle teasingly, nose lightly bumping against Oscar's as you lean forward, causing him to scrunch up his face.
"Mmhh... don't laugh," Oscar grumbles and lets out a soft whine as his lips curl into a pout. He reaches up and his hand finds your cheek, rubbing gentle circles with his thumb. "I'm still tired, and you're being mean."
"How am I being mean?" you laugh and prop yourself up on your arm to get a better view of his face.
"You're literally laughing," he huffs but you know he's not being serious. "I just wanna sleep in a bit with you..." His thumb continues to gently rub soft circles on your cheek as he lets the other hand come to rest on your hip, his arm and hand curling around you to pull you against him so you can get a bit more comfortable.
"Alright, alright," you say defensively and scrunch up your face when he leans down and his hair tickles your face. "If that's what you want."
"Exactly. It's my birthday and choose staying in bed," his voice is still a bit raspy, but he's obviously no longer on the verge of falling asleep again. He doesn't seem to want to talk that much, he's content with just holding you in his arms, cuddling.
Oscar nuzzles his face against you again, taking a deep breath. "You smell nice," he tells you again as his hand pulls your hip a bit closer, his eyes closing as he leans his head a little more into you. "Like... lilac."
"I should hope so. I paid some good money for this perfume," you reply with a smile and lean in to give Oscar's lips a gentle kiss. They're soft and the way his hand lands behind your neck almost instinctively makes you feel safe.
Your boyfriend lets out a soft hum of agreement, his lips pressing against yours a little harder, taking the kiss in as he leans his forehead against yours. His grip tightens around you, holding you close as his hand finds your hip and squeezes ever so slightly, his fingers gently tracing the soft dip of your waistline.
You twist in his embrace to grab your phone once more and check the time, which allows Oscar's arms to snake around your waist from behind.
"Almost eight," you mutter with a sigh and rest your head on the soft mattress once more before shifting out from underneath the covers, finally stretching your arms.
"Hey, hey, where're you going?" Oscar inquiries and blinks a little in confusion, his hand reaching out to grab yours as you sit up.
"I gotta shower, baby," you sigh and swing your legs off the bed. "I still have to get ready and we need to go down for breakfast and you have to be at the track by ten."
The smile on Oscar's face falls slightly as you slip away from his embrace, his fingers wrapping around your own as you make your way out of the bed.
"But I just like being in bed with you," he complains somewhat half-jokingly, his other hand reaching out to you as he tries to stop you from escaping.
"Come on, just a bit longer," he whines and lets his head fall back onto the pillow where he lets his body sink into the mattress once more.
"You can come with me if you want," you suggest with a small smile and the most subtle of winks before turning to leave the bedroom in the direction of the bathroom.
At the mention of joining you, Oscar is wide awake, sitting up in bed with an excited smile as he watches you leave the room, his gaze following your figure before he rolls out of bed himself.
You feel a smile tugging at your lips as you take notice of the footsteps behind you and feel his strong arms wrap around your waist, his lips finding their way to your neck, knowing you did manage to make his birthday morning not so boring in the end.

End of the World IV
Katie McCabe x Child!Reader
Caitlin Foord x Child!Reader
Summary: Christmas in Australia
Tumblr media
Before Christmas, there was an argument.
Ma wanted to take you with her for Christmas but Mammy also wanted to take you.
There was a big argument, like how there's always an argument when Ma and Mammy are in the same room.
You end up with Mammy though because she was doing more 'child safe' things. That means you're in Australia with her and Caitlin.
Australia is hot at Christmas and you don't think you like that. Mammy had to buy you a whole new wardrobe because your summer clothes are stuck in boxes in the loft and Mammy couldn't get them out in time because Ma decided too late to let you go with her.
You're on a beach right now, digging your toe into the sand in unease as Mammy tries to get you to step foot in the sea.
You shake your head. "No."
"Kiddo," She says," Come on. It's just the ocean. It won't hurt you."
You keep shaking your head. "Ma said that Australia's oceans have sharks that will eat me."
Katie sighs deeply, cursing Ruesha in her mind before Caitlin steps forward.
"I can look after her," She says," At least until you're done swimming."
"Are you sure?" Katie checks. She knows that Caitlin is still a little wary around you and she doesn't want to make either of you feel awkward.
"It's fine," Caitlin insists," We'll have fun in the sand. It'll be good."
You're still holding your bucket and spade as Caitlin leads you away from Mammy. You sniffle a little bit as Mammy paddles out into the sea leaving you with Caitlin alone.
She sets you up next to the towels and the big basket of stuff she and Mammy brought with. You stare at her. She stares back.
"So," Caitlin says," Do you want to make a sandcastle?"
You sniffle.
Caitlin's eyes go wide.
"Wait! No, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you sad! We don't need to make sandcastles!"
You burst into tears and Caitlin grows even more panicked.
"Is it the sand? We can go and sit on the steps!"
"Mammy!" You whine, reaching out towards Katie has disappeared into the sea," Mammy's gone!"
Caitlin follows your gaze. "Oh, she's not gone. She's just out swimming."
"Mammy!" You cry again, tears spilling down your cheeks," The sharks are gonna get her!"
"They won't," Caitlin tries to assure you.
"They will!" You insist," Ma said the sharks in Australia are always in the sea."
Cautiously, Caitlin reaches out for you. She gently manoeuvres you into her lap and you let her. "See that lifeguard there?" She points at a man in a big chair," And that building over there? They make sure that sharks aren't in the water."
"Really?"
"Yep," Caitlin says," If any sharks swim in then they tell everyone so no one goes in the water."
You wipe your nose on the towel that's been wrapped around you. "Promise?"
"I promise, kiddo. Katie'll be very safe. Do you want to build a sandcastle now?"
You shake your head, fisting the strap of Caitlin's swimsuit. "No thank you. Stay like this please."
Caitlin tries not to let her shock show as she nods. "Sure, yeah, we can stay like this."
Katie isn't quite sure what to say when she gets out of the water to see Caitlin trying to sunbathe with a limp and sleeping you lying on her chest.
"Hey," Katie says, with a little smile," What's all this then?"
"She was convinced the sharks were going to eat you," Caitlin replies with an eye roll, gently tracing patterns against your back," But she's fine now."
"Well," Katie says," I think that's our cue to head back and have our own naps. She's dead to the world right now."
"What about lunch?"
Katie shrugs as she very carefully picks you up, adjusting you so your head is buried in her neck. "We can get a late lunch afterwards. The little miss needs an actual pillow to rest her head." She looks down at you with a wince. You're truly, deeply asleep. "And maybe a pull up too."
Caitlin and Katie end up asleep as well and Katie wakes up groggy to small hands shaking her shoulder.
Caitlin's arm is thrown over her shoulder as she blinks awake.
"Kiddo?" She asks," What's wrong?"
"I'm hungry, Mammy," You say," Can we have lunch now?"
"Yeah, we can get lunch. Let me just get Caitlin up."

off the table (BLACKPINK Rosé)
Tumblr media
word count: 13.5K
(meh, could've turned out better, but it'll suffice)
-- -- --
The door slams, startling you enough to flinch as you drop your controller on the carpet. When you pick it up to continue with your game, there’s a dramatic sigh.
“Everything okay?” You ask politely, rolling your eyes when you see your opponent score a basket since you weren’t able to play defense.
“No,” Rosie says flatly. You hear her keys tossed on the entry table before she sighs again.
“Do you want to talk about it?” You offer. You even pause the game.
“Maybe later,” Rosie says as she passes by, “I’m going to bed.”
“Oh alright, well—” You aren’t able to finish your sentence because the sound of her door shuts before you can.
You shrug, indifferent to her mood. You unpause the game, continuing on as if nothing happened.
If there’s one thing you’ve learned about her, she’ll talk to you when she’s ready.
-- --
You were desperate at the time. There were too many things happening at once, that you forgot to look where you were going to live next. The only reason remembered was because the building manager showed up at your condo to do an inspection—a week before your move-out date.
It was your fault, ignoring the paper notices in your pile of mail and the emails that flooded your inbox. You had just finished the last of your exams. Your job pushed you to take, time passing by, that it completely slipped your mind.
Once the inspection was over, you called everyone and anyone you knew if they had a spare room on short notice. Most of them were either living with their significant others or had a roommate already.
Except for Lisa.
She was the only one with a viable lead. One of her best friends had recently moved back to Seoul from Australia and needed someone to offset the cost of the mortgage.
You found out Lisa’s friend was a woman. You were hesitant because you had never lived with a woman except for your mother and sister when you were younger. You voiced the concern to Lisa, who laughed because you were ‘too adorable’ and that it didn’t matter to Chaengie if she lived with a man.
You bit the bullet and agreed to meet with Chaengie, come to find out her name was actually Chaeyoung or Roseanne, but she preferred Rosie if you called her by her English name.
Rosie was nice enough, easily charming you and making you feel comfortable when Lisa introduced you at her place.
It was a nice condo in one of the more luxurious areas of Seoul. Open floor concept with floor-to-ceiling windows and separate rooms on opposite sides of the unit had you wondering what Rosie did. When you found out she was a lawyer, it made sense for her to afford a place like this. You were on the fence about what your share would be because it couldn’t be cheap, likely double what you were paying for your condo.
After the brief tour, there wasn’t much since it was half-furnished, Rosie surprised you by telling you that you could pay as much as you do for your current place. She could afford the mortgage on her own, but she wanted someone to live with more than worrying about the money.
It was a no-brainer, a steal in your opinion because living here at a discounted rate would work in your favor. Plus with passing your exams, you were expecting a bump in your salary.
You agreed, promising that it would only be temporary until things settled down. At most, six months was what you projected, but Rosie said to stay for however long you liked.
That was almost a year ago.
Living with Rosie wasn’t what you expected.
You had no experience with living with a woman and the last time you had a roommate was when you were at university.
You figured she’d want her space, not wanting to intrude or bother her whenever she was home. In the beginning, you kept to your room for the most part unless you had to cook, which wasn’t often. Your job had you putting in long hours at the office that you would crash as soon as your head hit the pillow.
It wasn’t until about a month or so in of living together and work slowed down, allowing you to come home at a decent hour when Rosie knocked on your door, asking if you wanted to watch a movie together.
That was the turning point where it became calling her your roommate seemed like an inaccurate description.
You spent more time with Rosie, getting to know her on a personal level. She had this way of sharing about herself that made you want to share too, something you hardly did. She made you laugh as she told you about her day. She would make you eat actual food instead of relying on takeout, asking you to help her cook.
She was someone you admired that it created a dilemma when you realized you developed romantic feelings for her.
It was short-lived because you found out by accident that she didn’t see you as anything more than a really good friend.
You woke up late one Sunday morning. You heard voices in the kitchen, which wasn’t out of the norm as Rosie had her friends over frequently. It was a conversation you shouldn’t have listened to, but curiosity got the best of you when your name came up.
You recognized the voice—Jennie, one of Rosie’s friends you met a few times—asked, giggling, “Have you slept with him yet?”
“What? Unnie, that’s absurd. He’s my roommate,” Rosie answered, heavy emphasis on the label.
You were hiding, tucked around the hallway corner as the women conversed. Your mother used to scold you for eavesdropping, but you couldn’t bring yourself to move.
“So? He’s hot,” Jennie stated matter-of-factly. You blushed at her comment. “He looks like he works out and there’s something about him that I know he’s just good in bed.”
“Jennie!” You imagined Rosie’s face shocked at her friend’s brazenness. “He’s my roommate,” She emphasized again. “I have not, and will not, ever look at him like that. He’s a really good guy, but he’s off limits.”
“Does that include me?” You heard Jennie yelp after her question, the sound of skin-on-skin contact was enough. “If you’re not going to sleep with him, why can’t I?!”
You didn’t bother listening anymore, deciding that you would go to the gym instead of joining them for brunch. You walked away feeling a little dejected, knowing where you stood with her, but you respected it. Things could get messy, especially since you lived together.
(Though if you stayed a minute more, you would’ve heard Rosie say that she thought about asking you out once you move out.)
As time went on, your feelings for her grew. It was hard not to, with how much time you spent together, your friends even asked if Rosie was your girlfriend based on how you often mentioned her.
It wasn’t like you could not not talk about her. She became part of your routine, part of your life that you found yourself riddled with guilt whenever you went out on dates with women who were genuinely interested in you. You were certain you would’ve been too, if your feelings for her didn’t loom.
That didn’t stop Rosie from telling you about her dating life. It wasn’t as detailed compared to if she was talking to Lisa or Jennie, but it was enough to sting every time.
You made a rule to yourself that you’d never bring a woman over, keeping those activities away. You were human after all, and you had needs.
Rosie was unaware of the self-imposed rule, and there were a few times you caught her night-time partners leaving in the morning. Sometimes it would be the same person. Other times just passing flings you never saw again.
It was what it was, and Rosie didn’t seem in a rush for you to move out.
Though at some point, you would have to. You didn’t want to overextend your stay. You hoped to remain friends with her, regardless of how you felt.
It would probably make it easier for you to get over these unnecessary feelings.
Right?
-- --
You scoop the sliced up fruit into the blender, eyeballing how much milk you needed, when Rosie walks into the kitchen. You send her an easy smile before turning the machine on to blend the ingredients so you could make it to work on time.
Rosie stands on the other side of the kitchen island, waiting for you to finish. When you’re done, she says, “I’m sorry about last night.”
You raise an eyebrow, “For…?”
“I felt that I was short with you. You didn’t deserve that,” Rosie says apologetically.
“It’s nothing to worry about,” You smile, nodding reassuringly. “Whatever happened, just know you can talk to me.”
“I know,” Rosie returns the smile, standing abruptly to make her way over to you as she wraps her arms around you. You hope she didn’t feel you tense up because any physical affection with her leaves you dizzy. “I might be home a little later tonight. Jennie and Lisa want to take me out.”
“Okay, just text me if you need me to pick you up,” You can’t stop smiling around her. “I’ll probably just be here, playing video games.”
Rosie makes a humming sound, sinking into your body before taking a sip of your smoothie. “You haven’t been on any dates recently, everything okay?”
The statement throws you off. It’s not like Rosie isn’t aware of your dating life and when you’re not home, but she’s never said anything like that.
“Er, I just noticed you haven’t been out as much,” She backtracks, her hand rubbing your back.
“Been busy with work,” You reply noncommittally. It’s true, work has been busy with your boss on your ass about finishing the security protocol for the new application that was developed. You probably should find some sort of release to ease the tension, but that could wait.
“Well don’t work too hard, okay?” Rosie looks up at you, eyes filled with worry that you’re overexerting yourself. She boops your nose, grinning when you make a face. She lets go of you and blows you a kiss, “I’ll see you later. Have a good day!”
And with that, Rosie’s out of the condo, leaving you more confused because that was just weird. It was even weirder that you missed her close to you, but that was something you were familiar with.
Oh well.
--
Someone’s trying to break in.
It sounds like it, based on the aggressive knocking on the front door that has you rushing out of the shower. You only have enough time to throw on a pair of sweats, that when you swing open the door, wolf whistles ring through your ears as your eyes fall on Rosie first before realizing she’s being held up by Jennie and Lisa.
“What the fuck happened?” You step aside as they usher your roommate inside, worry etching across your face.
“Jeez,” Jennie scoffs, “Hi to you too, oppa.”
Once you close the door, you immediately reach for Rosie, steadying her as Lisa takes her shoes off.
“You smell nice,” Rosie slurs out, nose falling right in the crook of your neck. You stumble slightly, bringing an arm around her back to make sure she doesn’t topple over. “Did you just come back from working out?” She asks, sighing contentedly against your skin.
“Yes,” You nod, hoping she or her friends don’t see your cheeks turn red. “Are you okay?”
Rosie giggles, nodding deeper into your neck, “Just a little drunk.” She holds up her thumb and finger in front of your face, meaning she’s really drunk.
You practically carry her to the sofa with Jennie and Lisa in tow. They’re whispering something about you and you hear the latter mention how toned you are. Your face feels hot, but you avoid looking at them by having Rosie sit.
“I’ll be right back,” You say as they sit on either side of Rosie. Her head falls on Lisa’s shoulder, eyes barely open. “I’m going to put a shirt on.”
“Please,” Jennie smirks, “By all means. None of us mind if you don’t.”
You roll your eyes after she winks, earning a chuckle from Lisa. You refuse to engage anymore, not giving either of them the satisfaction, and leave to your room.
When you return, fully clothed, Lisa is nowhere to be found and Rosie’s much more awake than when she arrived. Jennie’s over in the kitchen, pouring a glass of water, raising the pitcher to you, which you shake your head.
“You okay?”
Rosie nods, shyly looking away, “I’m sorry. I don’t mean to be like this.”
“It’s—”
“Chaeng, you literally got dumped for something so stupid,” Jennie cuts you off, aggressively slamming the fridge door. “It’s fine that you got drunk. You deserve to. You look hot, and people noticed.”
There’s a lot of information to process, but you focus on the fact that Rosie had a boyfriend and you weren’t aware of it.
“Uh,” You aren’t sure how to respond.
“We’ll tell you about it,” Jennie appears in front of Rosie, holding the glass to her lips. “Lisa just went out to get some soju and beer.”
This wasn’t how you expected your night to go, but it looked like you didn’t have much of a choice.
--
You take whatever Lisa bought out of the bag. It consisted of soju and beer along with a bunch of snacks that seemed a lot like Rosie’s favorites.
While waiting for Lisa, Rosie changed into more comfortable clothes. She asked if she could wear your hoodie since you left it out, which you didn’t see any issue with. Jennie, on the other hand, snickered as if there was some secret you weren’t a part of.
You wanted to know what happened between Rosie and her boyfriend, but you didn’t want to be nosey. You respect her privacy, especially since you didn’t know she had one in the first place.
As Lisa places the glasses on the coffee table, Jennie tells you the reason why Rosie got too drunk at happy hour to make it to the club.
Apparently Rosie’s now ex-boyfriend was an asshole.
Just not in the way you’d think.
Jennie waits to see if Rosie will elaborate behind you, but her eyes are closed, head resting on one of the pillows. When there’s no response, Lisa asks a question that had you almost dropping the bottle you’re pouring.
“What?” You stop what you’re doing, staring dumbfounded at the two women across from you.
“Don’t act like you didn’t hear her,” Jennie rolls her eyes. “Are you against foreplay?”
“What the fuck kind of question is that?” You feel the tips of your ears burn because you might consider these two your friends, but they weren’t your friends that you spoke with things like this with.
“An honest one,” Lisa answers, taking the bottle out of your hand to continue pouring the shots. “You’re of the male species, so we want your perspective on it.”
You piece together what kind of asshole Rosie was with, and that could never be you.
“No,” You mumble. “I’m not.”
“Like you actually do it, right? It’s not just rubbing your dick over the girl and calling it foreplay?” Jennie’s choice of words has you annoyed.
“What? You know what foreplay is, right?” You grab the shot glass, taking it in one go because it’s very much needed with where this conversation is heading. You ignore the scowls on their faces when you drink without them.
“I do,” Jennie points to herself, then tilts her head to Lisa, “She does too, but Chaeng, on the other hand, hasn’t been with someone who’s as… let’s say, giving in that department.”
“Leave him alone you two,” Rosie yawns, stretching her arms up before sitting up. “I don’t want to talk about it anymore. Let’s just keep drinking.” She reaches over you, since you’re sitting on the rug, and takes the soju bottle instead of a glass.
Everyone watches Rosie take a lengthy swig before sinking back into the sofa. The defeated look on her face makes you want to hug her, which you will, but not in the presence of her friends. They’d relentlessly tease you both, something you can’t handle. There’s two of them.
“To shitty sex?” Lisa raises her glass.
“The absolute shittiest sex,” Rosie adds, holding the bottle up.
You have thoughts about that, but you can’t let yourself get too deep in them. It doesn’t help with the little (big) crush you have on her.
You’re most likely delusional, but you think you could be someone that would show her what real sex was like.
Then again, like she’d give you a chance.
--
“Get home safely, okay?” Lisa smiles, nodding as she holds Jennie up. “Make sure she drinks water.”
“God, you’re so fucking nice,” Jennie slurs, eyes barely open. “Why don’t you just date Chaeng? She’d be so much happier. You’re also, like, really hot.”
“Okay!” Lisa pulls her a little roughly, glaring even though Jennie is oblivious. “Time to go. Thanks again for having us over, we’ll see you soon.” She rushes out, turning before her friend could say anything else.
You chuckle as they walk away, Lisa muttering something to Jennie that has you wondering how much truth there is to that statement. It’s a nice ego boost to find out Jennie, and by extension, Rosie, think of you as attractive. Even if it’s on a superficial, physical level.
After you shut the door, you find your roommate curled on the couch. You wonder if she’s still awake, knowing she switched to water while the three of you continued drinking. You grab one of the blankets, unfolding it, when she yawns.
“I’m still awake,” Rosie mumbles, one eye opening that stops you from covering her. “I’m sorry about tonight.”
“You’ve apologized to me three times today,” You cover her body anyways, joining her on the couch. She gets cold easily. “You have nothing to be sorry for. I’m sorry you’ve been having shitty sex.”
Rosie groans, burying her face into the pillow, “God, that’s fucking embarrassing too. I’m sorry you—”
“It’s fine,” You wave dismissively. “Seriously though, that’s terrible.”
“Tell me about it,” Rosie sighs dejectedly, shaking her head. “For once, can’t a guy I date just return the favor?”
You try not to react, but the alcohol you’ve consumed has lowered your inhibitions, so you boldly ask, “Has no one ever gone down on you?”
Rosie sits up, tilting her head curiously as she stares at you, “Well people have, but I guess never enough for me to enjoy it? I don’t know. Lisa and Jennie hookup from time to time, and share, in great detail, what they do. It makes me wonder if I’m missing out.”
“I’d say you probably are,” You nod, recollecting memories of the women you’ve slept with thoroughly enjoying the action when you do it. You get off on it alone, but that’s because you like doing that.
“God, who the hell do I have to meet to experience it then?”
It’s a question you’re not expected to answer, but you find yourself saying, “No one. I can do it.”
You want to smack yourself in the head for even suggesting that. It’s treading into dangerous waters because you have to remind yourself who she is in your life. She’s your roommate, for god’s sake.
“You would?” Rosie asks innocently, as if this was as simple as changing the lightbulb in her room. “Like actually?”
“Um,” You clear your throat, averting your gaze from her imploring one. “Yeah if you really wanted. I enjoy it so I’m not expecting anything in return.” Your face feels on fire.
“Okay,” Rosie nods, and your eyes meet hers. “There’s no pressure if you change your mind.”
You scan her face, searching for something—anything—that she’s actually serious. You can’t tell if she is, and she senses your hesitation by adding, “I’m drunk enough to want it, but not that drunk where I don’t know what I’m doing.”
That gives you some reassurance, but you care the most about how it would affect your friendship. It would have to change something, right? You’ve always separated feelings and sex when it comes to one night stands or flings, but you have real feelings for the woman in front of you, that could either help or hurt you.
You’re not sure which is worse.
When you still don’t say anything, Rosie continues, “It won’t change anything between us. Just think of it as friends helping each other. Well, I guess in this case, you’re just helping me, but I could return the favor?”
You shake your head, “No, that’s unnecessary. I’ll manage.” A flat out lie because you know that you’ll become a ball of sexual frustration. You’ll likely have to reach out to someone in your phone book to help out the problem you’re creating for yourself.
“Are you sure?” Rosie asks softly, hand reaching out to your forearm. Her thumb gently rubs your skin, and your body heats up at the contact.
“Yeah,” You clear your throat, trying to focus on what you’re about to do. “So how do you want to do this?” You’re not sure if kissing is a part of the deal, but you don’t want to push your luck.
A blush appears on Rosie’s cheeks, shyly looking away. “Um, how do you usually do it?”
“Are you really asking me about my moves?” You smirk. It earns you a light slap on the arm. “I don’t have very much.”
Rosie scoffs, leaning back into the couch, “Why do I find that hard to believe?”
“Because I have none,” You chuckle, moving to stand in front of her, in between the couch and coffee table. You kneel, pushing the table slightly back to give you more space. “Comfortable?”
“Nervous,” Rosie breathes out as you settle on your knees.
“Don’t be,” You murmur, reaching for the edge of the blanket. “If you want to stop, just tell me.”
You pull the blanket off, letting it fall to the ground. There’s a sharp inhale and you grin, meeting her eyes locked onto you. “Let me know, okay? I’ll stop, no questions asked.”
“Okay,” Her voice shakes, body trembling as your fingers hook onto the waistband of her sweats.
“This is about you. I can say with one hundred percent confidence that whoever refused to do this is a fucking idiot.” You mean it because with someone like Rosie, she deserves to be worshiped.
And even if you’ll never be her boyfriend, you could do this.
You gently tug her sweats off. She lifts her hips up, making it easier for the both of you, and once the clothing’s removed, you notice her cute underwear. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, just a simple black bikini cut with a small pink bow at the top. It’s adorable really, chuckling that her legs reflexively close.
“Don’t be shy,” You rest your chin on her knee, tilting down to place a soft kiss on her skin. Her legs slowly spread, granting you access to more skin.
“That tickles,” Her body shivers as your lips curl up.
Your fingers grab the waistband of her underwear, slowly dragging it down her legs, watching them join the discarded pile. You settle in between as her knees separate, inviting you to taste her. Your cock stirs at the sight of her pussy, clean and well-kept, that your mouth waters.
You will, but you can’t give in just yet.
You pepper kisses along her inner thigh, ghosting over her skin that has her absolutely squirming. You place your hands on her knees, spreading her wider and holding her still. You alternate between thighs, sucking lightly on the skin. You shouldn’t want to leave marks, but you can’t help it. You’ll deal with the repercussions later.
Because the only thing on your mind is her and her alone.
By the time you reach the apex of her thighs, Rosie sucks in a breath. You briefly glance up to her eyes low, teeth clenching her bottom lip. She gives you the smallest nod before you swipe your tongue in between her folds.
You let out a breathy groan the moment her slick meets your tongue. Your mind shuts off, body turning on auto-pilot as you explore her center.
“Fuck,” The word falls from your mouth after tentative licks in between her folds. She squirms at the ministrations, taste buds ablaze as her slick drips down your chin.
“Holy shit,” Rosie lets out a pretty moan, music to your ears as you insert your tongue inside her pussy.
You swear she gets wetter, the scent of her pussy against your nose has you breathing deeply, soaking all of her in. You move with ease, licking and tasting all she has to offer.
“You’re making a fucking mess,” You growl out when you see the small wet spot form on the couch. You should probably put something under her, but the sounds she’s making are too good to stop.
“I’m so fucking wet,” The sounds she’s making has you moaning against her pussy as your cock pulses in your sweats. “You feel so good.”
Rosie’s hand shoots to your head, fingers threading through your hair. It forces you to look up at her, and you shove your hand underneath your sweats, gripping your cock, because the sight is unholy.
You’ve always been attracted to Rosie, that much was obvious the first day you met her. You’d be an idiot if you didn’t see the stares people threw whenever you were with her. Though, she was oblivious to it all, smiling back that would have them swooning.
But like this?
You’ve never seen anything hotter.
You don’t know when it happened, but her hand slipped underneath her shirt, exposing more skin as she touched breasts, squeezing, massaging as your tongue continued its movement. Her hair’s an unruly mess, hair sticking up as a light sheen of sweat covers her face.
What really gets you is the lust-filled gaze, eyes narrowed, silently asking to continue. You’ve never seen her like this, and you can’t help but stroke your length. You keep your eyes locked on hers, tongue swirling in, over, around her pussy, leaving no spot untouched.
Her grip on your hair tightens as she rolls her hips down, nose brushing against her clit. You slip your hand in between her legs, fingers teasing her outer lips before slowly inserting your index finger.
You watch Rosie’s eyes bulge, gasping, choking for air at the surprised intrusion. Her head tilts back, moaning as she rubs herself over your lower face.
Rosie says your name like a prayer, a promise, an oath, that you’ll keep. You’d live your life in between her legs if it meant you get to hear her moan your name over and over.
“God,” Your eyes roll back, intoxicated by her taste, getting harder the more she squirms against your mouth. “If I’m really the first person to actually do this, you’ve been having shitty sex.”
“You are,” Rosie says through gritted teeth. “I realize that now.”
Her pussy practically sucks you in, your middle finger joining as her walls quickly squeeze around you. You want to make this last, but by the way she feels, and the way her breaths shorten with each inhale, she’s close.
“Fuck,” Rosie’s hand never left your head, shoving your face deeper in her cunt as her legs spread wide, knees touching the couch. “I think I’m going to cum.”
“Go ahead,” You command, too lust-driven to watch what you say. “You’re so fucking hot. You feel so good around me. I wonder how you’d feel wrapped around my cock.”
You break character for a moment, explicitly sharing what you want. For a brief second, you wait for her to pull away because this is for her. Her body reacts differently. Her inner walls tighten deliciously after mentioning that, lighting a fire under you.
“Yeah? You want that?” You taunt, scissoring your fingers, curling, rubbing the muscles. “Your pussy wants my cock huh? God, I’d cum so fucking fast.”
Your thoughts are all over the place, thinking of any and every position you want her in. You need something to relieve yourself as your cock throbs in your hand, blood rushing south as you feel dizzy.
On top of you, watching her hips swivel as she tries to take all of you. Or you’d want to see her ass bouncing on you, legs spread over your knees as you fuck up into her, impatient. Or bent over the couch, ass high as you impale her along your length, so hard that she falls over.
You don’t realize you’re talking to her pussy, muttering all the filthy things you want to do, until she gushes over your face, screaming as her orgasm rips through her body. Her walls keep your fingers locked in, but that doesn’t deter you. You continue moving your fingers, curling up just enough to hit that spot inside her before both hands are around your neck, holding you there as she thrusts herself on your face.
You feel lightheaded. You can’t breathe, suffocated by Rosie’s thighs, keeping you there as she grinds haphazardly all over your face. You groan, choking out air as your tongue repeatedly flicks against her clit that has her body spasming.
When you pull away, you gasp, chest heaving as you stare at the blissed out woman in front of you.
“Holy…” She doesn’t finish her sentence, eyes closed as she’s not faring any better than you. “Your mouth.”
Embarrassingly enough, you came inside your sweats. You rest your forehead on her thigh before giving her one last peck. You lean back, using the collar of your shirt to wipe your face.
“So,” You nod, as if what you just did was an everyday occurrence. “I hope you enjoyed that.”
“Thanks for that,” Rosie gets out in between breaths, eyes opening slowly. “Seriously.”
“Anytime,” You cringe because it makes you sound desperate. If she asked though, you would do it again. And again.
And again.
“I might have to take you up on that,” Rosie sighs dreamily. You chalk it up to the hormones clouding her brain, especially since her orgasm was strong.
You feel the wetness in your pants, which thankfully they’re black so you couldn’t see your release staining. You distract yourself by gathering Rosie’s clothes. She’s still trying to catch her breath, body limp against the cushions, so you help dress her, slipping her underwear as best you can.
“It’s fine, I can do it,” Rosie says so softly that you look up, meeting her gaze and something shifts. You can’t describe it, but you could feel something close to adoration just by the way she looks at you.
Again, you’ll blame the hormones and alcohol, but it scares you to see that she might, in some kind of way, like you the way you do.
“Let me.” You’re stubborn in that sense. You’ve always been respectful of women. You do your best to make sure they’re comfortable, and aftercare is a part of it. Rosie relents, letting you dress her before covering her with the blanket again. “There. Want me to carry you to your room too?”
“Stop,” Rosie blushes, averting her gaze to anywhere else. “You’ve done enough. I’ll get there, just let me be.”
You nod, rubbing her knee before standing up. “Goodnight Chaengie.” You smile as she lets out a contented sigh, snuggling deeper into the couch.
--
You take a deep breath, mentally preparing yourself for Rosie’s return, as you sit on the couch. The very same couch you were in between Rosie’s legs.
You haven't seen Rosie since Friday night. The following morning, you expected to see her, but you woke up to a text message that she would be out for the weekend with her family in Busan, something she mentioned before about a wedding she had to attend.
It was a blessing in disguise since it gave you time to ruminate over what happened.
You weren’t entirely sure how you felt. You knew for certain that you were horny and needed to fuck someone to get out all the pent up tension that your hand could not provide you. You wanted to do it again (and a whole lot more), but that wasn’t something you could ask of her.
You hoped things between you hadn't changed because it would, for a lack of a better word, suck, if it did. You’d have to find a new place to live when you’ve gotten so used to being in her presence. You’d have to change your number because you wouldn’t be able to face her. You’d also probably have to never talk to Lisa again because the chances of you seeing Lisa with Rosie in tow were high.
(You’re just being dramatic at this point, but still.)
Rosie sent you a message about an hour ago that she’d be home soon. You contemplated ordering take away from one of her favorite spots, but opted not to and would just ask her if she was hungry as soon as she walked through the door.
You had to make it seem like nothing changed anyways.
You almost don’t hear her walk in, too absorbed in your own head that the sound of her whistling breaks you out of your thoughts.
“Hey oppa,” Rosie greets as she sits next to you, leaving a friendly amount of space in between.
“Roseanne,” You nod, smirking when she rolls her eyes at the use of her full name. “How was the wedding?”
“Same old, same old,” Rosie sighs, shoulders dropping as you watch the tension leave her body. “My aunts kept asking me when it would be my turn to get married since Alice-unnie’s engaged, and the disappointment on their face when I told them I’m single was priceless.”
You chuckle, “I’m sure you could be in a relationship if you want to. It’s not like people aren’t interested.”
“Eh,” Rosie shrugs, “I know people are interested, but after the last one, I think it’s in my best interest to be single to figure out what I want.”
She has a point. You haven’t been in a relationship in years, at least nothing serious where you considered marriage. Sure you have flings here and there, but it wasn’t more than just sharing a few meals and spending nights with women who weren’t looking for anything serious.
It was nice, but there were times you wanted something more than just that.
You imagined it a lot over the weekend with Rosie, which you partly blame on your feelings for her and watching her cum on your tongue.
“That’s good,” Is all you can really say without delving too deep in the turmoil you felt over the weekend.
Rosie checks her phone for a bit, leaving a lull in the conversation. You want to say something to address what happened, but you feel awkward doing so. You stare blankly at the blank television screen as she responds to whoever.
“What’s wrong?” Rosie asks after a couple minutes.
“Oh, uh, nothing,” You rush out, avoiding her gaze burning on the side of your face.
Rosie places her phone on the coffee table before turning to face you, tugging on your arm. You can’t help but look at her, noticing the concerned look she’s giving you. She waits, and you relent, sighing, “Fine, I thought things would be awkward.”
“Awkward because…?” Rosie trails off as you watch her face blush, realizing what you mean. “That? Nothing’s changed. Sure, you might’ve set the bar really high for people in that department, but it’s nothing to make things awkward between us.”
“Rosie,” You deadpan.
“Oppa.” She knows how much formalities like that irritate you, especially when it’s just you two.
“You sure?” You ask, needing this reassurance from her because your friendship with her has become one of the most important things to you.
Rosie nods enthusiastically, smiling, as she leans forward to rest her head on your shoulder, “Yes. More than sure. I felt comfortable the whole time and I don’t regret it.”
You smile, the guilt of taking advantage of her lifting off your chest. It doesn’t lessen how you feel about her, but at least you could live with knowing that.
“Sooo…” Rosie drawls out, playing with the sleeve of your shirt. “Did you want to do it again?”
What?
“Uh?” You’re dumbfounded.
“I mean you could say no!” Rosie says quickly, pulling away. “It was nice, like really nice, and I think it could be fun to do it every once in a while.”
“You’re actually serious?”
“I wouldn’t ask if I wasn’t,” Rosie shrugs indifferently.
You internally groan because you feel your cock starting to get hard at the thought of doing that again. You gain nothing from this except material for you to use after the fact because you still wouldn’t be able to ask her to help out.
“Sure why not.” You’ll deal with your hormones after, in a very cold shower.
“Really?” Rosie beams, giggling as she sinks into the couch.
“Here? Or…?” You glance behind her to the hallway.
“I don’t mind the bedroom,” Rosie whispers.
That’s all the confirmation you need.
You stand abruptly, scooping Rosie in your arms, that she squeals at being carried. You chuckle as she playfully hits you, arms encircling around your neck tightly.
“You’re so annoying,” Rosie mutters against your neck.
You try to ignore the sensation of her breath on your skin by pulling her closer to your body. You don’t want to drop her after all.
“Yeah, well, in about ten minutes, you’ll be saying something else.”
“You promise?”
“Absolutely.”
-- --
It was a mistake, telling your friends about your situation with Rosie. They asked why you seemed happier because you couldn’t just be happy without a reason.
Rosie may be the reason why, but well, you didn’t have an excuse.
She is the reason why.
Which is an odd thing to say because you literally don’t get anything out of this except a shit ton of sexual frustration that you deal with—alone. You haven’t had the heart to ask anyone on a date lately, or entertain the women that you meet when you’re out and about.
You’ve done everything to Rosie you possibly could, yet she doesn’t get tired of your mouth.
At the rate you two were going, you’ve had to have developed some kind of jaw problem.
She asked one night, after you washed your face, while watching one of her shows before you went to bed, if she could sit on it. By her logic, and something you found out accidentally, she finds men who take care of themselves to be attractive. Not that that comment went to your head because then by your logic, she would have to find you attractive.
There was a time when she wore an oversized shirt and nothing else except for cute cheeky underwear that you tried very hard not to notice as you were making a smoothie. It didn’t help that she kept shaking her hips in front of you when you asked her if she wanted something, which was met with her bending over against the counter. It wasn’t like you could say no, especially when she slowly pulled her underwear down.
Then, there was another time after a night out that she practically pushed you to your knees to eat her out right against the door.
With too many times in between, you’ve basically haven’t had a decent, satisfying release since this one-sided arrangement started—two months ago. Your hand could only do so much for you.
Your friends may have noticed you were happy, but they also saw how on edge you were that they asked what was going on. You might’ve been a little too loose with your words to say you’ve been spending time with Rosie by doing that for her, but then you haven’t gotten anything out of it.
“Bro, you just gotta fuck someone if she’s not going to fuck you,” Jungkook says in your ear as Taehyung and Minwoo nod in agreement.
“It just feels wrong to,” You sigh, shoulders dropping as you drop your head on the table.
“Wait,” Minwoo raises an eyebrow. “Are you saying you like Chaeyoung?”
Your silence is enough for them.
“Dude!” Jungkook slaps your back, much harder than you expected, jolting your head up. “What kind of shit is that? You haven’t fucked her. Hell, you guys haven’t even kissed.”
“Don’t talk about her like that,” You almost growl out, eyes narrowing toward Jungkook that he switches spots with Taehyung.
“Well that says a lot,” Minwoo nods to himself in confirmation.
“What?”
“You do like Chaeyoung, but we sort of—minus Kook—already knew,” Minwoo explains, sipping his beer.
“Okay, yeah, you’re right,” Shoulders dropping as you admit out loud that you do like Rosie. You may even be in love with her, but that’s something you’ll keep to yourself.
Minwoo and Taehyung shoot you a sympathetic smile that makes you feel worse. Jungkook, however, completely misses the point, “Well why don’t you just fuck her out of your system?”
“Do you always have to talk so crassly about women?” Taehyung sighs, shaking his head while slapping the back of Jungkook’s.
“What!” Jungkook rolls his eyes, rubbing the spot he hit. “I get it. It must be hard to live with someone and do something like that with them for nothing in return. By the way, you’re a saint because if I—” Jungkook doesn’t finish that statement as Taehyung hits him again.
“Sorry Tae,” Minwoo shoots you a look, “I sort of agree with him.”
“You what?” You and Taehyung speak at the same time.
“It’s not healthy by any means. You’re probably a god in her eyes, but let’s be honest, you know you need to,” Minwoo says matter-of-factly.
“I mean, I guess? It just feels wrong to,” You reason, trying to make up an excuse.
“Why? It’s not like you’re dating. She’s single as far as you know. I’m sure you could find someone tonight if you really tried,” Minwoo encourages, nodding his head to the crowd in the bar.
“I invited Jeongyeon,” Taehyung says suddenly.
“What, why? It’s supposed to be a boys’ night out,” Jungkook whines, pouting like a puppy that you all ignore.
Taehyung glances at you before answering, “Nayeon’s in town. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to see her since she’s hardly around.”
“Dude,” You glare at Taehyung, who isn’t fazed by your tone. “Are you fucking serious?”
“What?” Taehyung shrugs. “You two ended just fine, and she’s also single. So why not have a nice one night stand with someone you know very well?”
You want nothing more than to punch Taehyung in his face, but you also do not want to get kicked out of this bar you go to often.
Im Nayeon.
A woman you haven’t seen in years, but she’s also the woman you dated for about three years.
The breakup was amicable. No bad blood between you. Life was pulling you in different directions that neither of you wanted to give up your dreams to stay together. Nayeon moved to Busan while you stayed in Seoul.
You’d be happy to see her on any other occasion, or maybe, any other moment in your life where you weren’t pining for someone that was your roommate.
The problem is, Nayeon would actually be down to have sex with you. A problem that’s too tempting in the state that you’re in where, as your friends eloquently put it, you need to get laid.
“I’m going home,” You stand, digging through your pockets for whatever bills you had.
“Too late,” Minwoo mumbles before you hear Nayeon’s obnoxious laugh behind you.
“What? Leaving already? I just got here, oppa,” The all-too familiar voice says as you turn around. You’re met with a toothy smile and eyes squinted that you can’t stop the smile forming on your face.
Fuck.
--
You’ve missed Nayeon. She has always been someone that made you laugh even when you’ve had the worst days. She still has the same obnoxious laugh and teases you to no end, but she’s different from how she was.
Nayeon still has that level of immaturity when it comes to trivial things, but the way she carries herself proves she’s much more confident and sure of herself. She listens to what you tell her whether it be about work or how your sister wants you to spend more time with her, giving advice when appropriate.
Your friends left you two alone when a billiards table opened up. Jungkook and Jeongyeon nodded approvingly like they were expecting something to happen tonight, which as things were unfolding was highly likely.
“So are you dating anyone?” Nayeon asks after finishing the third round of drinks.
You hesitate, quickly shaking your head as the bartender comes over and asks if you wanted anything else. It buys you some time, but once the drinks are poured, Nayeon waits for an answer.
“I’m not,” You take a hefty swig, choosing your words carefully because Nayeon has a tendency to dice and analyze stuff like this. “It’s a bit complicated?”
“When is it not with you?” Nayeon teases, biting her lip to hide her smile. “Tell me about her.”
You thought it would be weird to talk to your ex-girlfriend about the woman you’re currently interested in, who happens to also be your roommate. She doesn’t say much, except for clarification on minor details, as you do your best to give a condensed version of who Rosie was to you.
When you bring up that night, you wait to get scolded for taking advantage of Rosie, Nayeon surprises you by remaining indifferent. If you were looking at her, you wouldn’t have missed her eyes slightly narrowing as you describe how much Rosie uses this ‘perk’ frequently.
You finish, and the weight on your shoulders feel a little lighter, like you can actually sit up straight for once. You see the wheels turning in Nayeon’s head, picking her words carefully.
“Tell her how you feel,” Nayeon says softly, leaning slightly forward just enough to smell her perfume.
“It’s really not that simple,” You sigh, leaning forward as your shoulder brushes against hers.
Nayeon rolls her eyes, “It seems pretty cut and dry. You accidentally fall in love with your roommate, eat her out so well that you’ve practically ruined her for any other person, that she actually ends up falling in love with you too, but is too scared to do anything about it since you’re roommates. The only thing to quote unquote keep you is to ask you multiple times throughout the week to eat her out. Am I wrong?”
“You’re so annoying,” You shake your head.
“But you’re not saying I’m wrong, so just either tell her how you feel,” Nayeon reiterates, resting a hand on your thigh, “Or you’re going to get blue-balled to the point of insanity. Which for what it’s worth, is a loss for her because whenever you’re really riled up, sex is amazing.”
“Nayeon,” You grit out, reaching for your drink because this is not what you want to talk about with her, of all people.
Realization crosses her face and she giggles, hitting your thigh three times before saying, “You’re frustrated, aren’t you? Oh this is gold. I can’t believe you, of all people, are having trouble sealing the deal.”
“Fuck off,” You pout, turning away to hide the embarrassment on your face.
“Hey,” Nayeon says softly, affectionately, that it’s jumbling your thoughts as you try to separate how you feel about Rosie and the pent up energy waiting to be released. “I’m just kidding about the whole ‘sealing the deal’ part. It took a while to win me over.” It’s a joke between you because she was the one that pursued you after working on a project together.
“Nayeon,” You sigh dejectedly as you turn to face her, resting your face in your hand.
“Hm?” She raises an eyebrow after she sips her glass. You ask a question, but it’s barely audible. “Speak up.”
“Do you want to spend the night together?”
Nayeon doesn’t answer right away, choosing to swirl the ice in her glass.
It gives you a chance to drink some water because the alcohol is definitely getting to you if you brazenly asked your ex-girlfriend to spend the night. There’s a part of you that wants her to say no thank you, but there’s a more selfish part that wants her to say yes.
“When was the last time you had sex?” Nayeon asks after a few minutes, dragging it longer than necessary.
The question catches you off guard, but you answer, “Probably three months ago.”
She makes a humming sound, raising her hand for the bill as the bartender walks by, “Fine. On one condition.”
“What?” You shift on your seat, excited and eager that she’s agreeing. You pull out your wallet, handing your card to the bartender before he could hand her the bill.
Nayeon leans forward, invading your space to feel her breath against your skin. You brace yourself for whatever she has to say.
“Fuck me like I’m her.”
--
You hear footsteps across the hardwood floor, but it’s not enough to stop you from what you’re doing—making a smoothie. It isn’t until two arms wrap around your stomach that prompts you to stop.
“You and these damn smoothies,” Nayeon mumbles, nuzzling her face into your back.
“I made you one too.” Nayeon giggles, sneaking a hand underneath your shirt. Your muscles flex at her touch. “Having fun there?” You ask as her finger traces up and down, sending a shiver down your spine.
“Always with you,” Nayeon kisses your shoulder blade, peering her head around to watch.
It’s nice to be like this with Nayeon. It’s familiar, the same sort of routine you had after spending countless nights together. You had a tendency to wake up before her, especially after a night like last night.
Nayeon was insatiable—still is—and you both reaped the benefits of your sexual frustration. She wouldn’t let up, practically begging you to do all the things you wanted to do, as if it was Rosie you were fucking. She didn’t care how hard or fast you went because she knew how you were when it came to sex.
There’s a bit of guilt that you couldn’t make it to your room. Nayeon practically jumped on you as soon as you entered the apartment, dragging you to the couch before the door fully shut. She was in your lap before you knew it, stroking you to a full mast that had you seeing stars. One moment you were groaning against her lips, the next she was kneeling in between your legs.
The rest of the night was just you taking all your pent up frustration out. Nayeon welcomed it, spurring you on by whispering the thoughts you’ve had about Rosie in your ear. You nearly lost yourself to the sensation of Nayeon’s body wrapped around yours, overwhelming you when the picture of Rosie popped into your mind.
It was almost morning by the time you both tapped out, exhausted and relaxed. You had never had anyone stay in your bed, but it was nice to cuddle with Nayeon before sleep took over. Rosie wasn’t home, vacationing with her family on Jeju Island, so you weren’t expecting their paths to cross. Nayeon had plans with her sister and mother anyways before she had to return to Busan.
“Is your roommate home?” Nayeon asks once you hand her the smoothie.
You shake your head, turning around to face her, “Rosie’s coming home tonight.”
Nayeon leans into you as you place your free hand on her waist, gently rubbing her back. “So…” The teasing glint in her eyes spells mischief.
“Seriously?” You knew Nayeon had a high sex drive, but you’re not sure you have anything left. “Four times wasn’t enough?”
“One for good luck?” The smoothie’s on the counter, her arms wrapping around your neck as she stands on her tiptoes. Her lips brush against yours, murmuring, “You know you want to.”
You couldn’t ignore the effect she has on your body, cock awakening when she presses her body just enough. Nayeon’s hot, and she knows how to push every single one of your buttons.
“Why not right here?” Nayeon nips at your bottom lip, sucking lightly.
“There’s food on the counter,” You reason, eyes closing as you move your lips languidly against hers.
“And…?” Nayeon pulls away, dropping on her heels.
Your eyes open slowly, hand immediately dropping when they land on Rosie standing in the hallway.
It’s like a deer caught in the headlights. You watch her mouth open and close, but no sound comes out. Nayeon senses your body tense, head turning slightly and a grin forms on her face.
“Hi,” Nayeon says casually. She turns around so that her back’s against your front. She loops your arms around her waist as you stifle a groan at her bottom pressed directly over your crotch. “I’m Nayeon, it’s nice to meet you. You must be Rosie right?”
You didn’t realize Nayeon’s clothing choice because she’s wearing one of your shirts, falling mid-thigh. She’s wearing her underwear, at least, but even that does nothing to hide the small love bites you left on her skin.
Rosie clears her throat, “Yeah.” You hear her voice crack. “It’s nice to meet you too. Um,” Her eyes shift to yours, “I’ll leave you two alone. Sorry to, uh, intrude.”
You’re barely able to get a word out before Rosie rushes to her room, leaving you and Nayeon to watch her door quietly shut. The woman in your arms chuckles, shaking her head.
“That was rude,” You lightly scold, pinching her stomach.
“Look,” Nayeon shakes you off before turning to face you, crossing her arms, “Give it a month, at most three, you’ll be together.”
“You were toying with her,” You roll your eyes, mirroring her stance.
“How?” Nayeon snaps, eyes glaring. “Neither you nor I knew she was going to be here this morning. Maybe her seeing you with someone else was a wake up call.”
“Yeah but still, you didn’t need to do all that,” You argue. It’s a weak position, but you had to justify it somehow.
“Don’t act all high and mighty. You literally came inside me twice. Call a spade a spade, you fucked me while thinking of her, which I have no issue with. My issue is, how long can you act like you’re not in love with her?” You almost interject, but she raises a finger, “I know you are. Give me that, at least.”
Nayeon stares, waiting for your response, but you have nothing. She’s right in every sense because you are in love with Rosie.
“It may have been a few years since we dated, but I still care about you,” Nayeon continues to talk, sending you a sympathetic smile, “Just be honest with yourself and her. There’s something there.”
“Okay,” Your shoulders sag, avoiding her gaze. You’re probably pouting based on Nayeon’s fingers suddenly cupping your chin, tilting your head up. “What?”
“It’ll work out, trust me. You might not know girls as well as I do, but it was all over her face.” You raise an eyebrow. “She’s jealous.”
-- --
You’re confused, stumped even on how to proceed.
Things have been awkward.
It’s not like you’re avoiding each other because you still see her in the mornings and evenings. It’s always a brief conversation about how things are going, then Rosie excuses herself either to her room or she has plans.
You might as well be avoiding each other.
You feel the need to explain yourself, but Nayeon has been in your messages saying that you owe her nothing because it’s “her thing to deal with”—whatever that means. You tried asking her to explain, but she was adamant to just wait.
It’s been a couple weeks since you spent the night with Nayeon. Rosie’s been distant ever since.
Lisa’s birthday party is this evening and you briefly spoke with Rosie to go together, but she isn’t home yet. You caught her this morning to confirm plans, which she was all for, quickly agreeing before she left for work.
Rosie’s late. You have half the mind to call her and ask her where she is. The party started at seven, and when you glance at the clock, it’s five past. It’s normal to arrive late to events, but it’s a good drive across town that Lisa would give you a hard time if you show up after Jennie.
You contemplate leaving without Rosie when the front door swings open a minute later.
“I’m so sorry, my meeting ran late and my coworker needed help with her opening statement,” Rosie rushes out when she sees you sitting on the couch. “Give me, like, three minutes.” She doesn’t give you a chance to respond as she hurries to her room.
You weren’t planning on drinking. You haven’t since you saw Nayeon because you didn’t want to make a fool of yourself in front of Rosie. It’s the first time since that morning where you’ll actually be hanging out with her, even though your friends will be there too.
You don’t keep track of time, but the sound of heels on the hallway floor brings your attention to Rosie. Your jaw nearly drops because she’s absolutely stunning. She’s wearing this brown sheer outfit? You don’t know how to explain it. It’s revealing, her pale skin looks luminescent under the fabric. Her top’s fucking open, stomach showing as it flows over her skin, rustling through her purse before her eyes meet yours.
“Ready?”
You clench your jaw, averting your gaze before returning. You prayed to whatever higher being that she doesn’t realize you were practically undressing her with your eyes. You try to play it cool, nodding with a soft yeah.
Rosie nods, “Let’s go.”
You desperately want to reach out, pulling her body against yours to whisper to her all the things you want to do to her, but you don’t. You just hoped that things would go back to normal, whatever normal was.
--
Rosie laughs, shifting in your lap as Jennie tells her something about someone they know. You stifle a groan as that particular movement has your cock straining against your slacks. You readjust your legs, as Rosie settles more into you, having the nerve to loosely wrap her arm around your neck. You don’t know if she knows what she’s doing to you, but you have a feeling she does.
The party’s in full swing. A few of Lisa’s friends are singing off-tune while the rest are conversing, drinking. You could be enjoying it more, engaging more, if it wasn’t for the problem in between your legs. Something caused by the very woman who’s animatedly talking about another person they know.
The drive from the apartment wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. The conversation was stiff, forced, and the songs from Rosie’s phone filled the silence. You felt like you didn’t know what to say after the night with Nayeon, embarrassed that she caught you like that, even though your ex-girlfriend aggressively reminded you that you two weren’t dating. Rosie spent most of the ride on her phone, typing away to whoever or scrolling through her socials.
Stop lights had never felt so long.
It wasn’t until you parked that Rosie broke the ice.
“I don’t want things to be weird between us,” Rosie said quietly, unbuckling her seatbelt to face you. “I’m sorry I was rude to Nayeon, and I’m sorry if I’ve been distant.”
You changed your position, turning your head, “I’m sorry too. Let’s just go back to how things were before?”
She tilts her head, expression unreadable that the hairs on your neck stand. There’s a sudden tension in the air that you can’t quite place, but being this close to her has your senses heightened.
“Sure,” Rosie’s voice barely comes out in a whisper, “Let’s do that.”
It was nice to see all the people here to celebrate Lisa, but what made it even nicer was Rosie was always next to you. She might not have been directly part of the conversations you were having, but she was always close by. At one point, her fingers threaded through yours, palm soft against your skin.
When Jennie arrived, she immediately pulled you with her. She guided you to sit on the free space on the bench. You were about to move to make room when her hand was on your shoulder, stopping you, and she sat in between your legs.
“What about you, oppa?” The question catches you off guard, breaking you out of your thoughts. You haven’t been paying attention to their conversation, so you have no substance to contribute.
“You okay?” Rosie asks, a sly smirk on her face, confirming she knows exactly what she’s doing and she’s getting the reaction she wants. “You look… distracted.”
Clearing your throat, hoping your voice doesn’t sound too hoarse, “Just great.” It must not work based on the chuckle she lets out. “Sorry, what are you two gossip queens talking about?”
Jennie’s eyes narrow, huffing, “First of all, we weren’t gossiping. I was just telling Rosie about my trip to France with my mother. And to answer your question, I asked what was new with you.”
Oh.
That was easy to answer. There hadn’t been much going in your life since you last saw Jennie, which wasn’t too long ago. By the time you finish telling her about an upcoming business trip to the United States, a mischievous glint forms in her eyes.
“Dating anyone?” The woman in your lap stiffens at the question. “Rosie mentioned that you had someone over recently.”
“Oh well,” You shrug, not entirely sure how to answer. “Yeah, I did. It was just a one night stand.”
“So you aren’t dating her?” Jennie prods as the tension rolls off Rosie’s body.
“No, I’m not dating anyone.” You answer flatly, slightly annoyed with her sudden interest in your dating life.
“Interesting,” Jennie nods, crossing her arms as she leans back. She seems satisfied with your answer, glancing at Rosie who still feels tense. You sneak a hand around her, arm resting on her waist as you give a reassuring squeeze. Her body relaxes into your touch. You missed how Jennie observed the small interaction, only hearing her say, “Very interesting.”
--
This is dangerous, very dangerous.
You didn’t know what was worse–getting caught or dying. Though there was a thrill that came with the former.
You couldn’t pinpoint what changed, but as soon as you and Rosie entered the car, that same heavy tension was there. You couldn’t ignore it, and it didn’t seem like she could either, by the way she kept fidgeting in her seat as you drove home.
It snapped the moment you hit a red light because suddenly Rosie’s lips were on yours. You couldn’t help the small moan being swallowed by her mouth eagerly on yours. You practically melted into the kiss, leaning over to the center console, but the sound of the car horn blaring behind you had you reluctantly pulling away.
“How well can you drive?” Your eyes were focused on the road when Rosie’s hand rested on your thigh. You thought it was a weird question to ask. She had been in the car with you numerous times and you take safety seriously after a wicked crash when you were younger.
“Uh, pretty well?” You answered dumbly, braking slowly as the next traffic signal turned red.
“Good,” Rosie nodded, hand inching dangerously closer to your crotch.
“Chaeng,” You glanced down, watching her hand swiftly undo your belt. “What the fuck are you doing?”
“Eyes on the road,” Rosie murmured. Her other hand reached over, unbuttoning your slacks just enough. “Don’t crash.”
Another car horn went off, giving you no choice but to drive. You saw Rosie move the seat belt, freeing her movement as her body leaned over the center console.
“Chaeng,” You groaned the moment her hand made contact, slipping your cock out of your briefs.
“Don’t crash.”
You couldn’t make any promises. Your body jerked when you felt her lips gently brush over you, tongue licking slowly over the tip.
You definitely weren’t expecting any of this tonight, but you weren’t against it.
Even if it jeopardizes your safety and life.
“Fuck,” You mutter underneath your breath as Rosie’s mouth takes you in again. She goes lower on your length, the apartment building getting closer. The grip on the steering wheel tightens when you hit the back of her throat. “Chaeng,” You warn, your control slipping as your foot presses on the accelerator.
Her mouth’s immediately off you, but she keeps her hand wrapped around you. Your body tenses, unsure of her next move. You focus entirely on the road, and not on her hand slowly stroking you.
“I had a feeling you were big,” Rosie says casually, leaning her head on your shoulder. “Do you think it’ll fit?” She murmurs against your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
Her lips press on your jaw, muscle tensing underneath her touch. You almost let out a sigh of relief when you take a tight turn into the driveway, but it comes out as a gasp because she decides to drop her head.
“Dear fuck,” You groan, peeling into the assigned parking spot. By the time you put the car in park, your fingers thread through her hair, hips thrusting up.
Hitting the back of her throat, Rosie shoots up, gasping for air before her warm, wet mouth’s around you once again. Your fingers tense, tugging at her hair when she chokes, throat constricting around your length. Your head falls back against the headrest as a pit forms in your stomach.
“I’m, I’m—fuck,” You can barely start your sentence, grip loosening as your vision blurs.
“You’re doing so well for me.” You know that Rosie’s talking to you, and the praise does something to you. “You deserve this,” She continues, hand steadily stroking with the occasional lick along the underside of your length. “I’ll be good for you. I’ll let you finish inside my mouth, yeah?” She goads, voice dropping an octave, driving you absolutely insane.
“Fuck, yes, yes,” You chant, nodding desperately before making a mistake that ends you.
You gain some semblance of control of your body, eyes opening and looking down right when Rosie’s pretty lips wrap around your cock. You whimper, hand shooting to the back of her head, as you release into her mouth. You choke out a few breaths, hips driving upward as you push her head farther along. You’re met with no resistance, feeling her throat relax when her nose touches your pubic bone. Your vision goes white, a guttural groan falls from your lips, feeling her cheeks hollow as you just keep cumming.
You don’t know where you start and she ends, but when it does, Rosie lifts her head. You see the smallest dribble of your cum on her chin, painting a vivid image of her face covered in you. You watch her bring her thumb up, wiping it into her mouth, licking her lips before meeting your fucked out gaze.
“Open your mouth,” You say quietly, lifting your hand to cup her chin. She follows your command, slowly opening her mouth, and all you see is pink, no trace of you inside. “Good girl,” You murmur, pulling her lips to yours.
Sighing contentedly, Rosie’s lips move languidly against yours. She pulls away after a few moments, resting her forehead on yours, “Sleep with me tonight?”
Whatever she wants.
--
No sleep was happening.
You were naive to think you’d actually be sleeping.
Once you made yourself somewhat presentable, in the event you saw another tenant, you let Rosie pull you out of the car. Your knees almost buckled the moment you stood, but she was there to catch you, giggling against your chest as she held you up.
“You’re being dramatic,” Rosie commented as you draped an arm around her.
“You sucked the literal life out of me,” You couldn’t help your bluntness. The hormones were still releasing and all you wanted to do was pull her into you more. “I could’ve crashed,” You added, unsure of how you made it, but thankful you did.
“Well thanks,” Rosie said, a blush forming on her face that you don’t miss. “For, you know, keeping us alive.”
You smiled, eyes drooping as Rosie dragged you to the elevator. She lightly scolded you when you’d drop your weight onto her, huffing cutely before snuggling deeper into your side. That was a win for you.
When you finally made it inside the apartment, your body was on autopilot and went straight to your room, Rosie glued to your side.
“Oppa,” Whining as she struggled to get out of your hold, “I want to change.”
You hardly pay her any mind, falling onto your bed and taking Rosie with you. She shrieked, hitting your back.
“Go change,” You mumbled, head turning to face her. “Come back when you’re done.”
Rosie booped your nose with her pinky, getting up before you could react. You heard her giggles as she ran out of the room. You were sure you were sporting a dopey smile.
You decided to follow suit. Changing in your mind was shrugging off your pants and haphazardly taking your shirt off, barely undoing any of the buttons. You tended to have a more thorough nightly routine that involved you sleeping in more clothes, but you were in too much of a relaxed state to care.
It could’ve been hours, dozing in and out of sleep, when it was really only ten minutes before Rosie returned.
“No pajamas?” Rosie scoffed playfully.
You opened one eye and saw her nightwear choice. An oversized shirt you recognized immediately since it was your shirt that went missing a few months ago. You chalked it up to being left on vacation, but here it was, barely covering the culprit’s body.
“No clothes of your own?” You retorted, earning a smack on your back.
“Whatever,” Point you. “Let’s just sleep now.”
Sleep my ass.
“I told you,” Rosie gasps, body trembling as she folds forward, lips pressed against yours. “I’d be good for you.”
“So fucking good,” You moan watching your length disappear in between her legs. “Such a good girl.”
You were on your side, your hand resting high on Rosie’s waist. You were trying to sleep, but she kept squirming. It wasn’t until she was pressed up against you that she stopped.
Or so you thought she’d just fall asleep.
As your body relaxed, inhaling the scent of Rosie so close to you, you felt her hand in between your bodies, landing perfectly on your crotch. She started slowly, cupping and rubbing your cock over the fabric. You couldn’t help the bodily response, hardening as time went on.
“Chaeng,” You moaned softly against her head.
“I want you,” Rosie whispered, her lips placing a kiss on the underside of your jaw. “Let me be good for you.”
You didn’t know how she did it, but you were suddenly on your back with Rosie on top of you. You couldn’t remember if she wore anything underneath your shirt, but the warmth of her center over your briefs has you lost in the sensation.
“You know,” Rosie’s hands worked quickly to pull you out, “I’m usually not this forward, but,” You whimpered when she guided your cock to her slit, “I’ve been thinking about this since you let me sit on your face while we were watching a show. Want to hear a secret?”
You nodded, too entranced by her playing with your cock against her. She could be telling you that she committed murder.
“I couldn’t help but touch myself again later that night,” Rosie inhaled sharply when she brushed you against her clit. “I saw your sweats tented and imagined what you’d feel like.”
If you remembered correctly, that time she mentioned wasn’t too long after the first time. That made you dizzy to think about because she already came over your face, but she still touched herself after.
And that was hot.
“Guess I’m about to find out.”
Bringing you to fill Rosie to the hilt, swallowing the moans she lets out against your lips. Your head falls onto the pillow, watching her steady herself as her body adjusts to the intrusion.
“Am I doing well?” Her eyes are low, barely being held open as you watch the pleasure wash over her face.
“You could do better,” You bring your hands behind your head. Her eyes widen when you roll your hips, telling her in a not-so-subtle way to show you just how good she could be.
Maybe you should’ve kept your mouth shut, but you have never been known to say the most appropriate thing. Your words light a fire in her, and you see the switch happen in real time.
“Better?” Rosie shifts slightly, resting her knees at your sides while keeping you snug in between her warm walls. “Okay,” She nods before slowly raising her hips as your cock appears.
Rosie goes for the kill, slamming her body against yours. Your hands shoot to her hips, the move startling you. She repeats the motion again, again, and again.
“Good?” Rosie pulls away, sitting upright.
“So fucking good,” Is all you know how to say and you keep saying that when Rosie moves her body on top of you, undulating her hips.
You’re hypnotized as she works herself over you, swiveling her hips and rolling her body. You watch her movement stutter, realizing quickly she found the perfect tempo and spot. You can’t ignore the knot forming as she continues her ministrations. She’s moving faster, signaling she’s close. You also can’t ignore how soaked it is between your bodies.
“Such a good girl,” You mutter absentmindedly, her pace increasing as her inner muscles tighten. “Good girls cum, yeah?”
Rosie nods, mewling in your lap, “Yes, I’m good. I know I’m being good.” She babbles, eyes rolling back as she tightens forcefully around you, body wracked with tremors as her orgasm hits.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” Your hips move on their own accord, thrusting up into her as your hands pull her along your cock. “Do you want me to pull—”
Rosie vigorously shakes her head, collapsing into you as she grabs your hands off her hips. She pins your hands over your head. You feel her walls contract, squeezing you tightly that you can’t stop yourself from cumming, painting her insides white. Your lips find hers, a filthy moan leaves your mouth as you let everything out.
“It’s so much,” Rosie gasps out, small aftershocks hitting her body as you roll your hips up, prolonging both your orgasms.
You didn’t realize how hard you were gripping her hands until you felt a gentle squeeze. She’s a mess on top of you, hair wild and all over the place as she catches her breath.
You kiss her temple, breathing hard as her body goes limp on top of yours. You carefully move to pull yourself out, wincing at the release in pressure. Her sudden intake of breath doesn’t go unnoticed, kissing her again.
“Sorry,” You whisper. It all feels wet down there and the sicker side of you wants to see what it looks like, but you have a feeling this will happen again.
“Sleep,” Rosie mumbles, burying her face into the crook of your neck.
You chuckle, shaking your head. You agree that sleep is what should happen next, but you couldn’t leave her like this—as hot as it would be.
“Let me clean up first,” You coo. She doesn’t respond, the light snores you hear below has you rolling your eyes.
You do your best to maneuver yourself out from underneath her, minimally disturbing her as you roll out of bed. You grab what you need from the bathroom to come back to Rosie laying on her stomach. You try to clean the mess you made, internally battling with yourself if you should move to her room.
Rosie’s too adorable in your bed that you decide not to. You pull a pair of old shorts out, slipping it on her frame. When you're satisfied with what you could do, you shut the lights off.
You’ll have to change your bedsheets at some point, but Rosie curling into your side as soon as you slide underneath the comforter makes you forget about it.
-- --
You’re grinning as soon as you walk through the door. Your eyes immediately fall onto Rosie staring intently at her laptop screen as she chose the kitchen as her office for the day.
“Jagiya,” You say affectionately when you’re behind her, kissing her sweetly on the top of her head. “I have news.”
Rosie’s half paying attention, humming as you massage her shoulders. “What?” She asks distractedly, typing away.
“I’m moving out,” You announce, proud of the statement as the sound of her keyboard stops.
“You’re what?”
“I’m moving out,” You pull up the stool to sit next to her.
Rosie raises an eyebrow, confused at what you’re saying because you’ve been living together for two years and dating for almost a year.
It should’ve been a weird transition—the whole roommates turned lovers thing—but it actually wasn’t. It was almost too easy, in which the only problem you had was who’s room you were sleeping in.
“Where are you going?” She asks pointedly, crossing her arms whenever she felt she was getting tested.
It’s a test she’s thinking too hard about.
You say an address, one you’re both familiar with, and you chuckle when you see her nose scrunch.
“Uh… Okay…” Rosie trails off, puzzled at your news. “Did something happen?”
You see the wheels turning in her head, thoughts and memories flickering through her mind as she racks her brain over what you’re getting at.
“Nope,” You respond simply, popping the p. “Are you going to ask which unit?”
“You’re being difficult,” Rosie huffs, shaking her head. “Where the fuck are you moving?”
“This one,” You say simply, grinning as her expression goes blank.
“What?”
You reach out, pulling her body onto your lap. Nuzzling your face into her neck, “I’m moving in.”
“You’ve been moved in, dumb dumb,” Rosie flicks your forehead. “What’re you getting at? I’m getting irritated.”
“Well, oh love of my life,” You peck her cheek sweetly, ignoring the glare she sends your way. “Let’s turn my room into an office since we spend most nights in your room. Yours is bigger anyways.”
It’s been gnawing at you for the past month. There were a few things you had been waiting for too before bringing it up. Number one being this promotion your bosses really want you to have with a larger increase in your pay.
“What about all our clothes?” Rosie asks after a moment. Of course that would be on her mind, out of everything.
“We just move some things around,” You say easily, shrugging because that isn’t that big of a deal. “I love you.”
“And I love you too,” Rosie smiles, looping her arms around your neck as she leans forward. “But we really don’t have to do all that. I don’t mind working out here!” She gestures to the living room and kitchen.
You shake your head, smiling softly, “I know you don’t, but I do. You should be able to separate the spaces.”
It’s definitely more of a you thing because you want Rosie to be able to work without it bleeding into the areas she spends the most time in. She hasn’t complained, but you could tell she never actually relaxes when she’s home.
“You’re sweet,” Rosie mumbles, lips pressed against yours that you find yourself smiling. You lower your arms, wrapping loosely around her waist to bring her closer. She lets out a hmph before melting into the embrace. “You’re so good to me.”
The praises echoes in your mind, groaning softly when she moves her lips against yours. “So, so good,” She breathes out that the grip on her waist tightens.
“Chaeng.” She’s highly aware of the effect that has on you, but you’re preparing yourself for what she does next.
“I think I should reward you,” Rosie’s index finger trails down your jaw. “You take care of me so well.”
You can’t even say anything as Rosie kisses you one last time before taking a step back, slowly dropping to her knees. The sight of her in between your legs is one you never tire of.
“Be good baby,” You scratch the top of her head, undoing her ponytail as blonde hair frames her face.
“For you? Always.”

I want to do something for Ollie Bearman for his debut but honestly not sure just for the idea that you know i write only smut.
Tumblr media
You were cheering in the crowd as you saw Carlos take the podium; you were nothing but the happiest. Carlos broke the red bull streak. It was nothing but the most important moment to exist. You took your headphones off and took a deep breath in.
“Vamos.” You could hear him cry out, and eventually he made it back to you, and you were smiling. He was covered in champagne. You handed him a towel and helped him dry.
“You did absolutely amazing.” You smiled as you brushed aside his wet hair, and he couldn't help but smirk. He grabbed you by the waist and stood there as others took pictures.
“El hotel ahora...” He whispered in your ear and smiled as you waved to the camera. You kissed his lips for the camera. “Thank you all!” He cheered, and you walked away with a smile and knew what was to come.
“FUCK!” You cried out as your face was on the pillows, your hands gripping the sheets from the absolute feeling of stretching. You weren’t sure if it was pain or pleasure, but you knew it felt weird. "Carlito, more lube, please.” You called out, and he pulled himself out slowly. He has been stretching you out for hours.
“Mi amor, you’ll be fine.” He whispered to you lovingly and squirted more lube into your asshole. There, he shoved himself slowly, and he was finally in. A loud moan left you with an abnormal feeling. “Ughhhh.” He let it out, as it was so tight and warm. This is all he has been wanting for months. Not many could guess Carlos Sainz Jr. was into anal. But he could almost never convince his partner until he met you. You told him, believing in him months ago, that if he won again, you would let him. “You promised.” Carlos was cheeky as he said it, and you nodded.
He began to move slowly in and out of your ass. You held onto the sheets, and your mouth was wide open as you couldn’t mutter moans out but somehow felt so much. You groaned softly as he went in and out, and as he quickened the pace, the groans turned into moans of pleasure. The condom he wore allowed him to slip in and out a bit easier.
"Carlito, you seem we-” You were trying to taunt him, but he suddenly slapped your ass, causing a cry of pleasure to leave your mouth so loud that the neighbors of the hotel could hear it. You began to drool from the feeling your head pushed down to the mattress, Carlos slapping your ass. It felt like so much, but you loved it.
“Mhm.” He groaned. You were now a mess. Tears welled from your eyes as you felt so good. Carlos wasn’t just fucking your ass; his thumb slowly snaked to your clit and began to rub slow circles opposite of his quick pace of going in and out of you.
You wouldn’t know it, but Carlos was going to fuck your ass all night; he didn’t care if his thighs felt weak from cumming constantly or not. He desired this; he was simply so happy you agreed. It was sudden, but he knew that you were also into it. When he was gone, you would send him videos of you stretching your ass out, and he loved the videos.
“Haa…ugh…aaah” was all you could let out, and right as you did, Carlos' big arms flipped you and raised your legs slightly over your head. You were moaning hard, unsure why it felt so good. He was going in and out and making sure your hold was perfect. He wiped off the drool from your lips and leaned down, kissing you.
“Princesa mio,” He pulled away and placed his arms on your thigh, plowing your hole, and you didn’t protest; it was as if all thoughts of yours were gone. Eventually he reached his climax, which you could tell as you felt his thighs twitch right against your ass, his moans getting choppier, and the fact that he was getting faster every second. There, you hear him groan for a long time, and he falls onto you. His arms caged you in as you were shaking from the way he would still thrust into you, and there he made you cum, and you cried, holding onto his back as he tried to not fully lay on you.
Breathing could be heard from the two of you, and Carlos finally caught his breath and pulled out of your very tight hole. He smirks and brushes your hair off your face, sweat falling from your forehead.
“Perdoname mi amor.” He takes his condom off and reaches for a new one after wiping himself with a rag. You nod, wanting him to hold you even tighter. “I won because of you.” You laughed with a low breath.
“Let's do it every time you are on the podium from now on.” He smirked and grabbed your legs, pulling you to the edge of the bed as he squirted more lube.

Could you fic for Fernando Alonso with wife reader? They're on vacation during the winter and she's cold, so she take a water bottle and cradle it. Nando saw it and felt jelly and left out🤭 I don't know if it make sense. Add something else to it if it's not right. Thanks!! :))
Finland Freeze - Fernando Alonso x WifeReader
Plot: Fernando decided to take you on a ski trip, however after testing out the bunny slopes and multiple falls you need to go back to the log cabin for some warmth, however Fernando feels as though he should be that warmth instead!
Credit to the-offside-rule for the GIF
Tumblr media
"Come on. It's not that hard!" your husband Fernando laughed from the bottom of the small hill. You look down at him, from up here the slope looked huge.
There was multiple kids going past you, throwing themselves into the activity while you stayed there apprehensively.
"Come on mi amor!" he shouts up to you. You take a few more seconds before starting pushing yourself down the slope on the ski's. You start to speed up and you try leaning into the turn but end up just plopping down into the icy slope. You look up, pulling your goggles up seeing your husband laughing at you with his hands on his knees.
A dad laugh.
You got up quickly rubbing the snow away from your now probably bruised bum. You start up again, taking the turns a little slower and manage to get down to your husband with only 2 more slip ups.
As you neared him, he opened his arms wide as if you were a toddler coming towards him. You however didn't fully slow to a stop, and end up falling in between his legs taking him down with you.
"Offph, I know when i married you I said till death do us part... but your taking that very seriously!" he jokes looking over you before helping you up from the snowy floor.
"Your the one who got me to come to Finland with you! I would have happily spent my winter in Dubai, or Australia!" you comment, pulling him into a hug.
The next few times and he comes down the hill with you, holding your hand and making sure to balance you back out when you start to skid.
After a few more hours, your getting too cold, your cheeks fully red and not enjoying the dropping temperatures. You say that you'll go back to the cabin on the ski resort to warm up while Fernando goes on the big slopes with his personal trainer.
You get in, changing from the damp skiing gear you were sporting and wrapping a dressing gown around you while you shove it all in the washing machine.
You quickly make your way over to the bathroom getting in the warm shower and rinsing of your body, keeping it on a warm temperature to try and warm up the furthest bits of your body.
You stayed there for at least 45 minutes, where you fingers slowly started to resemble prunes. You put on joggers and a hoodie of your husbands and some big fluffy socks. You make you way down to the living area turning the kettle on immediately. You grab the matches and light the wood inside the fireplace that Fernando had put there the previous night when you both realized you'd used most of it up.
Once the kettle has boiled you split the water, most of it going into the pink fluffy hot water bottle you'd conveniently taken with you, even though you'd been told you wouldn't need it. The other goes into making yourself a tea, using the last of the milk you guys had brought for the cup, noting you'd have to go to the little shop on the lodge sight later tonight.
You grab multiple unhealthy snacks that Fernando always held a grudge when he saw you lazing around on the sofa and his cheat day foods in hand on a random Wednesday.
You set yourself up on the sofa under a white fluffy blanket, nesting yourself down in between the large pillows. You hug the hot water bottle and turn on a new crappy rom-com in the Netflix recommended.
Fernando walks in the door, snow in his hair from the growing snow storm outside making you chuckle at his gruff entrance despite his small stature.
He walk over to you and leans down kissing your lips making you recoil away and bury down into your blankets more due to the coldness he brought.
"No kisses?" he asks looking at you with a tilted head and puppy dog eyes.
"You're cold hermoso" you smile shyly, not wanting to be rude but also wanting to keep warm.
"Hmmmm, i'll get changed and then you've got to let me in that bundle of warmth!" he exclaims before crossing over to the bedroom.
He comes back in a pair of shorts and t-shirt the outfit making your eyes widen shocked that he could even possibly be warm in that outfit. He starts to climb into your nest you've created pulling a random wrapper off you and into the little bin behind you both before he starts to undo all your hard work of keeping the warmth in.
"Mmmmm no please!" you complain hugging the water bottle closer trying to keep the warmth.
"I'm hurt mi amor! This bottle is a better source of heat than me? Your husband?" he asks looking over you and you want to nod you really do but his expression makes you just stay still as he starts to pull the blanket away from you. He lays down, re-wrapping the blanket around himself when he pulls your hot water bottle away.
You groan out a complain.
"Mmmm I'm better than this stupid bottle!" he says before snaking his hands up under your hoodie making you shiver and whine from how cold his hands are.
"Fernando!" you gasp when he fully flattens his hands on your back.
"We'll warm up soon" he smiles fully laying on your and hugging your body into his.
"I was warm until you showed up" you sigh starting to play with his hair that was under the blanket so your finger tips didnt get too cold.
Eventually the fire really kicked in and your body heats started to regulate meaning you were both warming each other up nicely now, to the point where you both fell asleep in your little nest of the sofa hugging each other with the soft voices from the next movie that had automatically played on in the back ground.

(warnings: mildy suggestive content, pregnancy. fem!reader, use of fem pronouns.)
Tumblr media
The temperatures in the past week had sky-rocketed, leaving you sweating with even the slightest amount of movement, and that wasn’t taking into account the hot flashes that came with pregnancy. At least the air-conditioning unit hadn’t given up yet, though it rattled ominously every hour-or-so. Whenever it happened, you’d glance at it, expecting it to blow up or break down. But it never did.
Until this afternoon, when you’d just gotten comfortable on the couch, ready to watch some television. The unit had spluttered and hummed, trying its very hardest to work, but eventually let out a long, stuttering creak and fell silent.
You sighed, briefly wanting to sit on the floor and cry. Instead, you dragged yourself to your closet, picked out a simple t-shirt dress, and pulled on some sandals. Braving the heat armed with your sunglasses, keys, and a sudden desire for the world's largest iced latte, you hopped in the car and headed for the nearest drive-thru. While you waited in line, car idling, you thought of Carmy.
He’d left the apartment at five, as he usually did on Friday’s to over-prep for what was usually a particularly chaotic lunch rush, and you’d mumbled a sleepy goodbye, cradling your small bump tenderly. If you’d opened your eyes, you would’ve seen him linger in the doorway, a soft smile on his face.
The bell above the door announced your arrival as you swept into The Bear, balancing two cardboard trays of iced lattes.
Now, in the drive-thru, your hand rested on your stomach, and you smiled as you felt soft kicks against your palm.
-
“You alright?”
“Coffee’s up,” you called as you stepped into the kitchen, narrowly avoiding Richie storming by in a tuxedo, megaphone in hand. Some things never changed.
“Cousin! Can you watch where you’re fuckin’ goin’, please?!” There was Carmy, his hand on your hip, as he shouted across the kitchen at Richie, who was already out in the back alley, not hearing a word.
“Yeah,” you nodded, setting the coffee down on an empty section of the counter. “The AC broke at home, and I wanted something cold, and then I thought of you, and wanted to see you.”
“Fuck, the AC broke? I’ll get Fak onto it this afternoon.” Carmy cupped your chin, kissing you gently, a stark contrast to the urgency with which he ran his kitchen. “Stay here a while? I’ll make you somethin’, yeah?”
“Okay, Bear, thank you.”
“Nat’s in her office, she’s got the best AC. I’ll bring you a plate soon.”
He kissed you again, a little harder this time, and lingered a little longer than he should’ve. His hands skimmed your stomach, drifted to your waist, holding you against him. To anybody else, it’d just look like a moment of tenderness. But to you… Damn him, he did it on purpose. He knew your hormones were fucking whacked out. And from the look on his face as he pulled away, the subtle smirk, the little glimmer in his eye…
“Mean,” you muttered as he walked away, but you were smiling. That smile only grew as you stepped into Nat’s office, relishing in the fresh wave of cold air that enveloped you instantly. With a sigh, you sat down on the grey couch against the wall, clean fabric soft against your fingertips. You groaned in appreciation, sinking into the cushions.
“Hi, sweetie,” Nat said, smiling. “Comfy enough?”
You hummed, grabbing one of the throw pillows and hugging it to your chest. “I think I dream of this couch sometimes.”
Nat nodded along, knowing exactly how you felt, having spent many hours on the same couch when she, too, had been pregnant. “I’ve just got some paperwork to do, honey, but just let me know if you need anything, okay?”
A dim light filled the room, emanating from the lamp on Nat’s desk, but Nat was nowhere to be found. Blinking sleepily, you rubbed your eyes and propped yourself up on your elbow, wincing at the slight pain in your lower back.
You nodded, adjusting yourself so you were propped up a little better. Fak came in, delivering the coffee you'd brought, and you hadn’t realised until that moment that you’d forgotten all about them. Sighing at your brief lapse in memory, you sipped your iced latte and closed your eyes.
-
“There’s my girl,” Carmy whispered from where he sat at the opposite end of the couch, his hand resting protectively on your calf. “I didn’t want to wake you.”
“What time is it?” Stifling a yawn, you lifted yourself up, back resting against the end of the couch.
“Just past one, baby.”
“One in the morning?”
“Mhmm.”
You groaned, letting your head fall back. “You should’ve woke me up, Carm. We need to go home, you need sleep, too. God knows we won’t get any in five months' time.”
Carmy shook his head, sliding his hands up your shins, rubbing softly, soothingly. He moved to hover over you, resting his forehead against your own. The soft press of his lips was enough to shut you up.
“It’s Saturday, sweetheart, I don’t have to come in until after midday. I just wanted you to get your rest.”
You kissed him back, cupping his jaw in your hands, smoothing your thumbs over the light smattering of stubble. “I didn’t mean to fall asleep.”
“S’okay, baby.” he murmured, peppering your face with kisses. One on your forehead, two on the tip of your nose, one on each cheek. And he descended, pressing a particularly delicate one to the side of your neck, just below your jaw. One against the tender spot beneath your ear.
“Carm,” you whimpered, and part of you was embarrassed at how easily he’d set you alight.
He persisted, sliding his knee between your legs, the fabric of your simple dress riding up with the movement. His hands found their way beneath, skimming up your sides, fingertips brushing over your cotton bra. You arched up, already breathless at the slightest touch.
Carmy pulled back, and the way his messy curls fell in front of his face, shadowing his eyes, the way his chest heaved through the tight fabric of his white shirt… It made you want to take back everything you’d just said. To hell with morals.
“So sensitive,” he mused, the reverberation of his words against your skin like the low bassline of some song you’d never heard.
“Carmy,” you whispered, not wanting the moment to end, but knowing it had to. “Carm, baby, I’m not having sex on your sister’s couch.”
“Yeah, no, yeah. You’re right, that would be weird. Disrespectful and stuff.” He ran a hand through his hair, sighing. You couldn’t help but laugh, gazing up at him with a soft smile.
“God you’re pretty,” you muttered, propping yourself up on your elbows. Carmy climbed off the couch, taking your hands as you reached out for him, a faint blush staining his cheeks.
“Is that right?”
“Mhmm,” you nodded sleepily, kissing his lips once, twice. “Let’s go home.”
Carmy rubbed your back as he led you out of the restaurant to his car, placing a gentle hand on your stomach as he reached over and secured the seatbelt over your lap. After pressing a kiss to your temple, he shut the door and walked around the hood of the car, running his hand over the cool metal.
The drive home was quiet, accented by the quiet hum of the radio as the city lights flashed by, streets and alleys rolling by. When he finally turned onto the home stretch, you sighed, eyelids heavy.
Yawning, you leaned on him a little as he let himself into the apartment, the jingle of the keys echoing down the entry hall. And so began the nightly dance of winding down together. Carmy started the shower, adjusting the water to the perfect temperature, while you headed to the bedroom and grabbed pyjamas, turning down the covers on your way back. Your fingers threaded in his hair, massaging shampoo into the roots, while his hands rested on your waist.
You drew hearts and stars on the foggy mirror as Carmy finished off, spending an extra minute under cold water. He towelled off your legs so you didn’t have to bend down, despite your argument that your belly wasn’t too big yet and that you could manage just fine.
“Doesn’t matter, I like doin’ it.”
And finally, once you’d brushed your teeth and made sure the door was locked, you climbed into bed. Carmy pulled you into his side, making sure you were comfortable, careful not to put any pressure on your stomach.
The moonlight filtered through the crack in the curtains, and you lifted your hand, letting your fingertips drift through the silvery glow. Carmy slid his hand into yours, holding it to his chest, and you could feel the steady thump of his heart against your knuckles.
“Sleep, baby,” he murmured against the top of your head, pressing a kiss there. And because he asked so nicely, you did as he said.

You'd never been on an airplane, having been born in England and always being too little to travel any time previously, you'd never had the chance to experience it, so you definitely had mixed feelings about your first adventure on one of them.
You were heading to Australia for the first time, the world cup was going to be hosted over there in your mama's home country and it was an opportunity that she was ecstatic for and she wanted to share that experience with you.
"Hey sweetie, are you excited about your first big adventure on the airplane?" Your mama, Steph knelt down to meet your eye level.
You weren't so convinced that it would be as fun as your mum kept saying that it would be, "M' scared, Mama. What if the plane's too loud or bumpy?" you questioned.
Steph sympathetically smiled as she gently brushed your hair out of your face, her heart ached for your anxiety about the flight, "I understand, baby and it's perfectly normal to feel a little nervous about flying, escpecially when it's your first time" Steph's voice is gentle and reassuring, "But hey, guess what? I'm going to be right here with you, every single step of the way" she told you.
"Really?" Your voice was quiet as you asked.
Steph nodded in agreement, "Yep, and you know what else? Once we're up in the air, you'll be able to see the clouds and they look so cool, like fluffy pillows just floating in the sky" she told you, trying to make you feel a bit more excited about getting on the plane, "And the flight attendants will bring us snacks and drinks, so it'll just be like a picnic in the clouds" she explained.
A small tentive smile tugged at the corners of your lips, "Really, Mama? Can we have chocolate chip 'ookies?" you ask with wide, hopeful eyes.
"Absolutely, sweetheart. You can have all the chocolate chip cookies that you want, within reason cos' we don't you being sick now, do we?" Steph said as her eyes sparkled in amusement, watching you do a little dance in your seat, "You know what's even better? When we land in Australia, you'll be able to see all the animals as well, like the kangaroos and koalas. Doesn't that sound like fun?" she questioned.
Hearing the mention of animals, your eyes lit up in complete joy, "We're gonna see the Roos'?" you wondered, your apprehension was soon melting away to be replaced with a spark of excitment.
Steph nodded enthusiastically, "Yep, you'll be able to see them hop really, really high" she told you just the flight you were boarding was called out, "That's our flight, sweetie. Are you ready to get on the plane?" she questioned, holding out her hand for you to take.
"Excited, Mama!" You beamed a wide smile, all but now tugging at her hand in the direction of the depature gate, "Come on, Mama. Lets' go, I want to see the 'Roos!" you squealed, excitedly as Steph chuckled in amusment and was quick to follow, not having the heart to tell you that it would be a long flight before you were able to see your beloved 'Roos like you were excited for.

stop to smell the flowers ❀ - oscar piastri
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oscar is so incredulously smitten for his girlfriend to the point he doesn't even know how to express it with words- so he does it through actions and gifts. ~ (self indulgent and SO short)
“Baby?” A soft echo of his voice vibrated through the eerily quiet apartment, not a single noise besides his shoes scuffling against the carpet. Oscar set down his bag on the kitchen counter, toeing his shoes off and kicking them to the side.
He waited again for a response from his girlfriend- but to no avail. He raised his voice slightly higher this time, moving closer towards the shut door of their bedroom. Keeping his noise down, Oscar pressed down on the handle of the door, attempting to keep the screeching creak to a minimum so as to disturb her, or wake her if she was currently sleeping.
To his unsurprise, his girlfriend was curled up in bed, her head resting at the very bottom of her pillow. Her bottom lip was puffed out over the top one, lashes sweeping over the tops of her cheeks. The quiet whistle of breathing filled the room, cutting through the silence from a lack of a fan going in the background.
She had her arms wrapped around a teddy bear, pressed into her chest. It was a small fluffy koala, adorned in a custom made McLaren jersey, a black 81 printed on the back. She’d named it Oscar, the teddy she held close to her each night when he was away.
The real Oscar was returning home to Australia and home to his girlfriend after the Miami grand prix, almost a whole month passing since he’d seen her last on the night after the Japanese grand prix, when he’d brought her to the airport to go back to Melbourne, then flying off to China himself.
Due to her being in her last year of university, her availability to go to every race- or even just most- was limited. She came when she could, but it was more often than not that she was at home, cheering him on from the comfort of her own bed or the couch. They'd gotten semi used to the unfortunately forced long distance relationship they now had, but it didn't make it any bit easier each time they had to part. At times, it felt as if each time he had to leave was just more difficult then the last.
She wasn’t expecting him to come back so soon, and nor did he. He fully thought his flight would be the following day and he got comfortable with the idea of a cosy night at the hotel- maybe a call to her and a movie. It wasn’t until Mark had offered the option for him to fly home just a mere four hours after the race ended- he didn’t waste a minute packing his suitcase back up and boarding the flight.
Oscar peeled back the covers on his side of the bed, making sure as to not disturb her in the process. He slid his shirt off over his head, opening up the closet door to find his favourite shirt. Even after a few minutes of searching both the hangers and the drawers without a sight of it, he looked over at his shoulder, smirking when he saw that it was the shirt his girlfriend had chosen for bed today.
Oscar settled for just a plain white top, his ‘OP’ logo imprinted over the left breast. He unbuttoned his blue jeans, allowing them to pool around his ankles until he stepped out, tossing them into the laundry basket. Now dressed in only his boxers and a far more comfortable shirt then the previous ever so itchy team polo shirt, he climbed into bed.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder as he breathed in the sweet, floral shampoo that filled his senses. It was his favourite smell- it smelt of home. He nuzzled further into her neck, pressing a few chaste, open mouth kisses to her soft skin.
Holding back from any serious marking, Oscar mouthed at her shoulder, dragging his tongue gently over the fabric on her shoulder, letting his teeth rub against it. “I missed you, beautiful,” He whispered, kissing up along her neck.
She whined, unconsciously twisting around in the bed to be facing toward him. He took the opportunity to press a few consecutive kisses to her lips, enough to settle the desperation for contact that bubbled hot in his stomach.
Her eyes fluttered, looking as if they would open. “Hi princess,” He tucked some of her hair back behind her ear, nuzzling back into said spot to re-immerse himself in the flowery scent.
“Osccc,” Her voice was thick and groggy with sleep, her eyes open by mere slits in order to block out as much light as possible. “You’re back!” She mumbled with as much enthusiasm as possible while still being mostly asleep.
“Mhmm,” A grin splayed across his mouth, burying his face further into the crook of her neck. “You smell so good,” He kissed the junction of her  shoulder, leaving his lips there for a few more seconds.
“Why didn’t you tell me you’d be back so soon? I would’ve stayed up,” She cupped his face in her hands, her fingers temperate against his chilly and rosy cheeks. Oscar gave a weak shrug, ignoring the question in lieu for kissing her more to warm himself up.
“It’s okay- I like this,” Oscar mumbled against her bottom lip, kissing her again and again until his jaw physically ached. “I got you a present,”
She tilted her head back, her left hand still positioned on his jaw- her thumb rubbing over his cheek. “Oh really?” She whispered, giggling as he met her question with a dopey grin.
“In the kitchen,” He rolled away from her, stumbling awkwardly back out of the bed. “C’mon, I promise it’s worth getting out of bed for,” He reassured her when he saw the displeased and unconvinced look on her face.
Begrudgingly, she followed suit- stumbling out of the bedroom door while wiping sleep from her eyes. She clung to Oscar, wrapping both of her arms around one of his, as the bottom of her sweatpants dragged along the wooden floorboard.
“It’s like a welcome home present, but for you- not me,” He handed her a bouquet of an assortment of orange flowers- begonias, marigolds, tulips, poppies. Anything that matched the same papaya colour that she wore across her torso.
Her heart pounded at the gesture, looking up at Oscar with the most fond expression. “Thank you, Oz,” She wrapped one of her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly as her other hand worked on holding the bundle of flowers. “Thank you so much, I love them,” She couldn’t help the smile that stretched from one ear to the other on her face, her body alight with elation.
“Of course, baby,” He pressed a kiss to the top of her head, rubbing her back with the hand that held her just as tight as she was holding him. “I think you deserved it with how you’ve been working,”
She scoffed slightly, looking up at him with an incredulous expression. “Me working hard? What about you, Mr ‘Four Podiums in Your Second Year in Formula one?’,”
Oscar gave another mindless shrug, laughing at her comment, “What, like it’s hard?” He teased.

gesture 11 dialogue 10 with alessia?
Putting your hand on your lover's thigh and feeling their eyes on you as they try to figure out your motives. Whether the touch is teasing or just for fun.
"I am trusting you with that hand, darling. I hope my trust isn't misplaced."
alessia is clingy.
a well known fact to you and everyone who's spent more than five minutes with you both.
not that you'd ever complain though- her hands are just constantly on you in some way.
her arms find their home wrapped around your arm when you're just standing next to her.
her hand always finds yours on top of the table- or under the table on your thigh.
loose blonde strands of her hair seem to always cling to your clothes.
her perfume lingers on your clothes, in your car, and in your apartment so much so- that some of your teammates just know when alessia's been around.
teasing comments from the girls play on a constant loop- and alessia seems to not realise that by burying her face in your neck it gives them more fuel. or, she does know and just doesn't care- you suspect the latter cause you can feel her smile into your neck every time, without fail.
-
you have a day off in australia- and lessi has dragged you to the beach, bright and early in the morning.
you almost trip in the sand and face plant when the blonde dragging you comes to an abrupt stop.
she pushes you down by your shoulders and plops herself down into your lap- her hands grabbing your to wrap around herself.
"comfy there?"
you question her- and she rest her back against you, looking up at you with a smile and reaching up to press kisses to your cheek quickly.
"yes. very. best pillow ever."
you almost reply when a loud voice cuts you off.
"hey guys!"
you both look to the side where ella is walking up to you two, maya trailing behind her with mary.
you press a kiss to alessia's head and push her off to the side. ignoring her pouting to hug the trio who just arrived.
when you settle back next to her, her hand rests on your thigh. you ignore it- used to her wandering hands, but when you feel her hand inching up closer you grab it- lacing your fingers together, you press a kiss to each of her knuckles and finally look at her. she's looking away- acting all innocent as she chats away to tooney.
so, you let go of her had- and not even a second later, her hand finds its way back to your thigh.
you look back at her and this time, she's smiling right at you- batting innocent eyes.
you narrow your eyes at her- waving an accusatory finger in her face.
"i am trusting you with that hand, darling. i hope my trust isn't misplaced."
alessia just nods at you- her hand squeezing your thigh.

melbourne weather k.m x r
Tumblr media
plot: you bring your girlfriend back down to your family for the holidays to enjoy a hot Christmas but the Melbourne weather seems to disappoint you.
warnings: fluff, shitty fucking Melbourne weather (I hate living here), Australian reader!, the format is kinda just like my Christmas day soooo (ik Katie didn't win poll but an anon messaged me and I love accepting my anons requests)
Tumblr media
You stirred in your bed as you couldn't sleep Surprisingly the air was cold and you looked at your closed blinds with a squint to see if you could see if it was still dark outside or not.
Your girlfriend Katie however was knocked out like a light, you assumed it was because out of all the games she had she hardly came off recently, she was tired so you convinced your mother last night to open morning presents around 10 instead of 9 to let her sleep in.
It felt like a normal night in North London which you hated, usually on December 24th in Australia you would toss and turn in your bed because you were too hot under your blanket but too cold when you weren't under it.
You promised Katie a hot Australian Christmas.
But you did live in Melbourne where it didn't matter what season you were in, everyday would be different.
You sat up to check behind the blinds in curiosity but Katie must have noticed the weight change in the bed and grabbed out to you "Come back to sleep" she mumbled into her pillow "weather will change" she mumbled again as she remembered all the changes in weather during the world cup that Australia and New Zealand had hosted.
You nodded your head as fatigue came over you and lowered back down to which you snuggled into Katie who pulled you even closer "I love you" she whispered into your ear as you smiled "I love you too".
When 10 eventually came your father was quick to blast music to wake you, Katie and your siblings up.
When Mariah Careys 'all I want for Christmas' seemed to get louder and louder as your dad came up the stairs you grabbed a pillow nearby and grabbed it, ready to throw it at him but Katie laughed and pulled the pillow down "let's get up c'mon"
You all opened your presents downstairs as your mum took pictures left right and center but your thoughts were stuck to the windows outside as the clouds grew grey and there was no sun in sight.
You watched Katie open your last gift to her as she revealed a locket necklace, she smiled at you in amazement, it was the same colour as her claddagh ring so it would match "Open it" you encouraged.
When she did you smiled brighter, it was a picture of you two from when you first met and on the other side was her family.
"When you're on camp and you miss me and when you're in London and you miss your family" you explained and Katie brought you into a hug.
"I love it" she assured you and pecked your lips.
Then you all got ready for the rest of your family to come over as Katie set the table with your mum.
"You make her really happy," your mum told Katie who was concentrating on making sure the forks and knives were equally close to each other "She makes me very happy" Katie smiled at your mum before a comfortable silence followed.
"I don't want to intrude but I saw the ring" your mum admitted to Katie as she popped her head up "I was going to get permission from you guys first I promise-" "Katie" your mother assured her, "I think we gave our blessing when she first brought you home to meet us" she laughed and Katie felt her heart grow.
Your mum looked out the window "she's going to hate this weather, she wanted you to experience a hot Christmas day, all she talked about when she told me she was coming home for the holidays"
Katie looked down as she heard footsteps come down the stairs, it was you. You wore a long white linen dress your mother had bought for you and you wore your birken stock shoes that Katie liked to call 'Jesus shoes' but she looked at you in admiration.
"Katie you better start getting ready" you told her as you looked at the time "you look beautiful in white" your mum told you as she walked by and gave a wink to Katie who was still looking at you.
You walked down the stairs and grazed your hand over the locket she now wore. "I knew the colour would match you well" you smiled, proud of yourself.
But you frowned now that rain had started to fall "I'm sorry" you said as Katie furrowed her brows "For what baby?" she asked and you shook your head "I wanted you to experience the hot sun that Australia had to offer on a Christmas day but apparently it decided to give us shit weather" you pouted as you looked out "It doesn't matter" Katie said as you turned to her "of course it matters" you said
"We have many more years we can experience it," she said and you blushed "Many more?" you asked and Katie nodded "Of course, I don't plan on leaving do you?" she asked with a smirk "Never" you smirked back before you heard your dog barking as a car arrived "okay now you really have to get dressed" you stressed before pushing her up stairs to your childhood bedroom where you two were staying.
As more family members arrived and Katie got dressed into her own outfit you all laughed at memories being thrown around and you cringed when Katie shared a story of you accidentally cheering when the other team scored a goal so you got her back by counting how many yellow cards she had received in the past season.
The day past as your auntie and uncles and cousins bought you gifts such as plates and glasses for your home in London "not sure how we're going to get these on a plane but cheers guys I love you all" you smiled as they laughed but Katie whispered in your ear "seriously how are we going to get these over to London".
You had all changed into comfortable clothes as Katie nudged you "wanna go on a walk to see Christmas lights?" she asked and you looked outside "It's still raining" you complained and your father scoffed from the couch "toughen up y/n" (my dad would do this)
Katie pointed at your father agreeing with him before you nodded your head again "Okay let's go" you smiled before grabbing an umbrella and saying goodbye to your family.
On your walk you noticed Katie looking nervous so you grabbed her hand into yours "You okay?" you asked and she nodded. There wasn't many people looking at Christmas lights as many people were still out with families but there were 1 or 2 families nearby "Yeah I'm okay" she reassured you but it was clear you weren't convinced.
"Katie" you said as she turned to you "I wasn't lying when I said we have many years to experience this" she said seriously as you smiled "I know" you said with a smile but Katie was still serious "Katie what's going on?" you asked
Katie looked like she was fighting a battle in her head before she put her hand in her pocket, you tried not to think straight to a proposal as you had thought that many times in the past year so you closed your eyes in fear "Why are you closing your eyes?" Katie questioned as you kept them shut "Cause I'm scared" you admitted as you heard her laugh "open them love" she said and you slowly opened them to reveal Katie on one knee with a ring box opened in her hand that held a beautiful silver ring that the Christmas lights shined on.
A gasp slid of your tongue as your hands went to your face "don't act to shocked you knew it was gonna happen sooner or later" Katie smiled "I want to be with you for every holiday, no matter what weather y/n" she said as you lowered to your knees to be level with her.
"even shitty melbourne weather?" you asked
"especially in shitty melbourne weather" she smiled

baby, it's cold outside
alternatively: she just wants to stay in bed
in which she always get seasonal depression at the same time of the year and he tries to make her feel better about it
(series masterlist)
Tumblr media
logan opens the door to their apartment, slightly baffled at the eerie silence he's greeted with. he smiles slightly when stubby approaches him with a smile, hopping right by him as he slips his shoes off right by the entryway.
the corgi pads behind him by a step as he makes his way further into the house. when he entered the living room, he had half expected to find his girlfriend sitting on the couch with kidnapper on her lap while she binged on the new netflix show she started to watch last night.
but nothing. his girlfriend is nowhere to be found in the common areas.
he hums before heading for his room - the last place he had seen her before he left in the morning for the gym. surely enough, there she was still in the same spot as he remembered.
"you haven't eaten yet?" logan voices out, gently putting his bag down right by his bedroom door. he turns on the light, tilting his head in confusion when she pulls the blankets over her head. "babe, it's almost one in the afternoon."
"i'm not hungry," she answers simply.
"have you gotten out of bed yet?"
"no, i don't have anything to do today."
"have you fed the kids?"
"i thought you fed them breakfast."
"i did. what about lunch? they were supposed to eat at twelve-thirty."
she doesn't respond immediately. she removes the blanket from her head and turns to look at him. "i lost track of time. i'm sorry."
she starts to push herself off the bed, carefully moving around the cat that's decided to take solace at the foot of the bed right next to her feet. "i'll do it right now."
"hey, don't worry about it," logan sighs, walking over to where she is. he holds her shoulders and gently forces her back down to her previous spot. "what's wrong? you're usually up and about by nine."
she lowers her chin and then lifts her eyes to meet him. she pushes her hair behind her ear and sighs. "it's too cold," she mutters, shaking her head slightly. "and it's so dark outside - i couldn't get myself out of bed."
something immediately connects in his head. he should've known that this was coming. every year, without fail, during the peak of winter when it gets too cold to do anything, she tends to start feeling a little bit under the weather.
the sun is only out for a short window of time every day, and it’s only contributed to how hard it’s been to get herself out of bed.
everything just seems so blue and mellow, as she’s said several times before.
“okay, how about,” logan hums with a small smile, taking a seat on the edge of his bed. he takes his hands into hers. “i’ll go make lunch, feed kidnapper and stubby. and then let’s go on a date? let’s go drive to the park outside of town and take a walk?
“or, if you want… i heard from ciara that there’s a new go-kart place that opened downtown. if you wanna race, we can go and do that!”
“the sun is gonna set in two hours,” she whines, throwing herself back into the bed head first. “what is the point of even doing anything during the winter?”
“don’t say that,” logan frowns, pulling her up to prevent her from lying back down. “we’re heading to australia in a couple of days — just hang on for a bit and then we can go bask in the sun and piss oscar off.”
“that’s too far away. i don’t wanna do anything until we absolutely have to leave for the airport,” she insists, attempting to drop herself back into the bed once more. “just leave me here to rot and die.”
he laughs softly, letting go of her hands when she drops herself on her back one more time. she turns around to lie on her stomach and buries her face into his pillow. “babe, you have to eat something.”
“i don’t have to eat anything. a human body can survive days without food,” she says, moving her head slightly to peek at him with one eye. “i hate winter. i’m so glad we’re going to melbourne for christmas.”
“i won’t be able to go to melbourne with you if you don’t eat anything,” logan frowns, resting a hand on her lower back. he shakes her slightly, prompting an annoyed mew from the black cat on the bed. “sorry.”
“i’ll starve until melbourne.”
“babe.”
“baby.”
he presses his lips together, trying to rake his brain for the file that had the list of ways that they would do over the years to pull her out of her seasonal depression. it’s always a challenge to try and remember the whole list.
instead of thinking, logan inches forward before resting his entire body weight on her back. she groans and attempts to roll out from under him, but he doubles down and simply grabs her wrists.
“let me cook you lunch so i can nurture you! your mum will kill me if i let you starve!”
“she won’t know unless you tell her!”
“i’ll tell her!”
“then i’ll feel bad cause she will kill you! just don’t tell her!”
“feel bad enough to eat what i’ll cook you?”
“no!”
“what if we go to the chinese restaurant down the street?”
he feels her lift her head, making him crane his neck to look at her. she pushes the hair out of her face and stares at him blankly. “beef noodles? dimsum? really?”
he smiles at her enthusiasm. “yeah, of course. that’s what you eat off their menu.”
for the first time that day, there’s a spark in her eye and a smile that he’s glad is finally making an appearance. “and then let’s go-kart after?”
“yeah! it’s a date?” he gets off her to sit up, letting her roll over and sit up with him. “and then we can go to your favourite cafe for some coffee and cake.”
she lifts her eyebrows, puckering her lips out. “oo, cake.”
she sits on her legs with her hands resting on her knees politely. “i’ll get ready after i feed the kids! hold on.” she starts moving away from him, crawling towards the other side of the bed. “kidnapper, let’s feed you.”
logan yanks her into him, making her fall on her back and her head lands in his lap. he grins and pinches her cheek lightly. “i’ll feed them. you go get ready.”
“but i was supposed to feed them lunch.”
“yeah, but i’m here now. i can do that,” he beams. “you worry about getting ready — i’ll take care of everything else.”
she pouts her lip out. she stretches her arms up towards him, cupping his cheeks to squish his face. “that’s so sweet. thank you.”
“of course.” he scrunches his nose as she pulls him down, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. “cup of orange juice for the pretty girl?"

day 2 of the 12 days of Christmas maxiel advent calendar for @catofthecanals289!
"What are you reading?"
Max had been expecting this or some other conversation starter from Daniel. Since climbing into bed to find Max ignoring him in favour of his book, he's been making a big show of 'getting comfy'. It’s involved a lot of dramatic sighing, rearranging the bed covers and wriggling, all of which Max has been stubbornly ignoring.
He is just getting to the interesting part.
"A book," he says not lifting his eyes from the page, then just to be an asshole, "You know, the paper that has words on which tell a story?"
Of course, Daniel knows really. On his bedside table there is his own stack of books that range from the biographies of UFC fighters filled with bloody tales of victory, to the romance novels that he and Victoria post back and forth, and then spend hours discussing on the phone when they have both finished.
"Wow, really?" Daniel says sarcastically, as his toes poke Max's calf under the covers. Then, settling closer, so his head is resting on Max’s pillow, "What’s the story?"
Max sighs, resting the book open on his chest so as not to lose his place. Even after years together, Max still hasn't become immune to the way Daniel can so easily steal all his attention, making it impossible to focus on anything or anyone else. Since he started talking Max has already read the same sentence three times over.
It is of course, not very fair because Max had warned Daniel that he wanted to finish this chapter tonight, but Max finds that, like always, he isn't really annoyed. It is just so typical of Daniel to now demand his undivided attention.
Maybe this is payback for all the blow jobs Max initiates while he is having ‘important’ phone conversations with his Enchanté people, though Daniel never seemed to mind much at the time.
"It is a mystery book," Max says simply, then, "a scary one, so of course you will not like it."
Daniel makes an indignant noise of protest.
"Woah, come on mate," he says, his soft brown eyes wide on Max’s face as his head tilts up to look at him. Now, it is firmly rested on Max's shoulder, Daniel inching closer by the second. "I've got balls of steel, nothing scares me."
Max doesn't need to say, except sharks, and dogs, and coming out of the closet, because his raised eyebrows do it for him. Daniel rolls his eyes, but he does relent a little.
"Well, okay,” he allows, "whatever. But a little book can't scare me."
Taking in the stubborn look on Daniel’s face, Max can’t help the way his lips twitch upwards. Daniel’s toes have stopped prodding, and are now just rubbing gently up and down Max’s leg, catching the hair there against the grain. Daniel’s own legs are buttery smooth from his waxing appointment earlier today. Max knows because nuzzled between them on the sofa as soon as Daniel got home, just had to get his mouth on them to feel how there would be nothing for his tongue to catch against for a few days, until it started to grow back.
Every change to Daniel’s body, Max wants to be the first to know it.
“Do you want sex again?” Max asks, “Is that why you are being a pest?” Then, giving into a grin, he adds, “A sex pest.”
He’s proud of his joke, then prouder when Daniel laughs so loud Sassy raises her head to glare at him from where she had been sleeping soundly at the bottom of their bed.
“Nah,” Daniel says easy, and nuzzles further into Max’s side as if to prove a point. “I just- Will you read to me?” As though sensing Max’s hesitation, he adds, “It’s been a long fucking week.”
It has. Daniel got home from Australia only a few nights ago, dead on his feet with the jet lag only to be thrown straight into Alpha Tauri’s media duties, and Max into Red Bull’s. In a few days, they will need to leave again, to fly to Barcelona for testing. The moments they manage to snatch truly for them and nobody else will become farther and farther apart again, as will the nights they get to spend in their own home, in their own bed.
“Okay,” Max relents, with this in mind, “but no interrupting all of the time with questions. The Q and A will take place at the end.”
His request will fall on deaf ears, no doubt, and Max will indulge all of Daniel’s musings like always.
“Pinky swear,” Daniel promises, and he lifts up his little finger to hook around Max’s. It’s the one with the blank space that Daniel has also promised to cover with the number ‘33,’ when they retire, to match the other. Max lifts it to his lips to kiss it, before he picks up the book to find his place again.
He still doesn’t think Daniel will like the story much, but as he shuffles down to settle his head against Max’s chest, breath fanning out over the sensitive skin of Max’s nipples, Max begins to read.
“Now imagine just beyond your peripheral vision, maybe behind you, maybe to the side of you, maybe even in front of you, but right where you can't see it, something is quietly closing in on you, so quiet in fact you can only hear it as silence. Find those pockets without sound. That's where it is. Right at this moment.
But don't look.
I didn’t.”
-
Max is at the beach.
There are soft grains of sand under his toes, and sunlight so strong it is blinding him as he squints out to the sea, looking. He’s walking towards the water, but even though the sand becomes damp against the soles of his feet, the vast expanse of blue seems to get further and further away.
“Max,” Daniel’s voice comes as a hushed but frantic whisper, as though carried to him on the wind. “Maxy.”
It’s then Max realises whose silhouette he is trying to make out on the horizon. He can’t see him though, no matter how much wider he tries to open his eyes against the overbearing sun, and how fast he starts to run towards it.
“Daniel!” He yells, but it’s as though the wind carries his voice the wrong way, behind him. It’s lost. “Daniel!” He tries again, but this time there is only silence in the place of his voice. Now in the water, he can make out circling objects in the shape of shark fins. His lungs burn as his feet slap wetly against the ground, slowing him down.
“Max,” Daniel’s voice is louder now, more urgent. The sharks are going to eat him, if Max doesn’t get there in time. “Maxy, baby-“
“Max, wake up.”
Max’s eyes fly open. Gone is the quicksand beneath his feet, the blazing light, and the battering wind. It’s replaced instead with the dark and warm of their bedroom. Against his side, Daniel’s body is so hot and every place they are touching is sweat sticky. Still, Max’s arms tighten around him, silently reminding himself that home means safety these days.
His heart is still hammering in his chest, but he tries to sound controlled when he lets out a sleep-stained, croaky, “Hey.”
“Sorry.” Daniel sounds guilty, and Max frowns, his brain still too cloudy with sleep to work anything out.
“What is it?”
He’s expecting to hear that one of the cats- which always become Max’s cats the moment they misbehave- has thrown up on the bed again, or maybe Max was just disturbing Daniel with his nightmare. Instead-
“Don’t laugh,” Daniel says, his voice a whisper in the dark even though there is no one else to wake up now. “Don’t- Can you go check the bathroom?”
Max rubs his eyes, blearily. A glance at the clock on his bedside table tells him it is 2 AM, so he can’t have been asleep for long.
“Check the- What? Daniel, what-“
“I think I heard something,” Daniel interrupts him, “can you just- Please, baby, can you just check no one is in there.”
For a moment, Max lies completely still, trying to catch the noise Daniel is referring to. Probably, it is one of the cats, but when Max sits up in the bed and looks down at where Daniel is curled beneath the covers with only his head poking out from beneath them, he can make out the shine of his wide, pleading eyes even in the dark.
“Is this because of the scary book?” Max asks, his eyebrows raised, “Because-“
“Max, please,” Daniel says again, a little desperately, interrupting the glory of Max’s, I told you so.
Shaking his head with a fond smile, Max swings his legs over the side of the bed and gets to his feet.
“Really, Daniel,” he says, padding towards their bathroom door, “it is very unfair that if there was a murderer in our home, you are happy to sacrifice me to them.”
What he doesn’t say is the way it is also nice, that they can find just the kind of safety they need in each other.
“Yeah, yeah,” Daniel says, trying for casual but his still slightly shaking voice gives him away, “I’ll remember to feed the beasts if you get ghost murdered.”
“Oh, it’s a ghost now?” Max muses with another laugh as he flicks on the light. He doesn’t need to look, because of course there is no one in the home apart from him, Daniel and the cats, but he makes a show of doing it anyway, to put Daniel’s mind at ease. “Well, please be quiet Mr Ghost, it is bedtime.”
As suspected, Sassy looks up at him guiltily from where she’d been sharpening her claws on the bathmat. Max leans down to pat her bum and move her along, then flicks the light off again. Just for good measure, he looks inside their wardrobe and under their bed, before getting back into it.
“The coast is clear,” Max promises, lifting up his arm for Daniel to curl back underneath. Still, he is too hot, but for a few more moments he can stand some cuddling, if it means the thundering of Daniel’s heart he can feel pressed against him begins to slow.
“The ghost is clear,” Daniel corrects, and then they both dissolve into overtired giggles. When they’ve trailed off into silence, save for the purring of Jimmy who has now joined them to see what all the excitement is about, Daniel says again, softer, “Thank you, baby.”
Max just presses a kiss to the tip of Daniel’s nose, before succumbing to his heavy eyelids, and turning over onto his side to sleep. Of course, Daniel presses himself all along the line of Max’s back, but Max doesn’t protest. He can endure a little longer.
He is about to drop off, when-
“You can’t tell anyone your stupid book scared the shit out of me, okay?” Daniel whispers, lips catching on the back of Max’s neck, making him shiver. He’ll save the follow up of that feeling for the morning.
Now, he just reaches a hand behind himself blindly in the dark, until he finds the top of Daniel’s tattooed thigh to squeeze it gently. His fingertips trace over where he knows the heart will be, without even having to look
“Of course, I will not,” he promises easily, “would not want to ruin the, what was it again? 'Balls of steel' reputation?”
Besides, there are some parts of Daniel he likes to keep all for himself.

“You’ll Survive”
Summary : Toto comes home from Australia sick. Toto being a big baby! Rating : N/A Pairing : Toto Wolff x Reader Word Count : 500 - one off blurb Trigger Warnings : this is pure fluff! Common cold/sickness if you don’t want to engage with that
Tumblr media
The second the door closed and his heavy bags were dropped on the marble floor you already knew what was coming. As soon as Toto landed in Nice an hour ago he messaged you to say how unwell he was. At first you panicked because one thing you knew for sure about Toto was that he was rarely ever sick - the man took too many vitamins and supplements to be catching all the bugs that regularly went around the F1 grid - but upon listing his symptoms like you were his own personal Meredith Grey, you calmed down when you realised it sounded like he just had a case of the cold. Toto insisted (in lock caps) it wasn’t “just a cold” and he might have the plague or something equally as contagious and nasty. So the moaning and groaning that echoed through the halls of your shared abode made you get up to go check he would survive.
When you reached him you were actually quite surprised at how bad he did actually look. He was a slight pale grey colour and his brow was glistening in the early beads of sweat - essentially he looked like one of those shiny, creepy vampires from that late 2000’s teen novels but you decided not to tell him that and annoy him.
He coughed a few times which you thought was more for dramatic effect than actually coughing and turned to face you. “Help me.” He sniffled and you instantly thought how badly you would make him suffer if you caught whatever cold he had brought back from Australia with him.
The next day, after sleeping straight through his two alarms and never leaving the bed, Toto was no better and although seeing him so miserable tugged at your heart strings you hated him for keeping you awake with his constant coughing and spluttering most of the night. You fetched him some medicine and water from the kitchen and found him groaning again when you got back to your bedroom.
“I think I need a Doctor.” Toto overdramatised when he had to lift his head off the pillow to take the tablets you had brought him. “You don’t need a Doctor for a case of man flu.” Your eyes nearly rolled straight out of your head you eye rolled that hard. Toto never caught it. He was too busy sneezing into a tissue to notice. “I never get sick. Why is this happening to me?” That’s it. It was official. Toto was a pure bread drama queen. This performance was Oscar worthy. “Relax babe, it’s just a cold. You’ll be fine, you’ll survive.” You couldn’t help but laugh at the way he was staring up at you with big full “help me” eyes. Exactly the same way as he did it the night before when you put him to bed like a toddler.
Toto may have been the man, the “trouser wearer” as such, the boss, the one in command and control at work AND in your home. But you realised that the man was one big ass baby when he wasn’t well.
