DANGANRONPA V3 SPOILERS FOR CHAPTERS 1 AND 6!!!! (Idk if anyone needs that warning but better safe than sorry)

When I first played NDRV3 and got to the part where they discover Rantaro’s body in the Library I distinctly remember focusing on the blood splatter on the wall by his body.

I was basically in full detective mode at that point so noted in my head that Rantaro must’ve been struck from behind for that certain blood stain to occur.

Then the investigation started and the blood on the wall wasn’t included as a truth bullet so I thought maybe I’d just watched too much true crime and was thinking too hard about what could’ve just been an artistic design choice to show that avacado boy was in fact now guacamole and not just unconscious.

Come to the trial and Kaede confirming that she dropped the shotput ball from above and I was convinced that it was just me over analysing.

I forgot about my theory since as the game progressed my mind went and focused on trying to solve the other murders - until chapter 6…

…and Tsumugi is uncovered as the one who killed Rantaro. It’s then mentioned that she did so by surprise surprise striking him in the back of the head!

I was fucking amazed! My original theory was correct and I didn’t even realise it at the time 😂
