I had to make a new shipping meme and a new Winnie the Pooh Casting Meme with characters from Puss in Boots movies, The Adventures of Puss in Boots series and Over the Hedge.
Yes, I personally ship Dulcinea with Guy Fox because I ship Puss x Kitty. I know Guy Fox is a bad guy and he tried to take advantage of Dulcinea's admiration towards him.
In my head-canon though, Guy Fox realized the more bad things he was doing to others the worse things started to happen to him. So he decided to change his ways for better and make up the bad things he had done to others.
After learning how being good feels really good, he decided to reconcile with Dulcinea. At first, she refused to believe he had changed for better but she found out how genuinely he had made up for his past actions and she decided to forgive him. After several weeks, they started to have a romantic relationship with each other.
Dulcinea did have a relationship with Puss but they broke up due to Puss' ego getting the best of him.

My friend's thoughts on read Gideon the Ninth (she's doing audio book)... Spoilers obviously
Oh my God I'm less than an hour in and I'm sick of the word ass
The gals have just arrived at wherever it is they've gone to
Like it's taken 7 chapters to get the information of "I tried to run away, did not succeed, that Slag I hate who killed her parents wants me to be her guard dog, were off lets go"
I can't believe this bitch just said "yo"
Gideon is full cockney
"He had upsetting biceps" mood
I need you to know he's incredibly Welsh (regarding Magnus)
Yeah Magnus is my fave tbh I'm like just make the book about him
Oh what the fuck (Magnus died)
Are you joking me this is a travesty it's rude (Still Magnus)
I think I like Harrow because she's just unapologetically a bitch and Im here for that
70% of this book is everyone arguing
If they were that committed to killing like 200 other kids why not just... Stab her???
I'm like Gideon you just had a bath for the first time are you sure you wanna try the pool babygirl
Cause she sounds like she's old Gideon stop being a gentraphile (about Dulcinea)
I've been listening to this whole thing like weird flex that you fancy her but ok
(At this point she told me I'd need to give her the plot for the next two books as she wasn't invested enough to get them)
Nah I got like 2 hours left. More people have died and the CEO of the universe is en route
To be fair I'd be fuming if I was the emperor and I'd paid for all of my world rules to go on an all expenses paid trip to my second home and they all start dying for real and ruining the house
V glad Naberius Tern is dead
Oh lawd everyone really do be dying
"I want to die! Why was I born so attractive?" Is such a big mood
She has bought and finished Harrow. I'll collate her thoughts soon.

Things were happening too much. Gideon "Griddle" Nav, Chapter 30
I'm gonna have to split these up because there's so much going on.
previously, in gideon the ninth:
this happened
currently, having finished chapter 34:
well, I am exhausted and I'm just reading this
"gideon can't catch a break" should be the subtitle of this book
we literally can't finish a world-shattering disaster, we're onto the next one
the skeletons can't clean the blood fast enough
so, palmolive has a plan
palmolive's plans are like my cousin playing d&d, he talks as if the plan is bulletproof but then you hear him and it's some looney tunes shit
they work more frequently than not, which is infuriating but also moves things along
I feel like I'm constantly arguing with this guy in my head
palmolive's plan is to use the mind reading thingy harrow leveled up when they won against the first boss to show her mentally how dulcinea's key was so that they can break in that door
there are 2546 things that could go wrong with this, but he says he's super sure
he's not, in fact, super sure, but it works
camilla, my qp wife, has the poker face of the century
they look at the room and find some stuff, pins in a board, necromancer notes, the fact that the skeletons aren't constructs, you know, the usual
oh and that teacher and the other dudes are all super dead
which, we all kinda knew that
the fact that the old man didn't have a heart attack at this point is prove enough he doesn't have a beating heart to begin with
I'm gonna say, I love learning book lore and understanding how things work in said lore, but this book is making me feel terribly dumb
I don't know if it's a language barrier, the fact that Gideon doesn't understand the stuff herself and she's the narrator or what, but I feel so dumb sometimes reading their explanations
the gist of it, I believe, is that they don't know what's powering them to do what they do...or who
they can't really delve into it because a fire alarm goes off
I haven't blamed dulcinea for things yet but you know how I feel about her, they check on her and she's still alive, so she's still a threat in my book
they fix the alarm but they can't really delve into it because the Second has murdered Teacher (he wasn't alive but he kind of was, you know how it is) and ratted them out to the Emperor
but Teacher says "one of them" can't come back, which makes me think this isn't as simple as they think it is
the second is a goner btw
they were a goner the moment they thought they could take on Camilla The Everything, love of my life
but they can't really delve into it because mayonnaise uncle and duracell bunny nephew tell them the third have opened up abigail's body
they can't really delve into that either because palmolive figures out that abigail had a key inside her body and the third have gone through the door it opened
the third is like when you have a dog that's constantly making noise and then, for 10 straight minutes you don't hear them, so you just know they've done something bad
so gideon, harrowbean, palmolive, my qp wife, mayonnaise uncle and duracell bunny nephew all go to confront the third
yandere simulator twin is bloody and cryptic in the middle of the room
I could go on a tangent and talk about the madwoman archetype in victorian literature and how she's a representation of the 'lucia' archetype (no relation to me), dulcinea of the 'ophelia' and maybe regina george twin could be a closeted 'jane'
I'm not going to, though, you're welcome for that
so regina george twin is crying in a corner (gideon is emotionally doing the same, probably) and chad is dead on the ground
get wrecked, asshole
well, he's not dead-dead, nobody in this book is ever dead-dead, this is the hotel california of space
yandere twin has absorbed chad's ghost like piccolo and kami sama in dragon ball (rip akira toriyama)
she says she's figured it all out and the whole test was so a necro would soul-fuse with a cav, one flesh one blood one end one bed, I forgot how the oath went
I don't think she's figured it out because we're not ending this book yet
palmolive also doesn't think so
very important note: there's writing on the wall (literal and metaphorical) again saying "you lied to us" and it's the same writing that was featured before and we still don't know what that's about
so the eighth goes berserk and mayonnaise uncle wants to fight yandere twin for slurping chad's soul
duracell bunny nephew goes like "I'm not sure about this" and that was the moment I knew he was toast
I have already established I feel dumb reading the explanations but, for what I can understand, what the eighth does is that the necro detaches the soul of the cav and makes him astral project elsewhere for a time but there's always a tether to bring him back, if that is broken or he drifts too far he can't come back but other things could go into his body instead, or something like that
which is what happens
I thought that the recent dead had, because gideon says there were six people in him, and we've got 6 dead (protozoa, the unknown corpse, the 2 teens and the bride and groom), but idk
all this happens after yandere twin fights using chad's moves and some magic body jelly
this is body horror territory, there are tongues coming out of orifices that should not have tongues and goo flying all over the place
the eighth is dead at the end of it, yandere twin and her inner chad are gone and regina george twin is crying because she wanted to be the one absorbed, which I guess makes sense considering she was training with swords
you know, I had my suspicions that maybe she wasn't a necro after all, but harrow distracted me when she said she must have been a good one
so now we're down to: gideon, harrowbean, palmolive, my wife, regina george twin, yandere twin w/inner chad and dulcinea my mortal enemy
and whoever it is that's coming in after the second contacted whatever number there was in the space phone tree
also, protozoa was one of the two bodies that were cooked earlier on, we still don't know who the second is
there's more we don't know than what we do know
see you on the next one, if you're not yet tired of me

One thing I love about the locked tomb, that Tamsyn was a genius for, is how you simply can't predict what is coming next.
Who would've thought, after reading GTN even with *that ending* that our golden girl Gideon would only show up for the last ten percent of the next book?
Who could've predicted Harrow giving herself a lobotomy and fantasizing an alternate reality?
Who would've called it that the lyctors of old would be three bitter scraps?
Who in their right mind would theorize Gideon as god's daughter conceived from a lyctor scheme to open the tomb??
Dios Apate Minor??? Hello???
Who correctly guessed that the Emperor Undying's name would be John.
And with all the new info from HTN it gets easier, right?
WRONG.
Camilla Hect sharing a body with Palamedes, a brand new character who is a milf in the body of the guy request to kill/test Harrow, Harrowhark but not really possessed by The Body who is also a baby are our new protagonists and they're playing house.
Also... where the fuck are we? What- The dog has how many legs!?
In between that John is podcasting his descent into madness and corruption AND YOU WOMT GUESS WHO HE BASED ALECTO ON. Also he's a streamer, cowhater, and likes coke zero.
Prepare yourself also for Chussy, Friendship Bracelets, another betraying duplicitous slut, John's depressed hoe era, Sarpedon booty call, Get in line thou big slut, etc, etc.
And what here could've prepared us for The Unwanted Guest??? Huh? "Theater of the mind you say? DULCINEA?? French Maid Ianthe???"

it seems like pets aren’t really a thing in the houses, but what pets would you give the tlt charas if they had them (obv nona gets every puppy ever)
you asked the right guy i have Opinions on this
gideon: pet rock. she would also have a dog but shes a pretty mid dog owner- she loves that puppy to pieces and feeds it stuff off her own plate but its very reactive and she doesnt mind. "he doesnt bite" yes he does
harrow: snake. i can also see her having spiders but its less about owning pets with the 'creep' factor and more on having something reasonably low-maintenance with attention-giving, and also she likes seeing them eat stuff. in my dog au she has a really pathetic runt black lab that loves her to pieces and it forces harrow to go outside and receive affection and its adorable to me
pal & cam: in dog au they have a whippet named artemis and a greyhound named apollo respectively. they have such trembling lame skinny ass dogs but they have an Aesthetic about it. outside of dog au i do see palamedes as a (tentative) cat person! cam is neutral on animals
coronabeth would have an exotic pet :( sad but i know it. shes rich and thinks she would be special enough to properly handle one
isaac and jeannemary want a big dog so fucking bad but instead the fifth got them a goat. they still think its cool
dulcinea would be allergic to the dander dogs/cats have so i have multiple ideas 1. also snake. (sorry i have been watching too many snake videos) 2. sphinx cat 3. not really a pet but she would really like terrariums

I'm less certain about this than pre-Limbus dropping, but there was something I noted a while back.
Don's lit quote-"To reach the unreachable star", and her Weapon Phrase ("Sueño Imposible", aka "Impossible Dream") come from a Don Quixote stage musical from the 60s, Man of La Mancha. (The Impossible Dream being one song, and "To reach the unreachable star" being a line from that song).
There's a line in the musical about Dulcinea, Don Quixote's invented love interest who in reality is a peasant woman named Aldonza-"She's made of flame and air." Who do we know who has constant sun symbolism?
Back in the day, I wondered if maybe Don could constantly hear Carmen and was chasing after her to 'rescue' her, which is why she's so idiosyncratic-she's just barely teetering on the edge between normality, Distortion and EGO without going anywhere. It seems wrong now, but I would like for this idea to be represented somewhere.
the concept of having don want to "rescue carmen" makes me want to gnaw on a sofa like a dog, anon. i LOVE this idea – especially with the added commentary from the source/past adaptations.
i love how there's a moment in yield my flesh where heathcliff turns to don as if genuinely expecting her to know how to act to save dante, only for her to flounder in a panic. the implications of that moment combined with your idea sounds incredible – not only for don, but also for carmen, who is self-sacrificial to a capital F Fault. with carmen's existence as the voice of the distortion, i think carmen challenges the notion of "saving" as an action, because of how she refuses to be saved.
carmen and don are extremely interesting foils in this way – they both want to make the world a better place, but one does not care how many lives are lost in the ensuing chaos, while the other is trying to right the wrongs specifically made during/because of chaos.
i think don would be an extremely interesting candidate for distortion.

I guess something about the combination of being back at the scrapyard and spending his evening sorting through their household waste for compost for the worm bin has Tyler feeling like he's the good ol' days!
For those keeping track at home, Tyler is now:
Loner
Cheerful (formerly Gloomy)
Loyal
Recycle Disciple
I might have thought twice about accepting it if I'd remembered it meant that this strange little man would start doing this:

Oh I guess I never shared my thoughts on the end of gideon the ninth! It all went so fast at the end there that I was just like. Dang. Well fuck!
I still think Ianthe should have taken Coronabeth because frankly if you’re going to be stuck with a person’s soul in an unholy/holy binding of your essences for the next thousand thousand years why the FUCK would you take BABS.
The final fight with that First lyctor lady was really cool and Palamedes was the coolest bitch in this whole place and Camilla is a feral guard dog (LOVE that). The “He said you’d know what to do,” “I do.” exchange was excellent, loved that for her
I already kind of knew about what it took to become a lyctor and that Ianthe and Harrow would do it, but the ways they did it were both pretty cool. Love the drama for both of them
Also still pretty fucked up that we never actually met Dulcinea?? That was a shock to me, I knew about her cavalier from spoilers but her too??
Can’t forget “I am undone without you” like I’m not really here for romance but I’m also always here for toxic codependency so 👍👍👍 No notes except please fuck let Gideon not be completely gone forever jesus christ. Don’t leave me alone in here with these people. Please come back and talk about titties and your biceps again I’m undone without you

Alecto predictions in no particular order
Kiriona and Ianthe will get married. I would put money on this IT IS MY NUMBER ONE PREDICTION there is just too much shitpost foreshadowing for it not to.
Kiriona will at some point hold the title of Emperor but in fact be a figurehead and Ianthe will be in charge.
Tamsyn’s “some people who deserve to be punished won’t be” refers to Ianthe for sure, 50/50 on God. I think he will be taken out of play permanently but maybe in a way he is actually OK with. Ianthe is going to be just fine.
Tamsyn’s “worst thing Ianthe has ever done” will be one of two things I think: A) something that is reprehensible on a personal scale but actually of critical benefit to humanity at large or B) fucks up the Lyctoral process between Corona and Judith (or I mean possibly both)
Necromancy may or may not exist in general at the end of the series, but Harrow specifically will not be alive and a practicing Necromancer. Her personhood issues are super tied up in having been created for necromantic power, so if she’s going to have a chance to really live, it will have to learn to define herself outside of that.
If Gideon gets good end she will have a third name that she decides for herself. (Tamsyn’s “Harrow and Gideon are never ever ever getting back together”)
If Harrow and Gideon end up together as perfect lyctors and are mutually happy about this I will EAT MY HAT. The popular fandom trajectory of “they are immortal and in love” is simply too good to be true. I hope they get Good OTP End in some other form but no idea if they will or not.
Pyrrha knows something very important that is being held back from the audience at this point [FREE SPACE lmao]
Paul probably knows this thing
It probably has something to do with how the resurrection beast could kill G1deon and leave her alive
Pyrrha deserves to die (affectionate). Which is to say, she will bite it but be glad to do so due to being extraordinarily fucking tired.
SIX!! DOG!!! ENDING!!!! (No :()
Mustache Ride Shirt appearance obviously
The real Dulcinea will be back
The real Babs will be back
Ortus will almost certainly NOT be back but I want him to :(
More than one First House character we believe to have died pre-series will be still kicking around (in addition to Cassiopeia)
Hot Sauce forgiving Nona will be critically important
I NEED SEVEN MORE FOR A BINGO CARD SO I GUESS WELL SEE

(this marks the end of using days 1-6 of Whumptober to write a very rough TLT 5+1 draft - thanks for following along! guesses about the overarching theme are welcome, too. it'll be probably less consistent posting &/or a multifandom grab bag from here on out) +1/5+1
An object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force, Camilla thought to herself, echoing some long-forgotten Scholar, and then, more fancifully, and balance is in short supply. She had been off-balance since the moment they received the ostentatious paper invitation from the First, though, and persevered nonetheless. That she should be so derailed now felt frankly ridiculous.
But here she was, all the same, lying on the threadbare couch of the strange apartment she’d newly moved into with unlikely companions for ease of access to formerly-enemy collaborators on a foreign planet, unable to lift her head.
Her body, it seemed, wanted to retread old ground, as if the act of doing so would offer recompense for indelible wounds or could shield her from the same in the future. Lies, and not even ones that offered any great solace, but ones difficult to override. There was ersatz-Dulcinea, fluttering her eyelashes at the Ninth cavalier as the Warden turned to hide a wince. Abigail Pent’s still form. The half-inch her right foot slid in the wrong direction as Cytherea’s construct bore down on her. There was every opportunity Camilla had to press a little further, dig that much deeper, work harder.
She was peering down this mental wormhole so intently that she didn’t hear one of the unlikely companions come in.
“Hect,” said Pyrrha. “I haven’t seen you leave that spot in an hour. What gives?”
“Irrationality,” Camilla said dryly.
“Say more,” was the reply. Camilla looked up. The red-capped head above her seemed politely curious, even in the face of her deadpan response.
She paused, rolling the thought around in her head, and then blurted, “It’s been a year since we – were…found at Canaan House.”
“I get it,” Pyrrha replied, and Camilla found that sentiment more believable than she expected. “I really do. It should have been me, too. Catch.”
Camilla automatically raised her hands to intercept the object flying toward her face, reflexes superseding thought, and found herself examining the antique object before she’d fully registered it should have been me, too. The other woman continued:
“Listen. You’ve been running on fumes. Now that you two have moved your House, set them up with BoE, used up possibly all the flimsy and paper I’ve seen you touch, you need to regroup. We have a strange kiddie to figure out and this cell to work from, and I’m here in it. You don’t need to do things the hard way all the time. We’ll never get through this in one piece otherwise. Okay?”
Without waiting for a response to this impromptu monologue, she turned and left as unceremoniously as she’d come.
We, Pyrrha’d said. Camilla wondered at the static tingle of strange warmth, discomfiting in its unfamiliarity, and thought that there might be a singular disorientation to being understood by someone similar to you. She thought of Pyrrha’s unerring support in the whirlwind of days that followed the disastrous Cohort encounter: her knowledge of inter-system communication arrays, her facilitation of contact with the Sixth, her stoicism in the face of Blood of Eden’s persistent, smouldering hostility.  A commander, a dogged survivor – and a cavalier through and through.
She stared at the recorder in her hand.
For the better part of a year, she’d been fueled by more belief than reason, driven Now that their plans were starting to gain momentum, now that the veil separating her and the Warden was – not surmountable, still, maybe not even strictly bearable, but perhaps more manageable – perhaps she didn’t need to keep reexamining her mistakes, taking them out of their specimen drawer and turning them over and over again. Perhaps this was the beginning of a return to form.
Cam raised the box to her lips, and pressed the red button at the end. “Warden?”
Perhaps she could start to believe that they were on the right track.
