I realized something awhile ago.

Out of all the kids in Lunella's class, Eduardo has the least looking formal attire. Which is basically a dress shirt with a loosened tie and black pants.

We see him with a noticeable different formal outfit in Skip this Ad...olescence though.

Something I noticed about one of the earlier episodes (2/2)

When Lunella finished her "world saving" science fair project...

Eduardo came in through her window!

Why doesn't he just knock at her family's door and come in that way?

Has he not met the other Lafayettes?

How did he know where she lived?

If he visited and met her family before (since he knew where she lived), wouldn't it have made more sence if he greeted her family before going to her room THROUGH THE DOOR?

I was always confused about how he knew where she lived, I chalked it up to plot convenience! But you're right it is weird. I would love to hear theories!

(Also sorry for the late answers, it's been a hectic weekend.)

I just wanted to get on here and admire Eduardo, for possibly being one of the most mature middle schoolers about "dating" I've seen for a while on disney channel, specifically with S2E13.

It's always the classic episode with two dates, or that they get caught up in some scheme or lie about the dates in general, or even break up with the girl they were gonna go with instead of being honest.

Eduardo had the maturity to tell Lunella honestly and immediately, no matter how obviously DEEPLY wanted to go with her, and I love him for that.

(Also that ending about the clone blob? Very middle school boy energy. Good job writers.)

I am PUMPED for season two, and I created a fanfic that's been in my mind rotting for a bit too long.

Description:

Six years ago, Val was born. His niece. And Eduardo had taken on the role of nanny without supervision three years later at the ripe age of Ten, with no questions asked. He’d been there for every moment his mom and sister couldn’t.

But since a battle by Moon Girl tore apart his family’s apartment, Eduardo had started to notice, something was… Off about Val. She wasn’t herself, and she kept waking up screaming, panicked, one time she wouldn’t talk for hours.

And then that night, the night where the world fell apart and seemingly magically got put back together again? Val went missing. And Eduardo knows there’s only one person who can help him:

Moon Girl.

But what if she won’t?

Note: There's Ednella, BUT it's mainly focused on plot, not romance. (Sidenote, Do we have a better ship name yet?)

Lunella, to Val: Hi there, I'm Lunella!

Val, internally: Don't call her Auntie Lu, don't call her Auntie Lu, don't call her Auntie Lu!

Aw, that's really adorable! Val can be a bit impulsive sometimes, (Six year olds tend to be,) so I can totally see her dealing with accidentally calling Lunella a nickname. You guys all already saw her continue to call Eduardo "Uncle Eddie."

That's a habit she developed from Eduardo's sister and her mother, Sofia Dali. Sofia used to call Eduardo Eddie in order to tease him, and Val picked up the habit since it was easier to say for a toddler.

Val is still a kid, and she slips up. But she knows Eduardo will always protect her. At least, she still knows that now.

Broke: Lunella and Eduardo have the Nerd & Jock Couple dynamic.

Woke: Lunella and Eduardo have the Nerdy Skater Girl & Musical Jock Couple dynamic!

I love this so much! I think there are two main reasons why their ship works: One, complimenting triats and flaws, and two, Irony.

Lunella likes being seen as smart, and capable, and so does Eduardo. The difference is that Lunella is actually seen that way, and assumes because she seemingly chooses how to be precieved through hard work and talent, she thinks everyone must, including Eduardo. She doesn't think about how he might be smart and capable as well, because to her, he chose to be seen as the class clown.

And Eduardo?

He sees Lunella being praised, and he thinks, "Wow. She IS smart and capable, so she gets what it's like to struggle to be seen that way. She just knows how."

Eduardo explains in episode six how he thinks highly of and possibly idolizes Lunella as someone who manages to see differently than other students, and also thinks she's the only one who takes him seriously.

Lunella is a logical thinker, she's gotten by on Science and cold facts. Her main creativity is with science and calculations, she's able to have clear set rules.

Eduardo, is a creative thinker. He focuses highly on adaptable and creative ways on how to get around tough situations, self inflicted or not, as we see him do in episode six with the last minute fair, even saying the line, "I am the KING of last minute projects!" Showing he stalls and fixes his issues at least semi regularly. He forgives Lunella almost immediately once she admits she's wrong, because he's able to tell she means it, probably because she doesn't seem to say it to him that often.

I could go on about this for a

VERY

long time. Especially how I think Eduardo most certainly has at least some major traits of ADHD.

Eduardo having more respect for Lunella than Moon Girl makes perfect sense considering he had NO problems shooting the heroine with the Glitter Slingshot at Casey's Bat Mitzvah.

Personality: Kind, and outspoken with people she trusts. She's been begging for a never gonna happen kitten since four.

Hobbie: Watching Horror movies Eduardo isn't supposed to show her.

Fun Fact: She's scary smart, like, almost the level Lunella was at her age.

Oh God, you're not wrong. I can picture it now:

Eduardo tries to get Lunella to admit it to him on her own, by being super nice and trying to get close to her, and Lunella thinks he's just being super weird and maybe bullying her.

So, he finally tells her after Casey and Lunella corner him to get him to stop, and Lunella just looks back to Casey, mouth open, and Casey is just like: "Lunella, it was obvious from the start. I just thought he was blackmailing you."

This is a really fun scenario, thank you for the ask!
