Heya!! Lol sorry for the very late response, I always wanted to respond but was never sure when. But since I'm trying to do Tales-of-Sunday now, why not!

Let's see... If Zestiria got a remake? While I don't think that'll ever happen (because they would need to make an actual remake for games like Symphonia and Abyss first for that to happen) I would like to see changes for sure.

Story-wise, I would want more interactions with Heldalf. I hate the whole introspection into Heldalf's character via the iris gems because it feels so lazy. The artwork is great! But the concept and execution of it is so, so confusing and uninteresting and the fact that the characters have to spell it out for you anyway is annoying. I especially like how in the manga they insinuate that Heldalf is Sorey's biological father, and I feel like if they incorporated that more into the story for the game, it would actually create an even better connection for Sorey to want to do something about him. Personal connection!

Another story thing I find disappointing is that Mikleo isn't used as much as the story likes to suggest. They have the two major situations, like Sorey not wanting to make Mikleo a sub lord, and Mikleo watching Sorey's health when Alisha is involved-- that's solid stuff! Learning about Camlann is also good. But there's a line said in the game that I think EVERY Sormik shipper remembers and hates that it was never used for more than fluff, something along the lines of "water is the easiest to corrupt" or something? Like WHAT you're telling me they didn't do anything with that with MIKLEO? Bro.

Anyway, in terms of actual game elements, obviously the battle camera could use work; the field maps literally do not ~need~ to be as big as they are; and I think the puzzles could be a lot more interesting instead of "press this specific button in these specific areas." Although, I do prefer the puzzles in Zestiria compared to Berseria. But that's a different topic!

Sorry for the long post, but I'm very passionate about Zestiria! I understand where a lot of criticisms come from, but I for sure don't think it's the worst game in history, y'know? It has an amazing and endearing concept -- Berseria came from expanding on it! It just struggles with actually executing it.

Yesterday's poll decided that The Adventurer should purchase some new shoes for himself while he's in the city...

It costs quite a bit of coin, but in the end he decides that having a new sturdy pair of boots will serve him well on his travels. After he's done in the shop, he rushes back to the local inn before nightfall, eventually settling into a somewhat restless sleep..

The next morning, he orders some cheap vegetable stew from a food stall, then lounges in a park as he has his breakfast, watching the squirrels weave through flowering trees and birds pecking about in the dewy grass.. When finished with his meal (and sufficiently recovered from the emotional turmoil of burning his tongue on the soup), he quickly sells his old pair of shoes to a sketchy pawn shop before finally getting back to his journey...

By his calculations, if he he walks all day, it should only be two more sleeps before he gets to his destination, so he sets out to travel as efficiently as possible. He doesn't have the money to rent a cart, or the skill to ride a borrowed horse, but, he does have some fancy new walking shoes and a renewed sense of purpose. No more meandering through fields looking for flowers, napping in the shade, or scanning the ground for cool rocks.. He's going to focus this time!

......After a few hours, he comes across a broken down carriage in the middle of the road, with few people surrounding it, seemingly stuck trying to repair a wheel or something. It's hard to discern from afar..

Maybe if he helps them, he could get a free ride.. or some coins.. or make a new lifelong friend! Who knows? Possibilities flood his mind, this is what adventuring is all about! Wandering into interesting situations and making the most out of them!! .. But, then he recalls his previous oath.. he's supposed to focus today and not allow himself to sidetracked.. And who says he has the skills to help anyway? It could always just be a waste of time... Hmm...

Because it does still take time. like maybe 2 hours to put a post together. even if the art and writing is relatively rushed and #quick. Especially since polls are not editable once posted so half the time is just proofreading the post and tags 15 times #just to make super sure there's no errors or etc. lol.. But trying to clear two hours of time during an already hectic day for something #that generally speaking very few people are engaged with or care about at all when it's meant to be interactive (like with normal art #or costumes or other stuff I do - low interaction doesnt bother me since that's not the point/it's not as relevant. but with an actual poll #you do want like.. the most poeple possible to vote on it etc. lol) so it's like.. ehhh #I was originally thinking like 'oh i could do this for an entire year and tell like a whole story and it'd be cool to see where it ends #up eventually after so long and the community kind of choosing the direction of everything!' but now its like 'well people care significant #ly less about the following polls than they did the first one so maybe not As Big Of A Thing but I do at least want to finish the current #thing going on' etc. I mean if in the next few posts it becomes More Of A Thing then it's very fluid. OC: Chrysoprase! She's a little sweetie around people she likes! Once she gets over her shyness she lets her curiosity come thru and asks a lot of questions. She'll also blab on about whatever, what happened in school, what her twin did, what shes thnking abt, etc.

OC: Olivia! She doesn't mind them but they do make her incredibly anxious. It's because kids are really good at insulting people and she is insecure lol. She is afraid of getting her shit rocked (mentally). And also she doesn't do well taking care of things.

OC: Lukas! He's comfortable w/less clothing since he runs hot!

OC: General Phil! He's more likely to admire wisdom. The opposite of his wife! He's much more of a sensitive guy, but values the practicality that wisdom brings.

SO unintuitive. #good news though: you can also use it in place of masking fluid. so i think itll be cheaper to buy some in the longrun instead of getting #more masking fluid. because that shit is expensiveeeee #anis gaymer moments
