I'm aro ace and autistic and I would experience the traditional butterflies in stomach nervousness, talking about them a lot etc around someone who I just view as an acquaintance and dont really have feelings for. My friends tease me sometimes as if I was attracted to that person. I actually have a squish on one of my friends that is a diffrent person than the one i mentioned earlier but I don't show it in public because the two of us are already close. But when im at home the thought of them makes me so happy and i have been dreaming of them a lot recently I want to tell them that I am attracted to them in a queen platonic way but I fear that they may think that I am a back up crush, and our friendship may be compromised, especially since I just got permission to say "I love you" to them in a platonic way before I figured out those feelings.
