a bit about myself: she/her. I'm currently in my late 20's and have been writing/roleplaying in some shape or form for 12+ years. i'm in grad school (and will be for awhile) and work full time in mental healthcare. occasionally, days are wild.

when it comes to writing, i generally write somewhere between 500-1k words a post. the shorter the post, the faster i can write. i definitely value someone who's writing fits with mine over length or anything like that. i'm also super flexible when it comes to post rate. if it takes a little bit, that's totally fine! especially if we do build a rapport. i want this to stay as something that's fun for both of us. it's a hobby, so it comes after everything else.

doubling. i play a canon for you, you play one for me, and i love every character as my own. OR we both play two ocs who fall in love against their will. Idc.

m!canon x f!oc preferred (or m!oc x f!oc). I know who I am. I have no shame. I’m so super cautious about m// and f// after years of running into folks treating it as a fetish.

This was insane. Probably the craziest thing Mia has ever done. But she couldn’t shake this feeling she had. The dreams were getting worse and now it was like something was pulling her back. She had to go. Her note explained it as best as she could.

This is last notice, I know. But if I told you any sooner or in person, you would have tried to stop me. I need to do this. Maybe it can bring me closure or something. None of it was right. The way it all ended. Something was missing. Something still is. I’m going out there. Into those woods. Back to that cabin, or what’s left of it. Who knows, maybe nothing will happen and I can just come home and move on with my life. If you don’t hear from me in a few days then well...I’m sorry. I’ll try to call soon.

The car bulled up next to the tail that led to the cabin. “I can handle it from here.” Mia smiled at the driver and hopped out, securing her backpack on her shoulders. The man in the drivers seat was middle aged and had a kind face. “Are you sure you want to go out alone? I don’t feel right letting you wander into those woods. They have a bad history. A lot of people have gone in and haven’t came back out. Campers and hunters don’t even go near this area.” Mia looked out at the trees, hardening her resolve. “I’ll be fine. Besides my family has a cabin not too far from here.” She did her best to give him a reasurring smile. “Be that as it may...” The man pulled out a piece of paper and wrote his number on it before handing it to her. “In case you need a ride again or just anything at all.” He smiled before driving away.

Mia watched the car disappear before turning to face the forest before her. When she was a kid, these woods were a home away from home. It was like an alien planet to her now. It’s not as bright and colorful as it use to be. She couldn’t even hear any animals or any other signs of life. She started walking forward, stepping over roots and trying to stay on the tail before her. She was grateful with her decision to wear jeans unlike her usual dress and boot combo. Mia. She slowed to a stop, looking around warily. It was hard to tell if the voice was out in the trees or just in her head. Shoving her hands in the pocket of her jacket, Mia started to walk again. Miiiiiia. She turned quickly and gasped out. She put a hand to her chest and stared at her follower. It was obvious the voice wasn’t coming from them so she was still on edge. “You scared me. Why didn’t you speak out to let me know you were there?”
