"According to the study, average arsenic and cadmium concentrations were nearly twice as high in imported rice compared to Haitian-grown product, with some imported samples exceeding international limits."
"Nearly all imported rice samples exceeded the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's recommendation for children's consumption. The study did not evaluate levels of toxins in other importing countries."
"The study, which attributed the dominance of imported rice to lower import tariffs and long-term contracts signed during political turmoil in the late 1980s and 1990s, said Haiti imports nearly 90% of its rice, almost exclusively from the U.S."
"Former U.S. President Bill Clinton, who helped push subsidies of U.S. rice to Haiti, later called the move a "mistake" saying it had battered local production capacity."
"The report called for an ethical investigation into U.S. rice exporters, measures to strengthen Haiti's agricultural sector and flagged a "dire need" to boost the country's food safety regulations."
"A violent conflict between heavily armed gangs has been spreading to Haitian farmlands, further pushing up food prices. The United Nations estimates over 300,000 have fled their homes and that some 40% of the population is going hungry."

It's sad how unsafe food labels are when they don't give you full information anymore, especially when allergies are still a concern that exists.
Recently, I had an allergic reaction to a 'fruit medley' flavoured product because I assumed since I was fruit medley that it would not have watermelon in it.
But it did.
And I'm allergic to artificial watermelon.
Now I can't trust any fruit medley product.
And I see plenty of people concerned about food labels with 'seasoning' or 'spices' on it, that don't state the specific indgredient, since they are allergic to a certain seasoning or spice.
It's the FDA's responsibility to take care of food labels for the greater good of our health and lives. So I decided to make a petition to get a point across.
I'm tired of people being hurt because of a huge corporation's lack of care for our wellbeing.

Moms Across America Tested New Children’s Cereal & Found Poisons Like Heavy Metals, Arsenic, Aluminum, Cadmium, 8 Different Pesticides (Some Known To Change Sex Hormones) & More
All this in 1 cereal box
Testing reveals ‘General Mills Trix Loaded Cereal’ is actually “loaded with heavy metals and pesticides” also contains “Artificial dyes, preservatives, chemicals” - We found arsenic and cadmium 200-400% higher than what the EPA allows in drinking water - We found aluminum levels to be 1,365% to 1,650% higher than what the EPA allows in drinking water - We found glyphosate levels 158 to 174 times higher than has been shown in animal studies to cause sex hormone changes and organ damage when animals ate 0.1 parts per billion of glyphosate for 2 years of the glyphosate herbicide, the the formulation. And we also found 8 different pesticides. One of them is an ingredient used in shampoo that kills lice, and the other one is a fungicide known to cause endocrine disruption and hormone disruption in humans and wildlife at very low levels. So, clearly, this is not a great way to start your day with toxic chemicals, and we call on General Mills to get to the source of why their cereal is so contaminated and to do things like test fertilizers because we think that's the source of the heavy metal contamination. This is a very serious issue because heavy metals can cause neurological damage and developmental disorders that can be lifelong. So this is very serious. We are in a national physical and mental health crisis in America, and we need manufacturers like General Mills who have the resources to actually do something about cleaning up their the food supply and the products that they offer.“

did you hear about this lately? https://dhmo.org/facts.html theyre putting a compound related to SULFURIC ACID in almost everything as a preservative. unsurprisingly also in treatments given to trans identified people. the fda is killing with this stuff. THEY USE THIS TO MAKE CHEMICAL WEAPONS.
I didn’t know about this, and I‘m not qualified to speak on it, but I‘m going to leave the link here so everyone can read for themselves if they like to.
It‘s terrifying for sure.

Random Thoughts Running Through My Head:
This is a random post I wrote back 2020. On June 14th,2023 my friend of 50 yrs took her last breath in my arms. It was not a quietly go to sleep passing. Due to a doctor who did not understand ALS it was a struggling to breath moment that should have never happened. When will the FDA stop playing God? People get worked up over their right to bear arms, rights to abort a child, why not your right to take a trial medicine that can possibly save your life?
ALS
So on our last visit to the ALS clinic I handed each discipline the new updated version of supplements my Pals is taking. Including the doctor. Not one added the list to her file on the computer. They all looked at it and layed it back down. Im guessing her file is never put into any kind of research or informative collection.
Yet, from day one she has researched the supplements that may possibly make a difference. A year ago January 2020 her ALS doctor said she had 6 months. Really? Because she is still here! I would think they would be asking us what we are doing to fight this Beast. Because, other than a saliva pill, elasticity pill, and an antidepressant pill, along with the therapy disciplines giving us ideas for exercises, and some equipment ordered. They just say see you in 3 or 4 months. Im wondering why they even test lung functions?? Just so they can deliver negative info.
I know that without the clinic and als organization insurance would not give us a CPAP, Breath Assist, Amazing Wheelchair, Tobi Eye Computer, hospital bed, walkers, bathing equipment, etc. Iam grateful!
Just give us the trial meds would you????? Sitting here waiting to exit this horrific disease while a select few get chosen to trial a pill that just might help ALL is so deeply disheartening!
Then this pandemic comes along and we have to sit back and watch as a miracle vaccine is developed over night. Politicians, big money, and big pharma want to force people to take the vaccines........
I don't think you would have to force one person suffering with ALS to take a trial med!!!!
Im just venting in hopes that some politician, big money, big pharma, big corporation that can make a difference would find my thoughts on here!
No worries! In the end I have my Faith! I know that what we are doing right here, right now is making a difference.
I've made this post available to all. Please Repost, Cut & Paste, whatever it takes to be read! I want it read! I want people to know what ALS is, what it takes away, and what it takes to live this life. I've only met Heroes on this Journey!

On Kratom
Originating from the Mitragyna speciosa tree in Southeast Asia, Kratom has been a staple in herbal medicine since the 19th century, offering opiate-like and stimulant effects. It can be chewed, smoked or consumed as a tea; and it is available in various forms such as dried powdered leaves, enriched extracts, resins, tinctures, capsules and edibles.
With diverse strains like the pain-relieving Red Vein, stimulating White Vein, and balanced Green Vein, kratom holds cultural significance in its regions of origin and sparks contemporary debates on legality and public health. In this article, we delve into gratom's history, uses, strains, and the nuanced discussions surrounding its regulation, unraveling the complex narrative of this botanical substance.
Indigenous to Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea, kratom has been utilized in herbal medicine since the 19th century. Traditionally consumed for pain relief and mild stimulation in Southeast Asia, millions of Americans use kratom, citing its efficacy in alleviating chronic pain and addiction symptoms - a critical tool, amid rising drug overdose deaths.
There are several types of kratom strains, each touted for their efficacy in different areas. Red vein kratom is known for pain relief, sedation, stress relief, and relaxation, this strain offers temporary relief for chronic pain or anxiety. White vein kratom is renowned for its stimulating effects; this strain supports focus, alertness, concentration, and productivity without the jitters commonly associated with stimulant use, often leading to feelings of euphoria. Green vein kratom is the most popular strain; combining stimulation and soothing benefits, offering mental clarity, focus, and calmness for everyday use, ideal for managing daily stress. Gold kratom is a blend of different kratom strains, providing a broad spectrum of positive effects without specifying vein coloration. Most commercially available Gold kratom is a blend of white and green vein kratom. Black Kratom remains a bit of a mystery - subject to varying definitions, it usually refers to red vein kratom that has been fermented multiple times and/or roasted, resulting in a darker color and strong sedative effects reminiscent of a powerful red vein strain.
Amid record opioid-related overdose deaths, kratom has gained attention as an alternative for chronic pain, with millions relying on it. However, federal agencies, particularly the FDA, have attempted to ban kratom, threatening potential consequences such as criminalizing users and hindering research on its effects. Critics argue that the FDA's stance lacks nuance and overstates risks, citing low poison control calls related to kratom compared to common household products. While some deaths have been reported while kratom is present in the system, a clear causal link is absent. Advocates stress the need for regulation to ensure safe production rather than outright prohibition. Research into kratom has been inhibited by the attempts of powerful entities to ban its production and use, but the anecdotal evidence to support its usefulness is overwhelming. In addition, despite some evidence to suggest that kratom use comes with the risk of addiction, any dose under 2 grams is considered a microdose when using kratom, and most commercially produced capsules weigh in at only 750 mg, well below the microdose line.
The FDA's arguments against kratom face scrutiny, with experts highlighting weaknesses in methodologies like the PHASE model. Some speculate that the FDA's resistance to kratom may be influenced by pharmaceutical interests commercializing synthetic versions, as there are many officials involved who would potentially benefit financially from kratom prohibition. Recall that cannabis was legal in the United States prior to 1952, and the motivating factors behind its prohibition were rooted in racism and capitalist interests, not medical or scientific fact.
When purchasing kratom, it is important to visit a retailer who sources their products from safe and reliable manufacturers. It is also beneficial to purchase from a retailer that employs staff who are experienced and knowledgeable about the products they’re selling. Here at beyond smoke, our staff have experience using kratom recreationally or to treat common ailments. For more information on kratom and to learn if kratom is right for you, stop by and visit us.

Dunkin' Donuts DRAGGED, TikTokers EXPOSE What's Hidden in Groceries...
Because the FDA in this nation does not give a damn about the welfare and health of the populace, we should all be aware of this and consider all the poison that people are taking into their bodies. This explains why our population is so ill, suffering from diabetes, anxiety, heart issues, and obesity. It is disgusting to see all this.

Note this is Sudafed PE, the one introduced when the whole "everyone is making meth craze" hit. Sudafed that you get at pharmacy desk is just fine. I tried Sudafed PE (Pieces of Excrement) once. Did zip. Stupid that it took this long for them to say that.
I have non allergic rhinitis from trigeminal neuralgia so sometimes the steroid nasal spray isn't enough. Sudafed, itself, is a life saver.
