I very unfortunately cannot send this from my IT blog, BUT (spoilers for TBTBUT)

In my OT7, I originally did not plan on having Patty in the endgame. However, long discussions with my two beta’s (and my queer ass who just wants to boink everyone and wanted more fem, my bad) eventually led us to include Patty in the end. Which, I now realize you’ve Friday rec’d it before I made that change, when it’s not your preference 😔 so my apologies if it ruined your Friday fic flow.

I do specifically love Patty’s character in the book a lot because of how much they’re written to love each other and how heartbroken I am for her, but it makes sense for people who don’t want Patty in their stories or aus, especially OT7. I never add her to Streddie fics though. Ever. Streddie is my special comfort throuple

Oh please do not apologise!!! I absolutely adore TBTBUT!! And as I told you when I was reviewing that fic, I actually couldn’t imagine another way for that story to end. All throughout the story you’d shown how devoted Stan was to Patty and so it just would have been tragic for anything else to happen. Patty returning with him seemed right and correct. 

Yeah I can totally understand. Personally, I felt nothing for Patty in the book. I was happy that Stan had found happiness but I didn’t particularly care about or like her character. But I’m pretty sure I’m in a minority with that so it makes sense that if people like the Patty character, then its that much easier to imagine her joining the OT7 relationship.
