Plotted starter — @hana-akari
It was the height of Winter. The ground was blanketed with a modest layer of snow; just enough to cover the many leaves and branches littering the forest floor. The air was a crisp coldness and dry enough to burn their sinuses.
Sakura wanted to travel down towards the river bed for something. Sasuke didn't have the opportunity to ask before the spry little girl hopped the chained compound gate and begged him to come with her. The sun had vanished only an hour ago and there was no way any good parent would let their elementary-aged child traverse the woods at this time.
Which left Sasuke, who didn't have any spare parents to heed to.
Hand-in-mitten hand, Sakura was urgent to get towards the river with promise that it would be worthwhile. 'It's very pretty, oh you have to see it!' she kept saying and the likes. Not that Sasuke had any basis to doubt her, other than the obvious where she's bundled to the High Heavens and he with only a simple circle cloak ( Amaterasu blessed him with a fire nature to stay warm )— leaving him to point out if anything goes wrong, she will get sick.
At the edge of the muddy riverbed, where the current died down to an idle trek as much of its waters froze over several nights of subzero temperatures, the Uchiha didn't see anything particularly memorizing about it. Except maybe the frost that accumulated around it like an aura of ice.
He kept turning about himself to find whatever was so great out there only to see a pair of beady eyes staring at him from the shadows of many fallen trees. He waved at it and it crotched away from its peephole. A few more started to appear in the thick darkness around the cluster of trees, blinking and unnervingly still.
"Sakura— There's other people here," he said, loud enough to get her attention," maybe we shouldn't be here."

Strength. Art by Eya Mordyakova, from Phrög Tarot.
Strength stands for our ‘instincts’, for the cooperation of our ‘animal’ and ‘human’ natures. It means passion, sex, all kinds of natural desires — but at the same time, the willpower to resist them, when needed.
The frog on this card represents ‘the natural’, and the maiden — ‘the human’. As you can see, they are in complete sync, and the clever maiden softly guides the frog in desired direction — with the help of a tasty strawberry, which she uses as an encouragement, but also as just a pleasure.

In the latest chapter of SATF can Sasha just control the killmoths hoard by controlling the alpha(domino 2) with her powers.
Thank you for resending this :)
And YES, SHE CAN! But it's not without risks!
See, Sasha's powers don't allow her to control things. That's just how it looks to an outside observer. What she actually does is ✨Empathy✨. She and the object/being in question essentially share their viewpoints. In the end, what happens is that they both come to an agreement, in the spiritual non-physical sense. This allows her to "control" them but at the same time, she "empathizes" with them. The risk from that is that there's a chance for them to "control" her too.
This is where the Strength Of Will comes in. If she's stronger than her opponent (in a "willpower" sorta way), then her viewpoint, her will overpowers theirs. So the opponent absorbs her perspective and follows her. Thankfully, Sasha is crazy strong. Inanimate objects are easy enough; they're not alive. But when it comes to living beings, that becomes a lot harder.
The good news about this empathy power is that it's not always opposing. If Sasha and someone else shares a similar idea/viewpoint, then it only amplifies what's already there. This can be seen in a few scenes, most notably the preparations for the "Frog of the Year" party and the "Peter Anne" play. Using her powers (unconsciously), she was able to put on the perfect party or play, and everyone helped without any confusion.
Seriously, go reread those chapters. It's there :p
However, this is a two-way street. Just as she can overpower other people, other people can do the same to her. You won't see that this early though but I've got plans for it and without spoiling much, it'll involve our favourite immortal eldritch hivemind :)

How do you think Anne's sacrifice in the Hardest Thing fits in with her arc of learning self-love throughout the show?
i think. its as she said. how it was her turn to ask sasha and marcy to follow her lead. how ultimately, this was her decision, and she was willing to pay her life for this place and the people she loves

Here's one of those characters I successfully revived but never had an opportunity to show you in the first place: Froc. He's a giant, anthropomorphic goliath bullfrog with an easygoing, comedic and laidback personality who wishes to be the hungriest crocodile of them all. Loves warm hugs, eating everything in sight, dresses up like a king, rams through impossibly strong walls and destructable objects like a speeding truck, lifting heavy objects, swimming through rivers, lakes and oceans to detect intruders and even walk on all fours like an actual crocodile. But the one thing he despises a lot is getting kissed. Don't mess with Froc, or you'll end up being devoured!
