@taruuu this is diluc with furina, tbh he would do more damage if I had just used a anemo character to swirl pyro but it's fine. The highest I've gotten him to do was 223k with melt+ food, but that was a few months ago and his build is better now so I need to do a new one. He hits 100k casually in the abyss I love him (also ignore the fact that this is screen recorded Google drive doesn't like me sometimes)
🌊 I gotta be honest with you, the first time I heard that Furina was gonna have a kit that specialize in draining the entire team's hp, I was a little worried that she'd be difficult to play. In my defense, I don't like characters with hp-draining kit. I've had Hu Tao for the longest time I know, and I've never used her even once. Not for clearing domains, leylines, not even the spiral abyss. I just don't like seeing my character's hp go red, it makes me feel anxious.
🌊 But she was rumored to be a buffer made in heaven for Neuvillette just like Nahida for Alhaitham, so of course I had to get her! I'd do anything to support my man Neuvillette xD
🌊 Disclaimer: This build is not perfect and by no means should be treated as a rigid rule. I just share what I have tested in game and what I know works for me. So always do your own research and take my guide with that note in mind!
Artifact Set
🌊 Furina's BiS would be the Golden Troupe, the new artifact from Fontaine that's not so new anymore now. Despite having a buffer kit, she actually works well as a sub-dps through her skill. She summons 3 salon members that will deal hydro damage to enemies with different time interval. I didn't even expect her skill to deal good damage but it does.
🌊 Aside from Golden Troupe, she can use any combination of hp% set with 2 pc hydro damage or ER. She will need a good amount of ER cuz you want her to burst every rotation. That's where her buff is.
4 pc Golden Troupe
2 pc Golden Troupe, 2 pc hydro damage (HoD/Nymph's Dream)
2 pc Golden Troupe , 2 pc hp% (Tenacity/Vourukasha)
2 pc hydro damage (HoD/Nymph's Dream), 2 pc hp% (Tenacity/Vourukasha)
🌊 Do note that her ER requirement will get lower if you run her in a double hydro team. It can get even lower if the other hydro brings ER weapon such as Favonius. She can also use either hp% or hydro damage goblet, the difference is very small, and just use whichever has the better subtats.
Artifacts stats: hp% sands or ER sands, hp% or hydro damage bonus goblet, crit damage circlet
Ratio to follow: >50% crit rate, >125% crit damage, 150-180% ER, 30.000-40.000 hp (her buff is capped at 40k hp, so make sure not to go overboard)
Team Composition
🌊 Furina can go in so many team comps. Her kit enables any character to be able to use the Fontaine artifacts as she can drain the entire team's hp (which is the requirement to activate 4 pc set Marechaussee Hunter). That being said, it's important to bring a massive healer who can heal the team instantly to maintain her Fanfare stack.
🌊 This stack is important to determine how much buff she can give. The stack can be triggered everytime your team member's hp goes up and down. That's why it's necessary to have a healer ready, unless she's playing with Fontainean character cuz they can easily heal themselves, or if your Furina is C1 as it instantly gives 150 points of Fanfare stack everytime she bursts.
Weapon Choice
🌊 Her signature weapon is actually good if you wanna increase your Furina's personal damage. But it doesn't do a lot for the team, so since this post is about Furina as a buffer, I wouldn't even put her signature weapon here.
Festering Desire (event exclusive weapon)
Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (adds bonus crit rate for skill,
🌊 Like any other support, she has to be able to burst every rotation. Making sure that the buff keeps going will push the team's damage. 60 energy cost is not a lot, but since Furina herself doesn't produce energy particle on her own, she's gonna have to have a little kick in her ER stats. So any kind of ER weapon will do.
Talent Priority
🌊 Obviously go first for her burst, followed by her skill. Ignore her normal attack unless your Furina is C6.
So that’s pretty much my Furina build. Feel free to ask me questions if you have any through my ask box or just leave comment on this post and I’ll respond right away!
I've been doing the blizzard strayer domain for Ayaka for like a month, and I only have a decent feather and good flower. My only other pieces with good stats for her are noblesse. So I'm stuck running a 2 piece blizzard and 2 piece noblesse Ayaka. But the stats are built for 4 piece blizzard, as she has 31% crit rate over 238% crit dmg. So her build is a bit odd but it also kinda works. Until I finally get 4 piece blizzard strayer for her. And yes, strongbox has been failing me too.
My poorly build Childe did 50k damage? He never did that before, not even food got him that high but now he did? I'm so glad I decided to start recording my fights just to captures those moments.
This is his build. I've been too lazy to grind 5star HoD or a set of nymphs dream.
okay mutuals who know how to build teams on genshin, since the desert pavillion set gives a 15% anemo dmg bonus ON 2piece and increases charged, normal, and plunge attacks by 40% on 4piece, WOULD THIS MEAN that i can build all the anemo characters as a dps using the set?
Built him to be a support/sub dps, so pretty straight forward with 4 Viridescent set and The Stringless. Technically I got Skyward Harp so that would be his best weapon, but since I normally use him for support he never uses that.
Pretty happy with this build and only thing that will change is the cons which I'll get over time.
Xingqiu has the ability to heal after both his elemental skill and burst end. Casting them and allowing them to end regenerates HP for any character currently on field when his rain sword's duration ends.
Weapon
The best five star option is Skyward Blade for it's ER stat, but there are 4 star alternatives.
You can't go wrong with Sacrificial Sword on Xingqiu, but if you don't hsve either, some good substitutes are Festering Desire and Favonius Sword.
I reccomend Sacrificial over Skyward, Skyward is just there if you're wanting to flex.
Artifacts
For late game (AR 30+) artifacts, I reccomend two piece Maiden Beloved and two piece Tenacity of the Millelith, or you can substitute Tenacity for Ocean Hued Clam.
This gives him extra healing ability and more HP, which his healing scales off of.
For main stats try an HP% sands, energy recharge or Hydro DMG goblet, and healing bonus hat.
In the substat area I'd say just go for as much HP and HP% as possible, as well as ER and EM if you're still wanting him to do decent DMG.
For early game, go 2pc Travelling Doctor and 2pc Adventurer, with the same stats stated above.
Strategy
Do NOT cast his skill/burst only when a character is on low HP. I reccomend casting them as much as possible in case your party gets cast a heavy blow while the cooldown is still going. This is because his cooldown is extremely lengthy and you have a higher chance for your character to die while the CD is still ticking.
In co-op, dont choose him as a team healer. This is because yes, he can heal YOUR character(s), but he cannot heal anyone elses.
Talents
Skill > Burst > Normal
His skill is likely what you're going to rely on for healing, especially if youre running him with Sacrificial Sword. Then, his burst also heals and will likely be charged frequently depending on your ER, and his normal attack doesnt really do anything for his heals.
Constellation
His C1 is important to have, as it adds an extra rain sword to his skill. More rain swords = more heals. C5 is nice too, but it isn't as important.
