Being from a family of students and professionals, every Dasara the celebrations include the Aayudha Pooja as well as the Saraswati Pooja. Saraswati yantra is drawn as a pattern symbolic of Saraswati on a plain paper. Our study books, diaries, computer/laptop, and the pen are placed for the Pooja. Customary Haldi and kumkum (yellow turmeric and its vermillion red concentrated derivative) are applied to the symbol and offer fresh flowers and akshata (a few grains of rice). She literally speaks every women's mind, from freedom to periods to mairrage to getting a child. The best part was when she asked Brahma " Why is everyone so anxious that a woman should have a baby? Is that how you made woman by giving her a baby-bearing woman? The book literally shows that even goddesses are not exempt from stupid expectations, where marriage is compulsion and not choice, like you can't survive without a man, where if you are not ready to bear a child then you are told how heartless and useless you are, because that's the only reason why you were born, where if you don't fulfill someone's petty ego then that petty human curse you because again you are a woman(curse to bleed), and the worst part is a women is your biggest enemy, because she expects you to do things that she did and that is termed as normal in the so called society, so gracious.
