One very easy thing you can do to make Tumblr a safer place for Jews is to NOT REBLOG ANYTHING FROM NATIVENEWS EVER. In addition to sharing virulent antisemitism and "news" that amounts to nothing more than screenshots of factually inaccurate tweets with no source whatsoever, they recently SHARED A HAMAS CALL TO ACTION. They are quite literally promoting terrorism. (Yes, I reported it, but knowing Tumblr, it probably won't go anywhere.)
I don't care if the post you're sharing from them has nothing to do with Israel/Palestine or if it contains information that is correct and important to share. This is a blog that is encouraging terrorism and genocide against my people. Do not give them any platform. Do not put this terrorist blog on my dash.

Taking advantage of the trending “Judaism” tag to remind everyone:
THE HOLOCAUST WAS REAL
THE HOLOCAUST WAS RECENT
ANTISEMITISM IS STILL VERY PRESENT
ANTISEMITISM SPIKES EVERY YEAR ON CHANUKAH
ANTISEMITISM IS ON THE RISE RIGHT NOW BEFORE CHANUKAH
IF YOU SEE ANTISEMITISM AND YOU DO NOT SPEAK UP AGAINST IT, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. THAT IS HOW THE HOLOCAUST HAPPENED, AND WE ARE WELL ON OUR WAY BACK DOWN THAT PATH RIGHT NOW.
CHANUKAH IS COMING UP VERY QUICKLY. IF YOU LIVE IN OR NEAR A JEWISH COMMUNITY, PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT, AND PLEASE KEEP EVERYONE SAFE. IF YOU KNOW OR ARE A JEW IN A PREDOMINANTLY NON-JEWISH AREA, TRIPLE THAT CAUTION.
And to all my fellow Jews, never back down, and please, please, please stay safe.

Just a reminder: calling Jews "pigs" is "an allusion to the fundamentalist antisemitic slur that Jews are descendants of apes or pigs."
Prefacing it with "zionist," as in, "Fuck you, zionist pig," does not give you plausible deniability.
Real-life examples of its usage, from the Telegram account for Hamas & its associated groups:
October 6, 2023, 1¼ hours before Hamas officially began its Al-Aqsa Flood massacre: (warning, that link shares extremely graphic details)

I updated my Kyle masterpost with several links, including two new articles, a Wikipedia page, and a Tumblr with tips for writing Jewish characters. I also organized it and made navigation much easier.
I update this post periodically, so if you think you've read or reblogged it enough, you probably haven't.

yall goyim need to understand that antisemitism isnt just people being mean online and Ms. JK transphobia rowling having antisemitic tropes in her books. This is shit that happens online of course, just like any other form of bigotry, but it also happens to us in real life. antisemitic incidents can include, but arent limited to:
Defacing jewish symbols
Grafitti of antisemitic symbols
Insults appearances
Using antisemitic slurs
Stalking
Workplace discrimination
Housing discrimination
Education discrimination
Discrimination in mental health spaces
Discrimination in physical health spaces
General attacks on synagogues, chabad centers, and other jewish gatherings
Increased attacks on jewish gatherings during the high holidays
Bomb threats
Shooting threats (this may be a USA specific one if it is please let me know)
Sexual harassment
Sexual assault
Rape
Stabbings
Beatings
Bullying (physical, emotional, sexual)
Abuse (physical, emotional, sexual)
Being called pedophiles, rapists, baby killers, nazis, etc. (simply for being jewish not because we have shown any signs we are those things)
Insults based on various antisemitic tropes (blood libel, dual loyalty, Jews controlling the world, etc.)
doxxing
threatening family members and friends
property damage
a lot of other physical violence I didn't mention
targeting of jewish community leaders (esp rabbis)
isolation from the goyische world
chased out of our homes
forcing jews to assimilate
murder
desecrating jewish graves
mocking jews who have died
refusing to believe jewish victims of sexual assault
kidnapping
and probably more that i forgot! if you have anything to add and you're jewish pls do so
these are not rare occurences at all. I have had well over half of these happen to me personally or to a jew that i am very very close to, and I at least distantly know another jew who has experienced one of the others. This is a fucking terrifying thing to deal with and yall don't need to get it but you need to try to understand how bad it can get for us

everyone stop telling people to look at the ADL website for antisemitic dogwhistles or for anything really, they are openly zionist & consider antizionism to be antisemitic. it says right out in the open they consider "delegitimization or demonization of israel and zionism" antisemitic.
frankly the goyim in the crowd need to stop just looking at checklists of dogwhistles anyways because that isn't enough, and antisemitic dogwhistles are constantly changing and being invented anyways. there are certainly frequent fliers that are an immediate tell like the (((echoes))), but it's meant to be a secret code with plausible deniability to cover themselves and spread their antisemitism amongst the less bigoted goyische population. honestly y'all need to just learn more about antisemitism as a form of bigotry and actually internalize what jews are trying to tell you. look deeper and think more critically about what is being said to you, always, even if it's "just a meme," "just a game," or otherwise seemingly innocuous to you.

🍯Happy Rosh Hashanah!🍎
This post is for Jewish youth, especially the ones who currently have to grow up in a heavily Christian/Catholic Centered Community that doesn't take them seriously (As I did, in my childhood)
This is a reminder;
Your religion is NOT "less meaningful" even if your goyim peers act like it is
You are NOT "less Jewish" if you cannot afford to have a Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Being Jewish does NOT mean you can't be a part of the LGBTQIA+ Community
You are NOT "less Jewish" if you don't go to temple
You AREN'T annoying for trying to explain your traditions to your friends or your class so that you may be better understood
Your holidays are NOT less important compared to Christian/Catholic Holidays
You don't need to be embarrassed. You don't need to feel like you can't talk about your religion.
You don't deserve to be shamed, ridiculed, or harassed.
You cannot command belief. Belief is a feeling that either does or does not exist. But if it does not exist within a person’s conscious mind, commanding him to believe will not make it any easier for him to have such feelings. If he feels belief, he will, and if he does not feel it, then there is no way he can push a button and suddenly start to believe.
You are beautiful, you are seen, and you are valid

execute order 88
okay, so i was going to block you and let you stew in your misery, but then i realised that you might be referring to the impending animation of chapter 88 of bsd. i'm not sure but giving you the benefit of the doubt and taking this as an opportunity as well
so a general psa to the bsd fandom: if you're gonna refer to chapter 88 out of obvious context clues, please specify it's chapter 88. like ch88, bsd88, i don't really care
88 is a well known antisemitic dog whistle (8 = 8th letter of the alphabet, h, 88 = hh, heil hitler)
so this message could either mean "we're seeing chapter 88 in a week!" or it's a death threat

Note: though this rabbi makes some good points, he specifically did not want his article circulated, presumably out of respect for the long-established rabbinic position of female BC only. Just something to think about, especially for all my ladies out there who can't use hormones...
Excerpt:
Bochko stressed that a rabbi is not a psychologist and sometimes personal, intimate stories are things that “aren’t nice to hear.” We need to bring people who ask questions like the aforementioned couple “autonomy for their lives,” to tell them that there is a great commandment to be fruitful and multiply, and only in unusual cases is there a permit to use birth control. And then after showing the halachic picture: that it’s preferable to take hormones and use an IUD, and a third preference that is possible is birth control for men. It is on the couple to take on the permission for birth control and to decide on how to use that permission.

I'm gonna be honest here: one of the more exhausting parts of the online discourse is how much of a tightrope I am always on, that those of us who care about human rights for all human beings are always on, because any statement made in favor of the "other" side is ripe for tokenism.
I, as a Jew, care about the safety and human rights of Palestinians and Arab Israelis. You will never convince me that there is an ethical way to kill civilians, especially children. You will never convince me that police brutality against citizens marching for their civil rights is necessary. You just can't. And yet I have to be so careful when/where I say that and how I say that, because too often this simple acknowledgement that all people are created in the image of Hashem and should be treated accordingly is ripped out of context and placed between a deluge of other posts denying my people that very same acknowledgement. The number of times I have said these things, only to go into the reblogs and see my words surrounded on all sides with violent antisemitism? I've lost count.
And guess what? It's made me less effective as an advocate, it has actively silenced me from speaking up sometimes, because I refuse to be your "good Jew," your token, somebody whose words can be misconstrued to kasher your vile hatred of my people. And to be very clear: Jewish Israelis are my people just as much as fellow diaspora yidden are, and they deserve better from both goyim and diaspora Jews alike.
And I've seen this go the other way, too: I've seen Palestinian activists and journalists who are trying very hard to balance the values of respecting other people (including Israelis and/or Jews writ large) as fellow human beings with the pain that their people are currently suffering. And I've seen their words ripped out of context and used to excuse more violence against them and their people.
And then there are lots of other people - genuinely well-intentioned people who are trying to learn from me - who keep treating me like I'm some paragon of nuance. I'm trying, truly, but I'm Just Some Guy. You know what I do? It's extremely simple and I promise you can do it too, any of you, if you slow down long enough to think before putting anything out there: "Would I say this about my brother? My mom? My daughter? My people? Would I be happy if the person I loved most on this earth was living under these circumstances and being talked about in whatever way I'm about to speak? Would it feel victim-blaming? Would it feel disrespectful of their struggle or dishonest? Does it ignore their history or trauma? Is it actually helping?" These are the types of questions I try very hard to ask myself every time I post about the conflict, about both sides. I try to talk about this as if the people on both sides were my family. Because truthfully? They are. Am Yisrael is a family, before anything else. Palestinians are our closest cousins. This war is a bloodbath and a tragedy, and everyone is suffering. For those of us who are not living there, please remember this and have some respect.

Assume that “most” refers to either the majority of your family or the most important members to you, whatever makes sense for your experience. These options definitely do not encompass every situation, and I’m interested to hear everyone’s thoughts on this so please elaborate in tags or reblogs or whatever!
No see results button, goyim just have to wait
