Hans Lynge (Sept. 6, 1906 - 1988) was a painter and writer from Greenland. He trained first as a school teacher, and then went into politics. After WWII he went to Denmark to study at the Royal Academy, and he began to travel through Europe absorbing Expressionist inspiration and using it to paint traditional Inuit customs and culture.

Skulle vælge værkstedet på højskolen i dag, og er ikke kommet ind på det grafiske værksted. Det er den eneste kunstform jeg dyrker og hele grunden til jeg tog på højskole, og har gået rundt på grådens rand hele dagen.

Bodil Kaalund (Nov. 8, 1930 - 2016), was a Danish painter and textile artist who was taught by her artist father, and then entered the Academy in 1950.

She has created a lot of religious art for Danish churches, some of which is kept at the Lemvig Museet for Religiøs Kunst, created in 1994, partly for that very purpose.

Kaalund also had a tight connection to Greenland and helped found Grafisk Værksted in Nuuk, whiich later became the Greenland Art School.

Henrik Have (March 14, 1946 - 2014) was a Danish writer and artist, associated with the Fluxus movement, and other avant-garde groups. He was a minimalist, a conceptual artist, and gradually worked his way back towards some form of abstract expressionism. He did a number of series of graphic works, including a reworking of the Gilgamesh epic.
