july updates i
Disclaimer: I would like to begin this email thread by saying if you didn’t want to receive emails from me you shouldn’t have given me your email to begin with.
Joke of the chain: What did the fish say when he swam into a wall? Dam.
Hello all, First and foremost, happy birthday Dix, I love you so much. We have a new addition to the email chain, everyone please welcome Kiley Clifford, who had absolutely no idea that I was going to add her to this newsletter when I sent her my "How to Date In Boston" pdf. I'm hoping she reads it considering Miss Clifford is a full time dental student. Kiley, if you're reading this, welcome! We also have Kelli, my coworker, and Mark, my other coworker. We’ve also removed a few people on the basis that I don’t like them and by association, you don’t like them.
To start off the email, I want to explain that when I sent out the dating guidance...I didn't expect the positive feedback. I feel like at the end of the day, it just emphasizes that I am the most 'Type A' person in all of Boston, and how it's probably my only flaw. As someone who's best friend is always late or goes with the flow, I have had to adapt to a personality that just isn't me, and it's so funny because I was literally talking to her about it the other day (she's the only person I'd even consider being late for). Thomas tried to roast me for putting Scorpion Bar on there like it was for going out on a Friday night and not for a Tuesday 6:30pm date. Thomas is literally leaving at the end of the month so his opinion is not welcome on the basis that he broke my heart. Imagine, me, going through my Saturday call list (typically, Anthony, Allen, Thomas, Pat, Xavier, not in that order) and him answering the phone with, "Did Anthony tell you?" The way my heart dropped when he told me he was moving to North Carolina. I'm not going to discuss 7 leaving yet because I'm still in denial that I won't have my best friend with me.
I don’t think people understand how heartbroken I’ll be once 7 and Thomas are gone. I spend 4/7ths of the week with her & half the time we don’t even plan anything we just hang out. We literally do everything together and if we miss each other after 2 minutes now, what am I going to do when she’s in NYC. I’m not discrediting everyone else, don’t get me wrong, I have so many friends and I really don’t want any more, but you have only a few people you can do life with and not get tired of. 7 and I got through our two hardest breakups together, and I just started to get her to listen to Taylor Swift with me.
Kelli Talk: Today Kelli looked over at me, and asked me, “Shef, would you want to be reincarnated into a human again?” Before I could even think of an answer, she goes, “I think I’d be a willow tree.” Kelli really said, “Life was a willow and it bent right to your wind..” in the most innocent way. She and I walked to the T together like we usually do after work and the way I almost jumped into the fucking tracks when she looked up and her boyfriend got off the train just to say hi to her. God, please, I am not your strongest soldier, I WILL jump.
Friend group update: Thomas got a job at ESPN & he's moving to Charlotte (& I want to cry). Xavier might move to Chicago (& I want to cry). Sevin is moving to NYC (& I want to cry). Allen and Anthony will be here but do I really want to hang out with Allen? Mina Hanna moved to Jersey City but at least Kelvin is still here. Pat visited this week. Catherine started giving Riley attitude (finally). Nam and Drew moved to Waltham. Mina Shehata moved back home. Fiona is flying to Arizona to hang out with a boy she doesn't like. Kiersten is working. Pop culture Update: Kim Kardash and Pete Davidson broke up (we all knew it was coming) and Ye wasted no time in posting about it. It's kinda cute how petty Ye is. Fiona Roast: Fiona really puts on a going out fit to drink two high noons and cry.
Toxic update: I won’t say who but one of the girlies is about to find and fuck the business partner of their ex and we are currently in the middle of identifying this man so if you or anyone you know has any info on how to locate someone with 0 social media presence (not even linked in or google). He was WEIRD and didn’t give her any information other than his business partner’s nickname and his year of graduation. If this looks like something you’d be good at — obviously reach out to me at (603)-986-3659 for more details.
Show Update: The Only Murders in the Building Finale is next week & this weeks episode was burning H-O-T. I've never been the type of person to sit through and watch a show weekly (except for any of the Star Wars spin off shows, you can't tell me the Book of Boba Fett wasn't a whole masterpiece) but this show is like crack. Let's chat about it.
Boy Update: I know this is the one you've all been waiting for but honestly there is 0 tea other than the fact that I've been walking around Boston thinking that, I, little 5' tall me, is 5'8-6'3. I'm out here adjusting everyone's heights so that they're short and I'm the tall one. At an after party last weekend, I absolutely humbled this man because he was 6' tall (a whole 12 inches taller than me) and I thought he w like 5'8. 7 is 5'8. I thought she was 5'4. If you don’t believe me: my most recent Instagram caption was “Gangsta wrap told me I was 6’3” which I AM
Tumblr media
Availability this week: This week is abs crazy bc I half-planned a weekend and then canceled it because Alisha was coming but now it’s looking like I’m full sending it after being impulsive. I might wake up tomorrow and change my mind and stay home all weekend but for now, it’s looking busy. Once I figure everything out, I’ll send a follow up email but it will be one of the two options below:
The Grand (60% Confirmed) — For Dix’s Birthday (40% chance I miss bc I have a literal stalker that goes to the grand and I’m not trying to see that — in that case I’ll just go pregame with everyone)
NYC or Drinks w Catherine Friday (60% Confirmed) NYC Saturday or Empty Schedule (60% Confirmed) Sunday in Boston & Monday in Boston (60% Confirmed)
Best,
Shefali Patel
Follow up questions:
What's the superior office tool; a stapler or hole puncher?
On a scale of 1-10, how much caffeine do you think I drink on a daily basis?
Keep in mind you would be responding to the chain so don’t blow my spot if you can help it. I would really appreciate keeping my dignity if I could.
What to expect: weekly to biweekly emails regarding things that matter to me including but not limited to bad jokes, an update on plans, current events, and my personal favorite new recipes and places to check out!

SHAKESPEARE’S CORDELIA + DIVERONA’S CATHERINE
happy birthday, kiersten! @catherinedaly
INSP.
FULL PASSAGES UNDER THE CUT
1.
SHAKESPEARE:
LEAR: Thou hast her, France; let her be thine; for we Have no such daughter, nor shall ever see That face of hers again. Therefore be gone Without our grace, our love, our benison. Come, noble Burgundy.
[ Flourish. Exeunt Lear, Burgundy, Cornwall, Albany, Gloucester, and Attendants. ]
KING OF FRANCE:  Bid farewell to your sisters.
CORDELIA: The jewels of our father, with wash'd eyes Cordelia leaves you. I know you what you are; And, like a sister, am most loath to call Your faults they are nam'd. Use well our father. To your professed bosoms I commit him; But yet, alas, stood I within his grace, I would prefer him to a better place! So farewell to you both.
GONERIL: Prescribe not us our duties.
REGAN: Let your study Be to content your lord, who hath receiv'd you At fortune's alms. You have obedience scanted, And well are worth the want that you have wanted.
CORDELIA: Time shall unfold what plighted cunning hides. Who cover faults, at last shame them derides. Well may you prosper!
KING OF FRANCE: Come, my fair Cordelia.
[ Exeunt France and Cordelia. ]
DIVERONA:
[ In conversation with Grace Daly / Goneril ]
If she’d known, she’d have brought her gun.
But, hindsight is 20/20 and there’s no time to mull over how differently this fight would go if she brandished a pocket pistol rather than a blade; either way, she’s hellbent on showing her estranged sister that she’s no longer the little dove of a girl that Grace abandoned so long ago. Catherine smirks in spite of the eldest’s jab, deciding its better to keep her talking for as long as she can before they clash and spill the blood of their family. “Oh, Grace,” she sneers in return, a sickly sweet smile gracing her visage, “I’ve withstood your taunts and assaults for twenty-one years now. Don’t further insult your poorly-executed cruelty by doing me any favors.”
“Besides, soldatessa, haven’t you heard? I’ve received a promotion while you’ve remained stagnant. Tell me, sorella, how does it feel to be Hamlet’s bitch?” she cruelly goads, spurred on by the chaos that surrounds them both. “How many coffee runs have you been on in the last week, hmm?”
2.
SHAKESPEARE:
CORDELIA: [ aside ] Then poor Cordelia! And yet not so; since I am sure my love's More richer than my tongue.
LEAR: To thee and thine hereditary ever Remain this ample third of our fair kingdom, No less in space, validity, and pleasure Than that conferr'd on Goneril.- Now, our joy, Although the last, not least; to whose young love85 The vines of France and milk of Burgundy Strive to be interest; what can you say to draw A third more opulent than your sisters? Speak.
CORDELIA: Nothing, my lord.
LEAR: Nothing?
CORDELIA: Nothing.
LEAR: Nothing can come of nothing. Speak again.
CORDELIA: Unhappy that I am, I cannot heave My heart into my mouth. I love your Majesty According to my bond; no more nor less.
DIVERONA:
[ In conversation with Everett Craven / Edgar ]
You love her.
There’s something jarring about hearing her stream of consciousness reduced to three simple words: You love her. There’s something powerful about putting a name to her feelings, something she’s refrained from giving into—for her own sake and Brielle’s. But, here, with Everett quietly and simply filling in the blanks, she knows and finally concedes.
She’s always known.
Even though she’s not yet said it to Brielle, she knows.
It makes her wonder, then, if Brielle knows, too. It makes her wonder if the brunette’s heart sings at the sight of Catherine like Catherine’s heart does at the sight of Brielle—if she loves her like Cat does. Everett can see it, clear as day. It’s etched in the pensiveness in his green gaze, in the way he schools himself into the perfect embodiment of patience and acceptance despite the treasonous words that pour from her lips. You love her.
“I do,” Catherine murmurs after a slight pause, “and I can’t help it.”
But, it doesn’t need to be helped—at least, according to Everett who, perpetually devoted to his favorite godsister, is quick to remind her that her feelings aren’t wrong, but they are dangerous. “I know,” Catia says, voice barely louder than a whisper. The hefty weight of what if nearly buckles Catherine’s shoulders every time she gets a chance to see Brielle; an unabated sense of impending doom settles like lead in her bones and makes her question if it’s worth it—worth risking Brielle’s life, worth risking her own, worth risking her beloved Everett.
(She’s always answered yes, even if she’s the only one who ever hears her response. She doesn’t have the gall to voice such selfishness, such fervent longing.)
3.
SHAKESPEARE:
LEAR: How, how, Cordelia? Mend your speech a little, Lest it may mar your fortunes.
CORDELIA: Good my lord, You have begot me, bred me, lov'd me; I Return those duties back as are right fit, Obey you, love you, and most honour you. Why have my sisters husbands, if they say They love you all? Haply, when I shall wed, That lord whose hand must take my plight shall carry Half my love with him, half my care and duty. Sure I shall never marry like my sisters, To love my father all.
LEAR: But goes thy heart with this?
CORDELIA: Ay, good my lord.
LEAR: So young, and so untender?
CORDELIA: So young, my lord, and true.
DIVERONA:
[ In conversation with Everett Craven / Edgar ]
TW: DEATH, SUICIDE MENTION
At eight, she was too young to bottle her own emotions for the sake of others. At eight, she cried alongside Everett because life wasn’t fair; because she, too, was sad; because she ached for him, knowing that he’d never have a mother to tuck him in again like Simona did for her. At eight, even with her tender and too-loving heart, her world was Catia-centric. And despite the politeness in her words and her honey-sweet disposition, she liked it. Craved it, even, because at least she, the golden daughter, deserved it.
But now, at twenty-one, she’s wiser and less selfish–and less deserving, too.  At twenty-once, she will bottle her emotions for Everett’s sake. At twenty-one, she will not cry alongside him because life isn’t fair but there’s nothing one can do except keep going; because she, too, is broken–but the pieces of the Craven man are crumbling so much that even Catia’s dainty fingertips might not be able to pick them up; because she aches for him, for Maeve, for herself–but she doesn’t cry. She can’t.
Instead, she engulfs her godbrother in a massive hug and squeezes tightly. She holds him while he cries, remains steadfast and strong. There are no words, but she speaks anyways: “Why? What–” Her voice trembles and cracks. “Was it really her doing, or a framing like Lillian and Cassian’s murders?” She’s not sure which option is worse.

He leans in, and I smile against his lips, finally give up and let his love flood in and carve the last of my stone heart into a new shape I’m only just discovering. Somehow it doesn’t feel like a surrender. It feels like a victory.

Kagome wished she had chosen lower heels. Wished Sango had picked out a less crowded place to celebrate her twenty-third birthday. Wished she wasn’t so acutely conscious of Inuyasha’s voice, rising above the resounding music of the dark, cramped club to call out her name while she struggled to make an exit.
Mostly, Kagome wished she hadn’t come. Wished she hadn’t fallen so hard for him when his heart belonged to someone else. Wished she hadn’t just seen him kissing Kikyo. Wished her mind would take the damn scene off repeat.
Wished she had never met him.
“Kagome!”
She wouldn't stop, wouldn’t turn.
Hopefully, the sea of sweaty, drunk bodies between them would give her enough advantage to escape, to race the inevitable tears home.
“Kagome, wait up!”
Inuyasha was getting closer. Dangerously closer.
But so was the door.
Autumn air welcomed her out with a gentle blow, the city lights casting a colorful glow on the streets where it had just briefly rained. Kagome released a shaky breath, grateful for the temperature change and more than happy to leave all the noise behind.
Inuyasha caught up to her in a split second, making a point out of blocking her way and causing her to step aside with every intention to ignore his presence and keep going, which she would have done if he hadn’t mirrored her move, obstructing the passage once again.
“Let me by,” ordered Kagome, the words dripping out of her gritted teeth as she lifted her gaze to shoot invisible daggers at him.
Inuyasha’s features, initially worried, hardened into a scowl — an immediate response to her sour mood.
“No. We need to talk.”
“There’s nothing left to say.”
Kagome tried to walk past him, but a firm arm grip made her turn around.
“Why the fuck are you so upset?” Inuyasha was already facing her. Nostrils flared, mouth in a severe line.
“I’m not upset!”
“Good! ‘Cause you have no right to be.”
“Great,” she snapped, “then run back to your girlfriend and let me go!” For emphasis, she forcefully pulled the arm Inuyasha was still holding, wanting to break free from his touch and failing miserably to do so.
“No. No! This is bullshit. You don’t get to do this. You don’t get to act like I’m breaking your heart. You were the one who turned me down. This is what you wanted. Not me. You!”
“That’s not the point. The point is I knew you were still hung up on your ex. And I was right! It took you, what? Five whole minutes to shove your tongue down her throat?”
“It wasn’t like that.”
She scoffed.
“Of course it wasn’t. Let me guess: I must have imagined it. It didn’t mean anything. You were thinking about me the entire time. It will never happen ag—”
“Why do you care?”
“What?”
“Why do you care?” He repeated, taking one step forward to reduce the poor excuse of personal space between them by half, as if expecting her answer would eradicate the remaining. “I asked you to be my girlfriend. You said no.”
“Yeah, because I didn’t want to be a detour on your path back to Kikyo, not because I didn’t lo—”
“Not because you didn’t what?” Inuyasha sounded expectant. Hopeful, even. And the nearer he got, the smaller she felt in comparison, suddenly aware of her outfit choice. Perhaps if she had gone with a set of clothes that revealed less skin she wouldn’t be feeling so utterly naked under his gaze. Or perhaps it wasn’t about the clothing at all. Perhaps it was just the effect he had over her: that he was the only one who could see right through her. “Finish the sentence, Kagome.”
A part of her wanted to. Dangerously wanted to. Even if it wasn’t wise. Even if it could only end badly. Even if weighing the pros and cons got her to the same conclusion again and again. Because Inuyasha was an addiction. Her favorite kind. Kagome knew it wasn’t good for her health and yet she would always indulge in one more drag, telling herself it would be her last, that she could quit him whenever she pleased. And she was so damn sick of being cautious, giving in seemed inescapable.
Until she remembered Kikyo’s hand tangled up in his hair, her lips on his. Far from being something she could unsee, it was a constant reminder of why Kagome had been right about rejecting him to begin with.
“It doesn’t matter. You’ve made your decision, I made mine. There’s no going back. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go home.”
“You can’t leave! It’s Sango’s birthday.”
“She wasn’t expecting me to come, anyway.”
“Because of me?”
Inuyasha was dead on money, of course. Sango was the person she confided everything to, including her complicated feelings for Inuyasha, their mutual friend. Which was why the birthday girl was completely understanding when Kagome told her she wasn’t coming to the party. To stay in the same room as Inuyasha was tempting. And confusing. She should have stuck to the plan instead of showing up at the eleventh hour.
Not that she would ever tell him that.
“Don't flatter yourself.”
“I’m not. I’m just saying I didn’t expect you to come, either.”
“That’s why you kissed her? Because you thought I wouldn’t see it?” Kagome hated how her voice cracked at the end, hated the fact that she was so irrationally jealous of someone who wasn’t hers. “You know what? Don’t answer that. I don’t wanna know.”
Inuyasha appeared to be on the verge of insanity.
“You’re... impossible!”
“Let go of me or I’ll start screaming.”
“Fine,” groaning in frustration, Inuyasha finally released her arm, “be as stubborn as you fucking want. I don’t owe you any explanations.”
“No, you don’t,” she agreed, throwing him a final, defying look before leaving Inuyasha, that cursed club and that terrible night behind, lost in thoughts of anger and self pity and the contradiction of simultaneously not wanting to see his face and wishing he would chase after her.
Then everything happened too soon, too fast.
A deafening honk transported her back to the present, to the busy street Kagome was carelessly crossing. She turned to find blinding headlights coming straight toward her. Thousandths of seconds passed. Maybe hours. It was difficult to tell the difference when they were currently one and the same.
Her brain stopped working, but not without registering the sound of his voice first, crying out her name more desperately than she had ever heard. She would have replied, however her body didn’t obey her anymore — frozen right there, waiting for her impending fate.
There was no time for anything other than the fatal collision.
An impact that never came.
Inuyasha reached Kagome before the bus ever could, pushing her out of the way and into the safety of the sidewalk with him. The landing wasn’t gracious. He absorbed most of the fall — acting as a half demon shield to protect her fragile human bones — and the impact created by the combination of his supernatural speed and strength sent them rolling over the hard ground, with Inuyasha somehow ending up on top of her.
As the state of stupor subdued, she grew mildly aware of the horrified gasps and whispers of the curious bystanders. Apparently Kagome had just escaped a deadly traffic accident, the bus that almost did it was long gone and Inuyasha saved her life. He was the reason she was still breathing. Or, rather than breathing, panting. And shaking. Really shaking, now that the severity of the situation dawned on her.
His wild eyes stared at her with unnerving intensity, an emotion she couldn’t quite name pouring out of them, raw and earnest. Kagome wasn’t sure whether to thank him or apologize, idly wondering if the incandescence of those golden irises reflected on hers now that they were teary, just like the city lights reflected on the pavement from before. Did it look as beautiful to others as it did to her?
“Inuyasha, t—”
“Damn it, Kagome! Look both ways!”
Any inclination to wave a white flag at him vanished when confronted with his rude remarks. Couldn’t he be gentle for once, at least to receive her gratitude?
“Will you stop being a jerk and let me thank you properly?”
Kagome might as well not have spoken. Inuyasha got off her and pulled himself to a sitting stand, bluntly bringing her with him in the process to make his irritation pretty clear.
“Do you have any idea of what I’d do if—” Inuyasha drifted off, as if he couldn’t bear to say the thought out loud. Next thing she knew, he had her cloistered inside the tightest, most soothing hug. “Don’t you ever do something like that again.”
Taken aback, Kagome allowed herself to return the gesture, relieved to be held in his embrace, listening to the frantic pace of his heart.
“I’m… I’m sorry.”
Inuyasha let go of her to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, allowing her to see how softer his expression had gotten. His button down shirt — sleeves casually rolled up to his elbows — was covered in dirt.
“Kikyo had one too many drinks,” he began. “I didn’t kiss her. She kissed me. And…” Inuyasha had the decency to look guilty. “I let her. And I know I shouldn’t have. I guess… I guess it was my crooked way to get back at you,” he confessed. “To hurt you the way you hurt me. But I never meant for you to see it. You weren’t supposed to be there.” Inuyasha moved his palm, slowly stroking down her cheek. “And honestly, I didn’t think you’d care.”
“You didn’t think I’d care? How could I not?”
“I thought you were using Kikyo as an excuse to let me down gently. Because anyone with half a brain can see you’re it for me. Well, anyone but you, obviously.”
“Really?” Kagome let out, not caring in the slightest how much she sounded like a child suggesting a pinky promise.
Inuyasha nodded.
“I’m sorry about tonight. I’d take it back if I could. But it doesn’t change how I feel about you.”
“Yeah?” Kagome smiled and Inuyasha leaned in, taking advantage of her mood improvement — and the fact that his hand was still resting on her face — to close the gap between them.
Realizing his intentions, she placed two fingers on his lips to refrain his advances, hating the heat burning her face and the way he blinked in confusion.
“Not… not on the same night you kissed her.”
“Fair enough,” he sighed, standing up at last and offering her a helping hand that was promptly accepted, “but I am taking you home. Can’t trust you to walk around alone without getting yourself killed.”
“Sure, yeah,” conceded Kagome, unable and unwilling to hide her excitement, “absolutely.”
“And tomorrow we’re going out for dinner,” he informed, “then I will kiss you senseless.”

A/N.: as of this moment I am 5% done with this fanfic... Looking back, perhaps starting a 100 prompts challenge wasn’t my brightest idea.
Anyway. Happy birthday to my fantastic girl @lavendertwilight89 I didn’t have time to write a more elaborated piece like you deserve, but at least I did write you something. And on time too! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy being your friend. Love you so, so much!

Betty White’s assistant shares ‘one of the last’ pics of her on 100th birthday
Betty White’s assistant celebrated what would have been White’s 100th birthday by sharing one of the final photos taken of the late icon.
“Hello Everyone! It’s Kiersten. Betty’s assistant,” she wrote on Monday, in a post shared via White’s official Facebook page.
“On this special day, I wanted to share this photo of Betty. It was taken on 12/20/21. I believe it’s one of the last photos of her,” Kiersten continued. “She was radiant and beautiful and as happy as ever.”
In the pic, the legendary “Golden Girls” actress is seen sitting in a floral-printed chair, sporting a bright green ensemble, sparkling jewelry, a full face of makeup and a wide smile.
“Thanks to all of you who are doing kind things today and every day to make the world a better place,” Kiersten concluded the tribute to her former boss.
Notable names in Hollywood also shared sweet messages dedicated to White on her special day, including Morgan Freeman.
“Life is precious, and so are the friends that we meet along the way,” the actor tweeted alongside a photo of himself sharing the stage with White. “Happy Heavenly Birthday tomorrow Betty White! You will always be treasured!”
Google also honored White on her birthday by showering its search page with rose petals, a nod to Rose, her character from “The Golden Girls.”
As previously reported, the showbiz icon of more than eight decades died at the age of 99 on Dec. 31.
The Emmy winner’s cause of death was listed as a cerebrovascular accident — otherwise known as a stroke — in a Los Angeles County Department of Public Health document, obtained by TMZ earlier this month.
Happy 100th, Betty.

I would also like to recommend a pretty good fanfiction dedicated to Matsuda. It was posted both on Fanfiction.Net and DeviantArt. I remember reading it on last year's August and I was really invested into this. Sadly it's still a work in progress. It has been a work in progress for nine years actually xD
It's called "Just a martyr" and it takes place after Kira's death. Here’s the link

Ford wants employees to sign COVID-19 contracts [Detroit Free Press]BY Knight Ridder/Tribune
— 2:27 PM ET 08/27/2020
Ford Motor Co. ( F ) launched a massive health safety campaign on Thursday in response to the coronavirus pandemic, an effort that includes a COVID-19 contract with Ford employees and their families.
"We understand the importance of caring for ourselves and others, and will commit to establish safe practices that will protect all of us against the spread of COVID-19," says the first line of a one-page agreement.
There's an eight -point list of items to which family members agree, ranging from washing hands for 20 seconds -- or twice the singing of the 'Happy Birthday' song -- and wearing a mask when away from home "even if friends pressure me not to wear a mask."
There's a four-point list of items for the parent or guardian in the home that includes engaging in "honest conversations" with family about the pandemic and its impact on the family and outside the home, leading by example and continuing "open dialogue."
The document ends with the statement: "We have talked about and understand the terms and conditions of this contract and agree to honor them."
It ends with lines for family member signatures and the date when signed.
Put on the fridge
"This isn’t mandatory. It’s completely voluntary," Kiersten Robinson, Ford's chief human resources officer, told the Free Press.
"We are encouraging the conversation -- because that’s what’s most important. How you continue to educate yourself around what’s going on, how to stay healthy at home and, importantly, engage your family in those conversations. Each family will make a decision that’s right for them."
She continued, "We want to reinforce, though, the measures that have worked really well at Ford to keep our employees safe and protected will also do the same thing at home. So it’s an opportunity for employees to share what those measures are with their kids and with their loved ones and talk about how they can use those at home. And decide what will make the most sense for them."
This fallacious line of thinking as to families "decide(ing) what will make the most sense for them" is right out of the Republican playbook. All the CDC steps that are covered "make the most sense" for EVERYONE. PERIOD!
