It's been a long day. Fighting monsters, getting beaten by the big bad of the week, tossed around like their training dummies until they figured out how to beat the monster with a clever mix of Preston's magic and Sarah's ingenuity. The only bad part is that Preston couldn't be morphed while they fought, since his magic was restrained under the Power. The price one pays, he says when the others bring it up.

Sarah doesn't say it, but she knows it bothers him.

They end up heading back to Brody's house, which he shares with Levi and Mick. Calvin is limping from a well-placed fireball to the leg, Hayley's supporting her ribs where she's sure some Basherbots hit her. Preston's got a black eye and his arm in a sling where he got attacked while doing the spell. Brody and Levi are mostly untouched, natural born Ninjas and masters at protecting their backs while fighting from the front. Sarah, herself, has a bandage around her head from where the shrapnel of the resulting explosion when the monster was destroyed cut her.

Brody shoves open the door and gestures towards the living room. He and Levi disappear up the hall and come back with blankets in multiple colors. Calvin immediately snatches the massive white and yellow one to wrap around himself and Hayley. Sarah snaps up the pink one and leans into Hayley's uninjured side. Levi keeps the golden one, settling in behind Calvin, and Brody spreads the blue one over Preston's legs before spooning up behind the magician and laying his head on Sarah's leg with his back pressed to Hayley and Calvin's knees.

"Movie?" Levi asks, grabbing the television off the couch and turning it on.

"Tom and Jerry," Sarah offers in response, seeing a marathon on Boomerang. Levi selects that channel immediately and puts the remote back down. With that, it's just the six of them existing together peacefully. Hours pass like this, them ignoring the world as they unwind from the battle and the fact that they'd almost lost each other again. Maybe it's not so shocking that they start to fall asleep.

Preston goes to sleep first. Magic is still new to him, so he's tired way quicker when he uses his magic. He's followed by Sarah, who's overextended herself in battle once more. Hayley and Calvin are awake one minute, watching Jerry chase Tom around painted as a white mouse, and asleep the next, Hayley's head on Calvin's shoulder and Calvin leaning back against Levi's chest. Brody's out next, curled protectively around his Blue. Levi's asleep not long after.

When they wake the next morning, no one worries about it. There's no school or parents to appease. There's no Mick calling them for training. There's no reason for anything to bother them, so they stay cuddled together on the floor, only getting up to get food and use the bathroom.

It's how they prefer it anyway.

Imagine you want to write a story, but Brody won't let you.

"I'm writing it." You told Brody for the millionth time that day.

"We've been over this, hon." He replied.

You got up after fixing stuff under the car.

"No, you talked, I ignored." You smirked and continued, "By the way, You need a new muffler."

"I think this is a tie rod end." He said as he examined the part.

"Come on, Levi, back me up here." You looked at your husband's older brother for some help.

"Uh, no, thanks. I know better than to get involved in a debate with Y/N Y/L/N." Levi replied playfully.

"But you do know the feeling, that itch, that fire in the back of your head, the siren song of a story that has to be written. Huh?"

"Yeah, I do, I do."

You turned to face Brody and he said,

"The world is gonna want to know why Y/N Y/L/N went to space with the Red Ranger."

"Details, I'll make up a reason." You replied.

"Oh, so much for truth in journalism." He said to you with a small smile on his face.

"Says the reporter who writes about his own exploits as the Red Ranger." You then took a pause, "I was the first human to set foot on what's left of An Alien spaceship, to lay eyes on the Jewel Parts, to endure the endless, hallways of the cells, and I have to write about it." You chuckled, "One small step for Y/N Y/L/N, one giant leap for Y/N Y/L/N's career."

"Says the woman who is already the most famous, feared, and intrepid reporter on two earths," Brody replied and you rolled your eyes.

You pulled on his shirt to clean a stain off.

"And yet someone on this farm is still making 21 cents on the dollar more than me." You smiled, "And it ain't Levi, honey."

You gave him a kiss. Then said, "You two catch up. I am gonna go slam some small things really hard."

You went into the barn and started climbing up the ladder.

"Okay, just be careful on that ladder. It's really old." Brody told you, concerned about your safety.

You smirked at him, "You'll catch me."

D - Dreams

Sarah has dreams sometimes about having rough sex that leaves her with bruises. Brody's the only one comfortable enough to do that with her though.

Hayley had dreams about getting double penetrated. Calvin and Sarah did that for her once while she sucked Preston off.

Preston doesn't dream a lot, and when he does, it's usually about magic. Calvin doesn't dream at all. Brody and Levi both agree that their dreams are nothing compared to reality.

E - Experimenting

Brody, Preston, Hayley, and Sarah are always looking for new things to try. Calvin's a little hesitent, and Levi is willing but not actively looking. They all trust each other and can read each other better than anyone else can.

~

G - Games

Hley and Sarah play connect four for who tops who. Levi and Brody flip a coin for who stays in the room during full fledged scenes unless specific requests are made. Sometimes, they throw darts at a board for different kinks or positions to try out.

~

H - Humor

They're all business for the most part, but none of them mind sharing a laugh during sex. There's six of them, five during any scene. If one doesn't fall off the bed at least once, they consider it a really good night. Usually Brody or Calvin fall off the bed.

~

V - Video Call

Not usually with Preston or Levi during the day, because both have to be ridiculously professional in their day-time jobs. However, there's been several times when they're on a call and one starts something to finish later on.

X - X-Rated

Hayley does on occassion, usually with Calvin or Levi. She gets ideas that way. Usually she just comments on how unrealistic the moaning is, but porn is how she got Calvin to try wax play.

Z - Zones

Brody: Neck and back

Preston: Scalp and hands

Calvin: None that he knows of

Hayley: Clavical and breasts

Sarah, thighs and the small of her back

Levi: Arms and neck

A Small Rant/Vent on Power Ranger’s Dimensions In Danger

Hi everyone, I had a small question and pondering thought I’d like to ask you all about concerning the 25th anniversary episode of Super Ninja Steel.

Am I the only one who thought that whole better than Legendary Battle and Clash of the Red rangers, Dimensions in Danger was still a bit underwhelming?

Like it’s cool that we got to see past rangers such as TJ, Katherine, Trent, Wes, Jemma, etc. BUT, Tommy is the only one that gets much of anything to do as they’re just there for the sake of it being the 25th anniversary of Power Rangers. TJ and Trent being two of my personal favorite male rangers only getting like 1 or 2 lines of dialogue. It’s also weirdly framed to where the characters that directly talk to Tommy are people who if I remember correctly don’t or haven’t on-screen had any relationship with him.

And on a last note, when and how did Tommy make the master morpher?

Mr. Tien telling Calvin he smells like a girl because of the extract and syrup and Calvin being FULLY secure in his masculinity, thank you very much.

Calvin being totally aware that he's wearing a blouse and heeled boots he got in the mutual breakup with Hayley, but being totally unwilling to give them back no matter how many times someone brings it up.

Kissing in an unexpected downpour and cutting scenes to observe Calpresto walking soaking wet into a Denny's.

One of the most original time-travel thrillers since 12 Monkeys. A brilliant subversion of the Time Paradox trope, with enough plot twists to keep you entertained until well after the movie is finished. Predestination is an amazing movie with great performances from Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook. It’s a movie that will feel like Inception, when it comes to messing with your mind and barely anyone has heard of it. It is highly underrated and unknown, sadly.

A zombie virus breaks out and catches up with a father as he is taking his daughter from Seoul to Busan, South Korea’s second-largest city. Watch them trying to survive to reach their destination, a purported safe zone.

The acting is spot-on; the set pieces are particularly well choreographed. You’ll care about the characters. You’ll feel for the father as he struggles to keep his humanity in the bleakest of scenarios.

It’s a refreshingly thrilling disaster movie, a perfect specimen of the genre.

Serenity is a futuristic sci-fi film that serves as a feature-length continuation of the story-line from the TV program Firefly (2002–2003). The story revolves around the captain (Nathan Fillion) and crew of the titular space vessel that operate as space outlaws, running cargo and smuggling missions throughout the galaxy. However, when at a tele-marketing job an old-timer tells him to use a “white voice”, he starts moving up the ranks of his bizarre society. A really smart movie that will be mostly enjoyed by those who watch it for its entertaining value, and not so much for its commentary. It is like a Black Mirror episode stretched into a movie.

Ex Machina is the directorial debut of Alex Garland, the writer of 28 Days Later (and 28 Weeks Later). It tells the story of Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson from About Time), an IT developer who is invited by a billionaire CEO to participate in a groundbreaking experiment — administering a Turing test to a humanoid robot called Ava (Alicia Vikander). Meeting the robot with feelings of superiority at first, questions of trust and ethics soon collide with the protagonist’s personal views. While this dazzling film does not rely on them, the visual effects and the overall look-feel of Ex Machina are absolutely stunning and were rightly picked for an Academy Award. They make Ex Machina feel just as casually futuristic as the equally stylish Her and, like Joaquin Phoenix, Gleeson aka Caleb must confront the feelings he develops towards a machine, despite his full awareness that ‘she’ is just that. This is possibly as close to Kubrick as anyone got in the 21st century. Ex Machina is clever, thrilling, and packed with engaging ideas.

kinsley weston was born on a random wednesday afternoon after one of their many days at the cherry creek country club. within a few days, she was snuggled up at home with her parents and older siblings. she was the third child born to barbara and william and she was one of their easiest babies to date.

when her parents found out about kinsley liking girls, they immediately told her that she had to choose between her sexuality or them. they told her that they would disown her and kick her out along with her college fund if she didn’t stop. they were very religious and had a reputation to protect and because kinsley didn’t have money elsewhere, she had to follow what they want despite the fact that she hates everything they stand for.

It has been nearly two years since I have written anything on here. Two years since re-entering Tumblr Land, as I am dubbing it. I used to fucking live for Tumblr. I’m so thankful to be able to look back, because it reminds me of how creative, inspired, angsty, and sad I was. Like wow, I have so much more stability now. I think 22 year old would have thought my current life is boring. Maybe it is boring, but honestly, I think there’s something romantic about having a routine, having stability, having genuine safety that you don’t have to work for. Not that I really had “safety”- I think that my younger self (meaning my college and my DC self) felt that she had safety- but it was really just people pleasing and other forms of manipulation?

(I feel very meta as I write this, like one day semi soon, I’ll look back and feel silly and small, like my worries were nothing and I can’t believe I gave it so much time.)

By worries, I mean that I had a (minor) break down last night. I felt very frustrated that I don’t want kids, that I’ve never wanted kids, and I wish I did. It would be easier emotionally, though not physically, financially, or in really any other way. I feel like I’m being left behind when Hayley says things like “Well, whatever you decide is the right choice for you. You have plenty of time. If you don’t have kids, you will other child- free friends.” As if I’m no longer allowed to be friends with parents. As I would need to siphon myself away to other people who chose to forgo the social norm. I know that she wants children. Or that Weston really wants them, and I feel like she’s being kind of pushed into it, as to not disappoint him. Maybe that’s too harsh to say, but I say that because when we really talk about it, she seems to understand and agree with my fears. And then it always ends with “Well, I’m going to do it anyway.” Just so interesting... I don’t mean to blame Weston for that- it’s not blame per se- but I do wonder why she feels that she has to resign to doing it “anyway.”

I think she did make a great point though about not wasting my childless years worrying about whether or not I should do it. I have PLENTY, I repeat PLENTY of time- though I did look into egg freezing yesterday and WHO KNEW it cost about $20,000?! Not I, said the fly.

I know there’s time. And so much will change and so much will remain the same (looking back on these Tumblr posts really reminds me of how true that it). I am, for what it’s worth, jealous of those people who have always known they wanted kids. Even if they were conditioned or guilted into it for some religious reason or what have you. I have always been so sure of what I want in a variety of areas of my life. It’s very foreign for me to NOT know. Or to know that I don’t want them, but be unable to resonate in that headspace. I keep thinking back to doing shrooms years ago, how I said that being a mother is my biggest fear, and my biggest desire.

Sometimes I find myself just saying things because they sound right. Or they sound pretty/ poetic. I do struggle to trust myself, and to trust that I really felt that way. Maybe another drug induced afternoon is what I need to regain clarity (that was a serious suggestion).

I think it may be worth exploring/ doing some journaling around what it would be like to have a child. In an ideal situation. I have swung so far away from romanticizing the notion that I can only see the bad, the ugly sides, the strain, the leaking breasts, the toddler screams, the food in my hair. Not to mention the health concerns, the mental health crises that I feel are inevitable in that future generation of which my child would be a part of.

Last night, I asked Stephen if we could spend the next few days just leaning into the idea of having children, of not shit talking it, and just maybe, for a little bit, even pretend (I think I used the word “pretend”) that we wanted children. Just to see how that would feel. That conversation was the beginning of the break down, ha, but I still think there’s some merit in that.

I think it’s more of a breakdown around the fact that we’re here! My friends and I are here, we are at the point where we feel like we need to have serious conversations about our futures, and about children, or child free. And it’s hard because I know that there will be natural divisions. Hey, there already are (married vs single, engaged vs married, etc.). It’s just a part of life, and I appreciate and recognize that. AND I am scared. Scared of all the change and am such a planner that I can’t just BE.

There needs to be a docuseries about pregnant and new mothers/parents. I’m sure such a thing already exists, but I need more opinions in my ears besides my own (and Hayley and Weston’s, which I love and value, but I need more). I want other perspectives to shake up my own.

One other additional and rambling thought- I think that my parents, especially my mother, is too hands off. I wish that she shared her opinion about some things, or really, no, not shared her opinion unless I ask, but I wish she asked me what I thought or how I was feeling more. I feel like she just tells me about her day and asks about mine, and maybe that’s normal. But I would want more of a child, more for a child- parent relationship, if I were to walk down that road.

It makes me think of Mana- Cyrus and Mazi’s Mom- and I have so many questions for her. And there’s this part of me, small but mighty, that really wants to share my pregnancy with Mana. I want to have that moment where I give her a phone call, where we both cry, where we can share in this moment together, where she can assure me that I’m doing the right thing, and that it will be hard, but so, so worthwhile. And that I’ll be happier and more fulfilled for doing so. That I won't know what I don’t know. That my life is only just beginning. For me to feel all of that and to not feel judged or boxed in. To just agree with her whole heartedly, leaving my doubts at the door, and plunging into this foreign terrain without any looking back. To change.

A/N: Y/B/F/N=Your Best Friends Name and Y/BF/B/N=Your Best Friends Brothers Name.

It wasn't a lie that you were the shyest girl in the school. That's why Levi liked you so much. When Levi asked you out you asked him 'why?'. He said 'Because you're cute and you like to stay away from the crowd.' Obviously you said yes, at first you thought it was a joke but Levi turned out to be really sweet and not full of himself like most musicians.

After your third date with the gold ranger, he asked you to officially be his girlfriend, and to prove he was being serious he told you he was the gold ranger. To say you were shocked was and understatement but you said yes anyway. You knew what you were getting yourself when you did, but you loved Levi to the point you would to die for him.

Now, you don't like meeting new people and socialising and Levi new that but he wanted you to meet his friends and officially say "Guys, this is my girlfriend, Y/N." But you already figured out that he's friends were the other five rangers. Hayley was so exited that the four of you could go on double dates. The only thing that Levi had on his list was for you to meet his dad.

So here you are, at his house to meet his dad. You were really nerves. Levi knew what you thinking so he took your hand in his and said,

"My dad is a nice guy. He's so chill, like you. He'll love you. Stop worrying, princess."

"It's not that, it's just...remember when you meet my friends?" You replied.

"The Sandlot shenanigan? Yeah. What about it?"

"Well, what if I invited your dad to the Sandlot tomorrow?"

"Babe, are you saying you want my dad to A; Meet your friends, B: Be involved with the don't jump over the fence thing, and C: Watch us being all lovey dovey?"

Let's just say you and Dan had a lot in common. You told him about the Sandlot and invited him. He said,

"If work ends early, I'll be there."

The next day, after school you and the rangers went to the Sandlot. You started playing the game, picking up where you left off the day before. Dan arrived when you were up to bat. You looked at Your best friends brother and gave him the signal to do the joke.

"This is like déjà vu." You said.

"What's like déjà vu?" Y/B/F/N responed.

"This is like déjà vu."

"What's like déjà vu?" Y/B/F/N laughed.

"Got ya."

She got back into her position. Her brother looked at you and said,

"I'm just gonna go nice and easy on ya at first, okay?"

"You know what, Y/BF/B/N? That's always been your problem. You're too nice." You stated.

"Excuse me?" He relpied.

"You're excused." You smirked.

"Y/N, wait! Before you bat-"

Levi ran up to you and put his Cowboy hat on your head. You shook your head at his goofiness.

"That's cute."

He chuckled and gave you a good luck kiss. He whispered,

"Go get 'em, tigger."

He ran back to the dug out and stopped when he felt the Rangers and Dan stair at him.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing!" They yelled in unision.

"Yeah, okay. Nothing." He nodded and sat down. Brody got his phone out and everyone repeated the Red Ranger. They texted in the group chat that doesn't have Levi in it.

Brody: They are so cute together!

Hayley: Couple goals.

Calvin: What about us?! Nobody's cuter then us!

Sarah: They cuter then you and Hayley. Even she can agree.

Preston: Yeah, he literally called a time out, ran up to her, gave her his hat and gave her a good luck kiss.

Dan: Y/N's a good kid. She's nice and she makes Levi happy. That's all I want for him.

Brody: You're right dad, I haven't seen him this happy since...well, since he became the gold ranger.

Hayley: Guys! I know there cute and all but let's just watch the game.

All: Sorry!

Everyone has left the chat.

It was getting late so you decided to go home. You all said your goodbyes and left the Sandlot. Dan gave you a lift. You got out of the car and said 'thank you.' But before you could even go in your own house, Levi grabbed your hand which caused you to spin around. You smiled at him and he kissed you softly. You pulled away and said goodnight. Levi went back to the car and saw the look on his brothers face.

"Lover boy!" Brody grinned at Levi. As a response to his brothers remark, Levi playfully pushed Brody as he exclaimed,

"Shut up!"

You're friends where starting to get to him. As the gold ranger his duty is to protect the earth, but he's duty as himself is to protect you.
