so with this year’s April Fool’s event, which is themed after the Chinese Zodiac, A3! has given almost every character confirmed official birth years depending on what zodiac clan they were assigned to! these are as follows:
?????? - Guy, Azuma (they were assigned the cat, which is an unofficial / excluded zodiac sign. clever move, Liber.)
1987 (Rabbit) - Sakyo
1991 (Ram) - Homare
1992 (Monkey) - Chikage, Hisoka
1993 (Rooster) - Tsumugi
1994 (Dog) - Tasuku, Itaru
1995 (Pig) - Citron
1997 (Ox) - Omi
1998 (Tiger) - Misumi, Kazunari
1999 (Rabbit) - Tsuzuru
2000 (Dragon) - Banri, Juza
2001 (Snake) - Sakuya, Tenma, Taichi
2002 (Horse) - Masumi, Kumon
2003 (Ram) - Yuki, Muku
2004 (Monkey) - Azami
(Izumi got assigned Rat, which would be 1996, but based on canon statements about her age (her knowing Sakyo as a kid + her being the same general age as TaTsm), she’s presumably a 1992-1993 baby & she got put in Rat solely bc no one else filled that slot.)

Actually, can we also get a story about a bi person who’s already comfortable in their sexuality and has to deal with biphobia from external sources? Because for as much as I know those stories are important, I’m really tired of seeing the “straight-to-bi” storyline, especially when that bi person will usually only have same-sex relationships post-acceptance, usually with a gay protagonist who’s already comfortable in their sexuality and has to help the bisexual accept their identity (because god forbid two bisexuals end up in a relationship, let alone have one of them an affirming figure). I want to see a character being openly bisexual in more than one relationship, with people of different genders and sexualities. No matter how nuanced or well-written the “straight-to-bi” storyline is, I’m getting sick of seeing it.
ADDITION: I also want to see portrayals of biphobia that isn’t based on homophobia. Yeah, the two are linked but when I have to hear about how bisexuals will always cheat on their partner and are never happy and are actually just straight/gay but should just pick a side, stories about dealing with homophobia just don’t make me feel seen.
And I want gnc bisexuals too.

This is such a random thought but post book 7 we're headed towards what is clearly a downspiral for Rand. And at this point he's ruling multiple nations so you'd think that the the trigger points that keep the downspiral going would be very significant events - possibly political, personal or battlefield failures. And while we do get those failures, they're not the focal points causing the downspiral - what we get instead is Min playing Damsel in Distress to wreck his mental health instead. Why. This is not a romance novel. Also please, Aviendha and Elayne exist!! Why do they get so little time with him!!!
