Listen, I get that, I totally get being pissed off when a character is changed to someone else (I'm usually pissed when a villain is made into a hero), but it simply could never be me. I love that mean bitch.

Also, I suppose it's worth mentioning that they sort of (from what I've heard) combined him and Thingol together because there just isn't much to go on for Thranduil in the book.
