-yeah, my favorites are chobe, toma and fuchi i think.

-shion and tenza's relationship is lovely

-damn nurugai made me tear up

-gosh i hope shion can keep his word and be with nurugai on the mainland. the sensei usually perish along the way

-the iwagakure shinobi took one look at the convicts and their asaemon allies and went "WHEEEEEEE MURDER!"

-i kinda think poor gabimaru got a little short-changed; sagiri, too, for the exact same reasons, but i'll focus on gabimaru as he's the face of hell's paradise. i think he got his epiphany and change of heart too soon and he's been emotionally static since then, whereas most of the side-characters have been on a personal journey from the beginning, slowly learning and evolving, and it makes them so much more compelling to observe.

-er. yuzuriha? what kind of takesies-backsies death was that. i mean, yeah, she didn't get a certificate of death or anything, but still. eh, whatever.

-i really like shugen, he's the hero of his own story and an antagonist in the main story, and he could easily be the righteous protag of his own manga, but he happens to be in this manga where he's a hindrance

-SHUGEN FUCKING KILLED FUCHI?! AVENGE HIM, SOMEONE ANYONE

-i'd missed grumbling gabimaru

After Chainsawman lost my hopes in MAPPA but Hell's Paradise deserve a lot of opportunities so this is the beginning a beautiful beginning.

-huh. sagiri is much more visually interesting in the manga -i have no idea what's happening in some of the action panels -why do i like the fashion reviews so much -"an extreme deviant in his thinking and ethics"? gabimaru? u sure, sagiri? have you looked around you? -i feel like we've never really seen gabimaru being truly hollow for this 'changed man' speech to hold any real weight. -am i supposed to believe sagiri and gabimaru shouldn't end up together? bc the text seems to ship them real hard -hm. so far i'm thinking exactly what i thought of the anime, albeit for different reasons - 'does what it should, but no more than that.' huh. -tenza was and still is the best boy -hold up hold up, gabimaru on par with lord tensen on volume 4?! come now. -oh the anime has rearranged scenes a lot after some point huh -yes yes here we are, i remember this from the anime, how it's suggested wife might be a mere illusion, but sagiri tells gabimaru she's still in the village and is waiting for him, so… there IS someone? otherwise who… why, who -ah, finally, non-anime territory -i really do like the chobe and toma brothers, they stand out for me -will the power of friendship bring gabimaru back to himself? can sagiri do it? stay tuned for… nope, she can't. good. nice that she figured it out instantly though -WHY IS MEI SO RED, HOW SIMILAR IS THIS TO BOTSU JUTSU, AND THEY'RE QUITE COMPATIBLE?! am i seriously supposed to ship gabimaru with the wife? when sagirin is right there? -regardless of all else, i really like gabimaru's design. -toma cut off his hair :O. ey character development though. from an extension of his brother, he wants to become equals -let's drink to chobe, a shonen young male that doesn't get brain-dead at the possibility of having sex -BABIES IN PLANT POTS -"there are some parts of this story that'll progress in directions that are unknown even to the author" HAHAHAHA, said most creatives ever -the thing mangaka do when they draw only half-faces of the shorter characters because they wouldn't logically fit in the panel never gets old for me -i find it real sweet that sagiri had a crush on shugen -i really like shugen's eyes and the expressions of his eyes -could this masked person be… yui? nah? too much? yeah. -i'm sorry, why are we robbed of the 'climb on me, sagiri'/'i'm sorry, do what now, gabimaru?' conversation between sagiri and gabi?! -the way yuzuriha and gabimaru cut Ran in two, topnotch, good stuff
