It was just a normal day at the Spider HQ. Undecorated, unspooky, normal day as ever. No fake blood, no edible skulls or zombie cookies -nothing; standing out amidst a very festive Nueva York. Miguel doing his Miguel things as all the Spider's spend their day in their regular spidey suit and as unfestive as possible.

That was, until their spidey senses tingled.

A blur of black and pink shoots through the entrance, swinging and screaming as they pass through to the main hall.

"TIRCK OR TREAT, ARACHNO-FOLKS!"

Pavitr Prabhakar's voice rings loud through the establishment, the hoodie of his onesie flipping back to reveal his ever-amazing luscious raven hair. He lands and plays with his bangles, watching you do a somersault between the gaps in the lanes and land beside him.

You screech out a "HAPPY HALLOWEEN, Y'ALL!", waving your plastic jack-o-lantern candy bucket around and holding it up for treats.

The perplexed face of Miguel O'Hara, however, stops you in your tracks.

Dang. [Cue dramatic music]

"What the hell!?", he sputters, baffled at your appearance. "And what is that costume?!"

"I'm Kuromi!", Pavitr says enthusiastically, gesturing to the pink skull on his forehead and the black devil tail on his costume.

"And, I'm My Melody!" Your pink bunny ears flopping around as you begin to explain the characters excitedly.

Miguel crosses his arms over his chest, halting you short -the least bit amused. "Did I not say no parties inside the HQ? We have more important work than dressing up for a sugar high."

His menacing glare can be seen from a mile away, but you won't let that faze you. Not today.

"But, señor Miguel, it's Halloween!" Pavitr and you pout, making puppy eyes at him.

He's stubborn. "Get rid of the ridiculous costume. Now."

"No!", you say, not backing down. "We want a Halloween party! Party! Party! Party!"

Miguel grows even more annoyed when some other spideys, including Spider-ham, join in the chant. A hand lays on his shoulder.

"Let them, O'Hara, they're children", Jessica says. "A little party ain't gonna do nobody no harm. Plus, it's HAL-LO-WEEN!"

She turns around, her black and red velvet cape flying behind her, and looks up from behind the stiff collar like Dracula. She winks at you. "Looking cute, kiddos!"

"You too?- ugh!" Miguel groans and turns to you. "Costumes. Off. Now. Nobody here is going to party!"

You pout, just when your spidey senses tingle again.

"Did somebody say Party?"

Miles, Gwen, Hobie and Peter B, with May Parker on the baby carrier, wearing Halloween outfits land in a perfect line beside you guys.

"Uhh.....", drags Morales as he looks at Hobie in his usual attire, but more colourful. "You didn't dress up."

"I have. I'm anarchy."

"Yeah, very creative", Miles retorts, earning an elbow from Gwen.

"Who are you dressed up as, again?" Hobie wears a smug smile, gesturing to the imitation Spider-punk suit Miles is parading around in. The Brit leans down his ear as if to whisper a conspiracy. "I'll admit bruv, you look much more cooler, now."

Miles doesn't reply as Hobie pats his shoulder and moves past him with a smirk. This encourages the other spideys to reveal their own costumes that they've hidden under their suits.

"You planned this beforehand? Without my knowledge?!"

You guys blush sheepishly but O'Hara has moved on to a more ridiculous sight that just walked in.

"And what are you supposed to be?", he asks Peter B, eyes squinted as he judges the medieval costume he's wearing.

"I'm the Mandalorian and this is my cute, sweet little baby Yoda", he says, holding May Parker up in the air like the Lion King. She giggles, making her father coo. "May the force be with us!"

O'Hara shoots him a deadpan glare.

Miguel's brows twitch, shooting betrayed looks at the 'adults' who were supposed to supervise such naughtiness.

Jessica playfully rolls her eyes, trying to coax him. "It's okay to let a little loose sometimes, big guy."

Miguel internally sighs but doesn't show it on his face, though everyone knows he caved in. "You party, You clean."

A loud hurray erupts in the room. Soon, you begin to make skulls, ghosts and various spooky animal shapes from your web solutions, hanging it around the place. Hobie brings a few jack-o-lanterns using his Gizmo imitation watch, Gwen brings candy and at the end of half an hour, everything is set for merriment.

Miguel shakes his head and tries to walk away but Peter B persuades him to join. "C'mon, old man! Trick or treat?"

It's the first time most spideys see Miguel genuinely smile. He has many a cool trick up his sleeve, no doubt what he used to entertain his daughter with. You watch in awe, trying out a few yourselves.

"Is that a trick I see coming my way, Kuromi?", you ask, catching Pavitr trying to sneak candy from your bucket to his.

"Oh, absolutely, My Melody!"

He starts chasing you around as you scream and run. Decors and other stuff are knocked over, but nobody cares. Even Miguel chuckles watching you get tangled in the decor webs while Pavitr takes advantage of it to steal all your candies.

Worst trick, but Best Halloween ever! _____

Ch 6 is so good! She’s getting a little closer to them yay TT Yoongi is making me soft omg. He’s so sweet. Poor thing isn’t accepting what she wants (Yoongi) :( She’s getting closer to Hobi! Jin :/ It does feel realistic to have someone be against her staying. Especially since Jin cares about how she makes Hobi feel. And she's a stranger. It's understandable but still :/ Hobi's heat is coming ooh?! Jin and Hobi are so cute. Them talking about pups omg. Tae’s sister comment made me emotional TT It’s so nice. Is she mainly going to be close to Yoongi?

The fact that her interactions with yoongi are the closest she has come to listening to her instincts in a very vert long time kills me more the longer i think about it.

Yeah the Jin thing is tough bc i also want him to accept her but his love for hobi and how he prioritizes his husband's happiness is just beyond anything. Not even joking that wasnt how i was planning to write that scene in the first part. Like jin was just gonna help build the nest but once i started writing he was jist pouty and i was like oh okay i didnt know you felt that way. I think its kinda cute tho. Like how when your bestie was upset about something but got over it but you're still upset for them 😂

Ugh idk if we'll get into at some point but jimin hit on it once. But tae was an only child growing up and his parents are go so when he first came to the pack he was like, oh I've always wanted brothers. Eventually it became more obviously but he's honestly so hungry for family its cute and sad at the same time. Like idk exactly how it's gonna go (bc my characters surprise me sometimes) but if his love for her only ends up being platonic i wont even be mad bc i think that would be so nice for both of them 🥺

Jung Hoseok nearly died to actually make publishable Yoongi's book

But eventually he made it

He hoped the day at the luna park was enough for Jungkook to be forgiven after spending nearly every afternoon with Namjoon and his kid brother

Mostly, he hoped Namjoon could forgive him to have to deal with both his child and his own kid brother

When he mentioned it, Namjoon has a variety of emotions.

Surprise, then recognition. Eventually softness.

"they have been good, all things considered." He laughs a little "Just warning you, Jungkook took a passion for Just Dance"

Well, Hoseok considers when he watches his son weirdly dancing in front of the television, there are worst things that could happen

Also, now that he has a life back, he can discard Min Yoongi in his man cave or whatever he likes to call his attic and go back to his routine

Which means, pick up and drive is kid to school

And see again the cute teacher

Not that he cares

But you know

He does

That day Kim Taehyung was wearing a dark green vest and a white shirt and looked as an absolute old man

His housemate confirmed it and if Kim Seokjin tells you you look bad, it's true

The thing is, Taehyung didn't want to look hot, he just wanted to look comfy and cozy to his kids

When he steps outside to collect the kids, he regretted every choice made that morning

Because there it was. In all his elegant glory. Jung Hoseok.

The two exchanged a small wave and Tae nearly forgot he has something to say to him

"Come on Taehyung" he tries to say to himself "he's just another parent. Nothing to worry about. Nothing special. Not a crush, no sir"

"Hoseok-ssi" he calls him. By his name, because the first thing Jung Hoseok told him as they met is "you're taking my son most of the week, we can at least call each other by our own names"

"yah?" He was already moving towards the car, dammit.

Stumbling at bit at the beginning, Tae tells him about the little recital he proposed to the school board that year

Hoseok beamed at him

"that sounds wonderful! kids will have loads of fun"

Taehyung was positively gloating, but tried to hide it

"so this week it's going to be parents-teachers conference, so we can explain every detail"

Nobody will pry from his cold hands the knowledge that the reason why it was happening that week was that Taehyung knew as a fact that Hoseok was busy until now

And also, that nobody knew about the meeting in the first place

The thing is, a meeting was supposed to happen at some point, and Taehyung was a very considerate teacher, okay?

He needed to tell the principal about the meeting, tho

Ugh

On the other hand, Hobi was quite serene.

The wonders of a full night sleep, he guessed

Nope nothing to do with the cute teacher and the cute vest that made him look cozy and cuddly and all the stuff a grown up should not look like

It would be a lie to say that it didn't do anything to Hoseok.

But then again, Hoseok can be a good liar

His phone chimed in, showing a text from Yoongi

"so did you ask him out?"

"who?" "What do you mean who" "i mean who would I ask out" "the teacher, dumbass"

Hoseok stared at the phone for a solid five seconds

"you don't even know what day of the week it is" "And yet I know you brought the little monster to school, so you've seen him"

For someone who forgets to eat, Yoongi can be really persistent about stuff

"why" he just asks, glancing away from his computer. If anything, he knows Yoongi has little to none interest in his love life by itself

Not after he finished all the people he could set him up, anyway

Including himself

That was so weird that both kinda decided it never happened

So back to the text, Hoseok patiently waited for whatever was the real reason behind such concern

"I may or may not started planning the next book based on whatever vibe you and your lovely teacher give off"

Hoseok shrieked, but just a little

"but you know!!! Most of the time the final product have nothing to do with the beginning!!!" Yoongi continues

Six exclamation point usually mean that he's either lying or trying to convince him of something he didn't actually believe in. So lying, after all.

"and what's the plot" hoseok asks, but then "no, nvm. Don't tell me. Just. Idk. No"

Yoongi didn't reply, but then his editorial instinct won over all his better judgement

"okay, tell me the plot"

Yoongi answer arrived after less then three minutes and it was a shit ton long. He basically already planned everything and all he needed was the main characters

"and they would be me and Kim Taehyung?" Was the only answer Hoseok managed to cave

Because yeah, if life was a written book maybe they could have been the perfect romance

Even by changing some basic stuff - "don't worry you're all idols here" - and making some unrealistic concessions - "your character is the greater dancer of all times" - the way Yoongi was telling the story

A story that didn't exist

makes him want to fall in love for real

But here's the catch: they were real people, and crush on your child's teacher is problematic at best, creepy at worst

So no, he won't be pursuing that. Thank you very much

Having the ten years old doing the talking and the eight years old doing the dancing was his idea after all

Mr Lee smiles at him, like the old turtle he was, and sat down, waiting for him to speak

The old turtle seemed frail and sweet but he remembered being a child with him. It was all a play

Which makes him perfect for this project, he guess

So, let's convince the parents he knew what he was doing and what he was talking about despite never producing any school play

It went fairly well for the most of it

Every time he met Hoseok's stare, the other man was smiling, and that made him feel both excited and incredibly shy

But mostly gives him enough confidence at least finish the presentation of the general idea

When parents asked questions - price, time needed, how the parts would have been distributed - he tries to be as clear as he can

And hopes nobody will actually spot how much he still doesn't know

Eventually, the questions are over and the meeting is too, with a copy of the project to take home and a promise to see each other as soon as possible

Tae was putting in order his papers, trying carefully to not perceive either Hoseok nor Namjoon, but of course karma hates him

It's not like he could have the worst face in the history of faces and just have his life passing by

No, he had to live his 5-hours-sleep-10-hours-work while wearing his most anonymous clothes and have something less of a Idol staring at his face

"everything alright?" Hoseok asked, and the question clearly triggered Namjoon attention, because he came close too

"ye-what-ye sure. I'm sorry, I must be a bit tired. Hi, Namjoon-ah"

Hoseok smiles at him, but Taehyung makes a weird face at the other man

Well, they clearly knew each other enough to drop some honorifics

Probably wasn't the first time Namjoon came instead of his parents to school stuff like this, Hoseok always knew he was a good big brother

"You did great" the young man says, to which Taehyung smiles a little. Namjoon walks over them but doesn't stop, heading towards the door

"I gotta go now, Hoseok-ssi, see you Tuesday. Tae, see you around"

"Watch your steps" both Tae and Hoseok say, which surprised them, but proved them right when Namjoon bumped into a desk

Then it was only them. And Tae knew it's gonna be awkward really soon.

"so, how you know him?" He asks. Oh, Jungkook babysitter. Makes sense

"and you?"

Taehyung makes a weird face, half displeasure.

"I'll tell you in the parking lot, I'll feel less irresponsible if I'm not at work"

Hoseok felt he has to decline and go straight home

Also stop asking about the private life of his kid's teacher and babysitter

Because that was none of his business

But he was a nice person and nice people listen to what others have to say, right?

clara/sugarplum fairy: sakuya. i want to see him go through a costume & hair transformation sequence, not gonna lie.

nutcracker/prince eric: juza. obviously he has to be the ruler of the land of sweets.

mouse king: sakyo or chikage. i want one of them to wave around a sceptre and say quotes like “i’ll reduce the Nutcracker to a pile of splinters"

pimm: taichi... pimm is a spy :O who has to do dirty work :O but the real reason is i just want taichi to follow around sakyo again or maybe even chikage this time lol

major mint & captain candy: tsuzuru and citron respectively. mint is pretty serious and awkward, candy is a lot friendlier- i just think it’ll be a good way to insert some humor in the play

𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐞: mixed troupe! summer x autumn.

𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭: rapunzel in this one actually is the “servant” of gothel. also, rapunzel has a magical paint brush and also there’s dragons. who are purple.

rapunzel: kazunari. obviously. actually, kazu has a lot of similarities with her: a good artist, patient, adventurous, quick thinking, hardly ever complains- also he’d look good with long hair i think ><

gothel: omi. there is an action fighto scene + also just the theme of omi playing villains lol... also THERE’S A SCENE WHERE GOTHEL PRETENDS TO BE RAPUNZEL BY WEARING A LONG WIG AND BOI- KAZU AND OMI’S BODY BUILDS ARE SO DIFFERENT BUT IT’D BE FUNNY IF THE PRINCE FALLS FOR THE TRAP ANYWAY

penelope: kumon. a PURPLE funny and clumsy dragon- fight me, the only answer is kumon especially once you see who’s next.

I’m happy to read that I wasn’t the only one who found it awkward. I enjoyed watching their reactions to trying to figure out what they were trying to make. Tae didn’t look interested and Jungkook just looked lost lol it was quite funny. I’m a kindergarten teacher so art class is always fun and this is what it reminded me of. If they don’t have clear direction and left on their own they go through many emotions spoken through their eyes and expressions

Okay I’ve watched it now and I think it is a little awkward. a lot of long silences and awkward eye contact, I don’t know.. once they got more into their crafts and started playing music it got less painful to watch.

I think the vlive came off as awkward cuz jk obviously was shy like he was soo engrossed in his work n also understandable cuz the man hasnt done sole vlive for a year now. And V kinda stays quiet these days n hes not that chaotic anymore.... so u think it got a little awkward.

They were both acting awkward, but as I said in my previous asks, there’s a lot of pressure with a livestream that will be watched by millions of people, so I kind of get it.

Listen the vlive was cute especially when ugh started playing but tk just don't have "it". Like shipping aside compare it to the other paired vlives, I get it that jk was focus on his flower but tae was free to start any conversation or something, his solo vlive he was doing so good singing and talking to armys really love his FM shows, but here it was just :/ not trying to start a war, I'm just being honest.

lol I actually didn't think the vlive was awkward maybe a little in the beginning it was just that they didn't seem to have much natural chemistry and rapport so it was kind of bland and boring

Yeah, it was awkward compared to the other member’s recent vlives. I think they felt awkward for whatever reason.

I started watching the Vlive too and Tae and JK are so chill and slow and calm and awkward that it feels like a minute equals five, I can't stop laughing. They're so cute though, I don't mean it in a negative way. :)

These are my thoughts.

Pt. 1 Everyone thinks that one must dislike Tae or Kook to believe they aren't super close. I believe they love and appreciate each other no doubt but their dynamic has been awkward since 2016 imo. Every time they are alone together it feels uncomfortable. I See this in BVs3 when they share the same room, Vlives etc. I don't claim to know why, I have opinions but won't elaborate much in anon, but their discomfort is undeniably felt. Pt. 2 There have been people in my friend circles that vibe well with me in group but alone we seem to have very little to say to each other and it's awkward. I've grown apart from ppl that once upon a time used to be my close friends but when we tried to reconnect discomfort was apparent. This isn't to say I hated these people, contrary i liked them but no longer vibed with them and it took a group to make our interactions less awkward.

This is the nature of growing up with people. I always see people saying they are super closer and I feel guilty for disagreeing. They are close in the familial sense but in the chemistry sense I don't see it and haven't seen it since 2015. I know a lot of ppl feel the same but are scared of being attacked for saying it because saying anything against tk makes one an anti. But simply put, we feel their discomfort not because they are hiding a secret love imo but because they are uncomfort

They were extremely close in early BTS days, and I think people grow and change. Not to say I don’t think they’re close anymore because that is by no means my place to say, but it did seem that they were kind of awkward interacting with each other.

And it could be the added dynamic of being so heavily and aggressively shipped by your fans and having every moment over sexualized- that would make me feel a bit cautious of what i do on or say camera with them as well.

Girl, even taekookers themselves noticed how awkward they were 💀 Search "taekook awkward" on Twitter and you'll see. The delulu ones blame the staff for the awkwardness

dont you think jungkook is awkward during lives with any member tho? i think the only time he wasnt awkward was during jikook's vlive in december 2017 before the wings tour finale. in ot7s lives he's okay but now with one other member.

I don’t think he’s awkward in every vlive. This one stuck out to me as awkward, but no other vlive (besides that one where Jimin was sitting on the bed, which was awkward in a different way) felt awkward. In my opinion.
