Headcanon that Herrah can't remember Quirrel's name, just that it starts with a Q. So she just calls him whatever Q-name comes into her head.

Various disjointed au Lurien doodles, more on his story below the drawings :3
Lurien! Lurien. Look at this pathetic creature. This beast. He's not doing so well in this au! Once Hornet unwound the seals and the dreamers woke up, Herrah and Monomon, sensibly, didn't go very far from their resting places. Not only were they too tired to do much after being asleep for thirty-some years, but they were wary of the unfamiliar state of the outside world.
Lurien however, was quick to descend (fall down several flights of stairs of) his tower, frantic and distraught. His third eye, mark of his god and once full of soul, was blind. He knew that meant his king was gone, dead or so far away he could not reach. And so he fled, darting among lazy, infected husks and fumbling his way down into the waterways, somewhere dark, away from the lingering infection above.
He was exceedingly difficult to track down when people went looking for him, he himself still wearing his mask and rendering him blind with his functional eyes hidden behind the thing. When he was finally found, he was in no state to communicate, or even approach. Herrah was the only one able to calm him enough to get nearby without risking a limb to whatever makeshift weapon he was trudging around in the sewage with, but even when force was used he refused to leave the place.
So they just sort of.. left him there. Herrah tracks him down a few times a month to make sure he's not starved himself. Over time he became a sort of local cryptid tale among the bugs who worked in the waterways, a slender figure standing ominously at the ends of dark tunnels, a soggy mess of wet fabrics and a mask tumbling from some unseen ledge above, Lurien was decidedly beyond saving, at least to those who thought to try.

has anyone else thought at least once that there should be fics where the white lady divorces the pale king and marries herrah. theyre close friends in a ton of fics but i think they should just elope and raise their children without PK. they work together to snatch the pure vessel when theyre still young so they can grow up properly with hornet
and with the white lady also in a high ruling position in deepnest, PK has absolutely zero chance of colonizing deepnest. they can be on peaceful terms, but they will always remain seperate kingdoms
idk i just think itd be neat. just a bit
i dont know what happens with the radiance but maybe uh. she just admitted defeat due to how funny watching the wyrm having to officiate, as king, his own divorce was
