I have many hoyas getting ready to bloom! Very exciting! The rangsan has 8 peduncles forming so far and it'll be it's first flowers ever so I'm really looking forward to them

Just postin' some of the hoyas that have flowered for me in the past few years

In order: hoya retusa, obovata, pachyclada, multiflora, shepherdii, bella, sunrise, and krohniana.

The neat thing about hoya flowers is that they all smell different! krohniana smells like cinnamon. Bella smells like sunscreen. Pachyclada smells lemony. It's such a cool genus of plants!

🌼⭐Og Akira’s name was originally Star Vossen A spoiled, bratty 15 yo noble who refused to wear shoes. For an rp group where the characters were bugs and flowers. Star was a hoya bella. She had lost her mother from a war as a child and her father spoiled her (c.2015)

👾Star 2.0 aged up to 18 and thrown into a VR/gamer rp group. No longer a flower alien, just a human. Star 2.0 was a popular streamer with agoraphobia which Star developed after her and her mom were in a car accident that her mom didn’t survive, leading to her dad spoiling her. Also still hated wearing shoes (c.2016)

🌸Star 3.0 aged back down for a Japanese high school setting. She still keeps her popular streamer persona and views her outside life like a video game, but finally puts on shoes lol Star is a goody goody and a perfectionist who never hesitates to boss people around. She still loses her mom in a car accident in this version, but is raised by her step-dad. Star gets another update to her design in this setting before the setting itself gets its own redesign (c.2017)

✨Now named Matsuoka Akira, her backstory is that she was a child actor who did a few ads and even was a star role in a short series that was cancelled after one season. After her shows cancelation, Akira takes a break from acting to explore any other interests she may have, though after moving to a new city comes back around to acting. No longer raised by a widowed father, Akira is raised by her single mother, Momoka, after her boyfriend left her. Momoka’s parents help with raising Akira, all of whom spoiled Akira. When her and her mother move to a new city, Akira quickly learns how much she hates being alone. Even more so when Momoka’s new job keeps her away from home most days. Akira still carries her self-centered characteristics but also finds herself constantly seeking attention. Akira undergoes another design update as she becomes a 3rd year/ older, pursing a career in acting once again. (c.2020-2021)

as a human, sushi. as a dragon, fish and fruit!

5) are you social?

as a human, no, absolutely not. i am very asocial and really only enjoy the company of a few people. as a dragon though, i feel very social. i love cuddling and making friends with other animals a lot :)

14) describe features that you don't know the evolutionary purpose of.

i can't think of any, honestly. my tail looks a little silly on me, but i feel right with it.

18) what plant(s) do you feel most connected to?

willow trees at absolute number one. they mean so very much to me. at a close second is moss and lotus tied, and i also very much enjoy ivy, string of pearls, and hoya bella :)
