“Robbie, would you like something to drink?”

The zombie sat at the table, gingerly tracing the line of a leaf in the plant pot on the table in front of him. He slowly raised his head to look at the magician, who was boiling a pot of water on the stove.

“In… life I… used to drink… hot chocolate…”

Marvin’s eyes brightened as he pulled a mug out of the cupboard.

“I can make you hot chocolate! I have a spell I’ve been working on, would you like to try it?”

“Spell…? What… kind of… spell…?” Robbie asked, finger pausing on the plant leaf.

Marvin grinned, pouring hot water into the mug and circling his hand over it.

“A spell to add essences of flavours to food,” he replied, mumbling a spell to himself.

Robbie watched as a purple glow emanated from the mug.

When it dissolved, Marvin brought the drink to the zombie, sitting opposite him at the table and taking a sip from his coffee.

“I hope you like it. You like plums.” It was more of a statement than a question, but Robbie nodded nonetheless.

He took a hesitant sip from the rich liquid, lip twitching as a strange flavour touched his tongue.

“Well? Any good?”

What’s going on? JJ slid into the seat beside Robbie, signing his question as the zombie passed his mug over.

“I’m testing a new spell on Robbie’s hot chocolate,” the magician replied, watching the dapper man drink from the cup with expectation.

What flavour was this meant to be? Marvin’s face fell as JJ pushed the mug away.

“Plum…”

It doesn’t taste like plums…

Day 3 of yuletube prompts from @huffletrax! This time the prompt was scarf so i used mini nach henrik (who belongs to @leobashi. Go there to find more mini nach context its fabulous, hes a fabulous tiny boi) and changed up his normal grey(or blue, it changed at some point) scarf for a more festive looking one and gave boi a lil nest!

A Combination of Egotober Day 4 & 6

Summary: Instead of Techno telling the story of Theseus and releasing the Withers on what remains of L'Manburg. Tommy confronts Techno and is the one who told the story of Theseus and with one final look he asked Techno the question that’s been plaguing his mind for weeks.

“Let me ask you something, Technoblade. If I’m Theseus then what does that make you? Are you the Minotaur that I’m supposed to slay or are you the King who winds up killing me?”

The Battle of L’Manburg

(Battlefield)

It was gone! It was all gone! A crater of where L’Manburg once stood, with water at the bottom flowing in from the River. The smell of smoke and gunpowder were in the air. Tommy couldn’t tell if the screaming came from him or the people around him. All he could hear was screaming and then seeing his brother being killed by the man that he once saw as a father figure.

“NO!!!! This - this can’t! This can’t be happening! This can’t be happening! Not when we were so close! Wilbur!!!”

All Tommy could think about was finding Tubbo and getting him outta here! Getting everyone outta here! Tommy ran as fast as he could, calling out Tubbo. Tommy found Tubbo at the mercy of Technoblade.

“Technoblade!” Tommy started.

“I didn’t spend weeks giving you guys gear and planning this Revolution just for you to take the Country from one Tyrant to hand over to another Tyrant.”

“Technoblade don’t do this!” Tommy tried to reason.

“You think Schlatt was the problem? The problem wasn’t Schlatt, it's the government! Government corrupts!”

“Technoblade!” Tommy tried one more time to gain the Anarchist attention.

“Don’t you see history repeating itself?!”

“Yeah, I do!” That got Technoblade’s attention. “I do see history repeating itself! But it’s not the kind that you think that is!”

Technoblade stared at Tommy as if he just saw him for the first time. There’s a type of fiery passion burning in those icy blue eyes that he hasn’t seen since before Pogtopia. Tommy stood there with his head held high, and weapons and shield held at the ready. It looked as if Tommy was readying himself for one Final Battle.

“You know Technoblade,” Tommy said, gaining everyone’s attention. “You used to tell me stories about Heroes, Greek Heroes, in particular. Especially back in Pogtopia during those sleepless nights.”

Technoblade remembered. He remembered coming to visit and Tommy wanting Technoblade to tell him bedtime stories. So, Technoblade told Tommy about the Greeks, the Mythology and the Heroes. There was one story in particular that Tommy loved so much.

Oh. OH!!

“There’s one that was my absolute favorite! You even gave me the nickname. Theseus? Theseus’s Country was in parallel, so he took it upon himself to go over to the enemy’s territory and slay the Minotaur. His Country regarded him as a hero! But then they Exile him for a crime he committed. With no home and no one where to go he refuged in a nearby Country. Only to be betrayed by the King of that Country, King Lycomedes. King Lycomedes threw Theseus off the cliff.”

Tommy, with his armor in place, sword in one hand and shield in the other, walked towards Technoblade. Walking into Enemy Territory.

“So I have a question for you, Technoblade. This Crater is very deep and has water flowing at the bottom of it. It can be like a cliff, couldn’t it?” Technoblade's eyes widened as relation started to kick in.

“If I'm Theseus, Technoblade, then what role are you? Are you, Technoblade, the Minotaur that I’m supposed to slay? Or are you King Lycomedes, who will end the story of Theseus?"

I said this in a private chat between friends but I’ll say it here too:

The day that there is absolutely zero ego content in the tag is the day that they truly die. I still see people making and creating fantastic things with them even without a lot of input from Sean. That’s an encouraging and still a very pleasant thing to see as it shows that there is still a lot of love for these characters without the need of constant updates.

From what I’ve seen in the tags in the last few months, no one is pestering him since he said that he’s putting that sort of content on pause until he feels ready to pick it up again. People are just vibing, taking the egos and placing them in AUs and stories as we get on with life. Are people over analysing stuff? Maybe. I haven’t seen it much myself. But in the grand scheme of things is it hurting anyone really? People can scroll on by without being pissy about it. The world is in a shitty place with this poxy pandemic among other things, having a bit of fun with with these characters isn’t gonna be the end of the world.

I remember the times we overanalyzed stuff and Jack himself had to step in and tell us a "hint" was actually nothing.

We freaked out so often b/c of what we wanted to see, we wanted more of anything new, and even back then I wondered if us "jumping at shadows" could potentially drive Jack away from doing ego-related things, period.

Our own expectations were too high, too much outside pressure.

...

I don't think fan-made content with the egos is going anywhere, and that I still love seeing and supporting those creations too.

Shortly after I joined Tumblr. Which was on the second day of the Who Killed Markiplier? journey, back in 2017 :’) but yeah, quickly fell in love and was in for a ride with the birth of JJ a few weeks later xD

14: Random headcanon for an ego?

Anti is very fidgety and cannot sit still for the life of him. Always twiddling his fingers or something like that. The thought of standing completely still for longer than like five seconds appalls him.

17: Do you warm your hands over the community fires or burn in them?

Depends, honestly xD if Seán like completely flips the tables on us, I’ll burn, but if it’s just a gentle nudge, I’ll observe ^^

15 months was a masterpiece! Without saying a word, Sean conveyed the impact of isolation, anxiety, doubt, defiance and hope. It was outstanding!

It was!!

I watched it with my mum, and she sat trying to analyse what it was about the whole time.

I almost cried at the scene where he was watching an old Reading Comments video, because there was so much to unpack in that one clip.

Let me know if you want me to dissect it, I don’t want to flood you with it.
