sometimes think about how the hell dallas & ian ended up being #1 zukka endorsers like did netflix encouraged/adviced them to in some ways or they just came to netflix HQ one day with a 57 slides presentation and a thick ass thesis and was like "guys, guys, hear us out—"
sorry for being delusional but I don’t believe that house was (exclusively) referring to wilson’s ‘I should’ve been more like you’ monologue here. hear me out. what wilson said was scathing. it was cruel - not that it wasn’t understandable, given the circumstances, but STILL: there was nothing ‘bromantic’ about it, just as there is nothing overly schmaltzy about apologising for harsh remarks. how exactly is it sentimental to say “Sorry I told you that you deserve cancer”? house is witty. he could find 100 ways to say “I don’t want to discuss this right now.” but he specifically chooses to imply that they’re about to address something lovey-dovey. it’s almost like… wilson, in his delirium, confessed to something else. something that really IS bromantic, something that house REALLY doesn’t want to address because it would bring an onslaught of emotio[succumbs to the brainrot]
headcanon that house once dressed up in a cheerleaders outfit and did a performance of “mickey” by toni basil as a ‘joke’ to embarrass wilson in front of others at the hospital, and he uses some of his actual cheer skills he picked up in college (though it’s still limited bc his leg obvs)
extra points if this is when they’re both still repressing their homosexual thoughts for each other, and wilson thinks it’s normal to think so much abt house in the cheer uniform (and house thinks it’s normal that he didn’t even have to think twice abt dressing up to fluster wilson)
Colin doesn't want to be a spokesperson, and honestly I get him. He doesn't want to be a trailblazer or an example of bravery. He just wants to be normal, that his life is considered as normal as his colleagues, that is not remarkable that he kisses a bloke when someone else kisses a girl. He just wants to be allowed to live his life as openly as the rest of the team.
The perfect spokesperon here would be none other than Jamie, because he would just be brazenly upfront and use the same expression he used on Roy when asking if he'd never been to Amsterdam. He'd stare at the journalist and say, "what you mean why I kissed my coach? I kissed him because I wanted to celebrate with him we just won, and because I wanted to kiss him and I like kissing him, you got a problem?"
Jamie just freed himself from the toxic bullshit his father pushed onto him, he's not letting anyone tell him how to live his life, thank you very much.
And of course nobody would have a problem, because there is the "coach" glaring at them with thunder eyebrows, and they are not that brave.
