Do you have a favourite tea to drink and relax to? Mind to share?
"Let's see... my collection includes... jasmine, green tea, a blend of black and calendula tea, buttercup pea flower tea, apple tea..."
"Recently I've started enjoying a blend of cold earl grey and fruit syrup. It makes an amazing, refreshing drink. I usually drink it in my bath, though. It's too cold to drink when I'm not warmed up."
"...Ah! I also have a collection of other blends from Brian. He is an avid tea enjoyer, too."

Sokka:It's so unfair that you, Aang, and Toph have all gotten wanted posters, and I haven't
Zuko: I technically got 2, but why are you bothering over it now? We're no longer enemies of the fire nation
Sokka: It's the principle of it, and plus, I feel underappreciated. Wait what do you mean you had 2?
Zuko: That's unimportant, *thinks to himself for a moment*, what if I made one for you now, I'll even give you a bigger bounty than Aang with a cool nickname added on to it for you. Would that make you happy?
Sokka *tearing up*: You truly do care about me
Zuko: Great, when you leave the fire nation, I'll release it and have it circulate for a few weeks, then call it back so that you're not constantly being hounded and chased by bounty hunters.

Actually, I think Elain and Lucien have a cottage right smack bang in the point where Summer, Autumn and Spring join up. And the house is split into thirds, each being affected by the different seasons. The Autumn side it all reds, oranges, dark woods and dead leaves. The Spring side is all green, blooming flowers and smelling of sweet new beds. And the Summer side is all white and smells like tropical fruit.
And they live there and Elain has a garden split into three that wraps around the entire house, they have a wrap around porch and three sets of rocking chairs at each season depending on where they want to sit at sunset. All the sunsets look different in each seasonal sky.
And they have three dogs that continuously run around the house, delighted by the changes in season, and a cat that sits contently on Elain's lap.
And they just wake up stress free every lazy morning, and have walks through each season. And sometimes they travel to different continents, and other Courts to explore and visit their friends, but ultimately they go home to their little secluded spot where it's just them and their happy little world.

Headcanon that Seven of Nine and Naomi actually find Neelix’s cooking to be fine because it’s the only food they’ve ever eaten/their first introduction to food and when they get to Earth everyone’s so excited to show them Alpha quadrant foods but neither of them likes anything they’re offered very much. Seven doesn’t really care either way except that she has to get used to a whole new palette and Naomi likes the obvious (Ex: candy, cake) but frequently complains that nothing tastes ‘right’.
Naomi: -pushing away a slice of pizza- I don’t like it...
Tom: You’re kidding me. You don’t like pizza?
Naomi: It doesn’t taste right! Make it how Neelix used to.
Tom: You want me to put gerhalorian beets and yuk mushrooms in the sauce so it congeals into a lumpy, slightly sour mess? Is that what you want, Naomi?
Naomi: Yeah :(
I want Naomi and Icheb to work tirelessly together on a side project for years until finally doing it - being able to communicate clearly with those in the Delta quadrant! Icheb uses it to speak to the other borg children (now adults) and Naomi immediately uses it to call Neelix and ask him to find the nearest time portal and toss a big box of leola root into it. She’s been craving it for years! No one told her the Alpha quadrant didn’t have leola root, she wouldn’t have gone otherwise!

hmm. thinking about how when the party goes into Aubrey's bedroom on One Day Left and she finally apologizes, Kel's immediate reaction is to apologize to her in return. and also thinking about how Aubrey always targets Kel in physical combat but also in her verbal accusations (Aubrey's dialogue upon winning in the church fight is "serves you right, Kel" and she doesn't seem nearly as mad at Sunny despite him actually slashing her with a knife). i know the common fandom perception is that Kel and Aubrey simply drifted apart after Mari died, but... i think it's very likely that something actively bad happened between them, but neither one of them wants to bring it up again. and i definitely feel like Kel secretly blamed himself for Aubrey's downward spiral.

What was garak like as castellan? (ps your art is 💞💕❤️❤️💕💞💕❤️💕💞💕)
OOHOHO GARAK AS CASTELLAN....
I think his time in the Federation has, despite his best efforts, affected his outlook on politics. He's a wary centrist now, as if Cardassia has the luxury of political discourse not related to basic sustenance.... trying to delicately excise the most distasteful parts of the prior totalitarian regime while still supporting the structures that keep people alive.
I don't think there's a way to be a well-liked leader after an annihilative disaster, honestly. Garak's not an exception. He's NOT a popular Castellan, but he WAS the least bad choice immediately on hand, and he's adept at securing badly needed aid from Federated interests. He can be very persuasive and diplomatic, and he circumvents or cuts through the bureaucratic and political obstacles that would've trapped less canny men. He's in power during the setting of the foundation of the Cardassian economic miracle and he stalwartly weathers years of vicious criticism and assassination attempts (that he easily evades). As soon as he retires his approval rating goes from like 15% to 80%. He's the Grandfather of Cardassia, their mercurial constant, their deviously bitchy figurehead who can hold his own against any rival leader. The wily old regnar who raised a generation of hungry utopian statesmen. A Castellan to be privately eviscerated and publicly saluted.
Mostly he's just trying to go home at some point during the night to quietly whisper 'good-night' to his kids and husband, though

there's a fifteen hour time difference, and her phone was on do not disturb. not that picking up right away would have changed anything. what's gone has already been leaving, a dinner table an ocean away, tired eyes slowly drifting away and names gradually slipping out of the grasp of wrinkled hands, rough from decades of putting food on the table.
last summer, i sat next to ah-ma in her wheelchair and helped her cut sashimi into smaller pieces. she used to take her bike out every day and bring back chelunbing for us. i swear up and down nothing else will ever taste as good. she always said it was a secret where she bought them from. they probably closed down years ago, but i guess i'll never know now.
we piled into the taxi while ah-ma was taking her afternoon nap. my ma's eyes were red, but i politely pretended not to notice. i didn't ask why she didn't wake her. it's easier this way, because it's a twelve hour flight and at least twelve months before she could return. it's easier this way, because the relief when ah-ma said our names correctly was too sharp, serrated on the edge of not knowing if she will remember the next time.
there's a fifteen hour time difference, and the funeral is in two weeks. what's gone will never return with sweets in her basket, but the warmth of her palms linger.

Hey! You're been one of my favorite blogs ever for a long time! 💖
I could be mistaken but I believe you had an ask or a post long ago where you recommended some poets / poetry books. I can't seem to find it though. Will you please direct me to it if there's such a thing or even write out some recommendations if it isn't too much trouble? I'm planning on ordering some books and I was looking forward to maybe getting some poetry and you seem like the best guide for it!
First of all thank you so much for your kind words, it means a lot to me🫀
(this is my answer about italian authors)
I'm currently on my lunch break in a very crowded place, I swear I'm gonna try my best to remember (most of) the poets I love:
Louise Glück, Margaret Atwood, Sharon Olds, Emily Dickinson, Ada Limón, Li-Young Lee, Forugh Farrokhzad, Mahmoud Darwish, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Mary Oliver, Alice Walker, Frank O'Hara, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Stevie Smith, Carol Ann Duffy, Fernando Pessoa, Anne Carson, T. S. Eliot and of course the romantic poets✨the Big Six✨ introduced me to poetry from other countries when I was like 12. I remember that at school we -of course- studied italian romantic poets (my professor was OBSESSED with Alessandro Manzoni) but she only mentioned Sturm und Drang (that was before the actual romantic movement, like a proto-romantic with a lot of similar ideals) and other countries romantic era. I was so pissed that I think I've read everything about it lol I'm also very lucky because I live in Rome, and I went to the Keats-Shelley memorial house as soon as I could. I also think that no one wanted to know this story, I'm sorry.
By the way my suggestion is: since buy books can be very expensive (especially if you are like me, I basically only buy physical books and that's the main reason why I ended up with books in my wardrobe and under my bed) and if you are new to poetry, try to read something online and then if you like the author you can buy a collection of his/hers/theirs works; like for example Devotions by Mary Oliver, maybe it's not complete but it's such a good start!
I hope that this can help you, and please ignore my ramblings🫀
