Played fuckin D1 rugby players today (we are D3 for the record) and for the entire 30 minutes I was on the field they did not score. Neither did we, mind, but while I was with the pack those fucks did not score and that's what matters.

One thing that stands out to me about MSP is that there are no filler scenes. Everything that happens shows us something meaningful about the characters and/or drives the plot forward. The full runtime of each episode feels like it’s being properly utilized.

Discord message to my friend for example:

His name in the manga is Kishin which.. I always thought was more of a title or what he is (a demon/oni) than anything (kind of like the french translation of it just means "Demon God" so I take it more as a description).

So I decided to shake it up a bit for his name, and settled on Ko'jin: a bit of play on "Little God" in Termina's language for my au (but also being a play on "child" and "benevolence" respectively in japanese).

Here's a couple other names he could've gotten!

I messaged both my friends at the time asking the same thing, before I moved onto Ko'jin/Ki'jin a few days later. Ko'dai was vaguely based off yokai but not by much.
