your brother, pierre, just rolls his eyes with a chuckle. “maybe don’t be mean to us” he shrugs as he helps esteban with his bass.

“what happen with karting?”

“we still do that but with the way max keeps winning every single race we wanted to try and dabble into something we are passionate about” charles answers looking at you with a smile. you nod in understanding.

“you guys are pretty good a making music, so do you guys think you’ll make it big?” you ask curiously. all three boys look at each other with the same idea in mind.

“yes” they all say with certainty.

he shakes his head with a sigh, making his way into the circle once you finish the last cup.

“the problem is that you don’t understand how serious drugs and alcohol can be!” the veins on his forehead and neck look like they are about to burst from the sheer amount of anger running through his body. you can only scoff in response.

“i’m young charlie! im only 22 and it’s nothing serious!”

“YES IT IS!” you flinch at his tone. charles seems this and sighs, walking closer to you and taking your hands in his own.

“baby…i’m not saying you can’t have fun but the drugs isn’t needed to have fun..please just stop”

2022

to say charles was freaking out was an understatement, he was terrified. he didn’t understand what happen with you, you were doing so much better than last year. you weren’t partying as much and he knew you stopped drinking but he didn’t know you were still doing some type of drug.

pulling up to the hospital, charles didn’t care if his parking job was decent, the only thing on his mind was you.

“how’s y/n?” charles breaths out as he makes his way to the waiting room to meet your brother. pierre had tears in his eyes and his cheeks were puffy.

“..they..t-they said it’s not looking good” pierre breaks down, charles moves forward and pulls his best friend into a hug, trying hard to keep his own tears from flowing.

“it’s okay..it’s gonna be okay..”charles whispers, not even believing his own words.

Little fact about Silverwind's beginnings... while Castor knew Atlas from the start, he actually didn't know Quinn until the day they all formed their team. This was because Atlas didn't want it getting out that Quinn was helping him with his heists, which would destroy her future- something he wanted to secure with the money he was making. So Quinn stayed in hiding most of the time, though she'd occasionally go into town to buy a few necessities. Castor vaguely remembered seeing her in the library a few times, but didn't really know anything about her or her connection to Atlas.

When they form their team, he wants to earn her trust and bond with her, partly to ease any awkwardness in the team dynamic, but also because he did genuinely like and care about Atlas and wanted to get to know his family.

Unfortunately, Quinn has... a hard time trusting anybody and doesn't like talking to anyone except Atlas. Not even Atlas's friends... especially not Atlas's friends.

Eventually, Castor does break down Quinn's barriers and becomes a good adult figure for her, the two bond over their common interest in literature and legend and he acts as a mentor for her. She looks at him today and wonders why she ever felt afraid of him, with how goofy he can be.

Baby boy brother birthday photos from last year that I just realized I never uploaded!

#cats #also hopefully it's not weird to still post photos of George (the brown cat) even after his death a little while ago. I just have so many #beautiful old pictures of him that I still love but just never had the time to sort through or upload (my cat photos folder on my #computer had like 450 pictures in it or something lol... SO many). I feel like it's kind of just honoring or appreciating him #and not actually strange or anything. like what am I supposed to do. delete them?? I want to share them still because he is beautiful and #perfect ! idk. aNYWAY. Also this is their 2022 birthday when they turned 14 years old. (even though I think when I posted #their 2021 bday I might have said they were 14 then too. I was off by a year lol). 2023 when they turned 15 I unfortunately #was feeling kind of sick at the time and didn't really have the energy to do the decorations like I usually do. So they just got a few #treats and stuff. But I didn't know that would be george's last birthday lol. :/#They also do not really know or care though. they're cats who cannot process it or know the concept of birthdays so. eh #I still have no idea how these got lost on the computer though. what the heck, TIL it's wildly affordable to rent out an entire movie theater. seeing prices between $100-500 depending on the size, location, and whether you want to watch a current movie. you can apparently hook up video game systems, too, and have a giant mario party night with your friends or something.

idk why I thought it'd be like $1000 minimum or something... like if you're going with enough people, it could even be cheaper to see a private screening than to all get tickets...

I saw one person say that every year they have a Christmas party with their friends and family and they rent out a theater to watch a Christmas movie. they all bring Christmas snacks and the theater is like $100 total. that's wild to me.

#I tend to see movies on off-times when I can because I hate how often people talk and use cell phones these days #I can't concentrate on anything or hear what the characters are saying when people do that #the idea of being able to rent out an entire theater when you want to see a movie is like...#that's what I would do if I were a billionaire lmao fuck buying twitter or whatever #just sit there in the middle of an empty theater like nicole kidman #I bet then you could have them put on the closed captioning too #The Dream #have a halloween party where I just rent out a theater with all of my friends and force them to watch paranorman #or having a universal monsters movie marathon or something #so freaking fun #I love going to the movies lmao
