I do wish that some people would engage more with some of the sadder thematic elements of Artificer's campaign, but maybe that's mostly cause I don't see her really getting a happy end ever for herself. Its a very human story to tell with otherwise very animal-y animals.

It's one part grief and one part blind revenge, but i think the fact that the event that set her on that course is strong enough that they're implied to be getting repeated nightmares about it very interesting... They're /locked/ at the karma representing wrath, and even the best intentional act of mercy you can execute in game (Not killing the scavenger king) isn't enough to escape. She literally /can't/ meaningfully escape from her own anger. In game you can never naturally raise it high enough to ascend. Her ending in the void sea where she just dissolves... I assume on some level that's just a reset for her. Gonna wake back up again.

#animals do have grief and trauma i should note #revenge is a little outside of their general behaviors but trauma and grief are fully there #but its still something conceptually thought of as a little more human #behaviors that are actually what we would call 'revenge' is mostly seen in monkeys #Ive done some jokingly 'i hope she gets worse' art and honestly i think thats how it would be. I headcanon he wouldn't really go for a shy, submissive character who immediately gives themselves to him. Raksha herself piqued his attention because he's a narcissist and saw himself in her because they have a similar personality and interests (and who initially outright snobs him).

Before even meeting him she was a holy paladin who rose to fame/is known for the killcount during her raids in Avernus - which does include devils. And yes, the fact she is who she is just adds further salt to the wound for Raphael, being in love with a mortal wasn't enough :D

Let alone if said tiefling has some really suspicious ancestry...

I really want to try and see if I can write him in a romantic relationship in which he views his partner as an equal - if at first because of identification, later because she has her own personality and refuses to bend to his every wish/his trying to outright mold her into being even more like him. They *are* soft and kind of saccharine with each other, yes - but her softness doesn't translate to submissiveness is what I'm saying.

... Plus knowing them the whole altercation mentioned earlier probably ended in angry rough s3x 💀

Our Kazutora is quite strong and I feel like he can easily beat the little Haitani.Baji will defeat Ran Haitani very easily because he is Baji Keisuke. Also Baji's hair is more beautiful and healthy. Also, MY GOD. Takemichi and Taiju will face off again, this time as Toman's second leader. But what if Takemichi knows how to fight in this future? Could Mikey have taught him to fight? After all, Takemichide is the 2nd leader and Toman is now in charge of him. He has to learn to fight. Even when he didn't know how to fight, he had Taiju on his knees. What if he knows how to fight now and turns Taiju into a smashed piece of shit? I'm excitedly waiting for what's to come. Yeah this seems accurate! Pretty cool fights too. As for my predictions I think Draken could beat Kakucho but that it wouldn't be so easy, I think they'd actually be pretty evenly matched (this is the Kakucho who beat Angry, was proclaimed strongest member of Tenjiku and trains by beating up yakuza).

Ahhh honestly most hyped for Kazutora and Baji vs the Haitani brothers (fingers crossed). I'd be interested to see if Baji and Kazutora actually try fighting them as a duo though, yes I think they could beat them easily if they split them up but I'd like to see what a Baji and Kazutora fighting duo looks like too.
