I think that Ravi takes the "no Q word" rule very, very seriously and makes sure to tell all the probies so they can learn before they make the same mistake

Ravi definitely had a lil hero worship with the 118 but the more he gets to know them he realizes I mean yeah, they're awesome, but they're just regular people and also he's not sure he necessarily wants to be on calls with them they seem to almost die a lot but he loves them and will never say no to a 118 barbecue, esp if Bobby is cooking

What are some other storytelling tropes or ideas that you love seeing in stories? Which ones do you enjoy including in your writing?

I loove these question!

Honestly, I really like the common tropes like found family, enemies to lovers etc., but since I finished watching the Legend of Korra, I must say, I became a huge fan of when the enemy teaches the hero something very useful/ help them in any way because their goals align at some point.

Also: long lost civilization gets very important in present day, tradition vs progression, fake chosen one? or MC not ending up being the chosen one, impossible to pronounce names (absolute fav), male characters despise each other then turning into almost brothers, entity or something beyond mortal undersanding, living buildings/cities/whole planets, mentor/wisest/oldest character acting like a single parent and mothers everyone instinctively and very slow burn romance. There's a lot more I think I love, but these are what came into my mind for now.

I tend to use probably almost everything I love in stories. However, what is definitely always comes up in my stuff is something beyond mortal understanding, tradition vs progression, male characters despise each other then turning into almost brothers and very slow burn romance. I also have an easier time to write from male povs for some reason, but I don't know why. I definitely want to improve to write from other ones too.

Side note: Ngl, everything Brandon ever used in his stories I just adore and love so very much, so when I found him it was like Christmas for me lmao.
