if you don’t know what miraculous ladybug is basically the two kids are superheroes and classmates irl but they don’t know the other is their superhero partner

first of all lloyd is ladybug and morro is chat noir

as classmates lloyd is always trying to befriend the lonely emo guy who sits in front of him

and morro is Not Having It

civilian morro is a lot more quiet and reserved compared to superhero morro

for the same reason as adrien (something something able to be his true self behind the mask of anonymity)

as superheroes morro is lowkey salty he wasn’t picked to be ladybug (green ninja parallels eheheuheheeh) and got stuck with what he thinks is essentially “the sidekick” title

so he’s always trying to one up lloyd (i haven’t thought of their hero names yet bear with me)

and lloyd thinks he’s really fucking annoying

like “i get you’re mad but i can’t do anything about it so can you stfu and carry out the fucking plan”

fu is wu of course (rhyming 😌😌)

wu is the old man who “gives them their superpowers” ig

mmmm garmadon is the logical choice for hawkmoth (hawkmoth is the villain by the way)

but lloyd??

in the show one of the superheros is the son of the villain

maybe it could be the overlord

HARUMI AS MAYURA

mayura is like,,, the villain sidekick

who gets a redemption arc 👀👀

i’m sticking with it garmadon as hawkmoth and harumi as mayura

none of that shippy shit going on with gabriel and natalie don’t be weird

and she’s mayura cause she’s desperate to prove herself worthy to be his daughter or something

over time the superheroes (STILL HAVE NOT THOUGHT OF NAMES) become the friends who always bitch and argue but have each other’s backs no matter what

they trust each other with their life (kinda have to what with the fighting and all)

as classmates it’s the stereotypical extrovert adopt introvert situation

of course lloyd is friends with the ninja

we’ve got the whole ninja friend group who are ALL loud and energetic as fuck (except for maybe zane but he has his moments)

so it’s more of an extrovert kidnaps introvert to hang out with more extroverts

i’m tormented by this question…

this is so hard to answer because i feel like this would first require them getting legally married which would require a proposal which would require them acknowledging that they’re together in the first place and in my head they literally don’t ever do that. they could move in together and wake up with each other every day for the next 10 years and i still don’t think they’d ever actually think of themselves as “being together.” like it exists objectively on a surface level in their minds but there aren’t any real labels for what they are to each other and they don’t stress themselves over trying to figure it out.

but in the event that they did say fuck it and go through all that legal binding business—i actually don’t think richie would take carmy’s last name. ik in the show richie doesn’t ever really talk about his heritage at all and constantly claims to be italian when he isn’t but i’d also like to think it isn’t necessarily his heritage he’s running away from, it’s just the berzatto family he’s trying to incorporate himself into, and if he were in a position where he had that sort of affirmation/validation (like through ~marriage~) then he wouldn’t find it necessary
