This happened a few days ago, but I'm still pissed off bout it.

I've told this to a few people and they didn't think I was over exaggeratin even though I feel like an absolute fuckin asshole cause of it.

My roommate, for the third time, has barged into my room WITHOUT knockin to see if I'm in there.

One time, I understand that it can be a mistake.

Second time, ok, dude, what the fuck? (I was also asleep durin this time as well as the first time cause of depression)

Third time, NOW it's just gettin really, really annoyin.

I could've been naked, changin or whatever and she'd could've seen me in a vulnerable position of distress cause of my bipolar. (Which, at THAT point, DON'T fuckin try to talk to me cause of it.)

I told her this after the third time to fuckin KNOCK BEFORE ENTERIN ANYONE'S ROOM.

She HATED it when her siblings did that to her, WHY do that to me?

Her reasonin?

“I wanted to know if you were home.”

THAT'S NO FUCKIN REASON TO GO INTO MY DAMN ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKIN

I lock my door now when I'm home and I shouldn't be doin that.

We're fuckin adults (she's 24 bout to be 25 in October and I'm goin to be 26 next month) and it should be fuckin courtesy to knock before enterin or even text me (which yes, I said in the upper paragraph that I don't want to be talk to if I'm goin through a mental breakdown or I just don't want to talk at all, but my point STILL fuckin stands.) I'm salty about how little love Mikey gets in the tmnt show and fandom

Ive seen a lot of love in the fandom, you gotta find all the Mikey fanartists and authors (and when you do, reblog their stuff so other Mikey lovers find them), heck, Mikey is my favorite!!

As for shows and movies, I swear he was allergic to character growth, except for the third orginal tmnt movie, loved that one, I need to rewatch it

However mutant mayhem gives me plenty of hope, and I hear he gets a lot of love from the comics

But seriously, you guys gotta look for other Mikey fans, surf through the tmnt mikey tag and see what blogs appear the most, go through the Michelangelo (tmnt) tag on ao3, and follow people! Or am I going to have to make you?” Then they start counting down, smirk getting goofier as you realise just how screwed you are, how much you wanted this.

Yes and no. The whole decision making in F1 and who has a say on what is so ridiculously complicated and I don't fully get it. So I had a little google to fill in the gaps but it really didn't help much but this is it anyway. If I'm chatting shit and someone knows better then please let me know!

So Domenicali is the president and CEO of Formula One Group which is owned by liberty media.

FOG is "responsible for the promotion of the FIA F1 world championship and the exercising of the sports commercial rights".

FOG is made up of a few companies one of which is Formula One Management (FOM).

FOM has the broadcasting, organisational and promotional rights of F1. And they structure the calendar. But the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC is part of the FIA) has the oversight.

The FIA sets and interprets the regulations for F1 and judges appeals and disputes.

And FOM/FOG, the FIA and the teams are all involved in decision making. I can't tell you if they are on equal terms or what because nobody seems to actually know. But they are all involved.

If we remember that recently there were articles about how FOM wants 6 sprint races next year and that the teams agreed and that the FIA said no. They said no because of money but they still said no.

So yes the teams have a say and the GDPA also matters but all of it is pretty complicated and I assume that unless all of the teams and drivers are on the same page they have the least influence.

I honestly assume that his proposal to have only one practice session and everything else awarding points to be like a tactical thing. So he proposes something slightly insane to get everyone to then agree to the compromise which would be like a sprint race every weekend or something like that.

I've been on a bit ob a Russell Crowe movie binge in the past few weeks and since he is almost sixty now, many of the movies I've watched were consequently older movies. and when I watched them, it struck me again, how much hollywood has changed in the last few decades when it comes to depicting men.

take Gladiator for example from the year 2000. Russell Crowe plays basically an action hero in it. he is a big, muscly dude, who is very strong and uses that strength to defeat his enemies. and this is what he looks like:

in the same year, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine looked like this in the first X-men movie:

in 2013 the same character played by the same actor looked like this:

it's a bit much, isn't it? I mean, he looks so skinny.

and if we go even further back: look at what the womanizer character Face from the A-team looked like in the 80s show vs the 2010 movie reboot:

maybe the difference isn't that big but it really startled me when I watched that movie for the first time. in my mind there was no reason why Face should be particularly muscular since he is the charming one not the one known for being particularly strong.

if we go even further back, look at the charmin womanizer character Hawkeye in M*A*S*H from the 70's.

I know he's a doctor and there is no reason for him to be ripped but I got the feeling if they did the show now, he would be.

I don't know what my point really is I'm just saying I got a bit nostalgic when watching these men. I cannot be the only one who'd rather see more of this:

also, as a sidenote: Russell Crowe gained a lot of weight for the nice guys and he is a fucking powerhouse in that film, like, when he punches someone, you really feel it because of the weight that is behind it and the shere mass of his body.

(even if this may look different, he's about to break Ryan Gosling's character's arm. I couldn't find a gif of him punching someone but I swear it looks painfull as hell.)

so, in short: can we get big, heavy action guys back? cause I'm tired of seeing these skinny, despite being muscular dudes who look dehydrated as hell and on steroids.

and can we stop making characters ripped just for the sake of it? cause I'd rather cuddle with a guy looking like Hawkeye than one looking like Face from the new A-team movie.

Being home for break is great! You get gems such as seeing my partner for the first time in 4 months, my dad going off about “the liberal media indoctrinating our kids” and also calling my partner my “friend”, my mom telling me to get therapy, and my brother getting home at 2am because he’s incapable of waking up at a normal hour.
